Start the Week 15 November 2021

It seems Remembrance Sunday has seen another terrorist attack . Nothing is sacred . Will the BBC give it the coverage it deserves or do its’ normal censorship in the name of ‘community relations ‘ ?

Phew… the world’s most trusted professional media source is asking itself what it knows.

      Those darn vehicles again!

    With what?

    Just read Femi’s latest tweet.

Why is the media simply a collection of male and female lady parts who think they are worth paying to listen to?

    • MarkyMark says:

Mr Vine appears to have been using his ten-year-old daughter Martha to avoid tax payments. … In 2012, it emerged that more than 140 BBC stars were funnelling cash through private firms to avoid paying millions in tax.7 Mar 2015

  3. Emmanuel Goldstein says:

I can’t say I’m surprised that Boris is falling in the polls with the Tories.
The reason the Tories were voted in is overwhelmingly because they were see as the only viable party to get brexit done.
Now that it’s (sort of) done there’s little difference between the parties.

I would love Richard Tice to be voted in at the by election but we seem to only vote labour or Tory no matter what even though they are the same. The libdems being a mini protest vote.

What would it take to get a proper right wing party elected instead of all the left wing ones.
At least those parties on the right should get together to form a sort of coalition instead of taking votes off each other.

You would think now is a good time for lesser parties to increase their vote with everybody from the prime minister and her husband to all the others being looked on as bent and corrupt, in the pockets of the rich, second (and more) jobs and basically being in it for themselves.
They certainly don’t do what the population want, just look at the current channel invasion (only available on GB News)

If Tice somehow done really well it may just possibly be the beginning of the end for the current pile of crap where you can count the good ones on the fingers of one hand.

    • Thoughtful says:

It’s a one party state and those who are sensible enough to admit it know this to be true. The Brexit party gained 5.5 million votes at the last election and not one single seat meaning those people have no representation at all.

The only way is to either withold your vote or to vote for one of the extreme fringe parties to annoy the uniparty, however if you look at the scorn hate and disdain the uniparty poured on the voters who elected Nick Griffin to the EU parliament you would know these people HATE the electorate even when they vote for them !

      • G says:

I still think the only way to bring these wayward politico’s to heel in with a tax strike. Same for Europe (“our good friends and neighbours”). I did put this point to the Taxpayers Alliance some while back but they did not reply.

    • theisland says:

“At least those parties on the right should get together to form a sort of coalition instead of taking votes off each other.”

Unfortunately it won’t happen because some are more cowardly re e.g. the ROP than others and want to protect themselves from being called nasty names and being de-platformed. What they fail to accept is that this is happening/will happen to them anyway.

    • Zelazek says:

      That is the question.

I don’t know how we get a proper right wing party. However, I do think that when we see countries like Hungary and Poland adopt strong and successful policies on immigration and border control and have zero Islamic terrorism as a result, we at least begin to see solutions to problems that we thought insoluble. When we see popular and effective conservative politicians like Ron DeSantis in Florida, it can shake us out of our pessimism and despair and make us believe that strong leaders can emerge to free us from the woke madness.

Brexit and the election of Trump gave hope to conservative movements in other parts of the world. We in turn must keep an eye out for successful models and policies elsewhere, highlight them, and draw inspiration from them. A new party must have a vision that the electorate knows is not just desirable but achievable.

  4. dafydd says:

Strange how the BBC never publish opinion polls when the Tories are ahead but true to form they publish two polls with Labour ahead…

Left wing media starting to go quiet on sleaze since information starts to appear regarding the conduct of Labour, SNP and LIB DEM MP’s outside Parliamentary earnings. They’re all at it.

  5. Dover Sentry says:

I note that Mayor Khan says that London stands with Liverpool. What exactly does that mean? Pure Left Wing rhetoric that we hear every time.

I see that the driver is going to be the centre of media attention in order to deflect from the massacre that could have happened. (It is possible that the main charge failed to detonate).

