Weekend Thread 3 July 2021

How does the Far Left Woke Anti British BBC news manage a bi election result ? It looks like the BBC ( and Labour ) want to just look at the result and broadcast it on and on . But a 350ish majority ? Labour and the BBC have a lot in common – the same political belief and a long long decline as people leave them behind .

They’ve got a bunch of people with things to promote
so they use that as an “in”
and then do vast contortions in order to push BBC agendas.

Item #1 ‘England’s Victory : now there were no Muslims team
… Here’s a guy who has made a Muslim Athletes Charter
… saying that they shouldn’t be asked to promote alcohol-free beer if it’s from an alcohol brand
nor be involved in non-halal food etc.’

Item #7 ‘Now here’s a guy who’s written a book about Evangelical Christian’s in a region of the US.
now let’s use that as a way of attacking Trump’
    Guest…’ These Evangelical Christian’s have a *persecution complex* …

    …What and BLM don’t ?
Presenter ..’now the Jan 6th insurrections, there was this Christian leader with Trump on stage BEFORE it happened
… blah blah White Supremacists …’

… Actually they were on stage whilst it happened, don’t make out Trump’s speech ordered people to go into the Capitol..

One had to laugh at ITV’s 5 minute condensed highlights clip of England’s Euros victory last night.

Four goals and much celebration to include yet ITV believed it important to squeeze in the taking of the knee. Except commentator, the portentious Sam Matterface, gaffed with his: ‘England are on the road, but they continue to spread the message of equality and the fight for social injustice

He’s a sports commentator so let’s not be too hard on him. Of course he meant justice not injustice – inadvertantly giving us a fine example of why sport and politics didn’t ought to be mixed.

Anyway it was interesting that no mention of race or BLM was included in his script or extemporised from his crib notes, which notes no doubt did include vital commentary facts, such as the number of caps each of the England players have and how to pronounce those tricky names of the Ukrainians. I swear I heard mention of Matt Bianco – I wondered what had happened to those 1980s jazzy latin-swingers.

But seriously, there’s two main themes in the press this Sunday. Football and rumours of lockdown lifting. Freedom could be coming home at last?

The Sunday Times asks provocatively: ‘Would you go topless in the park?‘ – steady on, wimmin’s lib and all that but as a chap I’d be happy to just be allowed to show up in Tescos without a facecovering.

Something tells me the metropolitan-minded female-oriented journos at the Sunday Times live within a bubble world somewhat separated from those who inhabit the real world of… oh, I don’t know… Batley and Spen? I doubt the ladies of that recently in the news locale will be popping their tops off in their local park any time soon, whatever the weather.

The Sunday Telegraph suggests: ‘Bullish PM to axe mask laws as “NHS safe“‘

The Sunday Mail quotes our new Health Secretary: ‘Sajid: opening up will make us healthier‘ – which is a direct contradiction to what the doctor’s union the BMA are preaching. So we await the push back and media arm wrestling ahead.

Keep the masks, say docs‘ (Daily Star Sunday)

I don’t know about you, I’m calling their bluff and this time I will refuse the bait and switch. No more mask for me after 19th July – probably see you in court.

My – possibly paper-thin – defence will be a copy of the Sunday Express frontpage: ‘The return of common sense! Mask laws WILL be scrapped on Freedom Day after Boris urges us to take personal responsibility‘ – and I can already sense the U-turn coming and visualise me in the dock and the dreaded judge donning the black cap to match his black facemask.

Following swifty on the demise of Matt Hancock two more planks of governmental lockdown policy finally seem due to fall: ‘No more QR codes for the pub – and you can drink at the bar‘ (Sunday Times)

Cartoonist Newman nails this one in the Times as his jubilent chap declares: ‘At last we won’t have to do that thing we don’t do‘ – has he been reading my anecdotal posts hereabouts?

