Katya Adler on 10pm news reported that the Commission were surprised when the 2 billion vaccines thought they had ordered, didn’t appear. I don’t know which shows the greater incompetence, the EU for not realising it wasn’t a firm order or Ms Adler for highlighting it.

All the pro EU MSM are collaborating ( an ambiguous word in this context) to limit the damage done to the project by the vaccine mess. A favourite line is that everything that the UK has done regarding vaccine supply could still have been done if we had remained in the EU, ie we could have refused to join the EU vaccine procurement scheme and still gone our own way.
Yet every single one of the Remain MSM predicted doom because we didn’t join the scheme, that there would be tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths in the UK. How wrong they were! Will we see them admitting to this gross error? Hell will freeze over first.
But one of the many positives that emerges from the UK vaccination programme success and the EUs disasterous one and their attempt to deflect blame and bully the UK and AZ , is that there is zero chance of the UK rejoining despite the efforts of Blair, Adonis, Gauk and the rest.
Other key questions aring from the fall out of the EU disasterous performance are:
Surely even the Scots must realise how bad the EU actually is and how poor the SNP is managing the roll out. But will they see sense? Hopefully enough will and turn the tide against wee Nippy.
As to the people of Europe will this debacle translate into millions more Eurosceptic votes at future elections and consequent rolling back of powers from the EU to the member states? Clearly EU politicians are worried that it will. Perhaps they will implement US style election fraud to protect themselves.
The Freedom of Information Act brought in by Blair is anything but. There is so much in the small print to prevent disclosure.
If that doesn’t work for the BBC, they can always hide behind the Data Protection Act, another of Blairs gems.

That the bbc is exempted to this extent from everything it hurls around like a baboon out the zoo grilles beggars comprehension.
A hill walker friend asserts that the BBC weather regularly go over the top on ‘bad weather’ ever since the egg-on- face of the 1987 October gales. It’s one giant a*** covering exercise.
Being an outdoor type I do watch the BBC weather but also that on ITV with the fragrant Lucy Verasamy. I even saw a C4 forecast the other day.
My friend is absolutely right. There have been three severe snow forecasts on the BBC in recent days. All fearing loads and loads of deep snow which would make big headlines if it actually arrived. Then, afterwards…..nothing. Total silence on the news. The snow drifts and big dumps never came, just a few flakes. In contrast the ITV and even C4 forecast seem to get it about right. No melodramatic fears, just a straight forecast which proves to be accurate.
In another context, the BBC would call such behaviour fake news, wouldn’t they?
By preference the BBC like it to be the hottest day/month/year on record. If the cannot report heat they go for wettest but rarely coldest d/m/y. But if in doubt the forecasters do predict the worst as farmers and your friend know. The BBC is not good for those whose industry decisions depend on good forecasting.
I once read that with regard to weather, people have short memories and for forecasts it seems even shorter. People really do forget that the BBC forecast 1 foot of snow yesterday or just think they were lucky to miss it. This is the BBC who know the climate 80 years hence.
I was watching the Minder re runs on ITV 4 a few days ago. Arthur was in the club talking about Global warming. It was some scam with supposed British wine or somesuch. The conversation went something like this: In the future we will have a Mediterranean climate. Other character interjects with we will all be drowned when the ice caps melt…So that was sometime between 1979-1994 the later end I think. So what ever happened to no more snow and rising sea water?
I find the Daily Express to be the best source for weather forecasts.

I accidentally got into a thread on facebook a while back in which two Lefties were complaining about people on the Right.

Unfortunately I sense the official pen poised over the death certificate and the covid-minded editorial headline writers ready to spurge even as we speak.
Will the medics blame pneumonia? One senses not. One elderly centurion’s earthly departure, which really ought to have been quiet and dignified is inevitably going to be promoted to the focus point of all the official narratives. Sad.
The tabloid Sun in extremis would uncharacteristically have us turn to religion: ‘Captain in hospital. Pray for him. NHS walk hero, 100, hit by covid’ – Amen to that.

The value of the oil and gas has been diminished by the Pandemic, hence the unrest stirred up among some Russians over economic slowdowns. It also puts Germany and the EU in a difficult position because Germany receives or is going to receive gas from Russia via a pipline.

If last week’s ‘Car Crash’ interview was down to the interviewee, Angela Rayner MP Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, today’s was purely down to the BBC and the presenter and it was wonderful.
Mishal was interviewing the founder of Bellingcat, Eliot Higgins, the informal, social media intelligence agency that bested the BBC and the UK Intelligence Agencies and the Wiltshire and Metropolitan Police Forces over the Skripal Affair. Mishal asked the question a BBC journalist should never ask another investigative agency.

