ITV local news : special item for the tens of thousands of professional black swimmers in Yorkshire/Lincolnshire
Its likely that competitions will approve designs of afro swimming caps.

  2. tomo says:

Vaccinated from EU/US can likely avoid quarantine Joseph Lee & Francesca Gillett of the BBC say

    – s’funny because the authorities are resolutely and repeatedly refusing to accept vaccination proofs from the USA submitted by friends + colleagues of mine….

Jo + Fran done their homework? – I suspect not.

  3. Northern Voter says:

It now appears that Biles, after playing the loony card, is now playing the sexual abuse card. Black, loony and sexually abused, nap hand!

    • Scroblene says:

Had she been playing cribbage, NV, she could have turned up a Jack and had one for his knob as well! And it might well have been her box, so quids in!

All stuff the awful BBC bilgerbirds admire.

    • Sluff says:

      I don’t suppose she’s gay as well ?

      • Scroblene says:

I don’t even bother to shut my eyes, Sluffy! I’m so disinterested in the ridiculous ‘limpics, I haven’t a clue!

    • digg says:

And the press keep falling for this absolute crap. It’s lose and it’s societies fault, win and I am the greatest. It’s like doling out prizes at a kids Christmas party so no one feels left out.

      • Scroblene says:

It’s crap, because it’s dead easy, Digg!

Lazy over-paid autocue-readers paid by the state is the way to go for these morons, and the dross they spout is easily ignorable!

  4. Sluff says:

Been watching BBC Olymoic highlights package.
The ‘highlights’ seem to be ‘analysis’ of performances by an army of ‘experts’ and interviews with girlfriends, wives/ husbands, relatives, children and pets of our medal winners.
The actual sport is well under half the running length.
And of course you would need a double decker bus to fit in all the presenters and experts.

Particularly noteworthy is the new expert coverage of…..people watching the TV as their friend/ relative wins a medal. A real ‘highlight’.

Really pathetic. Oh for the straight reportage of dear old David Coleman, Harry Carpenter, and Alan Weekes et al.
With all action and no padding.

Now we get Clare Balding (female, gay) and Alex Scott (female, BAME). Tick, tick, tick, tick.

    • Sluff says:

      An update.
The highlight tonight is that a black female american gymnast is not competing.
Cue a long feature and conversion from Olympic so-called highlights to a mental health support programme.
I particularly liked this world class comment from the expert.
‘She might suffer a fatal injury. Or worse’.

With analysis like that, I am quite literally lost for …..

Further down the running order. White British female, dear Charlotte Dujardin, wins her record sixth Olympic medal, in a report lasting a whole two minutes.

      • Northern Voter says:

Further to the above wokiness, Rugby Sevens bronze medal play off, GB versus Argentina, Brits take the knee, Argies stand looking, thinking, how did this lot win the Falklands war? Let’s have another go, we’ll beat them this time. Adjunct, Argentina won the bronze medal 🥉. Prats (that’s the Brits, not the Argies)

        • vlad says:

Once again, team GB: get woke go broke.

What a pathetic wimpish message to send out in that most macho of games. Contrast that with the Kiwis who do their Haka, and blast into the game all pumped up, while the Brits go waddling and limping in on their weakened knees.

I hate to say it, but I feel a bit of schadenfreude every time a woke team gets thrashed after taking the knee.

          • Scroblene says:

            Great final para, Vlad!

            Very true!

If they want everyone to be ‘equal’, then what’s the point of playing the bloody game in the first place, it’ll have to be a draw, so there aren’t any hurty feelings!

  5. StewGreen says:

Brazier is really laying into his fellow Bradfordian Anita Rani
‘How dare she shout racism when I am talking about 2 actual grooming gang victims ‘

    ‘crying racism cheapens the issue
also the creed is , if I believe I am a victim of racism that automatically makes it true’

    • Northern Voter says:

Rani makes a very good living as a voice over artist for adverts, must be because the casting directors can’t see the dusky countenance.

    • vlad says:

What a breath of fresh air GB News is, tackling Anita Rani’s faux racism claim that she might have won Strictly had she not been brown. Truth is, she probably only got some of her jobs as a box-ticking exercise because of her brown face.

