You never know how the day will end

Walking from car park to supermarket a bunch of teenagers approaching

First two girls smiling walking together straight into me so I had to stop and edge away

next 6 males walking abreast saying to eachother “dont budge no space for him”

They sorely misjudged my strength as they barged into me the biggest one ended up with his drink in his hand all over himself

then had them following me threatening, swearing and approaching fists raised one kicking me when I turned my back, turn again and like rats they back off

Went to the store and suspected they will be waiting outside so went to the security guard who had a bodycam and they were indeed waiting outside

Suddenly they realised security had a bodycam and all had their phones filming me as they accused me and butter would not melt with their apparent reasonableness as they accuse ME of assaulting them, and when I told them what I thought of what they did to me one had the temerity to say (all recorded by them) “please don’t swear”

You should have heard their language when they attacked me which they did not record

My thoughts are with the poor sods bullied like this at whatever school they attend who will not be able to defend themselves

Litte bloody monsters each one, my only satisfaction is the biggest one, about 15/16 years old, and the ringleader, looked a bit of a twat in front of the two girls trying and failing to barge me aside and getting soaked in the process

Tesco have CCTV and the one that kicked me is the same one that I noticed during community work with the school and he went barmy attacking the teachers and three grown men had to restrain him, cest la vi

but i walked out with the security guard with a webcam

the only admiration I have is the speed the little shit then ran away from me as I turned, Usain Bolt would have given him a nod I suspect

SG I agree with your sentiments but one never quite knows how one reacts to a situation like this, I have been lucky that this is the first time attacked by a bunch of feral teenagers, I may not show it to them but was really upset by it, adults should not be forced into having to potentially physically fight for nothing especially with teenage schoolyard bullies when walking to a shop

Luckily my strength when butted into and then body language and voice was enough to face them off but I saw them do the same to one other before me

A few years ago maybe the community would do something, today, I strongly suspect the parents or parent would do anything to support them and attack me, the shop itself is a haven for these and it is not the first time t has happened by a long chalk according to the store security

but the third time someone physically mugged me, I had complete control. So even though it was in Ecuador and two of them had hold of me, I was still able to get away.

The fourth time was in Albania. I stepped back took the phone out spoke in Albanian. and they scarpered.

Yes I am that way now,I agree with your disbelief because this is the consequence of crime that is not commonly acknowledged, I was hurt a little so what I was also possibly facing knives I knew not what but its been many hours now and I STILL feel angry and upset and I am so angry but also disappointed that teenagers would act that way to adults in the supposed first world civilised society

They were not poor, starving they had just come out of the Costa coffee shop attached to Tesco, teenagers all with 2 3 pound takaway coffees, They were all well clothed, nice haircuts, just spite

Oh but the one that walked directly into me had a hot chocolate in his hand so maybe thick as shit as he never got to taste it

They were lucky in a way because if I was with my wife and they did that I would probably be in jail now

That’s ridiculous Stew, I’ve never tried to be macho in my life, if you knew me you’d know how crazy that sounds, but I’ve never been intimidated by gobby teenagers either, they’re always cowards who run away when you face them down anyway.

Ok, there’s some who might be carrying knives, or some mean little bastards spoiling for a fight you’d be best to avoid, but that’s not what Zephir was talking about here, and I’m pretty sure most of us could size up a bunch of kids and make a sensible judgement call on that one.

Personally, I think Zephir was right to stand up for himself, my mother (all of 5’2″ and nearly 80) was involved in a confrontation with some angry, foul-mouthed teenage girls who tried to snatch her bag a couple of years ago. Apparently they threatened her and spat at her, but she stood her ground, and they cleared off, if she can do it, anyone can, and if people don’t they’ll only get worse.

The advice from the plod was that no one is ever prosecuted for defending themselves, so long as they don’t use a dangerous weapon, and don’t keep attacking someone who is injured, or running away.

@bbc thank you, I am still angry about what happened, and it seems it is “something” on one of their social media things, a “challenge” to attack and they were also in the car park trying to film my car as I left

they are angry as they did not get the result they wanted ie to intimidate me

what they fail to understand is common assault and I will be looking for them also, not just for injury but the upset they caused

Found this on one of their social media outlets which explains what the ringleader said, he precisely used the phrase “no budge” to his mates which is strange but a lttle search has revealed but this related to one person not 6 walking abreast:

    About

The No Budge Walk, also known as the No Budge Challenge, is an internet challenge that started on TikTok in November 2021. The person performing the challenge is tasked with walking through a crowd of people who are heading in the opposite direction of them without straying from a straight line. This results in the person bumping into a lot of people, sometimes making them angry.

