Well here’s a story which could really land Micron in the brown and smelly, let alone screw up his election chances if it’s true.

Not to mention the mess this would land NATO and the US in and they can even name the captured General

    Antiques roadshow.
The lovely Fiona, casually states, ‘China in the 60’s ,’during the Great Leap Forward. ‘The people suffered wide spread hardship’
Yes Fiona, up to 50 million deaths is widespread hardship I think.
    Why didn’t you say that?
Oh I forgot, you can’t slag off a communist regime can you.?

Now on BBC4 They have selected a book to turn into a performance reading
I bet you are totally surprised it’s about Black “Windrush immigrants facing racism on London”
    .. Everything is about London

The Lonely Londoners portrays the experiences of a group of Caribbean immigrants, known as the Windrush Generation,
who arrived in London in the late 1940s and 50s searching for work and a prosperous future.
Instead, they have to face the harsh realities of living hand to mouth, racism, bleak British weather and bleaker prospects.

Reminder the actual Windrush people were not INVITED to the UK to look for work.
They were just normal passengers buying a ticket. Arrived June 1948.

    Here’s them promoting it

It’s like an alien planet to me, and mine, and the BBC is like some Martian TV channel, made by Martians, for Martians.

Getting rid of live TV, and the TV licence several years back wasn’t at all difficult for a family that couldn’t ever find ANYTHING on we wanted to watch, not just the BBC, or Ch4, but all the channels to be honest (don’t care about the rest, I don’t have to pay for them, but I WAS paying for the BBC).

It really makes me laugh when I hear how this minority or that minority don’t watch TV because there is ‘no one like them’, or ‘nothing relevant to them’ on it, there hasn’t been anyone like me, or anything relevant to me, or even remotely interesting or funny on it for nearly a decade now.

Lots of fuel pumps blocked off and some garages even closed for lack of fuel .
I’m told some of the end oil protesters broke into a refinery and slashed the tyres of tankers .
Anything about this on the BBC ?

      That’s a big claim
XR have always claimed to be non-violent
They did previously let down car tyres.

There are tweets claiming they slashed tyres, but that is not evidence. They are dated April4th, 6th, 7th etc.
A 3 day old Tik Tok video is claimed to be proof
but all it shows is a bloke filming through the depot fence
and saying “see they’ve done every single one

A 6th April Scotsman article talks about shortages in the Southeast of England.

Actually at 5pm LBC started being more alarmist
      .. https://twitter.com/LBCNews/status/1513186487101272070
but I bet they support XR

There are 2 or 3 tweets saying “my petrol station has run out” , but not hundreds.

Eastern England has a fuel shortage and I’ve seen one queue like what happened last September.

My company , delivering food , has a three day delay in diesel delivery .

I’ve not heard any on the radio about this .

Channel 4 doing a big advert for Walkers crisps, after all they have golden boy lineker to look after.

So…. Ends with a sequence in an Indian restaurant, testing Indian flavoured walkers crisps to be more diverse.

Odd thing is there isn’t a friggin Indian in the place, they are all stupid white faced plants, grinning inanely for the camera.

    Another goal for channel 4.

Why oh why do we not see what us going on with this endless pap and embarrassment of forced and embarrassing diversity.

Netflix: Where are the Indians Bridgerton dreamed up really from?

This is a more interesting read than you might think.

The bottom line seems to be that Indians don’t appreciate people messing with their history and culture any more than most Brits do, and find it annoying and cringeworthy, who would have guessed?

Macron wins the first round even without bothering to campaign – the French will always be an enemy – whoever is in charge – so it doesn’t matter a dot .

But at least the FarRight Populist Le Pen has been beaten – so that will be leading in the BBC News for a couple of days or so ….

New threads up for what it’s worth

In the first round the right vote is always split
I don’t understand why for the last 24 hours each bulletin led with the French election.
The outcome Macron 1st then Le Pen, was a formality.
It is the second round that counts.

Protesters at the Kingsbury Oil Terminal in Warwickshire dug a tunnel under a road to gain access to the site.
The tunnel was concealed by a caravan parked on the roadside, and surrounded by protesters.
The Just Stop Oil group said that as police arrested members, five people remained inside the caravan working on the tunnel on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Warwickshire Police said 29 arrests have been made this weekend in connection with ongoing protest activity at Kingsbury Oil Terminal.
What 6 protesters arrested 5 times each and let go ?