  6. taffman says:

“Farage GB News Show DEFEATS BBC News”.
    Michael Heaver.

  7. Dover Sentry says:

The Woke are deeply scared of Lord Farage. They’ve tried EVERYTHING to discredit him.

Y’know…I think he’s enjoying his new found seat on GB News.

His interview with Ann Widdicombe was a classic. The backdrop was a well stocked bar and they were both drinking pints. It was called ‘Talking Pints’!

  8. tomo says:

grrr … took some digging …. Mountain View Googlers are working hard to turn him off…..

    • JohnC says:

You have to wonder just how thick people need to be to believe the embarassing fake tears from those people. It made me cringe with embarassment.
I wonder how many do and how many are liars who pretend they do because it suits their own political agenda.
America has become a giant lie. How long can it go on ?.

      • Banania says:

“America has become a giant lie.”
Not only America. How long before the two worlds, the one of common sense and the other of Government propaganda, collide?

  9. Emmanuel Goldstein says:

Just about all the vulnerable and nearly all adults have had at least one jab and soon they will have had both jabs.

The only group left is the children.

What is wrong with letting them all get covid as it barely affects them but it will give them all immunity.
This would mean that either with vaccines or immunity the Country will be fully protected.

Is there any flaw in that logic?

    • taffman says:

      Emmanuel Goldstein
      There is No Logic .
SAGE is an oxymoron . They have been rumbled .

    • Dover Sentry says:

“….but, but if only one life could be saved, it would have been worth it”.

That is the mantra of the Left/BBC. To think otherwise, makes you a murderer. And by default, racist as well.

      • Thatcherrevolutionary says:

Except when it comes to Hydroxychloroquine or Ivermectin.

        • Banania says:

Would it not be a good idea to determine how many people in this country – “vaccinated”or not” – actually are immune? If most people are immune, then we can down tools and go back to ordinary life. Something tells me that our elders and betters do not want this to happen, for some reason.

    • digg says:

The pandemic monsters are hanging on to this like blood sucking vampires. It is getting obvious that the thing is waning but they just will not let it go. They have tasted blood and want to keep drinking it.

If ever there was a case for a deep investigation into the drastic and dire effects that these people have created this must be the time.

I really hope that someone in power demands a deep and thorough investigation into the misery that these creeps have wreaked on the population and for what purpose and takes full revenge.

We need names and facts. It has been such a momentous issue for so many people and has impacted on so many lives that to deny an inquiry would be scandalous.

The only way is for us plebbs to target our MP’s and demand they work on it for us,

    • Sluff says:

Our NHS heroes will no longer be front-of-mind.
But will they take a 3% pay cut when their work returns to normal?

  10. taffman says:

“International cruises from England to restart”
Are they putting all our French illegals on them ?

  11. taffman says:

“Covid: One million masks for NHS fail high-grade safety tests”
    Who signed this order off?
Another case of follow the money ?

    • tomo says:

So they’ve not tested the 11,000 containers of PPE kerrapp that was stuck in Felixstowe container port then?

(or admitted that HMG bought the shite with our taxes)

  12. digg says:

OK this is a new front in our fight. I build and operate a number of web stores on behalf of my clients. In the course of which I set up google Adwords to get traffic to the sites.

So, in the past few weeks Google have been getting busy on new stuff.

I now am asked to provide personal verifiable details of the actual identity of the person paying for the ads. complete with photo evidence such as driving license etc

Coincidentally I paused one of my clients campaigns because they had got too busy. Within hours Google we’re on to me asking why. And could they help. So I lied and said I didn’t agree with their invasion of privacy approach.

There is no doubt this has to do with monitoring political stuff so Google get stuffed!

    For Google read “democrats”.

They will end up paying for this crap.

I have also been advised by Google that henceforth all ads presented in the EU region will be subject to an additional surcharge. What this actually means is that EU countries intend to tax Google to advertise in their region, so being the mega-rich company that Google is they will simply pass this on to their customers. How quaint and noble this “free to search” abortion of an organisation is.

No wonder they fully support the useful idiot president of the USA.

To everyone out there who doesn’t know I suggest you drop Google for searches and go for same results but no tracking and no ads.

    • tomo says:

There was talk a while back that DDG was being “got at”.

