China controls the oil prices now …

Global oil prices have fallen as China starts to implement a city-wide lockdown in Shanghai, an important financial and manufacturing hub.

Brent crude lost more than $4.50 a barrel on concerns that the move would mean that demand for oil will fall.

I wonder how our millenial wokes and bames would get on over there:

“First, no one is going to feel sorry for you if you work to hard in Australia. That is your problem and they don’t want to hear about it. Absolutely no one cares about what is happening in New York or London or Hong Kong or anywhere else. This is Australia mate. No one cares about your experience, what matters is what you do here, not what you did or you think you are still doing somewhere else”.

“When it’s closing time, it’s closing time or a few minutes before. Get used to is, plan for it and don’t complain about it. There is no such thing as ‘help’ in Australia, we don’t like it, we don’t want it and we don’t have a bunch of people who come in to take care of us. We take care of ourselves, better get used to it and don’t talk about that either or you are definitely not going to make friends”.

“Remember, the most important don’t in Australia, is don’t complain. Especially don’t complain about us, we get on with it, we make it work, we figure out the rules and we do it and when we are done we are out there. Out there at the beach, playing cricket, having a barbie, meeting people, definitely having a drink or 2 and yes we do the pick up / drop off and we meet people and we like it just fine”.

Here’s something which has genuinely got me puzzled. Labour mp Dawn Butler has been diagnosed with breast cancer. I’d like to pass on my best wishes, thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery, as any decent soul would. One cancer which is, I believe, on the rise is the occurrence of breast cancer in men. Men have a little tissue in this area, and with the increase in obesity, along come more “man boobs”. I would have expected the bbc to at the very least mention this in the article, but not a word. It seems that their only obsessions are for miscellaneous freaks and perverts, but when a bit or genuine multi-gender news, albeit tragic for all affected, comes along, they seem to drop the ball. Maybe not enough woke/sjw point to be picked up? I can only conclude that the bbc wokers are more interested in how much they appear to care, than how much they actually do.

Having supported a close relative who had early stage breast cancer – at an advanced age – it came as a revelation thar chaps can get it – there is a certain genetic element to this – not just being a fatty ….
The age range of breast cancer sufferers also surprised me – with a sort of u shaped graph with an increase over 60 …

No comment on dawn butler …

There are 56,000 female breast cancers in the UK each year
“but there are 350-400 cases of male breast cancer in the UK each year.”

She will be sentenced in May”

When I look people who admitted to dangerous driving don’t seem to get convicted unless they have done something serious and even then many sentences seem to be suspended.

Meanwhile on YouTube PAP reports Sussex courts fined two anti-lock down protesters “£1,800” for dressing in fancy dress police uniforms at protests with labels that said Peace Officers.
The law does say it is illegal to impersonate an officer with intent to deceive
so it does look like the magistrate judged wrongly.

Trolling the police by parodying them at demos is close to the line
but it doesn’t look like anyone was genuinely deceived
Rather it looks like revenge arrests.

For goodness sake, let’s get a few things straight: most actors are a bit deranged to start with. Then fame, obscene amounts of money, adulation, sex, drugs, booze and whatever other vices they indulge in (there are persistent rumours of Hollywood being rife with paedophilia) send them right over the edge.

Their fragile egos explode, they start believing their own hype and begin to moralise and lecture us, the little people, almost always about woke, leftie issues.

Time to stop watching the moronic effluent that flows out of Hollywood; time to stop paying actors obscene amounts of money; time to scrap all awards ceremonies with their asinine speeches.

Hey luvvies, go do something useful like cleaning toilets and sweeping roads.

For many Nigerian children who have never been abroad, few stories about the West are as fascinating as the fact that electricity can stay on from dusk till dawn seven days a week.

“Ehhhh?!” I’ve often heard children exclaim in amazement when presented with this detail.

No sudden power outages just when mummy is about to iron the blouse she will wear to work, or just when Kelechi Iheanacho is about to take a penalty in a Super Eagles’ World Cup qualifying match.

Not even stories of snow, or underground trains, or double-decker buses, can compare with the wonder of constant power – a basic feature of modern living that has eluded our beloved country for decades.

Nigeria has been going through what is probably the most trying power outage the country has experienced since I was a child.

Some of my fondest memories of childhood in the 1980s are of sitting with my family in our home in the south-eastern town of Umuahia at night, the entire living room dark except for the glow of a kerosene lamp on the wooden centre table.

Read the comments because they are also of masssive value. Can’t be long before the looters hit the supermarkets and courts can’t prosecute the starving for stealing food to eat.

China has foward bought much of the worlds wheat harvest – makes you wonder if they knew in advance, and prices of basic foodstuffs such as cooking oil and rice have almost doubled in price.

