How long will the BBC campaign to unseat an elected PM go on for ? It is using the same hateful onslaught used daily against president Trump – another politician on the ‘disapproved ‘ list . The answer might be ‘for ever ‘….

The BBC clearly want a windfall tax on the Oil majors in the UK.
At around 0625 on Toady they discuss this and wheel on an ‘expert’.
The first words from Darshini ( the economics presenter) were, in terms, ‘Now Mr X, it should be stated that you are in favour of a windfall tax’.

    Impartiality, BBC style.

Sluff – really shows the bbc agenda versus reality . I’ve got an idea. – why not just fire unapproved politicians and replace them with the BBC – the director general should be the PM – then they can make non possession of a TV licence a criminal offence …. Hang on … did I get something wrong …

Strange how he have 3 oppositions to the government – labour – the SNP and the BBC …..

I think it’s Cummings and co again . If we are coming out of covid the opposition has to make sure that nut nut is discredited .

The other weapon they are trying to mobilise is that it is a ‘Tory cost of living crisis ‘- heard that a few times now ….

Sure – they could have cancelled the NI increase but somehow they expect the money tree to keep growing . Maybe they should have put up VAT on fuel to kill the green lobby at last …

Nice to see gas fields in the North Sea being developed again – next get fracking …increase VAT on pedal cycles …

Yes I know – but there might well have been a few disciples left behind – and I bet a lot of people were cc d on the pictures . There will be more .

The inquiries – Gray Plod will find systematic partying / boozing and a blurring between work and play – which in such a place is inevitable with such a boss …..

The inquiries will say prosecutions could have been carried out but they are ‘timed out ‘….

There will also be criticism of people refusing to answer questions or assisting them because of legal / union advice .
Why would anyone self incriminate ?

Political outfall ? Not much – bit of eye rolling – no vote of no confidence – enemies back in the 1922 box until the next time …
If a few Extreme Right Wing policies come out of it ( eg reducing welfare / taxes – we ll see ) …. People knew they were getting a buffoon when the voted for boris and a good few backbenchers will realise that ..

But it’s a shame that nut nut won’t have the guts to take on the BBC …..

No, Mike Tyson does not still have his pet tiger.

“I did have a pet tiger, her name was Kenya and she was around 550 pounds,” Mike Tyson said. “I had a great affection for her; I kept her, I slept with her, I kept her in my room. She stayed with me; I had her for about 16 years. But she got too old and I had to get rid of her when her eyes and her head got bad. Oh, and she ripped somebody’s arm off.”

Mike acknowledges that it was wrong to keep a wild animal like a tiger in his home. In an Instagram Live with rapper Fat Joe, per Insider, Mike said, “I loved them, I used to sleep with them. I’m just happy I educated myself, I know it was late … but I was doing the wrong s–t. I shouldn’t have had them in my house. I was wrong.”

The Emir of Londonistan ‘interviewed ‘ by meeeshhhaaalll ….god I’d forgotten how bad she is . She doesn’t listen . She doesn’t wait for a reply to a question . Does she have some sort of ‘arrested development ?’ Is it a stress thing ?

Anyway Cressida dick is the current target – they played a list of ms dick’s apologies . The emir wanted to sound statesman like but good old meeshal yapped at him like a puppy – so he didn’t manage to deliver his threat to the commissioner how he wanted .
The emir has commissioned an investigation into met plod – shall I predict the recommendations ?

1 more wimmin in the police – target 80% with 60% queers

2 more coloured folk in plod – hopefully with the ability to speak English

3 plod being banned from using mobile phones

4 more police cars being used by labour politicians as mini cabs

As a Londoner I could not give a toss about plod – I don’t trust them – I don’t see them – I don’t want to know about them . I know if I ever need them all I will get is an excuse and a ‘victim pack( I’ve had a few ) .

Perhaps they can be defunded and replaced by a police force led by a non woke – but not this decade …

The emir was followed by something about a footballer kicking a moggy …. Really ? They had their ‘go to ‘ fruitcake green bloke – packham ? On to have a rant ….

Adele may be a no-show at her own gigs but the entertainment industry is determined to ram her down our throats. Her Las Vegas residency was an expensive flop – but: ‘Queen of pop. Adele dominated the Brit Awards… she was named artist of the year and won best song and album‘ (Times) – in case you were wondering I asked google (on your behalf, dear reader) who decides who wins the Brit Awards?