Apple have a crosshair on them and deep pockets….

      Anybody know more?

Google have been playing politics for ages now.

As an aside – there’s something going on wrt visibility and highly targeted filters applied to Google products.

    • Banania says:

I don’t get on with DuckDuckGo; is Bing all right (although it is Microsoft)? Are there any others?

    • StewGreen says:

@Digg I hope people realise that isn’t n actual search engine alternative to Google.
It’s an anonymous aggregator of Google and other search engines.
#1 yes it stops Google spying on your search directly
but there maybe some way through cookies that big tech can spy on you.
#2 The main source of DDG results is Google and then Bing
if they don’t index your site or have derate it, it still won’t appear at the top of DDG

      .. All my opinion etc.

  13. StewGreen says:

That BBC Wales article is very long

We see BBC articles about the lack of male infant & kinder garden teachers, all the time … NOT

    • JohnC says:

How can it be a crisis ?.
Unless most of the children don’t speak English.

    • Dobyns says:

      taffman, can you enlighten us?

      • taffman says:

        Fraud not ?
Could it be some sort of ‘job creation scheme’ for unemployed ethnics?

        • JohnC says:

She ‘trained to become a teacher this year’.
And so speaks the voice of experience.
And she says ‘I don’t actually know how many of us are black’
And the BBC see fit to base a lengthy article on her opinion.
She seems quite nice and just saying what she thinks. It’s the shameless BBC far-left who have turned what she said into this racist monster.
I now have a mental block against the word ‘diversity’. ‘Equality’ is when races are treated equally. ‘Diversity’ is where one is disproportionately pushed forward at the expense of another. Which is racist.

          • Banania says:

Tiger Bay always had black people, but Wales generally….? What is this person’s point?

    • JohnC says:

How come every ‘Head of Diversity’ type position is an ethnic female ?.
It’s like putting Billy Bunter in charge of the tuck-shop. Absolutely zero chance of objectivity.

    • Guest Who says:

Maybe many are heroically not going to work for mental health reasons and/or to get their pic on the bbc?

  14. JohnC says:

This caught my eye on the good old Beeb:
Colorado officer arrested after threatening to shoot suspect during stop
As I am want to do in these cases these days, I decided to research it a bit more because the BBC are last people I trust to tell me the full story.
And guess what. I couldn’t find it. First thing I found was that the BBC didn’t tell me he was one of 3 men who had had outstanding arrest warrants against them. Not simple trespassing as they said.
And why do ALL these stories miss out vital parts of what happened ?. In the longest bodycam video I could find, the guy is being told to lay down and put his arms out to the front. He is being a prick about it like Floyd was.
Then it jumps to after the guy has been hit with the gun and the policeman is holding him by the neck.
Why was it deliberately edited ?. What happened after he was laying down to make the cop fight with him ?. Why has that absolutely vital piece of the video been cut out ?. In another video I saw, there was a moment when the bodycam video was from someone laid on the ground. All it does is make me not trust whoever did it. Same as the BBC and the scandalous editing they did on the Trump/Disinfectant video.
I’m not saying whether the cop is guilty or not but something stinks here. And its coming from the Left.

  15. vlad says:

The BBC love their anniversaries, don’t they?

Year after year, they never tire of Stephen Lawrence; and now they have a new saint to worship in their liturgical calendar in the form of Saint Floyd of Fentanyl.

And they love Europe, oh how they love Europe.

So it’s odd that they forgot to mark the anniversary of a real saint and martyr 2 days ago. Father Hamel, a saintly old priest, had his throat slit by islamists while celebrating mass in a small country church in Normandy, five years ago.

It was quite a big story in France earlier this week, with French Deputies and Senators attending the commemoration, even their Interior Minister.
But it seems the Little Englanders at the BBC weren’t interested.

Father Hamel’s last words to his butchers were: “Go away, Satan”.
    He got that right.

  16. taffman says:

    ‘Dover invasion’
Has there been any record or report of a protest to the French Government by our Home Office about the illegal dumping of criminals on our shores ?
    Very strange.

  17. Up2snuff says:

TOADY Watch #1 – was I asleep, did I dream that?

