The maximum government funding available to any place of worship or associated faith community centre is £56,000 for the installation of the protective security measures.

The places of worship (PoW) protective security funding scheme is a government commitment in the 2016-2020 hate crime action plan. This scheme is intended to reduce the risk and impact of hate crime at places of worship and associated faith community centres.

Pitifully low sentencing in my hometown, where a girl lured her ex boyfriend to the woods where she had paid two feral scumbags to stab him out of money given to her as Christmas presents (I believe it was in the region of £140)

Everyone here in Reading knows their names, but are foridden to divulge them.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-berkshire-58666322

Three teenagers who killed a 13-year-old boy over a social media row have been sentenced to custody in young offenders institutions.

A girl lured Olly Stephens to a field in Reading, Berkshire, where two boys lying in wait stabbed him to death.

The boys, aged 14, were found guilty of murder following a trial at Reading Crown Court. One was sentenced to 13 years and the other to 12 years.

The girl, 14, admitted manslaughter and was given three years and two months.

None of them can be identified for legal reasons.

Judge Heather Norton told the three teenagers: “Whatever part each of you played – great or small – what you did that day was utterly cruel and totally pointless.

“You have taken one life, damaged your own futures and you have caused so much pain to so many people.

“The effects of what you did will stay with you and with Olly’s family forever.”

The judge added that the sentences would seem “unbearably short” to Olly’s family, but “unbearably long” for the defendants.

Olly’s killers believed he “grassed” on them to the brother of a boy they had mocked in a social media group chat, the trial heard.

Voice notes and text messages were presented to the jury in which the boys talked about taking revenge.

“He’s actually getting banged when I see him,” one message said.

Another added: “I actually hate the kid with a passion, like if I was to see him right now I’ll probably end up killing him or something.”

Omission is the greatest form of the lie …. BBC fail to mention that Merkel was AGAINST gay marriage.

“Many of the modernising features – such as same-sex marriage, phasing out nuclear energy, and welcoming immigration policies – would not be expected from a Christian Democratic chancellor.”

    Non BBC rant
Another trial involving teenage killers – where their identities cannot be made public .

I ask – how can that be ? They murdered another teenager – and left the parents bereft .

Yet the law protects them . Don’t get me wrong – I would hang them – aged 14 or not. – but not to even name them to the public ? No

    And they’ll be out within 5 .

Having a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing, but with the internet it can also lead you down the rabbit hole!

The media narrative on fuel shortages is a simple one, that a shortage of tanker drivers caused by Brexit is causing fuel shortages, this is a lie.

Popping onto a transport managers forum and reading the posts there by senior people, this is what you find, that tanker drivers are the best paid and the highest qualified in the industry and comments like they had not seen a tanker driver who was not White British in 40 years of being in the industry.r

This is seen as a well paid career where qualifications and certification are requirements of the job, starting salaries basic are in excess of £50K pa.

Many of the transport managers had on site bunkering of diesel and they were saying that despite them employing in house drivers, they could not get the fuel out of the refineries.

The problem was not with the number of drivers, but they couldn’t say exactly what the issue was.

There was a deal of speculation without any real facts to support it, but the one overwhelming comment was that there is no shortage of tanker drivers.

We are being lied to – again !

I see that Al Beeb is doing its bit by stoking up the panic buying of petrol.

Also , thanks to ‘B Liar’, too many kids being encouraged to go to yoounie and get an ‘ology degree’, instead of getting a real job and earning some money, as opposed to a financial rope around their neck.

This view from the beeb’s Chris Mason is highly misleading as the narrow High Street in Shoreham is always choc-a-block with traffic being on the main coast road between Worthing and Brighton. Any over spill on to the road from the petrol station will inevitably cause a massive tail back including, yes, some who do want petrol but many who don’t. The High Street is too narrow to get past the queue till you get closer to the petrol station itself.
The beeb and SKY relentlessly pushed this petrol “shortage” all day yesterday even though BP had said only a “handful” of their stations were closed. My hand only goes up to 5 digits which is hardly a major problem when BP have 1200 outlets to choose from!
Any shortage story like this just has people pushing the panic button and you get the impression this is exactly the reaction the media want to create.
I see Mason is on the QT recording tonight which is why he was in Shoreham, be interesting to hear how he spins it, not difficult to guess.

Back in August this year they were saying in the USA:

The U.S. has been grappling with a chronic lack of drivers for years, but the shortage reached crisis levels because of the pandemic, which simultaneously sent demand for shipped goods soaring while touching off a surge in early retirements. The consequences have been both dire and far-reaching: Filling stations have had gasoline outages. Airports have run short on jet fuel. A stainless-steel maker declared force majeure. And lumber prices hit a record, with some suppliers partly blaming delivery delays.

    Meanwhile:

“Despite reduced demand due to COVID-19, there is still an alarming shortage of drivers,” says the organization. “Surveying 777 road transport companies from 23 countries, the IRU found that [the] driver shortage was most acute in Eurasia, where last year 20% of driver positions were not filled. China was the least affected country in 2020 with only 4% of jobs open. Elsewhere, [the] driver shortage was less serious in 2020 than 2019 due to the pandemic. In Europe, unfilled driver positions fell by around three quarters, from 24% to 7% for truck drivers.”

If only the BBC had a disinformation reporter to check up on itself!

Shortages: BBC moves to reassure public

Following criticism over it’s reporting of national shortages, a spokesperson for the BBC has assured the public that there will be no shortages in the following areas and, in fact, supplies are expected to increase

Stories about how Brexit is to Blame For Everything ™
      Stories about permanently complaining wimmin’
Stories about how wonderful billionaires are

Stories about ethnic child rape gangs operating in Britain’s towns and cities
Stories about the financial support from Bill Gates to the BBC during the past 20 years

Those interested in the saga of Andrew Neil and GB News can read all about it in today’s DM, link below.

Andrew breaks down in tears mid-interview, apparently, and Mail journo Rebecca Hardy feels moved to hug him.

Aw, diddums (I hope there wasn’t any inappropriate touching).

A recurring theme in Andrew’s reminiscences here and elsewhere is that he absolutely didn’t want GB News to become like that horrible ‘fake news’ Fox.

Personally I think Fox News is precisely what this country needs, if only to balance-out all the other lefty broadcasters and give viewers a real choice.

GB News might be better off without Neil.