    • Zelazek says:

It’s just been declared a terror incident as I write. I have still to hear the words “Muslim”, “Jihadi”, “Islam” or “Islamist” on the BBC regarding this, even in speculative talk.

  6. StewGreen says:

the ‘motivation’ for the Liverpool hospital explosion ‘is yet to be understood’ but that ‘it has been declared a terrorist incident.’

    LBC tweeted first at 11:21am
“Police say the attacker had an improvised explosive device which he built in the taxi. ”

  7. Dover Sentry says:

As its not Right Wing Terrorism, will it be declared by our BBC as being Left Wing Terrorism?
After all, the Left and their BBC mates support Palestine/Hammas and all the other Muslim causes.

  8. digg says:

The stunned “rabbit in the headlights” look on the faces of these two cops tells you all you need to know about how scared they are to point the finger at the likely perpetrators along with of course the BBC!

  9. micknotmike says:

Once I see bias, I see it in every little thing. The bbc normally go to great lengths to deflect any accusations of wrongdoing by muslims. Names and other details are withheld, permanently if possible, or at least until the story is off the front page. On this occasion, virtually the first thing they did was name the taxi driver and “praise” him for his heroic act in locking the doors of the cab before bailing out. Undeniable bravery and I would have been offski in a blink. I wouldn’t have thought about anybody’s life but my own.All credit to the man. Our impartial broadcaster, though, may as well have headlined “Cab driver thwarts brave jihad act; here’s his name so the enemy know who to look for”. If he comes to any harm the bbc will have blood on their hands. Someone should swing for this. It’s almost a job application for a bounty hunter.
    Get onto it today Boris.

    • Dover Sentry says:

That bomb went off two minutes before 11am. The camera timer is activated at the end of the clip. There was also a lot of shrapnel, possibly ball bearings, judging by the damage to adjacent cars. This can be seen in stills elsewhere.

  12. Fedup2 says:

Maybe the BBC needs a bit of positive news to distract people from suspected Islamic terrorism . So what about shell oil moving from Holland to the UK ( subject to approval )? …

….I recall a project fear story before the referendum about companies moving from UK to mainland EU … peddled by the anti British BBC ….

  13. digg says:

    The Guardian:

We need a new observatory of democracy in the Americas

This reveals that the authors are in fact activists for an organisation called Progressive International

It take seconds on their website to realise they are basically full-blown communists calling for a Global Marxist revolution, redistribution of wealth to their most supporting and currently poor nations and the end of private capital which they would then head up to control the entire globe.

    Salient statement:

“The Progressive International convenes activists, thinkers, and practitioners to develop the principles and policies of a progressive international order.”

It all has a distinct whiff of Soros about it.

Listed in their member’s list is none other then Mr Jeremy Corbyn!

This will probably be the next World War.

    The Guardian? anything but!

    • digg says:

Where the Guardian lead, the BBC staff readership are never very far behind which in this case explains much about their thinly disguised hatred for everything Nationalist, British, Conservative and White.

The BBC has learned. Labour has called. There will be a vote in the House this afternoon and Owen Paterson will be hung, drawn and quartered by his Party, the Conservatives. So many Conservative MPs were upset at being whipped to vote against Kathryn Stone’s report into their fellow MP that it is certain that many will abstain or be absent from the House for the debate and vote or this time may vote to accept the report.

    Oh yeah!

  21. vlad says:

The BBC video clip of the Liverpool car explosion carries the trigger warning that it contains scenes “which some viewers may find disturbing”.
Elsewhere, YouTube is full of warnings that some viewers may find the footage distressing.

Au contraire, the sight of the car blowing up with the bomber locked inside cheered me up no end.

The only people likely to find it ‘disturbing’ or ‘distressing’ are members of a certain ‘community’. Oh, and BBC staff. May their distress be mighty.

    • dafydd says:

Nothing distressing about it..i would have appreciated a close up of the scumbag frying in his car.. Nothing better than a terrorist own goal

      Happy days..

