Start the Week 17 January 2022 THE DORRIES ANNOUNCEMENT

Is it possible that the government has finally realised that the State Broadcaster is at war with it ? And is going to do something about it – by freezing the Licence fee ? It will be a small step towards the end of the BBC in its current form – and can’t come too soon. The government must put something in the coming manifesto about changing the BBC too .

I think there is a need for realism – the freeze is a start – but the debate about alternative methods of funding the evil monster has begun .
She announced that the commercial arm of the BBC will be able to ‘borrow more’ – £750 million – I think ..I don’t know how that works but it might be a crafty step to start hiving off certain bits of the BBC to ‘subscription only ‘ – a term she repeatedly said she didn’t say ( as it were ) .

Me ? I’d end the BBC tomorrow – I’d sell it all to Amazon or Netflix or Apple …..

Just take a few minutes for a watch of this liberal on time progressive who wrote a book called San Fransicko about the way the ‘progressive’ left are destroying Americas cities.

He goes on to detail the three current areas the radical left are trying very hard to dismantle and it’s very difficult after listening not to regard Boris Johnson as being amongst those on the radical left.

    Meritocracy and meritocratic testing
    Policing and crime
    Reliable energy supply.

Quoting #PRasNews from IPPR Labour thinktank

The 2021 allocations of the Levelling Up Fund, which is controlled centrally, is an investment of just £32 per person in the North

This compares to a £413 per person drop in the North in annual council service spending over the decade

A £413 drop in council spending is not a loss to local economy
The money is originally collected in taxes
Tax £413 less, that’s money in the hands of the public who spend it instead.

Bet the cut is entirely due to council houses being floated off into Housing Associations

‘People without kids pay for schools!’ Jeremy Vine bats back criticisms of BBC licence fee
JEREMY Vine challenged the view that people who do not use all of the BBC should not pay for it as he listed off several instances of taxpayers’ money going on services they may never use.

Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker also showed his support and wrote: “The BBC is revered, respected and envied around the world.

“It should be the most treasured of national treasures. Something true patriots of our country should be proud of.”

      YOUR COMPLAINT:

Complaint Summary: ‘Shocking’ levels of denial remain-from 2000 folk

      Full Complaint:

Dear Winston Smith at the BBC Complaints Department who is paid a salary whilst others are prosecuted for not paying your salary even though they don’t want to hear what you say,

I listened to Jeremy Vine on Radio 2 and he kept saying there were high levels of Holocaust denial (5%)… but not once (whilst I listened) did he say that the poll was from 2000 people and not once did he say (whilst I listened) what the raw data showed. I really am shocked Winston that you let this NewsSpeak through, could the BBC not have done another POLL to verify the results? You have £3.5 billion at your disposal and all Jeremy Vine can do is scare people. The link on the website does not link to the original data .. “Holocaust Memorial Day: ‘Shocking’ levels of denial remain” {27jan2019} https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-47015184 “WE RELEASE RESEARCH TO MARK HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL DAY 2019” https://www.hmd.org.uk/news/we-release-research-to-mark-holocaust-memorial-day-2019/ Using an online methodology, we surveyed 2,006 nationally representative UK adults aged 16+. The respondents were randomly selected from an online market research access panel. Quotas were set to ensure the overall responses are representative of ONS UK population data based on age, gender and region. Given the sample size and the percentage of respondents who expressed this view, the Confidence Interval is +/-0.95% for a Confidence Level of 95%. Here are some words from Orwell’s resignation letter . “I am tendering my resignation because for some time past I have been conscious that I was wasting my own time and the public money on doing work that produces no result.
I believe that in the present political situation the broadcasting of British propaganda to India is an almost hopeless task. Whether these broadcasts should be continued at all is for others to judge, but I myself prefer not to spend my time on them when I could be occupying myself with journalism which does produce some measureable effect.”

Last week BBC Radio 4 Extra featured the Welsh song Myfanwy as part of the Soul Music series.

‘Some say’ it has a beautiful melody, though personally I find that hard to pick out when sung by the traditional male voice choir, (too busy listening to the different colours of tones I expect).

