The BBC has decided that the mental health of young people is in jeopardy – if they are exposed to the sort of stuff the Far Left Biased BBC puts out is it any surprise ? The constant negativity about the collective plight of our country can’t be any help in reducing the stress of staying indoors . Further – where is the humour ? Where is the fun ? Repeated (green) stories of the End of The World targeted at the Young just won’t help.
any way – for believers -today is the beginning of Lent and Hope .
I see the BBC are bigging up about luvvies who may have some difficulties and more expense if they do any work in EU countries .
Yeah BBC , why didn`t you look into the businesses , trades and industries that had unfair costs levied against them when we were in the EU . We dont need telling by rich artists about margins being eroded until its not feasible to trade in lop sided markets . We had it all the time . Were you interested , BBC , or did it not fit into your narrative about the great good of the EU ?
Or were you ignorant ? So you`re not the know all and tell the nation everything they need to know organisation .
Either way you`re not worth £157 a year .

Evening all.
Interesting goings on on the BBC webshite.
A story entitled ‘covid- 1.7 million vulnerable added to shielding list’.
The implication being that this new group (based on key factors such as ethnicity, weight, and deprivation) will be prioritised for the vaccine.
There was a HYS. it was withdrawn after less than one hour.
I wonder why?
Here is the second top rated comment.
‘Interesting that ethnicity is mentioned, when it was recognised specifically by Van Tam last week that ethnicity isn’t the issue- socio economic factors and lifestyle are the real problem. The real problem it seems with ethnicity is not accepting the vaccine.’
Dare I suggest that the CCBGB, the hoped for virtue-signalling woke comments did not materialise, so the impartial webshite editors pulled the plug.
Enjoy.

PS we’ve had Jo Whiley on the BBC all day today advocating her sister as a covid priority case. On another day the BBC will advertise the merits of teachers, firefighters, police, and various other favourite self interest groups. Is there anyone left?
There are now so many of these that I feel we need a ‘not in a BBC self interest group’ self interest group, with a ‘what about the poor suckers who are paying for all the other self interest groups’ self interest group running a close second.

They have done some stats but it makes sense to only those who are specialist.
They could have correlated AAP deficiency to moratlity rates country by country.

I saw Ms Wiley yesterday on BBC news. I don’t blame her because I am quite sure if I was her, I too would be worried for a special needs sister. But as an outsider it was obvious that the BBC news has become the campaigning arm of the Left. The BBC news could have justified the demands for special needs to be vaccinated early but figures would have needed to compare severe illness or death of special needs compared to those now further down the queue. Indeed, it would need a definition of who with what difficulties would be pushed to the front (deafness or blindness may be less justified). But also, as the country goes full steam ahead, should there be armies of people working from home calculating that we can invite the 56 year olds here but not there where someone in a wheelchair is waiting for the vaccination. It is easy for the BBC to scream but their snowflakes couldn’t organise a drink in a brewery (well it has taken them months to think of and source plastic screens for Only Connect) and move chairs 2 metres apart.

Renewable energy is like a free lunch. There’s no such thing.
Far from free, its actually more capital expensive.
You never get it when you want it.
But you get it when you dont want it.
In the end, when you leave the Renewable energy cafe after paying (backed by law) a huge bill, you realise you have been conned.
Too late, you realise you cant leave. Its the USSR. Once in, cant leave.

A warmer planet then the present is good. Its shimple. A warmer planet creates more life, which then protects itself . Which is what life does.
A colder one then at present, is deadly. Less life, more cold, less life. We wont even have the energy to scrape off the 6 feet of snow from the solar panels.
In a colder planet , there wont be enough temperaure gradients to drive the weather cycle. It will be less. The wind turbines then cease to turn. Worse , the warmth creates evaporation and then the rains, monsoons. Without that agriculture falls. Starvation.
Less agriculture, less food, less plant life, less cattle. Less us. With less us, we wont have enough intelligent beings to combat and even prevent the coming ice age.
A colder planet is a recipe for a dead or dying planet. The planet sinks to a dreary static planet inhabited by static dreary people..
Vote for a warm planet. Drive petrol and diesel cars or high acceleration motor bikes. No electric. Drive fun like young Italians with a girl at the back. Enjoy life.