The excessive Olympics enthusiasm of Mishal sent me ‘back to the land of Nod’ but I was awake enough during the first hour of the programme to gather that the BBC are having a big Olympics ‘Kadenza’* today as well as a big Global Warming and Climate Change ‘Kadenza’.

I thought I heard Roger Horror Been declare that 2020 was the hottest this and the wettest that and also say it is because it is getting sunnier in winter. Really? Normally the days get shorter and night gets longer in winter, Rog.

All those SAD sufferers will be delighted with Global Warming and Climate Change then.

    * A musical term that was used as a euphemism for something by a South African woman in a BBC R4 comedy some years ago. It was actually quite a good comedy programme, so good that I have forgotten its name. I think it only ran for two series.

    • Old Goat says:

Global “news” (which I usually try to avoid, but wasn’t quick enough with the ‘off’ switch, this morning…)

Leading meteorologists from the Met Office say it has been the wettest, hottest, coldest, windiest (most ordinary) year of the century, so far, but there’s going to be lots of extreme weather around, and heatwaves, and floods, ‘cos that’s what’s been around so far this year, and it’s ALL because of climate change, and it can only get worse, and we’re all gonna die (those who survive Covid “vaccinations”, that is…).

Why do they continue to believe that anyone sensible accepts this rubbish any more? Have they not heard of Tony Heller?

      • Up2snuff says:

Ah Bonjour, OG. Ca va bien?

Can you clear up a couple of things for me?

It is rumoured that President Macron is going to make it mandatory for people to have a ‘vaccine passport’ – be double jabbed – in order to vote in next year’s Presidential Election. Is that right?

What are the Gilets Jaunes up to at present and what is their reaction to this news if true?

Oh, and while we are at it, perhaps you can clear up something else for me: is Tony Heller an Australian? I’ve watched a few of his videos and I hear a north American, New York suburbs sort of accent.

        • Old Goat says:

          Bonjour Up2snuff.

So far as I am aware, Tony is an American Jew.

Macron is indeed enforcing a mandatory “vaccine passport”, in which he intends to include voting rights.

          There will be (more!) trouble.

The Gilets Jaunes achieved their aims of stopping Macron’s fuel increase, and so faded away. The general feeling about Macron’s latest wheeze, is one of universal disgust, and this will make itself known over the coming weeks.

          • Up2snuff says:

Apologies, OG, but I have since read and wish I had checked it out earlier before posing all these questions.

The puzzle for me is that if I check out Tony Heller in any search engine (in the past I used G**gle but not now) his name brings up references to Australia, the Australian Parliament, calls for him to banned from this and that, etc., etc. and, also, others on-line talk of him being Australian.

Yet I hear America – and NY, irrespective of religion – in his voice.

Good health and strength to you and Madame OG for what is to come, in France.

            • Old Goat says:

Thank you for your good wishes. Unfortunately, the former Mme Goat has decided that living with this goat was perhaps not such a good idea, and has subsequently gorn…

          • digg says:

Macron along with the joke leader of Canada are riding the crest of what they think is an “alternative” wave. So they have sunk their causes into this clamour coming from the decidedly odd side of humanity. Personally I can’t see it lasting once reality kicks in and they will sink like stones.

When for instance the oil Companies decide that have had enough brickbats and start to close filling stations we will then see how Joe Public likes what these people are pushing in their faces.

  18. Guest Who says:

The BME is a bumper edition today.

    Selected highlights… from Nafeesa….

    “By Nafeesa Shan

    Disruptive climate change

“A lot of people think climate change is in the future”, says a scientist at the Met Office. But the UK has become warmer and wetter over the 30 past years and with signs showing that’s unlikely to change. “This proves the climate is already changing here in the UK” continues Mike Kendon, the lead author of the latest UK State of the Climate report. This report found 2020 to be the third warmest, fifth wettest and eight sunniest on record.“

And BBC numpty-ninth in sciencey stats.

Then of course…. A sad passing: one Andrew Devine. No word on plans for anniversaries or statues.

And finally, some non-sport Olympic stuff…

Why cannabis is still a banned Olympics substance

Sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson will be missing the Tokyo Olympics because she tested positive for marijuana during the US Track & Field trials. With cannabis legal in many states across America, why is it still outlawed in sports? Considered the sixth-fastest woman in history, with a best-ever time for the 100m of 10.72, the Texas sprinter was expected to be a major contender for the Gold medal in Tokyo.