Something missing from the programme was a translation of the words into English – perhaps because it rather loses its emotional appeal then?

Just struck me, it is of course the Welsh version of The Carnival Is Over, which in turn is supposed to come from a Russian folk song!

Now I will let you all get back to ‘Partygate’.

GB News are the only news station that is giving out the freedom of information request asking “How many deaths are caused ‘by’ covid alone and not ‘with’ covid”

We are told by everyone that over 150,000 have died but the true figure is 17,500 +/- a few hundred. I haven’t got the exact numbers in front of me but it’s about right.

The question lots of us on here have been asking, well, there’s the answer and it’s lower than the flu deaths.

I’m sure Stew will come on with the more accurate numbers soon enough (I didn’t write them down whilst watching it) but at last we have the truth coming out.

mainly cos counting raw deaths in things affecting the elderly is a bit BS
Counting raw deaths is only good for trend spotting
To see true impact you need to count Quality Adjusted Life Years lost

However there other problems with dismissing it down to 17,000
by dismissing co-morbidities especially if they are mild, say mild diabetes

The day’s Covid statistics are out. It looks like the PM was correct to insist on Plan B and no more than Plan B. Will the BBC praise Boris Johnson tomorrow on TOADY? Will they point out that Keir Starmer’s and Sadiq Khan’s approach of total Lockdown would have done harm to businesses and harm to families and harm to peoples’ lives? I think I can make an educated guess on that front.

The average area in England had 942 new infections the first drop to three figures for some time.

BBC and ITV beginning the reveal of the absolute and sickening suffering of the ordinary citizens of Afghanistan…

There is a hint that the US and the UK have blood on their hands over this so far.

Of course no mention of the barbaric practices of the Taliban just hints that somehow the West must take the blame.

Having said that it’s hinted that it’s the generic West and not the total idiot in the White House who has single handedly created this shit show.

The mighty US have walked away from the situation and handed the Country over to a bunch of lunatics in 4×4’s

The US military are therefore humiliated. The general population in Afghanistan are abandoned and all to appease the Muslim World by a pathetic and weak president in the US.

It is therefore hard for me to have any sympathy with the population of this shithole now.

It is what it is and now the only outcome is to let it burn.

Hopefully the US will wake up to the lunacy of their choices including their choice of president and make amends in due course.

Hmmmmmmm worrying rumours coming from the Blue Labour party.

We have a strategy called “save big dog” which is basically a set of disreputable policy changes which attempt to woo disillusioned voters and MPs back to Johnsons side.

The fact is that the Tories know Boris is a Marxist or has been influenced by Marxists and unable to resist, and they know how unpopular those Marxist policies have been, so they have now attempted to reverse them, in what they call “Red Meat”, but what happens when Johnson either goes or is saved? Will it be back to Marxism as usual ? Will the threat of the end of the licence fee suddenly morph back into another round of Royal Charter extension?

I don’t trust Blue Labour and their propensity to lean to the far left these days.

Some sanity across the pond amongst the liberal, marxist madness:

Virginia’s new AG Jason Miyares announces major investigations within hours of taking office
New Republican attorney general announces crackdown on soft-on-crime parole policies and probe into Loudoun bathroom rape case

Miyares wrote. “The Virginia Parole Board broke the law when they let out murders, rapists, and cop killers early on their sentences without notifying the victims. Loudoun Country Public Schools covered up a sexual assault on school grounds for political gain, leading to an additional assault of a young girl.”

Loudoun County became a focal point in Youngkin’s gubernatorial race against former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe following the arrest of a 14-year-old male high school student, who identifies as nonbinary, who has been found guilty of raping a female student in a school bathroom. That student was transferred to another school where he allegedly raped another student and the district has been accused of covering up the crime which resulted in one of the alleged victim’s parents being arrested at a school board meeting. ”

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/virginias-new-ag-miyares-announces-investigations-within-hours-loudoun-county

And the marxists respond with more lies:

Virginia State Senator Louise Lucas tweeted that Miyares fired the “entire” civil rights division, which Miyares’s office tells Fox News is not accurate.