Furthermore: ‘School bubbles are paralysing society, paediatrician warns‘ (Sunday Telegraph)

Matt in the Telegraph has this one nicely lampooned with his bashful schoolboy telling his mum: ‘I was sent home from school because my imaginary friend tested positive for covid

That much-abused daft restriction will be lifted just in time for the schools breaking up for the summer… those summer non-holidays the kids won’t be going on with their families. Dare anyone suggest the teachers work on for another month? Afterall, no one’s going anywhere.

In celebration of the football the Sunday Express invokes the obvious classical allusions: ‘Gareth’s gladiators run riot in Rome

I’d have gone with: ‘Ukrainians fed to the lions‘ – that’s my bid for tabloid sub-editorship.

And Finally. The saucy tabloid Sunday Satyr (typo intentional – Boris’s classical education seems to be rubbing off on us all these days) hails the lift the football has given the nation: ‘Well that worked a charm. Now we’ve got a massive semi

If I had any doubts about my opinion on the dubious reasons for endless covid restrictions pushed onto us all, this article from the Express explains a lot.

    https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1457950/lockdown-labour-scientists-plot-bit-more-restrictions

Left-wing ‘zero covid’ scientists plot bid for endless lockdowns

A GROUP of scientists in Britain who want to push for continued and tougher lockdowns are set to launch an international “zero covid” network later this month.

The Sunday Express has learnt that members of Independent Sage are to be part of the launch of an international group called the World Health Network which will push for a “zero covid” strategy of maintaining lockdowns. The revelation came at an online meeting of the Zero Covid campaign group last week where trade union officials told attendees about how covid is a means of recruiting members and how the ultimate goal has to be “to bring down capitalism.”

The news about the new international network was announced at the end of the meeting Yaneer Bar-Yam, an American physicist who is a member of the Covid Action Group which includes the members of Independent Sage including controversial behavioural scientist Professor Susan Michie, who is a member of the Communist Party.

I am sure that there are lots of people who worry about lifting restrictions but in my opinion what is happening here right under our noses and with the tacit approval of the Government is far more dangerous.

The whole thing has a bad smell and this points to where it’s coming from. They have admitted that they are out to smash society and thus are literally “Enemies of the State.” and should be treated accordingly.

High time to give these nasty Global activists the boot!

If Boris has read this it’s time to act.

If true or even partly true this story has major implications for the UK public and so should demand an airing by our National Broadcaster, unless of course they are a shadowy part of the organisation plotting this stuff so have to keep silent.

RNLI boat from Ramsgate goes to pick up illegals from accompanying French ship off Dunkirk and then offloads them onto Border Farce vessels mid channel. Presumably this is so that the lifeboat can go back empty (not us ‘guv) and BF isn’t seen to go into French waters to liaise.

After the handover to our lifeboat the French ship then crossed over into our waters again – making that 20 times in the last four weeks.

Oh, but then, we’re relied on to provide jobs, financial support and housing. Bottom line, they cant live without us. Corrupt all black self governing regimes in Africa have proved that, so the way they whine and criticise us in their disparaging way in all that’s wrong with us, its obvious we’re a better bet than living any other way. Just ask old Yasmin Alibaba Brown !

    2-sub-swimming-jumbo.jpg?quality=90&auto=webp

    maxresdefault.jpg

The BBC are very concerned that white people swim more…so they do the usual and spin it into a story of black oppression at the hand of white racists…talk about spreading hate and division and race based conflict….

‘”There’s so many barriers for black swimmers and [Fina have] kind of put another barrier up – defeating the whole purpose of the work that I’m doing.”

White British children are over-represented in swimming relative to their population share, according to a report by Sport England from January 2020.

Around 29.3% of white British children take part in swimming, compared with 21.9% Asian children and 20.1% of black children.’

Curious the BBC never says that blacks are ‘over-represented’ in football…..and surely White children are not over-represented [which makes it sound like a privilege] but Bames are under-represented because they don’t want to swim….a white liberal saviour can lead a black to water but….