But when her teammates take to the track for the women’s 100m heats on Thursday, she won’t be there.

    Sixth fastest! Smoking’.

Linking legality somewhere with something should see that South African wife shooting bloke back in the running too if he can swing a Pakistani passport.

    • Guest Who says:

So, post Ms. Richardson, the BBC covers all the freebases.

      Clearly in their happy place.

Remember the story about the guys with the baggies waved through W1A security?

    • Up2snuff says:

Guest, I can hear Jim Carrey talking about quick athletes:

    • Banania says:

I never thought of marijuana as boosting energy and competitiveness. Rather, your opponents might be giving it to you, so that while you were all mellow and chilling out, and becoming bi-polar, they could streak to victory.

  19. Guest Who says:

    All becomes clear.

    • LastChanceSaloon says:

Simple solution to all this anti women behaviour.
Next Olympics, halve the number of events.
No “Marathon for Men” and “Marathon for Women”.
Just “The Marathon”, then it is all equal, for everybody.

London’s latest tourist attraction, the £2m Marble Arch Mound, is facing an uphill struggle in its first week of opening – with ticket-holders being offered refunds after complaints that it was incomplete.

“Ok, how about a fine or jail backed fee of £159.50 to watch the Olympics live elsewhere?”

  23. AsISeeIt says:

A short and sweet one this morning

In the news – Boodles jewel heist, oodles of gold medals haul

There’s a slighly through the looking glass feel to the serious news today, on a morning when the Guardian frets about the advisability of letting people come into the country on an unrestricted basis: ‘Opening England’s borders to let millions of travellers from the US and Europe avoid quarantine could risk new Covid varients being imported that might wreak havoc with the unlocking of domestic restrictions, ministers have been warned‘ – bloody foreigners, coming over here spoiling it for us locals, eh Guradianistas?

Goodness only knows how the Gruan will react when we open up to Africa and Asia – get set for an editorial along the lines of a Till Death Us Do Part script from about 1970.

But you can’t go accusing the Guardian of xenophobia or racism – some of their favourite films are black: ‘Blaxploitation salvation: the new generation reviving lost classics‘ – makes their frontpage as glowing references to black culture so often do -“Can you dig it?”

Don’t call me Gradma – it could break age-bias laws‘ – warns the Times.

No such quivering before the over-reaching face of PC sensibility for the Mirror: ‘Unlikely face of jewel raid. £4.2m Gran larceny. A crook aged 60 stole… diamonds after swapping them for pebbles… audacious scheming crook Lulu Lakatos

Lulu Lakatos….?! You couldn’t make it up – as old school Fleet Street hack Richard Littlejohn used to say.

In other news there’s a load of tosh about the Olympics and about the government vaccination drive but we’ve heard it all before… ‘Wayne’s apology to Coleen‘ (Sun) – yep, heard it all before, as Coleen Rooney ought to tell her Wayne.

Understatement of the day goes to a long-running TV talent show: ‘Simon Cowell, is axing the X Factor after 17 years. An insider said the singing contest had become “slightly stale”‘ (Sun)

With close competition for understatement from a critic of bonking epidemic apocalyptic computer modeller Prof Neil Ferguson: ‘Ferguson “overconfident” in Covid case claims, says top forecaster

The Guardian is backing nature – sort of: ‘The case for meat grown in a lab’, whilst the Times cautions potential eco warriors: ‘Bills set to rise by £400 a year to cover cost of net-zero target‘.

But don’t worry, the government will raise your income tax so as to subsidise your increased energy bills – so that’s alright then.

And finally, in the Daily Satyr – sorry I meant to type Daily Star… (but I do like to pop in the odd classical greek reference since Boris is PM) Anyway, the Star shares a notion I’m sure is dear to our PM’s heart: ‘Caprice: do NOT avoid sex

Model and businesswoman Caprice Bourret has given some old-fashioned advice to women everywhere, saying they just indulge their husbands as it is just “five to 10 minutes of your life”

5 to 10 minutes sounds quite optimistic… I wonder, has Prof Neil Ferguson run those numbers through his model?