    Censored by the BBC:

The COVID Vaccine would not be regarded as a vaccine by Edward Jenner. A Vaccine would induce immunity to a disease, by inoculation. But Dr Peter Doshi, associate editor of the British Medical Journal, pointed out that the Merriam Webster dictionary changed its definition of ‘vaccine’ earlier this year because mRNA products did not meet the definition of ‘vaccine’. He went on to say “How would you feel about mandating Covid vaccines if we didn’t call them ‘vaccines’? What if these injections are called drugs instead”

I read that manufacturers refused to produce the so called vaccines unless they were given legal immunity from prosecutions. Its also possible that just like in the Soviet Union, scientists under political pressure, have produced experimental products that duplicate some aspects of the disease that they are supposed to protect people from.

Data provided by the UK Health Security Agency shows that infection rates are higher in the vaccinated than the unvaccinated in all age groups from 30 upwards. This could be because the only people who are immune from COVID are those unvaccinated people who caught COVID and recovered from COVID.

Data from the Medicines & Health Regulatory Agency, Yellow Card reporting system published on 11th November indicates that there have been 1,261,714 adverse reactions to the vaccines, including strokes, skin disorders, thrombosis and anaphylaxis. 1,766 people are reported to have died.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said “Dr Fauci’s suppression of early treatment and off-patent remedies was responsible for up to 80 percent of the deaths attributed to COVID”

The two largest funders of WHO, are the United States under Dr Fauci, and Bill Gates.

But I just wonder if finally, finally, the penny is dropping.

By pumping tens of billions into the NHS, Boris has detoxified the Tories as an anti NHS party.

And therefore there may now be a portion of the population that can no longer blame the pisspoor performance of the NHS on ‘Tory underfunding’ but might just look critically at the hopeless, outdated, unreformed , entitled institution for what it is.

Sadly, even on this highly esteemed website, plus votes for these opinions are still thin on the ground so it’s going to be a long hard slog, but things may just be starting to move in the right direction.

Despite working in it for several years, my recent surgical stay showed me how the system has further deteriorated. Abdominal surgery and sent home after 2 nights with a handful of fresh dressings as the only aftercare. Old bloodstains on the floor of the patient toilet (which us ladies complained off many times). We then discovered that it was a very laid back male cleaner with no sense of urgency (leave it to your imagination). Thankfully am on the mend, a visit to the surgery nurse checked my wounds, and the cold I caught in hospital is now subsiding.

Its scary being in hospital – aside from being ill. My fear was being put with the frail and the bewildered, but thankfully only one met that criteria – a lady who was clearly born at the start of Prohibition, and ranted in Italian (she didn’t know English after 53 years living here). Mussolini would have been proud.

Nick Robinson had a very fawning programme with Chris Bryant, the gay Labour MP ..whose wedding he was at.

Aside from not really tackling accusations of corruption against him from the past.
at one point Bryant said “Boris wants CULTURE wars.. a trick he has learnt from Trump
I’m a gay man and culture wars means gays, Jews, blacks are picked on when a POPULARIST government gets into power”
    ..hangon that’s all rhetorical spin
Bryant is playing the VICTIM !
Culture wars come about cos Marxists use minorities as a stick to hit conservatives such that majority groups like straight white men and conservative women are removed from having EQUAL rights and are treated as second class.
It is not about removing equality from any other group.
Bryant is using the trick of misrepresentation
ie building a strawman to attack.

Three course rant for Sunday breakfast edition

Here we go, presumably to take our minds off things, it’s Prince William puff piece Sunday.

The BBC has him emoting away like a good millennial man child: ‘Prince William reveals emotional toll of air ambulance rescues

There was a time when BBC blokes, like John Noakes, might happily – with the minimum of health and safety assessment – sample exciting man jobs, such as crewing a chopper, climbing Nelson’s column, or training for the Cresta Run with an RAF four-man bobsleigh team – and if things went a bit pear-shaped on the day, he could boast of his physical bruises.

William’s mental health crisis… engulfed by a dark cloud of depression‘ – frets the Mail on Sunday. Buck your ideas up, man!

Turns out he’s still a mummy’s boy at heart: ‘Prince William’s touching childhood memories of Diana in intimate chat‘ (Sunday Express) – I’m sure his PR team regard all this amateur hour psychiatrist’s chair baloney as a press coup.