The winners and nominees are determined by the Brit Awards voting academy with over 1,000 members, which comprise record labels, publishers, managers, agents, media, and previous winners and nominees‘ (Thank you Wiki – in other words – an inside job)

The BBC goes with: ‘Brit Awards 2022: Ballads over bangers as Adele wins big‘ – with a knowing admission: ‘Her victory was so inevitable that organisers had to invent an award, songwriter of the year, to give to poor old Ed Sheeran

The BBC further explains Adele’s prominence – indeed her ubiquity – featured on the front cover of no less than six of our national dailies today – reflects perfectly the state of the pop music industry – album sales are in irreversible decline but Adele still sells a good few million. And one soon concludes the type of audience demographic the self-reflective rather miserablist, no permanent relationship, 30-something songstress balladeer attracts.

So it is another big ladies day in the press today.

Is Judy Dench set for her second Oscar win at 87?‘ (Guardian)

The Times fashion feature tells us which sex are wearing the trousers – literally: ‘The trouser takeover. What the style set are wearing

It’s sexist to suggest Carrie Johnson is above criticism‘ – so says Allison Pearson in the Telegraph.

The ‘i’ hints it thinks there still isn’t enough female influence at the top table: ‘“He-shuffle” Musical chairs after PM’s three months from hell

The ladies ain’t happy with Boris: ‘Marina Hyde. Reboot No10? It’s like trying to reboot Chernobyl‘ (Guradian) – you see… toxic masculinity, obviously.

Those damned blokes – they always tend to mess up: ‘The wife who discovered her husband had secretly gambled away £15 million‘ (Daily Mail)

And aprops that tale of fiduciary incontinence: ‘Despite April NI hike, NHS waiting lists will keep RISING for two more years – leaving millions in pain and asking… Is that all we get for £12 billion?‘ (Daily Mail)

Let’s get back to the subject in hand: ‘Adele’s back – with a sparkler on her finger‘ (Daily Mail)

One wishes her well, personally, but fears another failed romance – and consequently another bloody awful Adele album. The ‘i’ catches the mood in this era of battles of the sexes: ‘Blooming heck Valentine’s Day flower massacre‘ – there you are, luv – there’s your next album title.

The stories our bodies need to tell. 16 women speak in a G2 special‘ – for the uninitiated, G2 is a Guardian suppliment: ‘G2 maintains a mix of serious, hard-hitting reportage, great photography and irreverent takes on the day’s news‘ – for example: ‘The croissant dress: will we develop a taste for food-themed couture? It was supposed to be a moving finale for the Sex and the City spin-off. So why, asked the internet, was Sarah Jessica Parker in an outfit that looked like a French pastry?

Ah, Sex and the City: ‘Marge Simpson has recognised the secret to Sex and the City. “That’s the show about four women acting like gay guys,” she said in a recent episode of The Simpsons‘ (a rare appearance hereabouts from Downunder for the Sydney Morning Herald) – shhhhh! The fact that the Sex and the City girls are really gay guys is supposed to be a secret.

Down market we have: ‘Foul! Rebekah’s vile potty-mouthed rant on Coleen‘ (Daily Mirror)

Ladies with more money than sense go to war… Handbags and sad wags… Vardy labels Coleen a “nasty b****”‘ (Daily Star)

Wag war gets ugly. Libel court shown Rebekah Vardy’s vicious texts‘ (freebie Metro)

Where’s the sisterly solidarity? ‘Carrie Johnson makes me question my feminism. By Yasmin Albhai-Brown‘ (‘i’)

I do however find myself in full agreement with female journo Dawn Neesom in the Star who demands we clamp down on toxic male soccer star and anti-feline Kurt Zoumer – the man who mistook the cat for his football.

By letter dated 7 November 2012, the Home Secretary formally commissioned
Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary (HMIC) to conduct a review to
assess the police knowledge of and response to the historical allegations made
against the late Sir Jimmy Savile and related individuals and potentially into
other similar allegations against other individuals.

    Click to access review-into-allegations-and-intelligence-material-concerning-jimmy-savile.pdf

Savile was not charged with any crime. We respectfully agree with the DPP who
has concluded that there were no insurmountable barriers to a prosecution
being undertaken.55 And so the question remains: why was there not a single
charge laid against Savile. The DPP answers this in part and points toward the
failure of the Sussex and Surrey investigations (the DPP was unaware of the
MPS 2003 investigation) to work together with the CPS to “build” the cases.56

Could this be the peeved chap who is violently anti-brexit and has been donating to the Labour Part for some considerable time?

He probably found out that he couldn’t “buy” the Conservative party so he moved on to trying to “buy” Labour.

No doubt brexit has damaged his personal trading position with the EU.

It’s reached a point now where you have to research every article put out by the likes of the BBC to find the real truth behind the lying headlines. They are becoming a lookalike Morning Star.

I have never know a UK news organisation adopt such an antagonistic and vile stance against an elected Prime Minister. It’s way beyond embarrassing to a childish extent. They really need to have a meet with all the lefty undergraduates in their newsrooms who generate this utter garbage.