Oh BBC ,
Fascism and Nazism are left wing . “Progressives ” . Liberal/left . Corporativeism . Socialists ( its in the name ) . Big government . Nannyism . Big Brotherism .
On the same side as Communism , Marxist-Leninism , Maoism , Trotskyism .
Also on the same side as Islamists , which is why they are referred to as Islamofascists or IslamoNazis .
Your funding model is based on what you mistakenly call far right economics . The nearest thing we have in the UK to a Brownshirt or Blackshirt are your TV Licence goons . Tame by comparison though they are .
On the real Right side of politics are conservative people , anti big government people and libertarians . Hardly anything to do with the above groupings .
Now I`ve educated , informed and entertained . So you BBC owe me £157.50

I take issue with the word Central.
Sure, there might be fascist groups, but to tar everyone and the mainstay of society as a whole with that brush is hurtful and degrading. And downright depressing.
I think people respect hearing about difficult subjects when they are portrayed in context, and in proportion- but to make out its somehow part of us? No.

They chop down trees.
They build things from the wood.
They shoot geese and ducks.
Grandma takes grandson hunting. He has his own rifle to practice.
They stalk and shoot caribou..
Then they butcher the said caribou.
Because if you want to eat, you have to catch it first, so if you don’t hunt and eat meat, you starve.
They may or may not have electricity.
They have wood burning stoves.
The fridge freezer may be a hole in the ground, dug deep enough to get to the permafrost layer.
They mend things.
The nearest GP or hospital may be a plane ride away. If there was a plane.
In other words, It’s all about skills, personal responsibility, and self-reliance.

Sluff, there used to be a wonderful TV series in the 1980s, sort of rom.com stylee, on Ch.4 about a NY born Jewish doctor, who is financed through Med School by a very remote, small Alaskan village on condition he does 5 or 7 years doctoring for them on location upon qualifying.
He is reluctant and hostile at first to honouring his part of the bargain but is made to go. Then he meets the float ‘plane pilot, the plane being the only way in or out apart from two or four, human or animal legs. The pilot is female and good looking. By the end of the first series, Doc is quite reconciled to his commitment. 🙂
I cannot recall the name of the series. 🙁 It will come to me, maybe, later, perhaps ….

Sluff,
YouTube is full of stuff like this, loads of Americans, Canadians, Australians and Scandinavians with their own channels on homesteading, hunting and gardening, reasonably normal people, often with young families that they are homeschooling and with a strong Christian ethic, looking for some form of self-sufficiency and self- autonomy without becoming isolated.
I know YouTube have their own agenda at times but it provides most of what of what I watch now, the only drawback being the amount of time you can spend on it without realising. Full length films, sporting highlights, travel blogs and documentaries, cookery blogs, lifestyle blogs, history programmes, political commentary, all free with limited advertising. My wife and daughters watch some series, but hardly ever the films, on Amazon Prime and Netfix but if it was it was down to me I would get rid of them just as we have with the not-missed-in-the-slightest bBbc.
I’ve also downloaded the Rumble app, pushed by people on YouTube like Mark Dice, but haven’t looked through it yet but I’ll have a look because I can.
Why the bBbc still believes that it is either needed by or relevant to todays viewing public in any way baffles me.

The BBC has generously given an amnesty , of unknown length, to those over 75’s who have refused to pay for a License. We know that growing numbers of folks under 75 are also refusing to pay up. We know that under articles on the BBC in the Mail, Telegraph and Times plus any mention of the BBC on the likes of LBC , there are lots of comments from folks who want to stop paying for it because they never watch it, indeed they despise the BBC. The TINO Government seems scared to kill it off or even to give the people the tools to kill it off themselves.
I’m am sure that a nationally run anti License Fee campaign could bring the BBC to its knees within months and thst heading up such a campaign would provide any aspiring politician with a national platform. We know that Laurence Fox finds much that the BBC does repugnant and so I appeal to him to take the lead in such a campaign. It would put him and his Reclaim Party firmly on the national stage and be a massive boost for those of us who oppose wokery in all its forms. I will join his party and make a generous donation if he takes this on. A lot of others will too.