The rice harvest will be affected this year because the export bans on fertilisers extends to all countries. It is not really conceivable that countries such as Pakistan or India will allow food to exported at the cost of their own population starving to death, and Britain is a food importing country. That situation has been made worse by fantasy land politicians importing tens / hundreds of thousands of non productive migrants into the country every year.

Come the Autumn when the previous harvests have been sold and the warehouses are expecting new stock there isn’t going to be anything to put in them.

Oh and there’s a potential coming diesel shortage as well just to make people even more happy !

“Problematic” is one of these knowingly woke words; it’s a signal to like-minded lefties that the person saying it is also a boring social justice activist type.

And the story is not problematic. Even a woke puritan can see that: Don Giovanni treats many women badly and at the end sinks into hell for his immorality.

Equality before the law is a basic cornerstone of any civilised country this was known to the ancient Greeks 2500 year ago Plato and Aristotle both recognised it:

“When two persons have equal status in at least one normatively relevant respect, they must be treated equally with regard in this respect. This is the generally accepted formal equality principle that Aristotle articulated in reference to Plato: “treat like cases as like” (Aristotle, Nicomachean Ethics, V.3. 1131a10–b15; Politics, III.9.1280 a8–15, III. 12. 1282b18–23).”

In the UK however we no longer have equality before the law, and our courts have become biased in favour of the Left – massively in their favour, as this case proves.

“Jeremy Corbyn ‘fanatic’ is spared jail for bombarding Oscar-nominated screenwriter with anti-Semitic abuse – 16 months after he walked free for calling Labour MP Margaret Hodge a ‘racist Zionist'”

If this man had been a BNP member and had done this there would have been no suspended sentence and certainly not for a second offence, however we do have other actual cases where someone perceived to be on the right have abused politicians on the Left and the sentencing has been extremely harsh.

“The Campaign Against Antisemitism has branded the suspended sentence ‘absurdly lenient’ and referred the case to the Attorney General under the Unduly Lenient Sentence scheme in the hope it will be increased on appeal”

“Speaking after the sentencing on Friday, Mr Kern said: ‘I have noted the immediacy with which custodial sentences have been handed out for first time offenders who have engaged in other forms of racism.

‘Yet here we have a repeat offender who has embarked upon an unparalleled campaign of hatred against Jews and has been spared prison again and again.”

A man who abused Angela Rayner in far more mild terms, and pleaded guilty at the first opportunity was of previous good character received a sentence of 15 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months, made the subject of a two-year restraining order not to contact Rayner directly or indirectly, not to talk about her on social media and not to go to her office, and The defendant was also ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work and 35 days of a rehabilitation activity. He was made to pay £85 costs and a £128 victim surcharge.

And all that was over a single solitary E-mail, not a string of them as the hard leftie sent.

Our courts are now as biased as the BBC, and like the BBC they won’t accept what they are which is extremely dangerous.

I am noticing more and more that even formerly quiet towns and villages are becoming gridlocked with traffic, I cannot get a doctors appointment or see a dentist easily. I remember when driving after 9 AM was easy, now all day traffic. As for the M25…

We are one of the most densely populated countries in Europe yet the wokes don’t care. They just keep shouting to take more and more and more. The stupidity of this, on so many levels, is astounding .

It is as if they have a death wish, so many of those arriving do NOT CARE about this country, its religion, culture or its inhabitants, many sexually assault our women and children and will take anything and everything they can from us without a second thought.

In London a while ago the amount of mainly middle eastern types brazenly eyeing my wife in the most obvious and inappropriate ways on the tube and elsewhere was extremely disconcerting. I no longer want her to travel alone on a train. Even one on a quiet street outide the Natural History Museum, to the point I had to stop and stare him back. It was that bad, she felt extremely threatened.

They form ghettos where they apply their own culture and demand their own mosques and laws and sod our culture or religion. They protest on our streets attacking our culture, education system, laws and all else while brandishing a UK passport and hating the UK.

Where is the usual litany of artistic freedom claims and “It’s my job to be edgey” whines from our “comedians” ?

Where is the “chorus of criticism and expressions of solidarity” (see above post) we had when a journalist was chased and NOT ASSAULTED by those offended by what he said ?

Can we smack Nish in the mouth if he demands we kill our Brexit parents now with the support of the racist bbc ? or does it depend on whether you is black, innit ?

Can’t wait to see him on the streets……

1 Gross misconduct for violence and foul language

2 Bringing the company into disrepute

Battle of Britain: The schoolgirl who helped design the Spitfire
      Close
Meet the young mathematician who helped design the Spitfire, the iconic aircraft that took part in the Battle of Britain, which started 80 years ago today.

