    BBC news
Long delays of trucks at Dover due to new customs regulations . Drivers blame Brexit .

Now how many people think there are BRITISH lorry drivers in those queues?

Being in the EU and the civil serpent blob killed the British international Road haulage industry. I was there , so to speak .
I’ll take on the civil service and the BBC in any open debate about it .

I’ll name names to get the ball rolling . James Fells , Roger Smith and Gerry Sreanan were complicit as part of the blob in destroying British international road haulage .

If I’m right they’re traitors: although too stupid to benefit from being such.
If I’m wrong they could sue me for libel .

But knowing the way the civil service works , they would hope that this issue will just blow away .

I cant help thinking that the BBC like Boris and are scared that any replacement will be far worse for them and their socialist woke agenda. In Boris they have the leftist Conservative PM ever and married to a raving environmentalist. Its in their interests to keep Boris so you’ll see them making half hearted calls for him to go but he is the best they can hope for until the Labour Party get thier act together.

Just a side note. The Queen avoids helicopters I hope her using one to go to Sandringham isn’t a sign that all is not well.

I think that there is a strong possibility that the whole partygate was part of a well prepared plan to oust Boris . The one thing that Boris could never do was to move the UK back to some sort of membership of the EU but there are some potential Tory leaders who will be willing to make significant concessions to Brussels. The powerful Remainer lobby has probably already agreed with Tory power brokers who I have of those will be the next PM.
Boris has disappointed me on several fronts, NIP, Green nonsense, the BBC, HS2, levelling up but he won’t put us back in the iron grip of Brussels . Perhaps it is a case of better the devil we know.

Useless? yes and no vision. But he did persuade millions of people to vote conservative at an election for the first time in nearly 20 years and it’s hard to emphasise how much work he did de-toxifying the brand. It’s not true conservatism but it’s better than a world where Labour is constantly in power and true conservatives sit on the opposition. Right now the opposite is true where Labour bicker about who is purer and how they want a 90% tax on bankers and it makes them unelectable because you need to be more centrist if you want to do anything.

Also, Cameron was (accidentally!) the best PM in 50 years because he gave the country the Brexit vote, even if it was because he stupidly though he would win and get to bury the subject.

I don’t agree with Simon Webb that this is “baffling” or that it might be to protect the sensitivities of the sexual predator.

It is actually because the Establishment wants to suppress the truth about black people. Compared with whites, blacks are low in intelligence, low in conscientiousness, low in empathy, high in impulsivity. They commit crime at far higher rates than whites.

They are the most dangerous of all the human subspecies on Earth and it was a huge mistake to allow them to come here and live in our previously homogeneous and high trust society.

But since it was the Establishment who brought them here against the wishes of the people, the fiction must be maintained that this was a good idea. The myth that diversity is a strength must be reinforced. All negative stories about blacks must be downplayed or ignored. The race of suspects must be deemed unimportant. Race itself can even be claimed not to exist. Anything to disguise the reality that blacks not only commit a disproportionately high amount of crime but that they have ruined Britain and turned large parts of our cities into dangerous no-go areas.

        The truth must be suppressed.

The BBC’s onslaught against the Government is at fever pitch on telly this morning, lefty woman after lefty woman interviewed about allegations of bullying and Islamaphobia in the Conservative Party.

One even said that some MP’s had been threatened to have details of their private life revealed if they didn’t toe the line. Despite the fact that this is absolute hog wash, the only response I can think of would be what have they got to hide then?

They are also trying to big up the hit consumers are taking under the nasty Brexit Toriesp, shopping, power cost, up while wages falling etc.

Some hazy price comparisons with cartoon illustrations of a can of chicken soup etc. from the ONS. A warning about energy cap price rises, this time from a source named as Cornwall Insight who turn out to be a private company training (brainwashing) amongst others media folk such as newsreaders in net zero matters.

A Muslim’s first support is for their Ideology Islam-they will never waiver from that definite issue-their lives no matter where they are in the World, are for and to Islam. This is why it was so dangerous for this Government to have had devoted Muslims in high places able to influence the course of this nation-the now Health Secretary, the Education Secretary, and so on, and now there is the case of a Muslim woman member of Parliament blurting out the case of Racism against the fact that she was a follower of Islam. Dam hypocrisy-not that long ago it would have been unheard of that a Muslim would enter Parliament-the invasion of such over the past thirty years has seen to that-I am not sure of the numbers of Muslims that now reside in the UK but if as said there are 60 million in Europe, we might well have over twenty million in the UK. Like many well versed in the ways of Islam, the intention is to rule this nation, one way or another. We don’t have to note the disgusting way many of their kind have treated a nation that gave them sancturary and a chance to live in peace, no we allowed them to build their Mosques places where plans ( seditous) can be laid for the invasion of this this nation. Wo betide us if we sit ideally by.

