I’ve been watching the absolute shambles on BBC of the
Metropolitan police’s handling of the four murders of
four young gay men. I suppose the only light at the end
of the tunnel for the hierarchy of whoever picks Cressida
Dick’s successor. And she is likely to be the head of the Met
until she retires herself . Because she is untouchable, is that they
can chose a police officer of the same ilk as Dick. Like the
promoted officers who handled these four murder
    “investigations” in Barking.

      The Metropolitan police
      .. zealous against none-woke tweeters
      .. not-zealous against SERIAL KILLERS

… “Yes I’ll bail you sir, cos we’ve got Twitter to police”

It is a bit strange that an outfit which has prided itself on its effectiveness at homicide investigations turn out to be so inexcusably crap .
No one -at any level seems to being held responsible and the ‘independent complaints thing needs to be looked at for its ‘failure to hold plod to account . …

But is a way it’s warming to see such woke lefty organisation being shown up again and again …

    Heard of section 230 ?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Section_230

Section 230 allows people like the owners of this site impunity if I were to write something grossly defamatory or inflamatory, or grossly offensive. It allows site owners to remove posts with impugnity, or at least that’s the intention.

However as ever the Left have abused or twisted this well meaning law into censorship and have used it to shut down freedom of speech, hence there is a campaign to reform or repeal the decision

If you aren’t aware of this there’s probably a reason =- the media don’t want you to know because they like things the way they are.

Praise where praise is due, even for the BBC. 😉

On Monday there was an excellent Thought for the Day on the BBC R4 TOADY Programme. It was by Jayne Manfredi and it is available here to download or merely to listen for the first time or again.

    Highly recommended.

Up2 -pardon me – but anyone who turns up on the BBC and mentions God -Christianity – and Jesus Christ – with reference to Christmas – isn’t gonna get a repeat gig . ….

And on that note – it’s time to launch the weekend ‘party special ‘ thread
