Start the week 31 January 2022

Lord Grade is in line to be the new Chair of OFCOM . Good news?
Surely he knows the group think of the BBC – which is shared by those ex BBC types who hide in OFCOM … and _ elsewhere-for those who like anniversaries – this day is the anniversary of the UK leaving the EU- so be sure the BBC will celebrate that ….

The truckers rebellion in Canada contrasts nicely with Partygate.

In Canada we have the governing establishment trying to suppress a rebellion of the people and using the media to portray them a fringe group of fascists .
In the UK we have the establishment trying to overthrow a democratically elected Brexiteer and using the media to help do it.

Whoopi Goldberg is facing a backlash after she said on a US talk show that the Holocaust “was not about race”.

The actress and television personality said on ABC’s The View that the Nazi genocide of the Jews involved “two groups of white people”.

Critics pointed out that Hitler himself had vented his hatred of the Jews in racial terms. She later apologised.

It is noticeable that the Canadian establishment are not able to rustle up as many paid-for saboteurs at the drop of a hat as e.g. the UK establishment. This is partly because the urban centres and universities in Canada are huge distances apart. Whenever people have an anti-agenda demonstration or rally here in the UK there are always plenty of agents provocateur bussed in along with the hatey antifa types to counter protest. As Tucker says, Canadians aren’t used to these methods.

All the news channels are now interviewing joe public on the street to get ‘their reactions’ . If they are on the side of Johnson the interviewer then asks a loaded and negative question, in order to get the response they want. “ok you would vote for the PM, but do you trust him ?”. Oh how I wish they would pick someone with a bit of nous who would say “alright, you tell me what you want me to say !”

All very understandable. But then, shock horror. The Beeb allowed reality to enter the fray. Without so much as a single viewer discretion notice, an experienced and practical interviewee appeared on the programme, a Mr Robinson, who actually manages 35,000 acres of real land, and said that the most humane method of management is shooting deer, by a trained marksman (or markswoman/marks-both/marks-neither or marks-gender-variable, Oh Lord give me strength before I shoot myself). He only said it. He didn’t actually do it. But that did it, Dear Reader.

It triggered a severe attack of the fainty collapsing eco-horrors in many of the snowflakes watching the programme. One can imagine them, slumped unconscious from distress, in their armchairs, covered in biscuit crumbs and bits of crisps, poor souls. When they recovered enough to put pen and purple ink into their quivering keyboards, their comments in the Express suggest, rather sadly yet again, that care in the community has been an abject and tragic failure.

“For You : Although Keir Starmer was head of CPS, another lawyer was responsible for Jimmy Savile’s case, Reuters and Full Fact report”
Labour Leader Keir Starmer was head of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) in 2009 when the decision was made not to prosecute TV and radio presenter Jimmy Savile,
but he was not the reviewing lawyer for the case, according to Full Fact and Reuters.
In 2012, Starmer commissioned an investigation to examine the decisions made by the CPS in relation to the allegations of sexual assault by Savile,
which went on to criticise both prosecutors and the police for how they handled the case.
When the report was published, Starmer apologised for “the shortcomings in the part played by the CPS”.

The ‘Full Fact’ fact checkers seem to concentrate extensively on anti-government and anti-Brexit topics.

I did find one about Corbyn in 2017 and to my surprise (not), they came down on his side.

The problem is that there are far more left-wing activists then right-wing activists who are driven to spend their time doing it. Same reason the MSM is generally left-wing because they become reporters in their ideological drive to change the world to be how they think it should be. People on the Right tend to be real-world, practical people who go out and deal with the world instead. I suspect it’s a left/right brain thing.

Whenever I ‘fact check’ a fact-checker from Snopes, their twitter feed shows me they are almost always left-wing activists with a long list of anti-Trump tweets and the like. Full Fact don’t give their names so they can’t be held to account – but I fully expect they are the same type of people.

And of course they tend to only choose to investigate ‘facts’ which suit them and their eternal left-wing agenda – with a few others thrown in as a smokescreen.

Boris Johnston, as Prime Minister must be held accountable – personally – and pilloried for everything that happened in the Downing Street offices for multiple civil service groups….. because…well, he’s the head of that office…. claims Starmer.

But Keir Starmer cannot be held responsible, as Director for Public Prosecutions for any actions taken by people reporting through to him….

No hypocrisy there, then, Mr Starmer – and all your supporters in the MSM (with the BBC heading the charge, of course).

The old phrase that we can sleep soundly in our beds because rough men are prepared to deal violence on our behalf, comes tro mind.

If the fact that rough men are rough offends the sensibilities of the effite Islingon set then let them defend their property and families from the criminals themselves and show us all how it should be done.

We can see from the effects of the lunatic left in Democrat controlled cities in America what that breakdown of law and order means to real life citizens, and that is what they want for us. Alas the cowardly useless incompetent Tories will never do anything to stop them and the Red Labour party will always support criminality ahead of law & order.

On the BBC Today programme this morning….. after moaning throughout the past two weeks about how the government was so distracted by ‘Partygate’ that they could not function as a government, and were too obsessed by ‘Partygate’ to do their ‘day job’… (not that the BBC has ben so obsessed by ‘Partygate’ that they spent an average of only about one minute out of ten or fifteen each morning that they have had a government minister on the ‘Today’ programme , actually discussing their ministerial remit, the BBC being itself utterly focussed on nothing but ‘Partygate’.

…fast forward to today, and the BBC can only find people to interview who disagree with government policies being brought forward last week and this, to deal with multiple issues facing the country (none of which happened overnight, of course, and the BBC knows it)…. but now the government is only doing its ‘day job’ to ‘cover’ for the PM.

The BBC have 23 “continuity announcers” or people hired to say “Next we have… etc.

They are to add another 10 younger announcers which begs they question of how many do they bloody need and who will be paying for it? certainly not the “yoof” they are aiming this at who never go anywhere near the BBC.

Even a cursory look at BBC Three schedules appear to show it caters mainly to the classical music scene so they won’t be hearing much about their mates there then!

They also manage to insult the older listeners who do tune in with…

Christie Reynolds is one of the final 10. She’s from Liverpool and is 22 years old.

“It’s so important for people to hear our voices and think: ‘She sounds like me’,” she says.

Omah Howard, 21, who’s also joining the team, agrees:

“People want to hear their mate rather than their granddad.”

BBC Reality Check has examined Boris Johnson’s claim that Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer failed to prosecute Jimmy Savile when he was director of public prosecutions (DPP) and has found no evidence that Sir Keir was involved at any point in the decision not to charge Savile.

The Labour leader called Mr Johnson’s comments a “ridiculous slur” and they have been criticised by the Commons Speaker, Sir Lindsay Hoyle.

Boris Johnson “stands by” his comments, according to the prime minister’s official spokesperson, who declined to repeat them.

Mr Johnson had said that Sir Keir “spent most of his time [as DPP] prosecuting journalists and failing to prosecute Jimmy Savile”.

He made the unfounded claim, which has been discredited before, in the House of Commons where “parliamentary privilege” gives MPs certain legal protections over what they say.