I disagree. The Reform Party has a broad range of policies covering all aspects of political life. Reclaim has , or ought to have , a much narrower focus of issues pertaining to culture. In my view winning the culture war is an essential pre cursor to defeating the Woke folk across the whole range of political issues. Perhaps Reclaim is the vanguard of the Reform party but its focus should be cultural until the war is won.

I feel that some fun could be had with the license fee and politics …
Near all of it has been memory holed but there was a political movement in Milan (iirc) that was called auto riduzione where people who felt that incumbent politicians of all stripes were abusing the public purse and they set up what these days might be called a CIC / “not for profit”… where people acknowledged that there was a requirement for a communal pot – just not one controlled by bent pols and their chums …
Given the Internet would easily enable it…. would it not be fun to pay a TV license into a communal fund where programme commissioning (and continuing existence) was a matter of member votes?
Democracy in action
It’d cause some considerable squawking in all the right places 🙂 – even if it was just a feint / suggestion rolled into the public space ?
Given Mr. Farage’s experience with the media – he might just be one man to have on hand for the launch?

Framing Anti-Brexit Again Today – with Anna Hill, demonstrated the levels the BBC go to in their endeavour to portray gloom and doom.
Today it is the pedigree livestock market and travel between N.Ireland and rUK. The BBC, who rubbished the Internal Markets Bill, are really pushing at this, N.Ireland thing. If the BBC are not careful, the PM may bring back that legislation to Parliament and get it passed to deal fully and finally with the EU trade truculence.
Then they bring on a poor farmer who cannot lift his beets due to the frost and floods. This poor chap – who appears to be reading from a script by the sound of it – doesn’t explain that he paid no attention to the weather forecasts. From the BBC. Actually, I’d be really surprised if a farmer needed a BBC weather forecast. Most know what the weather is going to be doing from the soil and sky and behaviour of animals.
The questions remain, however: ‘Why did the farmer not lift his beets before the worst of the recent rain and before the snow which was accurately forecast a week in advance?’ and ‘Why have you not arranged better drainage on your land?’ and ‘How many years have you been farming here?’
Anna Hill – paid a large salary at taxpayer expense – did not ask. After all, it would have spoiled the BBC farming doom and gloom propaganda, wouldn’t it?

Higher up the thread, Stew wrote this.
‘The libmob do seem to be on the foothills of fascism with their hate hate hate, and monstering of people’
……and I don’t disagree.
But I see another quite different parallel.
Thinking about the vaccination plans, the people that can contribute most to society in terms of wealth creation and taxes and will pay most in to address our alarming deficit and debt are absolutely at the back of the queue.
The front of the queue is dominated by non-contributors.
The similarity I see is with Mao’s Cultural revolution and Pol Pot’s Cambodia. In both cases a perceived bourgeoisie and doctors/engineers/academics were put to the back of the queue- the queue being one of preference and survival. The capable were marginalised, forced to work on the land or executed. Some twenty five million of them.
Weird. LibMob practice fascism, and the so-called Tory government (in the thrall of LibMob I suspect) practice Maoism.
Different labels. Similar outcomes.
And so how utterly ironic then that China and Indonesia are prioritising their working age population for vaccines. We may be economically illiterate but at least we’ll be able to get supplies of PPE

The problem with the approach that the most economically active should be ahead on the list is that it leads to eugenics – DNR Forms – abortions – encouraging lives to end earlier when they are declared a burden on the state – the Liverpool pathway …
Yesterday the government dressed up prioritising certain racial groups , fat people and the like in the guise of being .’more at risk ‘
A few weeks ago the idea of prioritising group on the basis of race was seen as obscene – now it’s blinked through . I don’t think it will make much difference – those with ‘bad lifestyle habits ‘ – who eat more than their body needs – will continue on that course – as will the ethnic third worlders who won’t accept white man magic .
But purely on economics – sluff – you are right .
Personally I think something even worse is coming along .