With memories fresh in the minds of regular TOADY listeners of the BBC’s statements in November 2020 about the US Presidential Elections, then candidate Biden’s son’s laptop prior to that Election and the events at the Capitol that happened this year, that was definitely the wrong question to ask!
I caught a bit of the new White House press secretary the other day responding to a question about the GameStop scandal, where private investors had been blocked from trading to protect Wall Street.
Apparently Americans should be assured because the new Treasury Secretary is a woman, Janet Yellen.
One of the companies on Wall Street that needed ‘protection’ was hedge fund Citadel. Fox News says that Janet Yellen had received nearly a million dollars from Citadel for ‘public speaking, (shades of Tony Blair).
All the signs are that the Biden administration is going to be the most corrupt ever, but I doubt if the BBC will notice. It certainly looks as if all the claims against Donald Trump are true, just that it is the accusers doing the wrongs.

I wake up to the news of the military coup in Myanmar, the Republic formerly known as Burma. If there is one thing that ‘Wrongists’ hate, it is a military Government because there is no chance of fiddling elections as there are no elections while the military hold sway.
But then the reason for the military coup is given in the BBC news – “election fraud” – and then the thoughts of regular BBC listeners to Radio4 News will no doubt hurtle around the globe to a disputed recent election in the USA where the BBC dismissed those claims as ‘unfounded’ or ‘being without evidence’. So now the ‘Wrongists’ will have to ‘eat craw’ and their recent hate for Aung San Suu Kyi will turn to grudging concern and who knows maybe, in time, love, respect and admiration again.

Odd isn’t it that the BBC’s sole concern, instead of castigating the EU, is to blame Britain. The EU, according to Jeremy Vine, was merely retaliating for some British crime, Britain being greedy and irresponsible [as it tries to vaccinate its whole population to make them safe], the BBC now busy trying to force the UK to stop vaccinating Britons and rather to hand over its supplies of vaccine to other countries.
The BBC is on a campaign to stop vaccinations in this country whilst at the same time demanding the government vaccinate everyone quickly…as with this morning’s Today programme trying to find a way to condemn the care home vaccination programme.
Britain successfully buying enough vaccinations to do the job is apparently ‘Vaccine Nationalism’, driven, so Nicky Campbell tells us, by xenophobia and a creeping and sinister rise in populism. In a programme where he had on two advocates for surrendering British vaccine supplies to less rich countries, Campbell of course giving them every chance to speak and lay out their case and then agreeing with every word, claimed they were right….why, he asks, shouldn’t countries like Ethiopia or the Congo be rushed supplies as they suffer so much?
Hang on….firstly the BBC is always telling us how Britain has the worst death rate in the world [It’s given up lying about America now Trump has gone]…never mind plucky Belgium, in the EU, and others actually have a worst rate….so shouldn’t Britan be prioritised? and second it’s just a pure lie to say Ethiopia and the Congo are in any way in a covid19 disaster zone….most of Africa has barely been effected by the disease in comparison to Western countries….Ethiopia 2000 deaths, the Congo 700….Britain…100,000. It is mostly ‘white’ countries that are badly effected by covid19 and yet the BBC doesn’t say that…instead it tells us Bames are the worst effected [due to systemic racism of course] due to their race….which is another complete lie….it’s because of the jobs they work in, the way they live their lives and their culture…and their refusal to get vaccinated now.
Campbell read out a couple of critical messages from listeners who were astonished by the lies being spoken on his show…but then allowed his guest to counter each issue raised and to do so without challenge…for instance one guest claimed AstraZeneca were monopolising production, raking in profits whilst limiting production…it should be farmed out to other companies to allow vaccines to be delivered to less developed nations.
This is a completely false claim but Campbell just nodded along in agreement. AstraZeneca has many agreements with other countries to supply them and for production to be set up in those countries in association with other companies.

Consider now as deaths mount in Germany to near 60,000….how is it that a country with such an apparently brilliant ability to contain covid19, after having had 6 months to learn so much more about it and to ramp up its programmes to improve its preventative strategies, now finds that covid19 is out of control in Germany? It was pure luck in the first wave that meant Germany avoided so many casualties…..but the BBC just doesn’t want to talk about that now…it does however still attack Sweden….telling us that it is in dire straits with cases rising…thus proving ther strategy wrong and anyone who says we should use the Swedish model is also wrong and misinformed.
Of course Sweden is not in dire straits….its death rate is well below ours and yet they haven’t destroyed their economy. And how about Japan….strange the BBC barely mentions them…..a country whose reactions and track and trace systems were shambolic and yet they have had less than 6,000 deaths in a very crowded country……sheer brilliance or pure luck?
‘Nationalism’ is great if the EU or its constituent countries are doing well, not so great if it is Britain doing well….the BBC will always fly the flag for Brussels even going so far to lie blatantly…the BBC’s EU propaganda mouthpiece caught out….