“This is incorrect information,” Miyares spokeswoman Victoria LaCivita said. “There are 12 individuals who work in the Office of Civil Rights – only two personnel changes were made.

No, for nearly a year Joe Biden stayed home hiding in terror from infectious voters. Instead, he let news organizations make his case for him, which they did. The media hid Biden’s faults, they attacked and censored his critics. In general, they gave no hint at all that you might be electing a senile mannequin with a lifelong history of sleazy behavior. Voters had no clue, they didn’t know who Joe Biden actually was. And yet suddenly, news organizations have decided to tell them. It’s pretty amazing to watch it. ”

well, there’s paracetamol in there … I’d laugh if there’s a lemon flavoured fizzy dissolving tablet version.

That said, I’ll return to my Omicron mantra

Why are the MSM so reticent about the provenance of a self -replicating vaccine that was delivered to Botswana by 4 mysterious (fair to say – I feel) “diplomats” in November 2021?

    BBC News on FB.

Money raised from the licence fee pays for BBC shows and services – including TV, radio, the BBC website, podcasts, iPlayer and apps.

They are aghast to be ‘under threat’ and using all their propaganda to ask why and suggest it is forces of evil.

A nice image of Dave and live parrot as Nish and Mike Rosen was not playing so well.

    Oh, and the comments… #ccbgb

Especially those from overseas saying how great it is, and clear ringers, drug dealers and other dependents.

    Toady watch

A lovely interview by Comrade Robinson with someone who sounded like a ‘pal’ – a comrade from the ‘first division association ‘ one of those elite SS units in the civil service .

Basically they spent their time slagging nut nut and saying how awful it was for those civil servants who were like the children caught up in a nasty divorce ( nut nut v Cummings ) .

There was no mention these these innocent civil servant ‘victims ‘ were actually the hugely entitled ‘party people ‘ choosing the wine and cheese …..
And – as I’ve said before – lacked the morality honour or duty to stick to the restrictions they had just helped to impose on the pleb class – namely us.

This – of course – was very BBC – and very Robinson – because it /he is very good at selective condemnation of the ‘non approved ‘ .

As an aside . I wonder who is carrying out the “gray ‘ inquiry – obviously the lady has overall responsibility but who is doing the donkey work ? Answer – kidult civil servants ….?

BTW – the employment figures post furlough are -pretty impressive – but who cares about trivial stuff like economic recovery eh ?

It is so broken there is no fix. Hence, maybe a multi millionaire Irish staffer could offer a fudge measure?

The UK prime minister “knew he was at a drinks party cos he was told it was a drinks party and it was actually a drinks party”, Mr Cummings has claimed.

That last word… the BBC has selective uses for it.

Now a ‘Change.Org’ petition which, if successful, will allow our, “Worlds Most Trusted Broadcaster” to continue to peddle their Marxism lies and deceit.

Change.Org is a commercial entity following the money. Any old subject matter will do. Either that, or it is a cover for the Marxists/Lib/Lab Pact adherents.

Here, take a look at what the petition is based on. Warning, need of a vomit bucket.

The BBC has been part of the lives of every person in our country, and there is no one in Britain whose day hasn’t been enriched by access to an organisation that has produced incredible output, all free of advertisements.

all free of advertisements. = it uses the BBC news to advertise itself – Children in Need etc so has no competition.

all free of advertisements. = presenters use it to promote their book – see Jon Sopel.

all free of advertisements. = it uses the BBC news to advertise itself about itself being advert free! HA HA HA!

Bez to Bezos and was lockdown a racket?

The Daily Star this morning reveals news for us that our celebrity maraca-wielding former member of Madchester group Happy Mondays has caught the koof: ‘Bez: I have covid

I don’t suppose the 57-year-old ex-raver will be in ecstasy about having a bad cold – but rest assured he will have been fully vaxed. I really doubt our Bez has any fear of taking any experimental drugs. When MDMA met mRNA, eh?