Frankly, he’s a very privileged, early balding midwit, born with a massive golden spoon stuck up his behind, and his advisors ought to explain to him that posy pandering to lefty sentiments will inevitably fall as flat as his young fogey flat cap.

I start the week by rocking out to AC/DC” he tells the Sunday Telegraph. Which must be about the only newspaper title who’s residual readership still reckon that’s in any sense trendy. The epitome of a sad dad band. Hair Metal compensation for the bloke who keeps his country tweed flat cap on so as to save the photographers having to deal with the glare off his shiny pink pate – as his prior big PR session’s briefing memories of cosy global warming alarmism still pass through his brain.

He told Apple’s “Time to Walk” series which encourages people to take a stroll to help their well-being…‘ – complete and utter corporate mumbo-jumbo.

Alternatively, the Observer offers us: ‘Faces of the year‘ – I suppose they couldn’t hold off on the end-of-year-round-up page filler for much longer. ‘The people of 2021 tell their stories‘ – in other words the celeb PR teams have been working overtime.

What a face the Guardian on Sunday presents – from the cover page of the Observer and through the curtain of her blond fringe peers the mardiest-looking overgrown gloomy goth teen imaginable. One Billie Eilish – that’s a girl. A face that simply screams “Whateva!

I’ve gotten a lot more proud of who I am” – she’s American. One imagines the fame, celebrity, wealth and attention helped out there, luv?

So what’s your story? What was your problem – because if you didn’t have some issue, label, condition, campaign to push, past trauma… then we’re wasting our time with this interview, right?

The British Vogue cover… exploded the internet, largely because of the Eilish-directed photoshoot – the green-and-black-haired, shorts-wearing punk everyone knew had suddenly turned into a blond, pink-corseted, Marilyn Monroe-esque bombshell.

Girl Power! And a bit of market re-orientation.

This interview: ‘We’re speaking over Zoom from her home in Los Angeles‘ (natch) is laced with such gems of try hard hip right on phraseology as: “super-worried”; “food justice”; “I try my best to f*cking help the world, because, jeez, why not?” ‘You’re allowed to change‘ and ‘her voice hardens against the haters

‘... warts-and-all documentary, Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry, documenting her early years, which came out in February. When Eilish saw it she “literally sobbed all the way through it”. Why? “To see how young I was then and how much was going on and what I dealt with and coped with. I was also being proud of myself and also pitying myself and also being kind of envious of that girl, the 16-year-old me who was just so fearless and carefree.” She catches herself. “I had to snap out of it!”’

    So snap out of it!

If anyone can please explain what exactly the Sunday Mirror is on about then I’d be most grateful.

The Labour-supporting Mirror has spent the week clutching at the straw: ‘No 10… throwing a party’

Starmer is perhaps bit leary of going too lockdown-hard and so we have found a couple of human shields for this attack on the Tories: ‘Our loved ones died while No 10 partied… Beryl and Elaine died alone last year‘ – but if you really want lockdowns and think they are a real thing then surely more elderly people locked alone in their own homes or isolated in care homes by the regulations – for which you are constantly advocating – will inevitably die alone – so, which is it?

I am banging my head against a wall to try and understand
why there is increased Anti-Semitism in the UK. There
has been much rapprochement between Israel and many
Arab States over the last few years. Israel has the best of
relations with India. And in any case Jews in the UK
don’t agree with all of Israel’s policies. Where can
this Anti-Semitism attacks come from ? I am mystified.
The extreme far right? Maybe there is still a small degree
of Nazi hangover. But then even Tommy Robinson is a
    friend of Israel.
We hear Mehdi Hassan the esteemed TV presenter tell us
on Question Time that Anti-Semitism is the dirty little secret
for Muslims. But I reiterate its not all Muslims. I am scratching
my brain . Are there any clues?
Could the latest poster boy for the BBC Azeem Rafiq give us
a clue? Surely Muslims of Pakistani heritage could not be
a reason. Ok Pakistan doesn’t recognize Israel and despise
Israel. But how could this have anything to do with the British
Pakistani community in the UK? It’s like saying that most of
the grooming and raping of women and girls comes from
    the same folk.
Has the change of demographics changed in the UK so much
so that the increase of attacks has anything to do with it ?
I am as confused as I am, with where most of the knife crime
and deaths come from. I am not sure that I am in agreement
with the BBC London Programme that it is mostly depravation,
the police and the Toreeees who are the prime causes.
    It’s all very confusing , isn’t it?

