An outfit called the Good Law Project seem to be a player behind the “partygate” accusations and are apparently trying to persuade the police to investigate and take legal action.

    https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/jan/11/met-police-no-10-lockdown-parties

A quick look at their website suggests that they are unsurprisingly well endowed with Labour and left-leaners.

This is a threatening culture we are importing from the US where increasingly democratic force is being wrested from the actual government into the hands of pseudo-legals who are effectively ghost politicos with political aims.

The first thing i would ask is “How are The Good Law Project” financed, lets see their accounts?

We never voted for these people and it is fundamentally wrong if they are acting politically against Parliament on behalf of any political organisation!

If this is tolerated we could see the situation developing, as in the US where external actors like Big Tech, Globalists etc. who are prepared to put up finance are able to exert legal pressure to influence what should be democratic processes.

The Mail alleges it was Cummings who revealed the Email, and whilst the ‘Good Law Project’ may have taken up cudgels against Johnson if they succeed in getting rid of him they will only have managed to shoot themselves in the foot. In face if they want Labou8r in power they should be moving heaven and Earth to keep him in position.

But then the left never have been the sharpest tools in the box with not one single success story to point to save the ending of lives which they have excelled at.

The bbbc needs to be careful because if they succeed in getting rid of Boris they might find his replacement isn’t so bbbc friendly.
They will also be losing another close friend on the far left as Carrie will have to go.

Wouldn’t it be something if Boris’ replacement stopped the bbbc licence.

The bbbc should be trying as hard as possible to keep the two lefties in number 10 because any replacement will be to the right of them.

Interesting to see thje levels of comfort Ex BBC types believe they should be able to live within.

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10389445/Ex-BBC-exec-sued-five-star-Mandarin-Oriental-hotel-Hyde-Park-740-000-unpaid-bill.html

Jason Blain, 51, booked a £4,275-a-night penthouse at the Mandarin Oriental for six days – but stayed for eight months.

He is accused of still owing £731,500 of a £1.25million bill, alongside other fees such as £55,000 in service costs, £30,100 for valet parking and £25,497 for room service.

Mr Blain, who worked as BBC Worldwide’s business development chief in the 2000s

    A £1.25 million hotel bill?

OK it looks like JASON HECTOR BLAIN
      https://companycheck.co.uk/director/916102232/MR-JASON-HECTOR-BLAIN/summary
Who was a branding whizz at BBC Worldwide
eg licencing BBC material to mobile phone corps
then worked as “head of strategy for Sony Entertainment”
then got into this property idea corp Regeneration UK
but now his 24 directorships are in companies that are £60m in debt compared to their assets
They say that this corp called Regeneration UK could make billions if it gets off the ground.
but the story is 10 years old now
      https://www.standard.co.uk/business/on-property-whirlwind-brains-and-the-outsider-are-a-winning-trio-6422435.html

An almost audible snort of disdain came from property insiders on July 1 when Housing Minister Grant Shapps endorsed a £3 billion plan drawn up by three outsiders to build 20,000 rented homes.

Jason Blain, a 41-year-old Scot, who says Sadek is “the talent”, perhaps because he comes from the talent management world. The former global head of strategy for Sony Entertainment and BBC Worldwide runs a business investing in music, technology and now, perhaps, property.

    Good news for us all.
Covid cases are 120,000 today. The lowest since the 27th December. And about half of the 218,000 peak last week.

I wonder if this will be the main headline on the BBC news, or will we get the doom-and-gloom version, ‘another 120,000 got covid today’ among the also ran stories near the end?

    I suspect we can guess.

    • StewGreen says:

OK to Covid yes the expected trend did continue

There’s never been an actual 200K day .. when big stats are released it’s cos they are catchup data
Peak was on 28th Dec a Wednesday and an almost similar peak on the Tuesday 4th of January

Why ? .. I guess cos positives count is partially driven by testing
and many tests are done before someone starts work

Wednesday 5th of January had a lower count ..no new people testing before work .. no kids testing before school.
I can’t see that now much data is held up
Today’s data was collected from Monday when most kids were back at school .. and so far no big positives
It’s just about possible that a lot of school positives might show up on Wednesday.

      The bad news is deaths
As I said the weekend’s deaths have only just been added to the tally
so after two low days we got a super high day.
Once full death data comes in Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon will all surpass 200 death/day
Obviously since positives fell there should be some there will be some day in the next 4 weeks when deaths reach a peak and start falling.

Covid cases down to circa 120,000 today, substantially less than the over 200,000 high of a few days ago. Boris might have been had some plaudits for not locking down in spite of the pressure from the NHS to do so. Being a cynical sort I might have thought this story of the party was held back until there was a risk of Boris having some good headlines. I still think it revenge by senior civil servants and the left leaning press for Brexit.

A friend of mine is a senior London administrator for the NHS. They had been telling me since early September 2021 that there would have to be another lockdown imminently . It would seem the only plans they made for an increase in covid numbers (from whatever level) was lockdown.

The National Anthem of Wales is ‘Land of my Fathers’. Some wags say its because all the men in Wales vote as their fathers did before them ie, Labour, Labour and more Labour.
The same could be said about some of the Tories posting on this site? They cannot see the Tory government and their leader doing any wrong, but lets face it, he cannot be trusted.
We have not achieved full Brexit. We are facing yet another year of mass invasion and still subject to all the propaganda coming from Al Beeb while being forced by law to pay the telly tax.
Add a list of broken promises and the present shambles – he has to go . It is not what we voted for.

taffman, my beef is not in support of Boris, I agree with you that he is pretty-much a disappointment. My beef is with the attempt to replace one-man-one-vote with court decisions.