Hazel Hill helped her father do the calculations that meant Spitfires could be built with eight guns instead of four. Many believe this made a big difference to the outcome of the Battle of Britain.

‘The Schoolgirl who Helped Win a War’ will be broadcast on the BBC News Channel at 13.30, 17.30 and 20.30 on Saturday and 10.30 and 16.30 on Sunday. It will also be available on BBC iPlayer.

      BBC is causing mental anguish

Dear Winston Smith at the BBC Complaints Department twinned with the Ministry of Truth as authored by your previous employee Eric Blair,

If the BBC is causing mental anguish by producing News that contradicts reality then should it extinguish itself or at least give people the choice of paying the BBC rather than forcing them to pay a BBC TV TAX under Government protection and threat of prosecution (est. 180,000 in 2017)?

Maybe you can do a BBC programme on it?

      Cheers,
      Mr. H

The BBC in its Fascist pomp makes the usual failure of logic through hate, that all women throughout history have been oppressed by White men, yet fails to account for how women such as Ada Lovelace have become so prominent in the history of mathematics.

BBc : “Oscars: What Will Smith’s slap says about him – and us”

Time for another (pointless) compaint to the bbc for clearly telling the children and others that violence will be excused and condoned by the bbc for black men. It tells the world that the bbc are racist apologists for black violence. That violence is acceptable in the workplace and elsewhere.

I await with anticipation, the mea culpa from the bbc and the airborn pig.

BTW they demand your phone number and address now when complaining, I suppose in the hope that you will be put off proceeding.

    Cheesy edition

One suspects our NHS can’t be too overwhelmed these days, considering they apparenly have the inclination and time for this pointless pursuit: ‘NHS trusts ask male patients if they are pregnant‘ (Telegraph)

I wonder if – post-covid – doctors may oncemore revert to asking men to cough?

And having so recently been persuaded of the efficacy and dire need for the mass rollout of the covid vax, one now reads this report: ‘Drugs do not work for up to 70pc of patients… medical boses have warned as they call for routine rollout of gene tests before treatment‘ (Telegraph)

Not that the more coronaphobic elements of our media are quite yet prepared to let the sleeping dogs… or the dead horse (pick your canine or equine proverb) lie: ‘Self-isolate if you have a cough… but no tests to check if it’s Covid. Government’s new policy revealed‘ – frets the ‘i’ newspaper.

Keeping that pair of animal-related proverbs in mind – it wouldn’t be an FT true-blue and gold-star-spangled frontpage, if there weren’t some regretful reference to Brexit: ‘Chancellor Rishi Sunak, who supported leaving the EU, has admitted that the UK’s dismal recent trade performance compared with other G7 countries “might well be” because of Brexit

One begins to wonder whether true-blue conservative-minded voters were delivered yet another pig in a poke with our Rishi: ‘I never said I was a tax cutter, insists Sunak‘ – the Telegraph highlights another admission made by our millionaire Tory finance minister: ‘Mr Sunak admitted… that he has presided over a rise in taxes to fund a bigger state

One likes to jokingly refer to the “formerly patrioticTimes hereabouts and notes the Daily Express, patriotic by proxy, flies the Ukrainian blue and yellow at its masthead: ‘United with the people of Ukraine‘ is the motto.

Habitually however, our press is none too keen on Britain: ‘The “natives” are no longer grateful. About time‘ – opines Yasmin Alibhai-Brown on the issue of the recent Royal tour in the ‘i’.

The globalist FT seems to have a down on English as a language – perhaps the pro-Brussels paper fears it acts as an unworthy global lingua franca? Today’s FT Datawatch feature complains: ‘English may be dominent among internet users, but English content is still dramatically over-represented online

The Daily Mail promises: ‘Drug therapy that could beat misery of hay fever for ever‘ – yet in the same breath, or sniffle, warns: ‘Can you really trust the label on costly CBD remedies?‘ – which puts us back on the health topic with which we came into this press review. And furthermore should warn us there’s no joy in an obsession with our health… or hypocondria as we used to call it.

And finally, yesterday the Daily Star warned us Nessie might be considered racist – which is really just a sign of the times. One Twitter user commented: “pretty soon pple will be calling the Loch Ness monster a racist or a homophobe. It’s so trendy these days” – now today, while the left-leaning ‘i’ flies the rainbow flag with pride as it explores: ‘Inside Britain’s first LGBT retirement community‘, the irreverent tabloid Star examines, if not the orientation of cheese – either retired, or still on the job – then at least the notion that even our traditional cheeses ought these days to display a liberal outlook: ‘Sexist Stilton