You probably did not mean it, but the juxtaposition of “extreme far right” and “Nazi” to the name of Tommy Robinson may, to some unthinking people, suggest a connection. TR emphatically could not be called either of those things, even if they represented a significant reality in this country, which they don’t.

Sopel has written a piece in the Daily Mail about America Trump & Biden which throws into the spotlight his distorted deluded view (or maybe it’s lies) about the political history and current affairs of the USA.

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-10275207/JON-SOPEL-tells-savoured-day-Trumps-presidency.html

    For instance:

“Biden has made strenuous efforts to lower the political temperature, and in his view, at least, is far less polarising than Trump.”

Biden has made not one iota of effort to lower political division, and even left wing commentators will admit to that. He promised in the campaign to do so, but once in office has done the opposite. The only way in which he is less polarising is the unity of people opposed his presidency.

“But America’s chaotic departure from Afghanistan, the perception that the far Left of the Democratic Party holds too much sway, and dissatisfaction over people being told they have to be vaccinated have all contributed to a slump in his approval ratings.”

This is not true, although it has certainly added to the approval ratings, but the most important factor, Sopel like many wealthy left wing elitists has not been affected by the rampant inflation which is affecting working class Americans. Inflation is probably the biggest single cause of the disapproval of American voters.

These were just a couple of paragraphs which stood out to me, but the whole article carries a tone of Sopels bias and inability to connect with the real America outside of Washington DC.
I wonder if he travelled to the catastrophic West coast cities of Seattle Portland, Los Angeles to see the collapse of civilisation there because of politics which he supports and fails to criticise or report the failure.
It’s an interesting insight into the mind of a man who surely knows what is going on but cannot admit it either to himself or his readers.

Behind the scenes the emir of londonistan has been losing the plot – with the bus /tube system running out of money . Tube drivers are now regularly going on strike .

The emir has floated the idea of closing at least one tube line and dumpling a lot of bus routes if nut nut doesn’t bail him out again .

Meanwhile the emir is closing down most of London s roads so that millennial can casually cycle to their coffee shops and safe spaces .
I drive a car , a motor bike and sometimes a push bike – but to me the hostility towards the car is driving people to insanity – plus – of course he has just hit Londoners with a £12.50 failing charge for using cars maybe older than 6 years on their on roads . This hit me as mine is over 10 years old …..

Recently the emir admitted that one of the reasons he is running out of money is because the new congestion charge isn’t catching as many as they planned for – proving it wasn’t about the ‘environment ‘ but was about just making money to feed the bloated city hall .

As I said – this may be a local issue – but I don’t think the national BBC will touch it at all …

‘Have you heard of Mary Seacole?’ asks BBC presenter to another BBC [black] presenter…’Yes…the nurse of all nurses’

Slapping a couple of bandages on some troops in the Crimea hardly bears comparison to the huge achievements of Florence Nightingale as she re-invented nursing and care in hospitals.

The BBC’s narrative about Mary Seacole is fake news…almost entirely invented and exaggerated in order to make Black people feel better by claiming achievements they just haven’t made….Black History only began with white people….if we hadn’t gone to Africa they’d still be in mud huts stabbing each other with spears….their history, their advancement had stopped…they were frozen in time just as much as those ‘lost’ tribes in the jungles of the Amazon or Indonesia were.

Any achievements Blacks have made is on the back of European culture, civilisation, science, technology, education, industry, laws and character. The BBC likes to say we owe everything to the so-called Golden Age of Muslim Science[the librarians of the Greeks, Babylonians and indians] so in a similar vein let’s hear them tell Blacks they owe everything to white people….lol….no colonisation no Black advancement….they should be thanking us not attacking us.

We know the BBC hates Christianity and Christmas is the peak hate period….guarantee the BBC will broadcast some anti-Christian pap just as they do at Easter….but curiously no similar anti-Islam tracts at times of Muslim festivals. Christmas is a horror story for the BBC….apart from being ‘Christian’ it’s also a time of giving…and thus, oh the horror!, buying….it’s consumption gone mad, capitalism rampant…..and so ungreen with all those tacky and environmentally ruinous cards being sent…stop it!

You have the suspicion that covid is also being used by some to shut down Christmas and make it less appealing…break the cycle enough times and people will start to move onto other things and Christmas will soon be forgotten by most.