I believe that Russia and China are biding their time. They can see the West’s crumbling morals and the way it is being deformed by it’s numerous “diverse” denizens and pressure groups, all supported by it’s MSM and they both know that it is only a matter of time before it becomes totally dysfunctional and implodes so why bother expending arms and soldiers when the West is so busy committing suicide all on it’s own.

They also see the likes of Canada, Australia and New Zealand becoming “diverse” madhouses so eventual victory and Global control are going to be a walkover.

It’s merely a waiting game for them but I think eventually they will pour in to mop up the mess.

And it appears that even Sally Nugent has been tasked to keep it going this morning for the BBC morning news. The blatant and spiteful unfounded attacks, interruptions and insinuations used against any Conservative interviewed are probably dictated by the BBC lefty big-wigs higher up the food chain.

Even when their is no foundation for their allegations It is apparent the disdainful and accusative tone of every interview is a deliberate tactic.

It does make me wonder if the “faces” on the BBC ever consider using their own approach or are forced to toe the Corporations anti-Government stance in every interview either through fear for their careers or sheer laziness.

Time for Boris to re-introduce the no-show, no-talk to the BBC approach again like Cummins did.

Tory No10 Parties, Labour No2 also has her affiliations

The left-leaning newspaper that has revelled in coronaphobia now goes with: ‘PM under pressure to launch new inquiry into Islamophobia claims‘ (‘i’)

One of those you are supposed to be afraid of – the other, not so much.

On the frontpage of that same organ we are presented with: ‘We all felt like dispensable bodies in scrubs. Novelist Dr Roopa Farooki on the Covid front line‘ – reassuring readers that the ‘i’ is still delivering lots of fruity corona porn. The NHS doc so overwhelmed she had time to write a book about it?

Guardian pin up, inventor of the boomerang-grenade, toothy authoritarian Jacinda Ardern, makes news way beyond her stuck-in-the-1950s little world of New Zealand. You almost couldn’t make up the fauning Guardianista caption to the fighteningly horsey pic of her and her loyal simpering chap: ‘Jacinda Ardern has put New Zealand on a “red setting” to curb Omicron cases. Amid new restrictions on gatherings, she and her fiance, Clarke Gayford, have postponed their wedding‘ – the anti-Boris BOYB party hint is blatant but the “red setting” and “Clarke Gayford“…. some things are just beyond satire.

The Times asks: ‘Couples therapy. Are you hooked on it yet?‘ and then focuses on other “fears” in the news this week: ‘Fears mount Russia will weaponise gas supplies. Warning of record UK bills if Ukraine is invaded‘ – maybe our government didn’t ought to have weaponised our energy bills chasing their daft green agenda? Explain this to me: we can happily kowtow to the Saudis for the sake of oil, how come we want to pick a fight with Putin?

The Labour-supporting Daily Mirror would stand like a statue of liberty for migrants – Give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses… – ‘Fury over Home Office job advert that calls migrants a ‘threat’ amid refugee crisis‘ (Mirror 15 January 2022); and the paper is onboard with carbon neutral high energy prices: ‘New 2035 climate change targets – five big ways they will change your everyday life‘ (Mirror April 2021) – and yet no dots are ever joined to outcomes such as highlighted in today’s headline story: ‘D-Day hero age 98 who is living in fear of his energy bills

Furthermore: ‘Boris Johnson ‘broke Covid lockdown rules’ with Downing Street parties at Xmas‘ (Mirror November 2021 – yes, this story has been going on that long) – but no dots are joined between lockdowns and this story of a lonely old lady: ‘A gran of 71 whose house is too cold for her grandkids to visit‘ – they had to come up with some excuse, luv – at least the little brats didn’t say her house was too smelly.

Like any good left-leaning globalist the Kiwi harridan can expect a good write up from the FT – as usual the headline there tends toward the cryptic rather than the specific: ‘NZ altar delay. Virus curbs in Asia-Pacific‘ – the pic of our Jacinda however is hardly the posed pin up the Gruan lovingly presented. This Jacinda with tight hair bun and hard focus could be the other’s – with her free flowing locks – gran. She stands in the FT photo backed by the NZ version of our beloved union flag she wanted to trash: ‘… Labour MPs, including Jacinda Ardern, wanted a new national flag…‘ (a welcome rare appearance hereabouts for the NZ Herald 2016) frankly looking rougher than the lonely gran on the frontpage of the Mirror. But admittedly has more teeth.