They never used to believe a word the lying Brexiteer, would-be root and branch Civil Service reformer and Castle Bernard DIY-optician uttered, now they hang on his every word: ‘Cummings accuses PM of lying over No10 party‘ (Guardian)

I’ll swear PM lied to the House‘ – screams the freebie Metro.

    Informers, eh?

Talking of strictly enforced lockdowns – even in supremely coronaphobic Australia they don’t come stricter than this one… a family bubble isolating in an attic for two years…

Who betrayed Anne Frank?‘ asks Daniel Finklestein in the Times. They now reckon it was an inside job. The evil forces persuaded one jew to inform on his compatriots so as to save himself.

Given the regular prominent contributions of the achingly soft centrist-Tory Danny Finklestien, perhaps one should re-dub the formerly patriotic Times as The Jewish Informer. Careful now with these banterish jokes: ‘Peers… voted to make misogyny a hate crime in England and Wales in another government defeat.‘ (BBC) – these hatey crimes do proliferate – and really we wouldn’t want to risk hatey crime accusations. Although one has to say, all mention of the actual anti-semitic terror attack in the US carried out by a – or perhaps in collaboration with a group – of certain ‘Britons‘ has very quickly been expunged from the BBC online news frontpage, so apparently some very hateful real world acts are counted as no big thing BBC-wise.

Seems the UK is not the only western nation with leaky borders: ‘British jihadist let into US despite convictions‘ (Telegraph) – that’ll be his criminal convictions, not his religious orientation. One Donald Trump tried to fix that as part of his election mandate but the US courts threw it out.

A good media story these days needs to kick off with some fear…

Fears… online world is the “Wild West”‘ (Daily Mirror) – Ye-Ha!!!

Is this some expert talking to the Mirror? Bill Gates… Tim Berners-Lee… Jeff Bezos? Nope: ‘We must talk to our children about the dangers online. Sophie Wessex writes exclusively for the Mirror

Frankly, luv, your Highness(?) (Countess? – these titles come and go so quick these days), I tend to have to persuade my kids to talk to me about how to use computers and the internet. They know more about it than I do.

    What is it with tennis?

António Horta-Osório, the former Lloyds bank boss, has resigned as Credit Suisse chairman after breaking Covid-19 rules to attend Wimbledon‘ (Times)

Apparently, judging by their personal conduct and behaviours, our political and moneyed elites thought lockdown was just a bit of a racket.

Even the stuffed shirt, seventeen times isolating – bore the hind legs off a deaf and dumb dead donkey – Labour leader was snapped going for a pint. Sir Beer Starmer?

I’ll leave you with Matt in the Telegraph – a satirst after my own heart. He has a couple of chaps chatting on a park bench: “While Keir Starmer was drinking beer I was isolating with Covid. Having seen that photo, I think I was having more fun

I have to say in all my years watching the BBC I can genuinely say I have never seen such appalling behaviour by the presenters and correspondents as I am witnessing now, it’s akin to a feeding frenzy.

It’s now obvious they are no longer even trying to hide there appalling bias.

When presenting they smirk, laugh, fabricate the facts to suit there agenda, only put one side of the story, they find and interview people who obviously fall in line with there views and agenda, when there is a good news story they always endeavour to find a down side.

My only hope is when all this is over the bast–ds at the BBC get there just desserts, sadly,I won’t hold my breath.

Now that it is absolutely clear that Cummings is doing everything he can to destroy nut nut it’s about time he did a few interviews….
….but I suppose he will be judging the right time to do them for maximum effect – unless he can engineer nut nut s’ resignation without having to ‘go public ‘.

I think the public have got beyond the ‘eye rolling ‘ stage – and are being diverted from the prospect of the winter ending and a better 2022 …. – unless the bills can’t be paid of course …

The below letter was submitted today (31 July 2020) to the BBC on behalf of the UK’s leading LGBTQ+ organisations. We are calling, in one voice, for a full and transparent explanation as to why trans organisations were removed from the BBC’s former ‘Gender Identity’ page. Currently, no trans organisations covering England, Scotland and Wales are included in the new ‘LGBT Issues‘ page.