The BBC of course loves lockdowns for so many reasons….it provides the excuse to impose so many rules, regulations and restrictions that the BBC has always hankered after on issues close to its heart…environmentalism, capitalism, Christianity, anti-meat veganism and allowing the Swamp to take back control from the ‘Deplorables’ and to crush them and any dissent….your freedoms, to live, to move, to think, to voice your opinions, to just spend and consume what you want are all being stolen from you….and the BBC, far from objecting or raising concerns, is at the forefront of the moves to do this.

Arabs are hairy…would it be hairy?….and would it be ‘British’?…a bit of a worry as all British children are psychopaths she tells us.

Guess a trip to the re-education centre on the cards.

She is of Arab extraction, so no, it wouldn’t be British. I haven’t seen her husband; I don’t know his name either, but I reckon I could put a pretty close photofit together.

While the Biden Broadcasting Corporation keep up the pretence (lie) that all is well at the White House, even CNN has had to admit that VP Harris’ team is completely dysfunctional and everyone hates her. Her few remaining supporters are claiming this is all because she’s a black woman.

Who knew there was so much racism and sexism among the uber woke Dems? Tut tut.

    World at One watch

Ritual moaning by Medical Mafia about their inability to run the NHS . All those highly paid – self regarding types who can’t sort their organisation out year after year – however much additional taxpayers’ cash is thrown at .

They have capacity for diversity advisors and layers of management which year after year fails – but hasn’t the capacity to deal with ill people .

Then – it ran an unchallenged Tony Blair about the need to vaccinate the world – because SA was the first to spot the latest brand of Chinese virus .
There was no question that it might have originated somewhere else .

Blair much prefers talking about ‘world problems ‘ instead of British ones – he must still have an ambition to get the top UN job – the opportunities for corruption there must be very attractive .

TWoTWeeee addendum – its not just the NHS bosses, Fed

There is a UK governance convention that Government Ministers always protect their Civil Servants, they do not blame the Civil Servants when mistakes are made, when things go wrong the Civil Servants are not held accountable. I think this convention should now be done away with.

In Kent, despite the ever increasing population – well it is a great place to live, especially west Kent where I am not, unfortunately – the Civil Serpents wished to close a major hospital in East Kent.

      Yes, honestly.

We have massive homebuilding going on across the county, especially in the east of the county. You need hospitals in that situation because housbuilding presents dangers to the workforce on site. Despite that increasing population, despite the home building, at the Department of Health the Civil Serpents wished to cut six major hospitals down to five in East Kent and I think there may have been plans to reduce bed capacity in at least one of the others.

It is time for the elected Government of the day to start hanging out some of these Civil Serpents to dry. Cummings knows it. Patel knows it. The PM knows it. But still they do nothing about the real problem in the UK.

Spiked : “The Muslim Council MCB has defamed me as a promoter of ‘fringe Islamophobic ideas’.
The MCB says the fact I was allowed publicly to muse over the possibility that ISIS is a tad fascistic highlights the ‘inherent danger’ of allowing voices like mine into the mainstream media.

I’d said on Sky News, ‘it is very rare that you hear the word fascism used in relation to Islamist extremists’

High time this insidious organisation is banned, any casual perusal will highlight that there is a hidden side that one has to be “approved” to access

      Any ideas why ?

before they became the insidous website they are now, they were promoting “how to complain to the media” weekend seminars

So any stories in the media about muslim criminals will be subject to thousands of complaints by muslim apologists

We are not a muslim country and media in my opinion has the right to identify the culture and religion of criminials whos crimes are committed as a direct result of their culture and religion

Asking for a friend, of course, could you possibly confirm how many centimetres your far left racist journalists’ noses are inserted up muslim arses ? My friend understands you have to hide racist attacks and mass gang rapes in local news of course but is confused as the the physical incapabilty of doing so whilst tounging Joe Bidens balls Any confirmation of how your self proclaimed “world class” journalism is achieved despite the rest of the world reporting your local news as headlines is appreciated

Returning to England from France . The passenger locater form is not only badly designed, it scarcely functions, refusing to accept your passport details and so on. Here is a tip. Make sure you have two or more email accounts and when it jams on one switch to another. I managed it and avoided having to return by a Priti Patel dingy

I sympathise. I too have had endless times trying to complete that form . The one i have to fill out for the country to where i might be voyaging this week is equally complex .

I reckon the EU will follow the UK with pre travel PCR tests – but i hope it comes in after i go …..

What do you think is the most important thing going on in the world at the moment? The BBC want you to know that it’s the wimmin’s FA Cup Final. Who knew? You couldn’t make it up. Unless it’s the BBC of course, who frequently do.