Obvoiusly all grit and upstanding manliness has drained away from our Australasian cousins – seems only the Sheilas have the balls these days: ‘Retired tennis star Martina Navratilova has blasted a decision by Australian Open organisers to ban T-shirts supporting Chinese player Peng Shuai. ‘ (BBC)

Talking of being in-bed with Labour as we were with the Mirror: ‘Labour’s No2 and the married MP‘ (Daily Mail) – she gets about… oh dear, now I’ve got frightening flashbacks to that famous pic of Labour’s fag ash Lil Angela Raynor taking the knee with Sir Keir.

Sad to read that the Arch-Gardener, Peter Seabrook died recently!

He was an inspiration to anyone who wanted to get into this great hobby/pastime/passion, and his enthusiasm brought so much happiness to new – and older gardeners. His book ‘The Complete Vegetable gardener’ is the best one I have, and is well-thumbed as well as fithy dirty, from darting in to see how far apart spuds needed to be, or the height of a pea net!

He was for some time on the BBC, and I seem to recall that his forthright opinions were just too good for the budding snowflakes and wokers who are now in full swing in W1AA. The current gardening programmes they churn out are just dire and boring these days – they just wallow around on the diversity ticket to the detriment of keen agricultural discussion!

When I lived in California 50ish years ago, this was the norm. Drivers had to give way to pedestrians just as we do here at Zebra Crossings – the difference being the pedestrian right of way applied everywhere even in the middle of the block, not just at marked crossings or junctions.

Over the past couple of years I have discovered how, despite the censorship, much better You Tube is than linear TV in the field of documentaries. That isn’t surprising as linear TV makes it programmes for a broad audience whereas You Tube content is for a niche market and can delve far deeper into a topic than can linear TV.
As an example I recently watched a Ch 4 documentary on the sinking of the Bismark complete with the usual re- enactment by wooden actors , inappropriate film clips and computer graphics. It was so superficial and misleading that anyone who didn’t know better would come away with entirely the wrong impression on several key issue. There are plenty of much better and more informative videos available on You Tube.

The grip of linear tv is weakening rapidly and I can see why young folks choose what they want to watch rather than sit in front of the tv and consume what is served up. The idea that a large state broadcaster should be publicly funded, whether by a license fee or by direct taxation, grows more archaic every day.

If you watch broadcast documentaries closely you will find the same graphics and video clips repeated over and over.

That has been like that for decades, indeed when I was at school that was the reason the teachers gave for not using TV sets in lessons, the content was just too thin.

By way of contrast, once I had the task of cutting down a 15 minute training video to 7 minutes to fit the attention span of very senior civil servants. I found it nigh on impossible as every frame was there for a reason. In the end it was a case of ‘now the object is here, now it is there, the how doesn’t matter’.

When one considers that half of the broadcast channels are repeats and the other half is repeats of those repeats there isn’t really all that much content out there – but they don’t half pay themselves well for it!

      You are right.

Ark Royal played a big part in sinking the Bismarck. She was a famous ship, and there is lots of film of her. But this programme used pre-war footage of either Courageous or Glorious, when the aircraft handlers were from the RAF, and the aircraft were loaded with practice bombs.

It is easy to get these things right, yet they continue to get them wrong. Given that some of the last surviving veterans of the battle were interviewed, it is the least they could have done to use footage of the right ship.

Channel 4 poll from last year (2015), found that only 1% of UK Muslims think that publications should have the right to publish the cartoons of Mohammed.”

Is it cos I is a muslim ? or I mislead Parliament 5 times ?

    The allegations

Documents seen by The Canary state that Nusrat Ghani, a junior minister employed by Department for Transport (DfT) ‘misled’ parliament on five occasions:

Ms Ghani has broken the Ministerial Code regarding openness, honesty & leadership.

Ms Ghani mislead select committees & parliament 5 times for the sole reason that MP’s would not become aware of the £20bn cost increase & the 5 year delay before & during the HS2 phase 2a debate.

The document also claims that the permanent secretary for the DfT has broken the civil code. Bernadette Kelly, a former employee of the Cabinet Office has been accused of misleading select committees and parliament, for the sole purpose of burying information:

Exclusive: Cabinet Office won’t investigate ministers who ‘broke’ the ministerial code over HS2 scandal

    Timeline proves ministers knew

Oct 2018 – The National Audit Office (NAO) published the HS2 progress report. It found that HS2 contractors estimated that the main construction costs were 83% above the budgeted price. HS2 Ltd formally notified the DfT that there were “significant challenges to the affordability of the programme”.