Trump lashes out at McConnell
Too much? How about….
Trump hits out at senior US Republican
Former US President Donald Trump has launched a scathing attack on Republican Senator Mitch McConnell , calling him “dour” and an “unsmiling political hack”. Mr McConnell, who led the US Senate for years and is a member of the same party as the ex-president, provoked Mr Trump’s ire after accusing him of being “morally responsible” for January’s US Capitol riot because of his election fraud “lies”. This was despite Mr McConnell’s vote to acquit Mr Trump at last week’s impeachment trial. Reeling off a list of what he considered Mr McConnell’s weaknesses, the former president said he would back Republican challengers who “espouse making America great again”, rather than the senator’s preferred candidates. Our North America reporter Anthony Zurcher says Mr Trump’s threat against his own party is what will give Republicans “the most heartburn”.

– Is the UK’s Covid-19 death count REALLY among the worst in the world? Are counts flawed ?

– Long Covid is widely acknowledged as being a growing problem, but what are the numbers involved?
Dr Natalie MacDermott, we revisit what she said then and what we know now. Plus, she tells of her own struggles with Long Covid.

Death counts .. they stated straight away that the UK is about #3
and then qualified that Belgium is very bad but does have the loosest definition
Then when questioning whether other countries were undercounting
said yes cos if you look at other countries like Peru and Spain their overall EXCESS death graphs are off the scale
.. And indeed that UK is only 18th in terms of excess death rate.
They implied that all excess deaths are due to Covid
and did mention that excess deaths are often caused by lockdown effects, that cancel cancer treatments etc.
Peru and Spain both had particularly hard lockdowns.
I mean they did first imply all excess deaths were due to Covid, but at the end they did mention lockdown effect deaths.
Vax ..big difference between Londonistan and rest of country
“London has vaccinated only 80% of over 70s
every other area scores more than 90%”
(They didn’t mention, that a lot registered as London are probably living abroad eg retired to Pakistan/India, maybe even dead and still claiming a pension)
“For over 80s fewer than 50% of blacks have been vax”
(Doh the UK number of 80yo blacks is too small for robust data
.. hangon he is giving caveats)
“Maybe people are refusing , or maybe system is failin to reach them”

Long Covid item
Summary *symptoms* the problem is the scientist clumsily include mild symptoms as well as severe.
A weak woman who gets severe Covid at the beginning is most likely to get LC
“one guy said it could be 20%”
“after 4 weeks 1 in 7 people are still reporting symptoms”
(doh that is 14% so contradicts the first guy)
“The Zoe app said only 2% of it’s users had the Long Covid counted as 12 week+ symptoms”
“whilst the ONS put the figure at 10%”
WTF why is the science so vague ?
Zoe guy “people suffering from loss of smell, pins and needles”
(Hangon that is included but I wouldn’t count that as a severe thing .. Sometimes your brain has forgot how to smell and it relearns it over time)
They did mention : Zoe might be undercounting cos maybe people are too sick to log in, so drop out
However 1 in 10 is not credible, cos the news would be full of them
That’s half million people if 5 million have had Covid
half a million in the 4.9 million survivors.
ONS must be including fatigue, which is NOT long Covid
(Net says “Some degree of post-viral fatigue (PVFS) or debility is a fairly common occurrence after any type of viral infection.” )
If it’s 14% after 4 weeks
then 10% after 12 weeks seems unlikely

“Case fatality rate is 2-3%of official cases
It’s a bit lower cos varying mild cases don’t get reported”

‘ As feared it spreads easier than SARS’
‘ We denied there was aerosol spread’