    • Guest Who says:

      10 sodding minutes?

Has Ms. Bourret given no thoughts to the lads’ mental health given such pressure?

So about to become very brave on my birthday.

  24. digg says:

The Guardian seem to have realised that nobody is interested in their anti-Israel Pegasus spying fairy tale so have passed it over to their mates at the BBC. The BBC have decided to turn it into an “explainer” for the “Yoof” due to them desperately trying to attract any audience they can.

Usual tactics, unknown minor specialist roped in to try to impart some credibility….Vague insinuations with no facts……

I’ve learned in life that rich people always have a specific set of skills which make them the winners. Intelligence is not necessarily one of them. Being a wily, unpleasant b@st@rd without conscience is. That’s how they win.
As Johnny Cash sang : Only one rich man in 10 has a satisfied mind.

      • TrickCyclist says:

Did Bezos just recite something written for him by his PR people? It sounds awfully like it’s been cribbed from things said by proper astronauts who’ve actually flown in orbit, not just been on Bezos’ “up like a cannon ball, down like a cannon ball” ride (see The Right Stuff).
For example, this quote from Ulf Merbold, first West German in Space:
“For the first time in my life I saw the horizon as a curved line. It was accentuated by a thin seam of dark blue light – our atmosphere. Obviously this was not the ocean of air I had been told it was so many times in my life. I was terrified by its fragile appearance.”

TOADY Watch #2 – you know the world is going completely insane when …

…. an environmentalist and conservator comes on the TOADY Programme to talk about reintroducing an unsuitable animal to an unsuitable place to damage the things that we are told we need to absorb all of this CO2 that is heating the planet to boiling point.

Yes, JustRemainIn Webb is slightly sceptical but interviews a wimmin, who else, from The Wildwood Trust at Blean Woods in Kent. At least she is not a squeaky-voiced American woman. So that is a relief. She wants to introduce European (not American) Bison to Blean Woods where they will damage trees. Yes, honestly. That is the reason to introduce a plains animal, that roamed the open Steppes of Europe several thousand years ago to a woodland area in north Kent, where bison would have barely been thousands of years ago.

Justin was very concerned about public safety – bison can weigh up to a ton or tonne – so he asked about fences. There will be a double fence to keep these bison in their place, to stop them doing what bison normally do. Like all caged animals that would normally roam free they will show disturbed behaviour and damage their environment and eat and kill off trees.

‘Ere, ‘old on, wait a mo’, ‘ang abaht: aren’t trees absorbing all that evil CO2? and aren’t bison ruminents? Fartin’ methane which you tell us is far worse than CO2 for heatin’ the planet and full of CO2 just like a prime steak from a cow but only larger? Shouldn’t bison be put on the Naughty Step along with cows, pigs and sheep?

I check the calendar just in case: phew! Definitely 29 July, not 1st April.

CBBC Channel, Tuesday 8 June 2021

In a segment about vaccine approval for 12 to 15 year olds, a contributor claimed that the Pfizer vaccine is “100% safe”. This has been removed from the online article and video:

The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has said:

“We have carefully reviewed clinical trial data in children aged 12 to 15 years and have concluded that the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is safe and effective in this age group and that the benefits of this vaccine outweigh any risk.

“We have in place a comprehensive safety surveillance strategy for monitoring the safety of all UK-approved COVID-19 vaccines and this surveillance will include the 12- to 15-year age group.

“No extension to an authorisation would be approved unless the expected standards of safety, quality and effectiveness have been met.

“It will now be for the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) to advise on whether this age group will be vaccinated as part of the deployment programme.”

  29. JohnC says:

UK already undergoing disruptive climate change
    1) Why are the BBC making assertive headlines based on a paper not peer reviewed ?.
    2) Why does the article omit to inform us that the UK is responsible for less than 1 percent of carbon emissions ?.

I checked the authors twitter and the man is absolutely obsessed with climate change. But then he has to be : he’s out of a job if he can’t get work writing about it for people like the BBC.
And if you check the people behind the reports, their whole careers depend on climate change. The more there is, the more important they are. They have absolutely no financial interest in anything else.
My opinion is that climate change is real and it will happen whatever we do about it. We might spend 100 trillion on it and make the temperature in 50 years 49.9 degrees instead of 50.
But what these people will never tell us is that what we do in the UK is irrelevant – and China won’t pay them half as much to work over there where they should be if they really cared.