Jun 2019 – The now former chair of HS2, Allan Cook informed the DfT there was ‘no prospect’ of HS2 Ltd delivering phase 1 in budget.

Jun 2019 – The Infrastructure and Projects Authority undertakes a review and concludes that successful delivery is unachievable.

July 2019 – In early July, officials provide the accounting officer and HS2 Ltd chief executive with updated advice, which concludes that Phase One is unaffordable

15 July 2019 – At a debate in the House of Commons, Nusrat Ghani, a junior minister employed by DfT ‘misled’ parliament. When asked about the HS2 budget, she failed to inform ministers of a £20bn increase in cost. A cost increase that the DfT knew about.

The NAO HS2 report shows that by the time of the debate (15 July 2019) the DfT knew that HS2 could not be completed within its budget.

All I can think when I read these stories is how white males are being sacked (or forced out) from the BBC purely on their skin colour and not one of these hypocrites say anything about it.

Nor do any of them speak out when a woman or a BAME is given a job through ‘quotas’. How many white males didn’t get a job they were most qualified for because of their skin colour ?. If that isn’t racist and/or sexist, what is it ?.

      BBC3.

Growing up in Yorkshire, Persephone Rizvi was a self-professed party girl. She lived for the weekend night life: drink, boys and fun – in any order. But it all got too much and something needed to change. Five years ago, Persephone embraced Islam, finding a solution to her problems. But in leaving her old life behind – swapping parties for a life of reflection, her stud-pressed stilettos for a headscarf – she also cut off ties with the close friends she grew up with, disappearing without so much as a word.

Seven years on, Persephone’s settled into her new life as a Muslim and is back in her hometown of Huddersfield. But for her, one thing remains unresolved: closure with the old friends she cut off when she converted (or ‘reverted’ as Muslims term it). In this unique and moving documentary, the cameras follow Persephone as she reaches out to her old friends. It’s no simple matter: Can she resolve the issues which soured some of her friendships and have been left festering over time; can she overcome deep nerves to meet the people she once called her ‘rides and dies’ and then cut off without a word.

Exploring friendship, faith and growing up, ultimately Persephone has to ask a simple question: she and her friends may have moved on – but can they get on?

After the murder of George Floyd, the concept of “spending black”, consciously choosing to buy from black-owned businesses, became an even more popular way in which to support the black community in their everyday lives.

Stats showed that whilst black people are three times more likely to start a new business than white people, they were also more likely to fail to get it off the ground.

Could investing in the black pound be the answer to some of the problems black people face?

For presenter, Aaron Roach Bridgeman, “spending black” is not a new concept.

However, the unprecedented new interest in “buying black” sends Aaron on a journey to explore what impact this has had on the black community and on the businesses themselves.

He meets businesses that have benefitted financially and culturally from consumers choosing to “spend black” and utilises the latest data to draw conclusions on who and in which areas people are choosing to “spend black”.

Ultimately Aaron questions to what extent this surge in “spending black” will last? Could it really be the hope and tangible change that the young black community is looking for?

Just spent the morning doing some window painting (yawn), and for company, had GB News on!

Wow, what a great show and totally different from the biased rubbish we get from the BBC – they even had Vicky Price on, and she had to tow the line and mentioned some stuff which was quite pertinent, and as she wasn’t cowed by the rules the BBC lay down, (be lefty, woke, lovey snowflakey etc.,) the whole painting job went like the wind, and it was a joyous couple of hours!

Great stuff, GB News, keep it going like this, and the Beeb will be toast sooner than they think!

One of Blair’s most damaging legacies has been to create a wide gulf between those who work directly or indirectly for the government , or are dependent upon it , and those who work in the private sector and pay for the other groups.
Before Blair working for the government meant job for life regardless of performance and a good pension , after Blair it meant those things plus excellent pay. Why take the risk of working in the private sector when you can earn plenty , perhaps more , in the public sector with zero risk and a gold plated pension. Of course a person’s votes usually follows what they perceive as their best interests, vote Labour for an even more bloated public sector
Eventually 99 people in the public sector will all be living off the tax of 1 person in the private sector who works 48 hours a day.

Good point, Double, and the type of person getting all this tax-payer’s dosh is from the useless ‘education nobody’ sort of kid, which he flounced around, to keep the new children off the unemployment numbers and making the parents pay for the ‘privilege’!

Bloody-well near some sort of idealistic western version of communism in my book.