Secondly, there doesn’t appear to be much equivalence between the EU’s recent behaviour and the UK medicine ban. The Politico story itself notes that the UK ban only covers supplies already intended for UK patients, to prevent middlemen making a quick buck by hawking the medicines elsewhere. Any medicines manufactured for export are exempt and allowed to leave the UK. In other words, French patients would still be able to receive any medicines manufactured in the UK. The EU, on the other hand, appears to be mulling an export ban simply to prevent other countries’ orders being fulfilled.
Unfortunately it seems to Mr S like the BBC is still on auto-pilot when it comes to its Europe coverage, and has missed the rather more obvious story: that it’s the EU currently behaving like a playground bully…’

And this morning it was announced that the UK government had met its promise to offer first doses of vaccines to every resident in a care home by the end of January.
This announcement took about 10 seconds on the ‘Today’ programme to be swamped out by a BBC report on an Alzheimer group, which is now demanding that care home residents get priority for their second vaccine jab early, rather than vaccinate other people who haven’t had a first jab yet. The BBC didn’t mention whether this should be ahead of teachers, BBC staff, non-critical public sector staff, union Leaders, political hangers-on….etc., etc. to many of whom the BBC gives a platform to promote their own safety first.
Then it was on to the Care Minister interview, where she was told in no uncertain terms by the Beeboid newsreader that they had not offered jabs to some care homes….but it looks as though homes with a current COVID outbreak might have to be visited later, for health reasons, obviously…. and then the BBC announced that it had had complaints from ‘some’ care homes who had not been visited……but no specific details, of course, nor of the reasons why…. so that wiped out that bit of good news.
Then there was the news that the government had ordered some vaccines from a new UK manufacturer….. but these are not for today…. they’re for future years. No congrats to the government for once more getting the UK ahead of the game, ‘cos it’s pretty damn certain there’s going to have to be vaccination rounds each year to be safe (can I have a big shout out for Wuhan, China and the W.H.O. – round of applause, please – and wash, rinse, repeat on your doorstep each Friday at 8:45 pm).

Jonathan Ashworth, the Shadow Health Secretary, claimed £23,865.67, including £2,843.20 on travel, of which £72.20 was spent on taxis between his London home and Westminster.
A Labour Party spokesman claimed it was often more cost effective for MPs to travel first class.
He said: “Many MPs book first class when they book in advance because its cheaper.”

Then after a 3 week draconian lockdown they could pretty much open everything up and relax as long as they stay put, and provision is made for essential incoming supplies to be checked and if need be quarantined.
Could also work for several islands up there.

TWatO Watch #1 – revealing the BBC’s mindset
Both in the 1pm News and TWatO itself the main item was not Myanmar – surprise, surprise – but the South African Covid mutation which – it is claimed – has reached the UK. Did this not reach the UK shores in the autumn or early winter of 2020/21? Did this not precede the Governments travel ban on SA, Portugal and Brazil as the latter two have links to southern Africa? Questions not asked by Sarah Montague.
The Montacutie did however, introduce the Newsreader with the usual trail of the main items and asked with words to the effect ‘could this new variant upset the Government’s vaccine roll-out?’. The obvious first desire of the BBC being to find something negative to say about the UK Government, I guess, especially as it is led by Boris Johnson.

Not posting so much as don’t watch and rarely listen to any AntiBeeb output now, but caught some of the wireless ‘news’ across the lunch break.
It started with, in serious tones, the door to door testing for the SA variant in the south east as a handful of people have tested positive for it despite not going to South Africa.
It was then Doom, gloom, doom, woe, woe woe, the end is nigh and negativity, finally finishing with the brave teacher who came-out at this mornings assembly, to his pupils (part of LGBTANIDONTCARE month) until Jeremy Swine started shouting down the microphone and callers were encouraged to make disparaging comments about the trans-pacific trade deal Liz Truss is negotiating .
Off. Button. Hit.
How any one can listen to this utter b*******s is beyond me.
PS anyone know where Steve Wright in the Afternoon is? Does seem to be missing a lot of his shows recently. Is he ill by chance?

Maybe an investigation is worthwhile, if she becomes sure? Imminent pandemics seldom get picked up by editors of media before all others.
