Monday sees the start of delivery of the Oxford Vaccine . The BBC could provide a service by pressuring the government to get millions of people vaccinated now . Will it ? Or will undermine any National Effort with tales of ‘reactions ‘ and ‘refusals?’ . This will be make or break for the government . Let’s see how it goes as we all get locked down again .

BBC : “General content of #DadsArmy”
I don’t recollect any “General Content”
There was a Captain Square of the Eastgate Platoon and obviously Captain Mainwaring… there was even an episode about a drinking game named Cardinal Puff. But General Content, nope.
Fact is, our current BBC are lost in world of their own with little if any connection to their formerly classic output.

Their attempt to remake the lost episodes showed just how out of touch the producers they have now are. It was abysmal. Not least the awful laughter track they dubbed on it.
Wasn’t his name Cardinal Puff Puff the third or something ?.
Not as many puffs as Windsor Davies had in It Aint Half Hot Mum :-):

I’m afraid the Thought Police are everywhere regarding ‘being offended’…
I just finished a wonderful 1942 film ‘Went the day well?'(highly recommended) on the Talking Pictures TV channel.
However, I could not but help notice when the matriach in the Manor asks the young boy ..’do you know what morale is?’
The boy’s reply was bleeped out..’You mean what the … don’t have’ ..
I did not have to Google it, the offending word was …’WOPs’
Pathetic!

I wonder how many other countries in the world have any warnings on their TV programs if they have anything discriminatory against the British in them.
I feel confident to stick my neck out and predict it is exactly zero.
What an embarassment the BBC are. They don’t deserve the word British in their title.

Dr Laurence Gerlis has changed his tune
“Yes I said we didn’t need a second lockdown cos there wasn’t that much virus in our surgery* cases
but this new virus variation has changed the game
it’s 20-30 time more infectious
.. I still say no to lockdowns, it won’t be long where it sweeps through and leaves us immune
40% gives us some heard immunity”
* He runs a chain of drop-in surgeries at stations
“What I don’t understand is why international flights weren’t clamped down on
.. I do believe the new Kent variation is similar to the South-African one
.. I’m not saying this is a man made virus
but it does fit that pattern, previous viruses have not had the same patterns”

The BBC just loves those end-of-year reviews of the past year.
So it’s surprising they missed a fond round-up of 2020’s fun islamic terrorist attacks.
Here’s David Wood to fill that gap. The numbers are staggering.
“The ideology that drives these attacks is currently being shielded from criticism by the Trust and Safety Teams of YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.”
He might have added the BBC to that list.

Well, the FTSE is flying, there are no food shortages and none of the promised “chaos” at the ports that the BBC told us would happen.
So, they have dug and dug, and finally , in all the business news in all the world, they have managed to make this their headline …
EU firms refuse UK deliveries over Brexit tax changes
BUT, who are these companies, big names that will affect all us UK citizens and affect all our daily lives … alas NO. They are
Bicycle part firm Dutch Bike Bits said from now on, it would ship to every country in the world except the UK.
“We are forced by British policy to stop dealing with British customers,” it said on its website.
Another firm, Belgium-based Beer On Web, said it was now shunning the UK “due to the new Brexit measures”.
WELL DONE BBC. You never fail. We all knew that once Brexit happened they would try and find any tiny little snippett of non positive news. But this is just embarrassing.
Pathetic.

You can be sure the BBC will not accept in any way that the show is absolute tripe. They will blame the lower class racists/sexists for complaining about it and in response, I fully expect them to shift up a gear and push their woke agenda even more through sheer spite.
After all – they can. There are no shareholders they have to report to.

Cannot beleive that this child like rubbish is still being Televised-does the BBC still want to bring everything down to child like TV-it is getting worse by the week-very few progs now resemble any interest for mature thinking people-it they (BBC) can get away with a repeat they will. So many great and wonderful books written that would make excellent films or series such as Poldark did for a while.
The problem with all of those is that if they get popular, the BBC start to write their own stories when the books run out – and they always use the popularity as a vehicle to deliver their agenda. Net result is the series turns to absolute sh!t and gets cancelled.
They simply don’t have the talent to write quality material any more. Years of hiring people because of their politics/race/sex instead of ability have saturated the organisation and it couldn’t change now if it wanted to.

Lockdowns are a tool of communist China, and I do not believe we should be importing communist tools of governance into western democracies. That principle is that we live in a western democracy. We believe in individual rights, yes, with responsibility, but living your life responsibly and not seeking to harm others or degrade the social fabric does not justify the wholesale crushing of individual rights via lockdowns.
Millions will be unemployed after any further lockdowns, for whom furlough or some sort of basic universal income is no substitute. It is the dignity of having the job, the satisfaction that comes from a job well done that gives people joy, not a cheque from the government

Paul Homewood today :
Ignore Fake News, Says Fake News BBC!
Maybe the BBC should start by taking a good look at themselves!
Could this be the same BBC who rely on Greenpeace for their climate change reports?
Is it the same BBC, which has just broadcast a woefully one-sided indoctrination programme, dressed up as a “Scientific Lecture”?
Or which trumpeted Christian Aid’s mendacious report on extreme weather, without the slightest attempt to check or challenge it?
Or broadcast a Panorama documentary on UK extreme weather, that was so misleading it should have carried a warning label?
All that just in the last month
What Mr Davie is really saying, of course, is that we must all get our “news” from the BBC, and ignore other sources in case we discover the true facts.