Her own Long Covid
Now can only walk 200m due to LC
She’s 38
She *believes* “I was infected whilst working on a Covid ward, and back at work within 10 days”
.. WTF where was your test ?
‘Then 2 months later I believe I was infected again whilst working on a Covid ward
now I seem to have neurological damage’
OK something has caused her own immune system to attack her body
After 8 months she can’t go upstairs, feels that she is not getting worse, rather than getting better.
If you look at Severe Long Covid you can see that the Health Impacts for 10 people people with it are WORSE than for 10 typical deaths.
Cos those dying typically suffer 12 months loss of life
so that’s 10 Life Years lost for that Group
Whereas for Severe Long Covid people their life quality is reduced so 1 year counts as I GUESS half a Quality Year
so over 10 years that 10 person group has lost 50 Quality Life Years.
At 1% of 5 million infections , that’s 50,000 people
over 10 years that’s 250,000 QALYS
vs the 120,000 QALY’s of people who have actually died

Lordy, am I sick of the BBC cutting and pasting this line in every article about Trump now:
‘after the Capitol riots, which led to the deaths of five people including a police officer.’
No mention of an unarmed woman being shot in the chest. The only one killed by deliberate action of another. Or mention that 3 were not malicious in any way.
It occurred to me that I still didn’t actually know how the policeman had died. So I just spent 10 minutes on google trying to find out.
Guess what ? – they’re keeping it secret. Apparently the intial report of being hit by a fire extinguisher is fake : he had no blunt-force trauma. He said he was fine back at the station. Speculation is he died of a stroke.
And you would expect the circumstances of this death to be the centrepoint of the impeachment trial – but apparently they didn’t go near it. Instead they talked about terrified people sending text messages instead. Obviously they knew it was all a lie.
If he died of natural causes (though maybe brought on by the riots), continuing with the implied (but not specifically stated I now notice) ‘killed by protesters’ murder narrative by saying the riots led to his death is beyond disgusting and ethically corrupt. But nothing less than I expect now.

Except in the instance of Trump and the events at the Capitol the ‘Wrongists’ have near enough total control of the media and so are able to send the lie around the world – not just halfway – again and again and again, in a never-ending repetition.
Then, it becomes a firm belief in the hearts of ‘Wrongists’ everywhere and beliefs always trump facts.

The BBC do like their standard copy paste framings.
Remember ‘unsubstantiated baseless stuff unchecked at all unlike wot BIJ did for Newsnight’?
Maybe Marianna could check the facts, or current lack of?
Or not. She logs off quite a bit when tasked off piste.

If anyone was worried about Capt. Tom Moore’s daughter, Hannah Ingram-Moor, as noone has heard from her in 2 whole days then don’t panic.
No need to worry, here she is again getting into the news again for being his daughter.

Poor Tom : used and abused for political purposes. Just like Greta.
At least Tom is free from it now. Greta will be on the rubbish heap watching CO2 rising around her soon once the innocence of a child with a disability cannot be used by the morally-bankrupt Left as a weapon.

When I posted that link the article was all about “the legacy that Tom left behind”.
Within the hour it had become an article about trolling. I call BS on this. The family rightfuly got internet criticism for their holiday to Barbados and now they try and turn the whole thing into a victimhood story.

Apparently a trip to Barbados was on Sir Tom’s “bucket list”. Too right it was. Who makes a 100 year old man fly for ten hours? Hope the holiday was worth it.

Doh the internet is a playground
.. so of course Tom Moore’s account got abuse
.. Typical abusers do turn out to be 13 year old girls.

One of the BBC’s tricks is to specifically state when things are done by the Far-Right, but not mention it when it’s done by others.
That way – over time – you tend to think all abuse is by the Right.
When my experience of the forums over Brexit was that it is the Left who are routinely child-like, nasty and spiteful.