Apparently a racist decision not to allow large swimming caps so that people with huge afros can swim at the Olympics is just appalling.

‘Young black swimmers are “disappointed and heartbroken” by a decision to ban a swimming cap from the Olympics that’s made to cover their hair.

Soul Cap say the international governing body for swimming rejected an application for their caps to be certified for use at competitions.’

Is there no end to the suffering of Black people at the hands of the Oppressor?

Thank God the BBC is on the case and fighting for racial justice! Odd that they say blacks must wear a cap or their hair gets damaged and so they don’t swim…and then puts up this photo of the girl…

      Stew ,

I caught some of the programme about prisoners , poor things , dying in jail .
What I gathered was that prisoners are better looked after than the average Joe making his way in the world , not committing crimes and leaving fellow citizens in peace .

The average age of a death by natural causes in prison is 56 while it is in the eighties amongst the free law abiding folk .
Cause for concern ? To File On Four yes , to anyone else no .
For a start the average age of prisoners is younger than the average age of the normal innocent folk .
Secondly how many criminals are kept in jail that are over 56 ? Very few and an eighty old banged up inside could only be a pensioner not paying the telly tax .

It was a stupid program typical of the BBC .

Dominic Cumming’s original recruitment drive for his office notably cast the net outside the Civil Service – and no doubt that marked him out as a man to be done down… I mean I’m confident that Civil Servants have conducted themselves with scrupulous adherence to travel rules and other people’s spouses over the last 18 months?

One remedy is likely the recipe that the Civil Service has traditionally used on its own misfits – post them somewhere ghastly.

              1 We can’t hang traitors anymore .
2 I think one of our Prime Ministers abolished the offence known as “treason”.
Now, who could that Prime Minister have been ?

BBC WEB-SITE Watch #1 – in which the BBC undermine the Feminist Cause

“What?” I hear you cry. Yes, the BBC – who normally love to promote the Feminist Cause – also, for some strange reason, do all they can to undermine women and present them as feeble or as wimps and snowflakes.

I can see people being prosecuted for not wearing this device. If it is not worn , like crash helmets and seat belts, it would have a negative impact on front line workers and the anychess.

As an engineer myself, I have learned that almost every single report to do with inventions and technology on the BBC is written by a complete dimwit who’s sole purpose is to make it sound amazing. You would think robots are close to taking over the world if you believe them.
Just look at the pictures of the device : no way on earth that’s a prototype built by a student. And look at the power wires held on by crocodile clips !.
I smell typical BBC bullsh1t where there is a lot more which they aren’t telling us.

Perhaps this is old news to many here, but I just watched Sportsday on the BBC News channel (I know I shouldn’t) and they referred to Gareth’s team throughout as “England Men.”
Gareth burbled on from between two Cokes and a Heineken – would an “England Women” have a different choice of drinks?
The Tour de France was spared any such distinction, ‘cos the women’s Tour doesn’t return until next year.

    Jesus loves simps?
    Jesus loves maps?
    Jesus loves stamps?

how do we know its offensive if we don’t know what it says?

It could say “Jesus loves sames'(ex couples)

I read it as Simps (ie sunmissive men)
It’s really strange that BBC tweet say it says “Jesus Loves Sinners”
..yet the BBC article doesn’t say what it says.

New : “Rainbow crossing fixed after vandals scrawled over it ”

If the vandal had signed it “Banksy” the council would have been unable to ever clean it up

Stew, If you look closely you will see that the message was not completed. It was supposed to say “Jesus loves Simpsons” but the ‘vandal’ ran out of room on the crossing and suddenly realised that he would need white paint to complete the word. I think we can correctly assume he said “Doh” at this point and ran off to acquire some, but fell asleep and forgot about it.

Robin Hood himself has a new sidekick Little John, a super tall black Muslim guy, who is uper loyal
cos Robin tried to save his son whilst they were in Africa