    • Tabs says:

Climate change is very real. Sea levels have risen 120 meters since 20,000 years ago. That is an average rise of 0.6cm every year or 0.6m every 100 years.

But for some strange reason the climate change cult seem to think sea levels should not rise any further and if they do it is the fault of capitalism.

Just had a quick scan through this webpage. I had noticed briefly about 36 hours ago mention from the BBC website about child abuse. Two reports – Lambeth child care I think – that was given some prominence. And Bradford – briefly given prominence then buried. Definitely I have evidence of the BBC burying the Bradford report. I noticed that Sluff mentioned the report and I think StewGreen mentioned the Lambeth report. I am just going to do a bit more checking regarding the BBC coverage (website) of those reports. If anyone would like to add something regarding this it will be much appreciated. I think we are about to go to the mid-week webpage soon (or end of week) – so I might repost this. Cheers

  33. Fedup2 says:

There was discussion here about the Lambeth report . The BBC managed not to mention –

The Labour Party control of Lambeth during the crimes

That the Labour Party had not apologised(if that means much )

There was no spokesman put up

The details of the crimes were not described

The involvement of Corbyn s ‘tribe

The class war the council fought in the 70s and 80s

( thankfully red ted knight is dead )

In short – the BBC treated it like the Muslim paki racist paedo rape gangs operating around the country with the consent of councils . Police politicians and CPS .

    Look squirrels

I will put a weekend thread up Friday afternoon . Some one will moan .

This is a question. The BBC creates a following webpage e.g. for London (see below). The webpage is split into pinned news item and a rolling news items. The rolling news here extends to 50 pages. My question is: how do I access the rolling news section separately (without the pinned stuff). The BBC used to allow this by opening a new page while clicking on the page 2 tab (for Example) – but now it doesn’t. Thanks.

  36. Doublethinker says:

I have just watched last night’s Wootton on GBN and was very surprised to hear such outright condemnation of the MSM silence over the attack at Speakers Corner on the Christian preacher almost certainly by a Muslim who wished to silence her. The guest was Bre nden O’Neil from Spiked and he was forthright in his condemnation of the MSM and the establishment as a whole for their silence over this attack and the one in Batley. Their silence is complicity in these and any and all future attacks as we begin to experience the next phase of Islamification.
After the launch of GBN I thought that were doing a good job but didn’t dare to venture into reporting and discussing issues such as mass immigration and Islamification. I have noted over the past week or so that they are now beginning to tackle such issues and applaud them for doing so.
I am surprised that Ofcom has not yet intervened and if GBN is allowed to continue without Ofcom censorship it begs the question why at least some sections of the MSM have remained silent over all the Islamic attacks over the years. Of course we don’t expect the likes of the BBC or Guardian to tell the truth but it is disappointing that outlets such as the Telegraph have chosen to remain silent and therefore complicit.

  37. Mustapha Sheikup al-Beebi says:

    From the Daily Telegraph on-line:

“Jodie Whittaker to quit Doctor Who”

“Writer Chris Chibnall also leaving, having been accused of making programme woke as ratings in 2020 slid to one of show’s worst in 58 years.”

    … … …

    As widely predicted here, IIRC.

  38. Foscari says:

Jodie Whittaker is leave “Dr Who” next year. For the sake of diversity the next Dr Who should be transgender. There could be some terrific scenes with the Daleks.

    • chancygardner says:

I recall that the Daleks never used the word ‘killed’ when issuing their threats. Always some fancy word that meant the same thing.

      *” You will be transgendered!!!”*

    • Northern Voter says:

You do realise that “according” to the Bloated Brussels Broadcaster, the Jodie Whitaker, was voted second best Doctor Who, after David Tennant. Who did they ask to come to this conclusion? Woke bastards.

      • JohnC says:

David Tennant is where it took a nosedive for me.
I really, really did try to enjoy it.
But it changed to utter sh1te for idiots or people under 12. Absolute nonsense.
The sinister thing about it is that it was a deliberate strategy to push the agenda training at children. Like they do in North Korea.