  22. pugnazious says:

LOL….Shell to move HQ to UK….not a single mention of Brexit in this BBC report… different to the time when companies were saying they might move and the BBC always headlined with #DUETOBREXIT!!!![Even when the company denied the move had anything to do with Brexit]….we don’t even get the infamous ‘despite Brexit’….

  23. pugnazious says:

So we know the number of people arrested and their ages and where they live……just not any clue whatsoever as to their nationality, religion or race….or not from the BBC anyway….the Telegraph and Mail reveal….

‘Liverpool bomber was of Middle Eastern background and not known to MI5 ‘

The BBC’s ‘what we know so far’ dodges that completely….

If it had been a white Christian the BBC would have let us know immediately and proclaimed the person of the ‘Far-Right’…and a Trump supporter.

Will the BBC investigate the Liverpool taxi driver?

    – There have been reports that he thought the passenger looked suspicious: was that racial profiling, and if so, isn’t it a hate crime?

    – He is alleged to have locked the bomber in his cab. Isn’t that murder?

    – He probably voted Brexit.

The BBC should get a team of crack investigators on it immediately.

    • BRISSLES says:

Apparently the taxi driver’s wife wrote on Facebook that her husband is at home resting, and coming to terms with what happened. She indicated that there were a lot of rumours and myths flying about, that he is a hero and him locking the perpetrator in the taxi, but she makes it appear that didn’t happen, but he was lucky to get out of the taxi alive – which really wouldn’t give him time to think about doing anything other than getting out of a car that’s on fire. Basically like the rest of us would.

      • Thoughtful says:

I think when someone starts shouting for Alans snack bar you know it’s time to get away ASAP.

I don’t call it sleaze, that spinword implies they stole money

Just MPs that largely started their own businesses, that earned big money from customers,
and the MPs paid themselves big money.

  39. JohnC says:

As we all now know the terrorist was from the Middle East and unknown to MI5, I wondered if the BBC had actually added that to their article yet.

Nope. Not only are they keeping that quiet for as long as they can, I find it incredible that such a lengthy article can totally avoid the subject of the attacker and his motivation. They don’t go anywhere near it.

What a complete farce the BBC is. I’m quite certain that when they hear there has been a bomb, they really, really hope it was someone on the far-Right.

  40. Thoughtful says:

I have to say it’s amazing just how quickly the Gestapo can respond to arrest terror suspects AFTER an event has taken place. Why is it not possible to arrest them prior to the attack, if they have so much intelligence?

  41. The Mouse says:

Definition: Phobias are more pronounced than fears. They develop when a person has an exaggerated or unrealistic sense of danger about a situation or object.

I do not suffer from any ‘phobia’s’, all of my fears are well grounded in factual and historic events, they can can be substantiated with evidence and are not exaggerated. Not least the fear of people who have a long history of harming people like me.

Now, I would have to be an absolute idiot to not have a ‘healthy’ fear of someone who has a long history of harming someone like me. I would have to be an even greater idiot to believe anyone who tries to convince me otherwise. This is definitely not a phobia.

I laugh when they keep saying the motivation is unclear. The motivation is ALWAYS the same: The ideology of violent jihad and the subjugation of non-Muslims in accordance with the teachings of Mohammed.

New EU Directive BBC Programme Labels – for a new transparent and accountable and gender fair BBC

“I, Jeremy Vine, cost the public £750K* per year which is the equivalent to 21.5 nurses on £35K, declare that I have no other incomes derived from my broadcasting at the BBC. I have declared all my expenses and registered all gifts on the BBC expenses website. I, Jeremy Vine on this 30 minutes of show, with production time of 2 hours at an hourly rate of £1153 cost you the public £2884*. This does not include the studio and team wages. All monies I make from my ‘BBC Brand’ go back into the BBC. I follow the BBC guidelines – not giving my opinion on subjects that I know little about on twitter, facebook. If I do give an opinion then they are 100% in agreement with the BBC and have been approved by the BBC at time of publishing. Please note that reading out this EU compliant notice just cost you, the public enforced to pay my wages under threat of prison, a total of £76*.”