There’s a strange interim feel to current affairs at present. Our nationalised broadcaster is contributing to this uncertain transitional atmosphere: ‘BBC declares television licence amnesty for over-75s‘ – however, the BBC: ‘…declined to say how long it would last‘ (Telegraph)
One scarcely needs to point out the pre-eminent overriding source of our current feeling of interregnum: ‘Lockdown to continue until cases drop below 1,000 a day‘ (Telegraph) – and on such arbitrary eventuality hangs the social and economic future of the nation.
Is the end always to remain just around the corner, just out of reach, in a place to which we never quite arrive?
We survey the press headlines and find: ‘Shield for six weeks, extra 1.7 million people told‘ (‘i’)
‘The G20 must lead a campaign to vaccinate the world‘ – says the globally ambitious Martin Woolf in the FT
‘Some employers draft “no jab, no job” contracts as business left to go it alone‘ (FT)
Philip Johnston writing in the Telegraph is – like so many of us – in a mood of disempowered resignation: ‘Vaccine passports are coming whether we like it or not‘
At this point it would be a comfort to imagine the formerly libertarian Boris Johnson turning to his public health czars and complaining as though he were Oliver Hardy, and the likes of the whimpish Whitty were Stan Laurel: “Well, that’s another fine mess you’ve gotten us into”
Will the single grand of cases line in the sand really make us all free, as Germans once promised their prisoners “arbeit” might?
Not, one senses, if the testing is a bit dodgy and we have this new effort to contend with: ‘Mass testing blitz as PM plans easing of lockdown. Millions to receive kits amid national campaign‘ (Times) – let’s do some mathematics… say we get a million self-administered tests a day: ‘…to homes and workplaces…‘ – in a completely healthy population it will only take one-in-a-thousand false positive results to maintain the totemic 1,000 cases number. As time goes on and more of us have had the jab or have recovered from the real thing, will the antibodies not proliferate and show up on these blunt instrument tests? Margin of error on these things, anyone?
‘I’m a hostage, says Dubai ruler’s daughter‘ (Times) – you and me both, luv.
‘Princess Latifa bint Mohammed al-Maktoum claims in a secretly recorded video she has been threated with being shot‘ – hey, it’s a bit rude to name her a bint, but I think I remember her mother, Queen Latifah, the big hip-hop singer who starred in that movie of the musical Hairspray.
And finally a little jokey item from the Telegraph: ‘Civil servant “paid less for being a white man”‘ – can’t help but feel our civil servants, in one way or another, have rather brought this on themselves
30 likes
AISI, I had a good chuckle over the inability of the Times front-page layout designer to spot an unfortunate juxtaposition from the Fashion Section and the News Section. You have a photo of Princess Latifa “I’m a hostage!” with the Fashion Ed wishing to encourage ‘Emerge in style – essential fashion for facing the outside world’.
Oooops!

Nice one. The formerly patriotic Times is a goldmine of sad juxtaposition this morning: ‘Root apologises…’ – for making some remark which was probably what he thought was true, meanwhile: ‘Free-speech payouts’

What is the problem with a vaccine passport -? When I worked all over the place I had a document with a record of jabs for everything …
I want a vacc passport if it will let me travel again … once the frankly dumb hotel lockdown is binned .

“What is the problem with a vaccine passport -?”
Where to begin…?
First off, can you or the experts, hand on heart, promise us that this rushed to market vaccine both prevents covid-19 (and varients) in the innoculated and eliminates transmission? I’ve seen vague percentage claims but nothing definite.
Hello there, let me on the plane, I’m 95% sure of not giving you all covid, look it says so on my passport.

I don’t care – this lock down can’t go on for ever – if the vaccine works for the majority great – otherwise you can live locked down until your heart stops working at the end of your days .

The problem is that it will be adapted to control every other aspect of your life, from your employment, to your local travel, to your shopping, your fuel, your banking, your medical support, and anything else which requires you to produce suitable proof of vaccination for this virus, let alone the rest of them, before you can proceed with your life.
You’re happy with that? I’m not.

While I also tend towards your pragmatism Fedup – I mean after all – if the place you badly want to holiday at demands it – why not? What worries me is the abuse of this. With talk in government circles of allowing people in theatres – 30 mins after testing (I for one would absolutely not ever go the theatre on this basis), how would you feel if you had to show your vaccine passport to go into the pub? The supermarket? These measures are completely within the envelope of what megalomaniacs like Hancok have already done.