Alongside questions about various policing operations and issues of selective enforcement, the Met under Dick has also faced criticism for its record on violent crime. The capital is on track for its worst year ever for teenage killings, with 22 dying this year, 19 of whom had been stabbed including the youngest victim, 14 year-old Fares Maatou. This is despite Dame Cressida telling LBC in May that tackling violent crime was her ‘number one priority.’

How two BBC journalists risked their jobs to reveal the truth about Jimmy Savile
        https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2021/nov/02/jimmy-savile-bbc-journalists-risked-jobs-reveal-truth

Across the news bulletins and weekend front pages, Savile was being given a sendoff fitting for someone who had achieved national treasure status. As BBC Radio 1 DJ, and co-presenter of the BBC’s flagship music programme Top of the Pops, Savile became a personality in the pop music scene in the 60s and 70s; his oddness and mannerisms enhanced his celebrity. As the host of the long-running Saturday evening TV show Jim’ll Fix It, he played godfather, granting the wishes to children who wrote in. On the Monday after his death, during the news editors’ 9.15 morning meeting at BBC headquarters in west London, those present were asked to take coverage of Savile’s funeral seriously. The concern was that the news editors might sneer at Savile; they were reminded that, to much of the audience, Savile was a northern hero. He had started out working in the mines, going on to earn a knighthood and befriend royalty through his television shows and charity work.

Lucky they had Starmer at the CPS. No wonder they are defending him to the hilt. It would be terrible for all of them if the truth actually got out.

    Tolerance part 1 :

The nun asked the class what they wanted to be when they grow up. A little girl raised her hand: Yes Mary, what do you want to be? I want to be a Prostitute when I grow up

The teacher, now red-faced and very sternly said: Mary I will see you after class

Class adjourned and the nun said: Mary, what did you say you wanted to be? Mary replied: I said I want to be a prostitute when I grow up. The nun gave a great sigh of relief “Oh, I thought you said you wanted to be a Protestant

YouTube keeps pushing this #BlackBeltBarrister guy at me
So i click the videos ..yet I don’t like them cos I can see flaws. He doesn’t understand how English law fully works.
eg It’s one thing for a law to exist, and another if police guidelines/practice mean it never actually implemented.

His 6th February 2022 video begins “on Thursday of last week the 3rd of February *2022* the high court handed down a 28 000 pound fine to the BBC”
..Em no it didn’t, that story happed ONE YEAR ago 3rd of February *2021*

BBC wetting themselves over this unicorn fart report no doubt..

“Major breakthrough on nuclear fusion energy“

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-60312633

The experiment still consumed more energy to create the fusion reaction than the energy released by it, by a factor of 90

Or in BBC speak “ Fusion reactions in the lab famously consume more energy to initiate than they can output. At Jet, two 500 megawatt flywheels are used to run the experiments.”
    ( 1000 megawatts)
It was only at the beginning of the report they said it produced 11 megawatts for 5 seconds.

I am 65 years old and viable nuclear fusion has, and always will be 25 years away…
It took from 1997 to 2022 to extend this to 5 seconds I

@davylars The Fusion ignition milestone was last year
when the heat given off by the splitting helium atoms was bigger than the initial spurt of heat needed to start the reaction
Of course that was just for a second or so
If one could contain the hydrogen atoms before they dissipate all that energy, you get a chain reaction as other helium atoms would split an throw off more heat.
The theory is you use a giant magnetic field to stop the hydrogen flying away.
That would be the second milestone called “Fusion-BreakEven”

We had diversity at a place I worked for a while, a Nigerian, he was a nice, kind chap but had no handle on the English language

If I ever feel a little depresed and need cheering up I just recall the mosty fantastic meeting I have ever attended:

What can we do about this to sort it out ?

Nigerian chap says a lot but no one has a clue what he is saying

The engineering manager has some courage and chips in and says (hopefully) yes ?

The Nigerian says “what you mean yes?

    So he then said “no”

Response “what you mean no ?

He then said, “please tell me what you want me to say I dont have a bloody clue”

He then went into a twenty minute Nigerian Solilquy whilst we all went and got some sandwiches

We got a phone call from the engineering manager later, his wife was ill and he would not be back for six months and he didn’t give a f’ck about sick pay

“No handle on the English language”?
Surely, in order to ensure that this kind of thing cannot arise in future, ALL white British school children should be taught, at the very least as a second language, to speak and understand Nigerian Pidgin English from a very early age in order to avoid the rather embarrassing situation depicted in your post.
However, if the Nigerian gentleman was still claiming not to understand then perhaps he could be advised to return to the land of his ancestors where he would be understood and treated like a human being.
