Can’t be 100% sure but pretty sure that on the bBBC 6 pm news Huw Edwards described the ‘devastating’ rise in the cost of living. Cue an obese woman complaining about the cost of food.

What business is it of the BBC to tell us their opinion of the increase in prices?
How about they just report the full not selective facts and we make up our own minds?

  2. Fedup2 says:

I wonder if Huw enjoys the irony of talking about a cost of living crisis when he is on £450 k from the BBC plus his private work – £200k PA …. ?
I don’t envy people getting lots of money – although the source of his income is poorer people still paying their TV licence ….

The civil service union wants to stop the moving of the illegal invaders from here to Rwanda .Because it might be dangerous for the civil servants.
I thought all these enrichers were doctors , scientists and the best from their own countries?
Or according to the fake charities that demand they stay here they’re frightened, vulnerable people that are fleeing horrors , like France .
Well if Border Farce officials are fearful of these migrants , then these migrants are thugs who should not be allowed to stay here .

And the Conservatives are still trying to show they’re the stupid party . Stopping the channel crossings for the safety of the invaders . Like stopping burglars in case they hurt themselves breaking into our homes . As though the do gooders like the BBC will vote for them , and losing the Red wall voters in the process. Political suicide.

As for these “charities “ – lets get back to a charity does what it purports to do and no more . No campaigning, lobbying or false information given out . It used to be a crime to take money under false pretences.

“Not a good way to go for the future of the crown” Well said , Taffman. In fact it could well be a huge understatement.

Hasn’t this clown learned anything about interfering in politics?
Is he so keen on virtue signaling that he is now championing the case of the very people who will want him and has family gone?
Does the royal fool not realize that the only section of the British public that are cheering for the monarchy are the people who want the immigration stopped?
Where were his beloved immigrants at the jubilee? Doesn’t he ask himself this?
I have been a monarchist since the age of twelve, but for how much longer? Once the queen passes on it might be time for a new Cromwell.
Charles the first, managed to turn peaceful Britain into a war torn hell. Charles the third will be the best advert for a republic you could imagine. He will succeed where the best of the socialists have failed. What with Charles, Andrew and the obnoxious Harry I have to conclude nobody can save the House of Windsor from itself.

The queen must be willing herself to stay alive every day because she knows her idiot son will kill the monarchy –
If a future king is hostile to the quality of life of his subjects and favours the arriving third world he must be gone … and if necessary the monarchy with him – all their land can be taken into state control – Buckingham palace could be used as a holding place for illegals pending deportation ….

          • Doublethinker says:

Totally agree. The monarchy depends on the support of the British people not on that of the Commonwealth. In fact I suspect that the Commonwealth costs the British tax payer billions each year and Monarchy is also a tax burden, although with the present incumbent one I approve of.
I’m sure that the majority of Brits want an end to all forms of immigration or at least for it to be reduced drastically. If Charles opposes that view he is treading on thin ice. Ice which is already pretty thin because of his hysterical Greenery. He could well end up as King of some Commonwealth countries but not of England!

Charles makes political comments. The Left will eventually twist them whatever way they can against him.

When the Queen goes, the Monarchy will not be too far behind. Then they can advance complete state control with a suitable President. I expect Blair will suddenly feature a lot on the BBC trying to get back in.

I wonder if that is why the Queen has not abdicted : she know what will happen.

I’ll be out most of tomorrow, so I thought I’d check to see if the only BBC programme I still enjoy will be on in the evening; Dad’s Army. Unfortunately it won’t be…

BBC2 are giving over the entire evening to one of gay abandonment. So, at 8pm we have LGBTQ Plus hits at the BBC. “A celebration of those stars whose gender and sexuality are central to their individual careers and the amazing songs they created.” This is followed by Pride Hits at the BBC. Later we’re to be entertained by Sam Smith (gender-queer) in concert, then Janis Ian, lesbian…and finally in the small hours, a lovely gentle film, The Miseducation of Cameron Post, which tells the story of a teenager sent for gay conversion therapy. Gawd help us!

The bloody BBC is now nothing more than a woke propaganda tool, seemingly run by deviants.

As Corporal Jones always used to say, “They don’t like it up ’em, Captain. They do not like it up ’em!”