We saw how this played out with Gina Miller and this is just the same thing again.

The time to express your view of the Prime Minister and the Government is at the ballot box, not in a kangaroo court!

It is clear to me that the majority of the media including The BBC, The Guardian, The Independent, ITV and Channel 4 are cut from the same cloth and are working hard to try to topple the Government regardless of the issue, this just being the latest weapon they can use and they will tailor all their articles to maximise the effect.

This means they only really represent part of the population, the part they inhabit, yet in the case of the BBC everyone has to fund them!

They are just out to get the Conservative Government removed because:
        1. They have the word ‘Conservative’ in the Party name,
        2. They are led by Boris Johnson as PM,
        3. They want to perpetuate the untrue myth that the wicked Torees always underfund the NHS,
        4. They blame the Conservatives for Brexit, and,
        5. They believe the PM was personally responsible for the EU Referendum result.

The excellent GBNews is featuring a story about ‘The Black Bitch ‘pub in Linlithgow which Greene King has decided to name change …. The 11000 local petition has – as usual – counted for nothing .

There is a statue of ‘the black bitch ‘ in the town . The ‘bitch’ in question is a dog which is black . It comes from an old story of a faithful dog supporting its ‘ master ….

I was hoping that GBNews would have someone on giving the reason for doing away with the pub name – but there was a statement of wokery from Greene King – which may well be losing customers … go woke go broke ….

Interestingly they has that George Galloway on who gave Green King – the SNP – krankie and the Scots ‘press both barrels …

I am sure mr Galloway is on the BBC banned list …

Hairy Bikers near me. Here is the BBC notes to accompany the visit to Sowerby Bridge. Absolutely no agenda…..

The Bikers also sample some of the finest cheese in Sowerby Bridge, and learn the history behind award-winning Yorkshire cheese business Dama Cheese. “The circumstances of setting up this business are nothing short of remarkable”, says Dave, “life or death”, adds Si, as the family who own it fled Syria in 2012. Founder Razan Alsous used her background in microbiology, and her husband’s engineering experience, to make halloumi-style cheese from high-quality milk from Yorkshire. “It’s quintessentially a Yorkshire produce via Syria”, says Si.

The North of England is home to some of the UK’s most famous pies. The Bikers meet chef Stosie Madi, who is of Lebanese heritage, born in Senegal and raised in Gambia. She runs the busy kitchen of award-winning gastropub The Parker’s Arms in Newton-in-Bowland. She’s “like a backbone of this Lancashire pub… people travel for miles for her world-class spiced ram pie”, says Dave. Stosie says the pastry is just as important as the filling, and her secret is using fat from the same animal as the meat in the filling to make the crust. Business partner and Lancashire local Kath’s secret to the perfect pastry? Her grandmother’s 100-year-old rolling pin.

    Telly is insured.

Sometimes we are not being fair to the BBC. Ok as
soon as you realize that the Londonistan programme
after the 6PM news is meant for the ethnic population,
and presented and reported by mostly ethnic BBC staff.
Which I suppose is really OK because only 35-40 % of
Londoners are indigenous to the capitol. AND it is the
only programme on BBC TV that does NOT use positive
discrimination. Which I suppose is a good thing?
So what the BBC let us Londoners do is to turn over to
BBC 2 and watch Rick Steyn in Cornwall. Of course after
that one can turn back to BBC 1 and listen to one of the
continuity personal telling us in a kind of Caribbean patois
what’s on next. That’s OK for me because I have worked
in betting shops all over London. And must of been called
a “pussy raas clad” too many times to remember. So the
continuity dialect is understandable for me. To be honest
I can understand it better than when Jamie Carragher is
mumbling on sky sports in his scouser accent !!

The BBC has been leading and legitimizing the witch-hunt against those who don’t wish to be vaccinated….happy to see them persecuted, ‘othered’ and dehumanised.

The same BBC that zealously cheerleads for abortion, the BBC that actively tries to demonise anyone who wants to limit abortion in any way.

Justin Webb floated the idea that we should perhaps treat the unvaccinated more harshly as they are ‘a danger to themselves and to others’….never mind the vaccinated can catch and transmit the virus just as readily as the unvaccinated.

But…what about abortion? In England and wales in 2020 there were 210,000 abortions…that’s more than the death toll from covid. The BBC is happy with that….it’s OK to kill all those babies.

    One reason is that…

‘A woman has the right to choose whether or not she wants to have the baby. It is her body.’

Hmmm…but don’t the unvaccinated also have the right to choose what happens to their bodies?

A mother to be can deliberately and definitely kill her baby but if you are unvaccinated and may only potentially infect someone else, to a greater or lesser degree, and the vaccinated can just as easily infect them, you are evil, selfish and irresponsible.

Seems ‘morality’ is a flexible thing at the BBC…but then again a ‘terrorist’ is merely a militant or an heroic rebel resister when it suits the BBC’s narrative whilst someone who merely wants to control immigration is a far-right extremist not far off being a Nazi.