At least Brexit confirmed one thing about the Media and that is that it simply cannot be trusted to act as an honest broker. While anyone who voted out (demons out!) was portrayed as a racist, little Englander thug and dismissed as a moron, the accusers, in their hysteria, never once questioned the remain camp as to why they voted remain. At the same time, out voters were given a daily Gestapo-like grilling mixed in with the usual sneering contempt/condescension. This is an easily verifiable fact so just throw it in the mix when anyone tries to come it about media bias not existing. As Corporal Jones also said – “They don’t like it up ’em! “

With US election being stolen I was reflecting on what I believed at the time of the Referendum here . I thought it would be fixed . But I guess UK elections are still fairly low tech so more difficult to corrupt ….
……………however with the coupled corruption of no requirement for evidence of identity and too easy postal voting future elections look even less legislate
The lesson is – dont bother campaigning or doing interviews – just spend the cash fixing the vote …. and if people think it’s not worth voting because it is fixed they won’t bother QED .

When millionaire footballers feel its OK to have large New Year parties at their mansions with little or no repercussions one can see why Joe Public think a bit of rule bending is OK.
Unfortunately it only takes (and manifestly does) a small number of cretins to think they know best and not conform and then transmit the virus they don’t know they have and lo and behold, case rates rocket and we all pay a high price.
With hospitals pretty full, I don’t think Boris has much choice.
But just in case you think I am going native……
Word on the street is that at a certain North London hospital only about a quarter of the expected number turned up for the jab…….. and the authorities decided to throw the surplus vaccine down the drain.
Personally I would have grabbed people off the street at random and asked if they wanted a jab, but such creativity would be well beyond an organisation that insists on proven training in radicalism prevention, fire safety, and equality and diversity in order to administer the vaccine.

Two Americans being interviewed.
Normal (at least it used to be normal) practice is having two opposing views but current normal practice is to have both agreeing how bad Trump is.
They are being fed questions with the answers already in them and of course are both agreeing. This is happening all the time now, a long question ending in the answer wanted by the wokerati and the interviewee (willingly, or they wouldn’t be on tv) nodding and agreeing.
Why do they never have anyone presenting the other side of the argument any more.
I suppose it’s like filming the empty overcrowded hospitals, the truth is dangerous and our rulers hate it when we keep finding out more and more of their lies.
How about all the other points raised by Trump in the phone call. Not much chance of being told about them on ‘our’ msm, only the carefully selected portion where they think they can damage him.
I don’t know how this will end but I think Trump has been magnificent. I wish he could come here and run the UK.

Bloody kids and schools.
‘childs development’ / mental issues / teachers safety / exam catch up. The best one yet is “a whole generation lost” Oh, ffs. On and on and on it goes.
Children (who aren’t wrapped in cotton wool) are adaptable. A year of upset schooling is hardly life changing – just work harder when things are back to normal. Remember the kids who had months off school when sick with diphtheria and TB and then had to spend weeks convalescing ? they managed to get an education.
Teachers, parents and trade unionists should ‘just get on with it’ instead of whining and whingeing on the tele. Its just boring.

Reading stabbing: School ‘reeling’ after boy, 13, dies
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-berkshire-55534123
Only six months since an enricher stabbed three to death in Forbury Gardens.
A school says its community has been left “reeling” after 13-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Reading.
Oliver Lucas Stephens, known as Olly, was pronounced dead at Bugs Bottom fields, Emmer Green, on Sunday.
Four boys and a girl, all aged 13 or 14, have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder. They remain in custody
_____________________________
According to unsubstantiated local reports, the girl paid the four boys £124 to murder her boyfriend.
If true, they should all rot in jail for sixty years.

It’s quite ridiculous how names of victims and those arrested are sometimes given and sometimes not. From previous experience, I now assume the killers are black if we are not informed. And feel resentment to the anti-white racist ‘society’ which tries to hide it from me. It would be better if they just told us.

The NHS is already overwhelmed , its overwhelmed by trustees , pen-pushers and bean counters.
In this modern age of technology there is less of a need of them.
The NHS should start training and employing more doctors and nurses. It would also benefit by reinstating the office of Matron and get rid of ‘Managers’.
It should cut down on waste and tender as ‘one bloc’ for supplies .

If this ‘team’ – with it’s deliberate ‘title’ to try and make it look like something official – is indeed new, it represents a step-up in the propaganda machine. Along with the release of this call and all the frenzy about it by the MSM, it’s obvious this is the final, coordinated push to make sure Biden gets crowned.

I suspect that one of the reasons the hospitals are so full is that they can keep more people alive now.
Thus they ‘bed block’.
Patients who die quickly are much better for the NHS operational teams.
If in 2-3 weeks time average daily deaths are under 1000 then there will be reason to believe some of a. Para 1 above is true b. The vaccines are effective among the high priority groups c. The new variant may cause fewer fatalities.

Car accidents are worse than Covid ?
It’s not great that 300 80 year olds are dying/day
but the trend is flattish not exponential
not 5,000 deaths/day
They Probably die about 3 months earlier than expected so lose 1/4 year each
1/4 x 300 = about 75 LifeYears lost/day
If 8 people die each day and car accidents
and their average age is 40
they’re losing 40 years each off an 80 year lifespan
8 x 40 = 320 life years lost/day
75 vs 320

And one said that deaths were falling….because of vaccination!?! That can’t be the case already surely? Isn’t it because more younger people are now contracting the virus?
Who do they think we are?
No it can’t be cos it takes 2 weeks for antibodies to be made
So they didn’t decrease the possible carrier pool until after that and only 3 weeks after that would lower deaths reflect the smaller pool.
And we’ve hardly dinted the pool of possible carriers with only 1% of the population half-vaccinated.

That’s a lazy approach
when they should be saying the Granny X just died , what could we have done to prevent her catching it in the first place.
We should be making more use of people that have recovered and have immunity
eg if the Tesco’s worker has had it
Then swap that Tescos worker with some carehome worker who lives in a house with 9 people
Then you have immediately made the carehom safer. etc.