Sadly Jonesy, some of ’em do…and they’re forcing it on the rest of us…

If yu’re stuck for something to watch, try this:

Ms Marvel: Critics praise Disney’s ‘joyful’ first Muslim superhero story
      https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-61743910

And to kick off the ‘proof’, they link the The Guardian review by ‘Lucy Mangan’, auther of other aticles such as:

‘The Midwich Cuckoos review – women’s rights are under attack, and this is what they make?’

‘Gentleman Jack Changed My Life review – who knew art still had such power?. Women the world over speak up about how seeing Anne Lister’s life on screen gave them the courage to come out. This is TV as a triumphant act of resistance’

      ‘Lucy Mangan: out, and proud
When the playgroup leader hands round a petition against gay marriage, there’s only one thing for it – head for the door’

      No feminist/LGBT agenda there then.

I looked around the web a bit and it seems the first episode was full of LGBT and woke agenda. And this is the shocking part : it’s aimed at a younger audience than all their other stuff. They are going after young children now. No different from what Dr Who did I suppose and look what a mess that is now.

Of course IMDB is not quite so full of praise – and we won’t get the real story for a month or two when all the fake reviews promoting it die down. But I was stunned by one article I found with the title:

‘Ms. Marvel’ Review-Bombed Into Being The MCU’s Lowest-Scoring Show On IMDB

He shows an IMDB statistic showing it has 41% 10 star reviews and 23% 1 star reviews.

The guy basically rants on about all the racists are giving it 1 star spam reviews. He doesn’t go anywhere near asking why there are so many 10 star reviews (and if you watch the trailer, it most definitely isn’t ten star program).

This is why the Left disgust me so much. They are complete hypocrites. I do wonder if many of them living in their world of groupthink even realise.

Something else I found was that when I searched for the full BBC headline, it appeared all over the place. 2 full pages of search results. It seems certain they have come up with a way to flood the internet news with agenda based stories. This is how the modern Left do fascism. This is just one article : they are doing it relentlessly now. It’s social engineering on a huge scale.

Heir, apparently, comes out in favour of open borders and mass immigration while our media track down former rock stars who vote 100% for the EU

On a morning when former footballer Michael Owen tells us: I don’t want to see my daughter kiss on Love Island, it’s suddenly all kiss and make up between unlikely partners the BBC online press review and the Daily Mail – it had to be love at first sight for our national broadcaster with this headline splash: Charles attacks ‘appalling’ Rwanda scheme. Prince speaks privately of his anger. Claims of past tension with PM

Meanwhile as the BBC has its honeymoon with the Mail, the poor neglected Daily Star languishes, as ever, at the very bottom of the BBC’s newspaper pile despite brave efforts such as: Cow farts to save the planet

Come on the Star, give the boys and girls at the Beeb something more they can work with!

He used to sing about how he wanted to be just like Common People: Jarvis Cocker. Lunch with the FT – stock tips and his views on crypto, we wonder? Sadly, invariably when our modern journos speak with an artist the conversation very soon degenerates into politics and rank punditry: The Pulp frontman on loathing Britpop, a guitar-playing Tony Blair and the evolving business of being human.

That’s a lot of preamble… and now the money shot: That name [Britpop] is so vile because it’s got these connotations of nationalism . . . as the events of the last six years of Brexit show, that kind of jingoism is horrible and corrosive

The Guardian takes their Remain-flavoured rock n rock walk on the rather wilder side: ‘Kate Moss didn’t go to crack dens! That’s why we broke up’ So has the Libertines’ Pete Doherty really put the chaos behind him?

Hmmm, good question: Pete Doherty on swapping crack for camembert in France: ‘It’s easier to be clean here – even for a scoundrel’… (He’s not getting French citizenship, however; instead he hopes to get an Irish passport, thereby ticking the EU box.)

One has to smile at this: How did he feel about being such a mainstay of the tabloids for so long? asks Hadley Freeman of the Graun. To which the old rocker replies: “Well, if they’d been celebrating the music and I looked half-decent, it would have been the dream!” he smiles a little sadly. But they just wanted to write about drugs and Moss? “Yeah, that’s all they wanted to write about.” – touché, Guardian – look back at your own headline.