      • JohnC says:

In a Radio Times poll no less. Which will have the same readership as the BBC news site.
The top 4 doctors in their poll just happen to be the most recent 4. Yet they happily ignore this glaring statistic because the Left have no shame or ethical standards about what they will do to win.
On IMDB, Jodie comes in 16th and Tom Baker comes in third which I can much more readily accept than this farce which of course The Guardian laps up.

    • JohnC says:

It’s impossible to find an impartial review on the latest Dr Who. They all give it glowing reports then some excuses why people didn’t watch it.
My search found a list of all the Dr Who series by date and the average audience. With no knowledge of who did what when, I noticed they changed significantly from 2017 onwards.
So I searched on that and what a surprise : it’s the exact year Jodie took over. And that was with the most massive BBC advertising campaign I’ve ever seen. They had huge posters on billboards and on busses promoting it in Hull which is well out of they – so it must have been the same in every city of the UK. I wonder how much that agenda-promotion costs us.
I can’t see how the BBC can realisically put another woman or a black person in the role next. The backlash would be huge. But then they are absolutely capable of doing it through spite. After all – it doesn’t matter to them if it loses money. They get paid anyway.

      • Guest Who says:

Watched Florence Foster Jenkins last night.

There have been complaints about the new tourist attraction called the Marble Arch Mound, on the grounds that the views from the top are poor.

    I beg to differ.

The viewing platform gives excellent, ring-side views of muslims stabbing female Christian evangelists in the face in nearby Speakers’ Corner, while the police sit about filing their rainbow-coloured nails in their eco-friendly rainbow vegan police cars (leather free).

Turn your binoculars eastwards to Broadcasting House and you’ll see thousands of woke feminist BBC ‘researchers’ online, busily searching for cases of micro-aggressions against women, such as men opening doors for them and builders wolf-whistling. Meanwhile they studiously ignore the very real macro aggression that took place a stone’s throw away.

On a clear day you just might see Cressida Dick-less busily trawling social media for hurty tweets by those mythical White Supremacists. She’s never found one yet, but she’s sure they’re out there somewhere, because the BBC tells her so.

If you’re really lucky you might even catch a glimpse of Mayor Khant in City Hall refusing to make a public statement about the stabbing, despite questions being asked of him, and despite his famous commitment to free speech and women’s rights. I say, give the guy a break: his hands are full with gay zebra crossings and trans-friendly pedestrian lights. Blocking stop-and-search is a full-time job in itself.

And all that for less than the price of a zombie knife or a machete. I call that a bargain.

Not al beeb, or is it??

Apologies if this has been posted before. I realise the piece is 4 years old but it’s every bit as relevant today as it was then – moreso if one considers whether the bias would even be acknowledged today.

  43. Mustapha Sheikup al-Beebi says:

Former Chief Scientist Sir David King was allowed to spout environmental alarmism by Evan Davis on this evening’s ‘PM’ on Radio 4 without the slightest interruption. “We” will have to do this and that, he claimed, without ever defining who “we” are and whether “they” (e.g. China, India and others) will follow suit.

It’s got to something when MarkyMark (who posted here at 09:45, see above) provides better empirical data than the biased Sir David, supposedly a scientist but whose specialism was surface chemistry not atmospheric physics. Here are the big CO2 producers per Mark’s list – realistically, how many will come on board with reducing emissions?

“China, with more than 10,065 million tons of CO2 released.
United States, with 5,416 million tons of CO2.
India, with 2,654 million tons of CO2.
Russia, with 1,711 million tons of CO2.
Japan, 1,162 million tons of CO2.
Germany, 759 million tons of CO2.
Iran, 720 million tons of CO2.”

Another claim by King was that CO2 was at 500 ppm, compared to pre-industrial levels of 270 ppm. But Is this correct? I thought the generally accepted figure today was = / > 400 ppm. This has certainly been surpassed in previous history, long before humans began burning fossil fuels, and the 270 ppm figure from the later 1800s is chosen simply because it’s low and fits the agenda.

I’m willing to be corrected on this by anyone who knows about the subject, but King and Evan Davis’ interview were disgraceful.