I was always in favour of ID cards – mainly in the hope of identifying those who were not legally in the country and throwing them out – or making things so difficult for them that they’d go somewhere else .
I realise the danger of the state using ID cards as a weapon against the people who pay taxes but that’s a risk . ID cards might make elections a bit more legal too …

Fed:
Get real, this is Britain.
In the unlikely event that an illegal immigrant is discovered because he does not have an ID card, so what? He won’t be deported. He’ll claim asylum. The case will drag on for years, with multiple appeals, paid for by us, of course. If, after all that, he is meant to be deported, he’ll have disappeared back into “the community”, or else he’ll be married with kids, and his human right to a family life means he cannot be deported.
See Sense. The only people who will ever have to show their ID cards are white British people. The authorities are so scared of racism they would never dare ask a BAME to show ID.

And lured many a Beeboid ‘science reporter’ over for a US jolly.

Meanwhile, it was reported the other day that vaccination uptake among Leicester health and social care workers, a top priority group, was……37%.

Biased, deceptive BBC at it’s finest.
“Capt Sir Tom had tested positive for Covid-19 the week before he was admitted to hospital.”
The full time line:
Family visited Barbados.
About a week after they got back, Tom was admitted to hospital with pneumonia.
Tested negative for covid.
10 days later is feeling well enough to go home, routinely tested for covid again, tests positive,
So 100% caught it in hospital..
A week later he’s back in the same hospital with breathing difficulties.

What about the export of the freight service itself ?
In happier times lorries were British , with British drivers .
So even if goods were imported , there was money earned for the UK on the freight service provided . Taxes paid on profits , drivers employed and paying taxes .
So what “normal ” are the BBC taking about , over the short time or long term ? What do the figures show ?
As for imports , are those bogus asylum seekers coming over in the backs of lorries or on dinghies included ?

I don’t get what her purpose is.
Her audience can only be like-minded Guardianistas, “Oh look how stupid, racist, climate change denying, Brexit voting, homophobic, Islamophobic etc. these deplorable plebs are, not like us!”
She will never change anyone’s mind, she is preaching to the convinced, indeed she is just inciting people to go to bad places they wouldn’t have thought of going to by themselves.
Typical of the BBC. It is like their approach to perceived ‘racism’: Tell the plebs they are racist as a group, give voice to every black-with-a-chip-on-the-shoulder, ‘prove’ that the UK is and always was black by 100% black programming. Lies, threats and insults, how not to win an argument.

Looking at the replies it seems the BBC ploy of blaming the government – when it was they, not the tories that moved the goalposts by dropping the licence freeby AND twice upping the fee – has worked.

TIME lost all credibility when they put a fake picture of an illegal immigrant’s child bawling it’s eyes out saying it was all because of Trump. When in fact her mum had just gone to the toilet.
What made it much worse is how they refused to apologise saying it caught the sentiment. A very interesting take on ‘honest’ reporting. Exactly like the BBC choosing images from GETTY which bear no relation to the story and every relation to their separate, unconnected agenda.
I’m still confused about how this can be considered acceptable. Perhaps their fact checking team should look into the morality of it.

The BBC house newspaper ( guardian ) reports that Muslims have fallen out with said BBC because some leader or other got the treatment on women’s house from the daughter of a brothel keeper .
Apparently said Muslim woman was asked how many female imams are there x4 . This – apparently – was a bad question .
So the normal list of professional Muslims have signed a letter of complaint .
As we get the popcorn our maybe the coloured girl given 100 million to manage ‘diversity ‘ will have to attempt to earn her £200k p.a .
Maybe the muzzles will do a fatwa thing on the BBC –

If they have reservations about making Muslim attitudes to such behaviour public – hence the noble Sheikh’s desire to keep matters in the family and away from high buildings – why do they devote so much time to promoting other LGBQ etc issues?