This is all a tad too edgy, too blatantly anti-Brexit for the Telegraph. Furthermore, the teenagers may complain that we’ve first had dad in the FT and now mum in the Gruan wax lyrical about their favourite pop pin-up artists of the past – now let’s hear from great grandad: Long live the King of rock ‘n’ roll. Austin Butler on playing Elvis…

    Thought for the day…

Anyone else sensing The Graduate vibes here? (Daily Star)

The BBC have: England’s top student loan interest rate cut by 5%

But the Star refers to a celebrity story: Britney Spears ex-hubby crashes singer’s big day, as also featured in the Mirror: Inside Britney’s wild wedding

Mr AsISeeIt’s thought for the day is gosh but Boris must have really upset the establishment with that Brexit thing

Charles Moore in the Telegraph expalains: Getting rid of Boris is like shuffling chairs on the Titanic – agreed, but I say over-used cliché, sir.

Camilla Tominey is on point: Missing: a Brexiteer Tory leadership candidate. – quite! But that’s the point of getting rid of Boris, isn’t it now?.

Does George have a “Little Red Book” for policy I wonder – to ensure ideological rectitude in the troops?

Jenny Bond (one time Royal reporter, and now available for all Celebrity reality shows), heartily agrees with Prince Charles and his right to give his opinion on the Rwanda migration flights, and how ‘appalling’ it is.

Well, how easy for her to speak, from the comfort of her rural home in Devon, with not an asylum seeker on her radar for at least 150 miles.

As for Charles, is there no-one who can save that family from themselves ??? a bigger bunch of idiots it would be harder to find. Interview anyone on the streets, and those inside a working mens pub and as one they’ll all want these chancers air lifted anywhere as long as they don’t stay here ! If Charlie continues down this road he’ll be toast.

Ukraine running out of ammo – officials

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/world-europe-61764008

“Ukrainian officials say their army is running out of ammunition as it engages in intense artillery battles with invading Russian forces.”

Look like they’re running out of soldiers even faster.
Time they stopped begging and started talks.
    Women getting conscripted now?

“In Ukraine, the mobilization of women is being prepared for the purpose of “uninterrupted replenishment of the losses of personnel” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. First of all, until June 15, the mobilization of women who are already liable for military service will start, and until June 31 Ukrainian women from 18 to 60 will be registered for military service.
The order concerns the Dnepropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kirovograd, Nikolaev, Odessa, Kharkov, parts of the Donetsk and Zaporozhye regions.”

“In the Transcarpathian region, the Ukrainian military is handing out summonses to those liable for military service.
Near one of the shops they “caught” several young people, one escaped.”

Looks almost like the old press gang days,
7-Eleven / lido replacing the seaside inn at midnight..

The attrition rate of Ukraine military ( 100 dead a day quoted recently with 500 injured ?) added to reduced ordnance surely points to Russia gradually wearing them down ?

The longer it goes on – with resultant financial and commodity strain – the more must be the likelihood that western support for Ukraine reduces .

Bearing in mind that the EU still a lot but still buys oil and gas from Russia – but only makes promises with regard to ‘kit’ then perhaps the writing is on the wall for Ukraine . If I was putin I’d keep going because he knows Russia can suffer the pain more than the West can ….
The whole thing is almost as much of an experiment in the ability of nations to experience suffering as covid is …
But we have been lucky – so far – that the war hasn’t widened either by accident or purpose …

… and then the Iranians test their nuclear bomb …. And it’s war in the Middle East …

There is a muddled piece in the bbc newspaper today about the chap who got 8 years for being a member of a terrorist group –
    This is the concluding paragraph

STARTS We (thankfully) haven’t witnessed a successful large-scale act of terrorism from a far-right extremist since the 1999 London nail bombings. However in the years since National Action was proscribed, 70 people have been convicted of far-right terror offences, including many who had plotted and prepared to carry out acts of murder and terrorism. We must be vigilant and educate ourselves to this new terror threat, if we are to prevent atrocities in the future.END the source of this is someone from ‘hope not hate ‘…

I am vexed because all ? The terrorism Blighty has been subject to in recent decades has been Islamic – yet ‘far right ‘terrorism is – we are told – the biggest threat …
This virtue signalling by promotion hungry trolls is put out to soften the public to rule by Islam – which is already using threats to get films and books and people ‘cancelled ‘….

    Not a good situation …

Concern is growing about the safety of Christians in the country after the recent church attack.

Are attacks on Christians in Nigeria on the rise?

Unlike Pete, I am not part of a £5B news organisation, but given the facts, weekly, for years, i read, I am erring on ‘yes’.

However, some person of color and faith getting a nasty look closer to home does seem to be deemed more newsworthy.
