If anyone is looking for a cheap emergency stove for the eventuallity of power cuts this Autumn Winter this might be a good buy:

    https://www.fishingrepublic.co.uk/15908529/oex-tacana-solo-stove-set-15908529?awc=24150_1656175144_d324c05657f490a93cd4fac5fdcfcddc&utm_source=affiliate&utm_medium=Sub+Networks&utm_campaign=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.digidip.net%2F

OEX Tacana Solo Stove set Use the code WELCOME10 for get the price down to £31.50 Supposedly its RRP is £90 but Amazon is selling it for £40, so that might be nearer the mark.

Having a hot drink or meal when it’s cold outside can mean the difference between life and death, and we don’t know how long we might go without power.

Crazy Boris is already giving away our food stores like some demented Father Xmas so don’t expect there to be anything left for us when times get tough.

I didn’t see any blood. Having (generally accidentally) superglued myself to all sorts in my time, the separation is only painful if there are any hairs involved (arm hair usually). otherwise it’s just the (dead and nerveless) outer skin cells sloughing off and you barely feel it.

Only werewolves and vampires have hair on the palms of their hands.

Also, you can’t actually superglue anything to a wet surface properly in the first place.

Oh, and isn’t superglue (cyanoacrylate) bad for the environment and made from oil derivatives?

There’s an interesting “filler” story on the bbc which has, as part of the tale, a 100% woke viewpoint. A lady who collects vinyl records was shocked to discover that a relative had sold 16 valuable first pressings (Of some mighty fine artists, I would add) for £15 at a car boot sale. Now, they are desperately trying to track down the buyer to get them back “It’s not the money, we will pay for their return”. Now love, pay attention, these were sold, they were bought, the buyer got a bargain. Why are you expecting to buy them back due to your relatives’ mistake? It doesn’t work like that in grown-up land. The bbc don’t directly pass comment, but at no point do they venture that maybe life is sometimes tough, rather allowing this gonk to say that it’s all so unfair.

Oslo shooting: Norway attack being treated as Islamist terrorism, police say

So will the Norwegian Police finally get their act together and go after these pond life they welcomed into their Country?

Apparently the perpetrator had lots of form and should have been banished from society before he had chance to run amok.

On other matters, the BBC are busily trying to build the communist RMT bloke Lynch into a modern day Robin Hood, stealing from the rich to give to the poor (£50,000 a year) train drivers. Quite obviously an attempt to stir up the anti Boris shit again.

And have they blamed the gun for killing those people yet ?. That seems to be the latest way to deflect the blame.

And God only knows how much of our tax money is being spent to try and monitor them all while so many crimes against the people who pay that tax do not even get investigated.

Child rape by Asians in Northern towns was widely known about by the white population for decades. I remember discussing it with people I knew from Bolton thirty years ago. I must admit I put it down to casual racism because I couldn’t understand why, if true, it wasn’t in the news or why the Police were doing nothing about it.
Remember though there were characters like Cyril Smith, in Rochdale, and other White pillars of society who were up to no good as well. It seems there was some kind of mutual understanding between the authorities and the Asian community not to do anything about it.

Just watching a bit of Glastonbury on the BBC but think we’ll be switching channels very soon!

Although the crowd seems exclusively white the BBC are doing their bit for diversity two presenters one black of course and then they go to a roving reporter a black woman called Remi Burgz….hold that a minute she seems a bit masculine a quick google and I’m non the wiser! Assigned female at birth,is a masuline trans person etc

They also seem to show quite a few black artists.
One more thing I’ve seem two different acts the past two days who have had bearded men in dresses and another one with beard and makeup of course it could just be a ploy to get on TV as they now the BBC will lap that kind of stuff up.

It’s been a few years since that was introduced so don’t know why it relevant? Anyway she replies that she works just as hard as the men.Maybe you do when training but you get prize money for playing and how well you do and womens games are regularly finished in half the time of mens games due to the fact they play best of three sets to mens five so you don’t work just as hard for the money!

Glastonbury: Zelensky addresses crowd as Libertines kick off festival
    https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-61925578

‘He asked festival-goes to “help Ukrainians who are forced to flee their homes” by putting “pressure on politicians” around the world.

“The more people who join us in defending freedom and the truth, the sooner Russia’s war will end,” he said.’

For some reason I feel very, very uneasy about Zelensky. He certainly knows how to organise a TV show and this sounds more like Simon Cowell than the President of some other country. He is very clearly happy to start WW3 to save his skin.

Meanwhile I learn from youtube that Russian launched 200-300 cruise missiles at various targets yesterday and the Ukranian army in the East is perilously close to collapse and 2,000-4,0000 troops being surrounded – while the BBC tell me the Ukranian ‘military has retreated to more prepared positions’ and ‘Ukrainian troops resisted a massive Russian offensive for weeks in Severodonetsk.’. And lost BBC. It was not a victory.

What is clear is that if nothing changes, Ukraine has no chance. The wonder days of all the free Javelin missiles are over and it’s back to infantry hiding in foxholes waiting for an assault until finally they run out of men and sue for peace. I bet a lot of defence companies are rubbing their hands together with the excitement and potential profits.

    Worthy Farm edition
No sex, no plastics – but lots of antiquated rock n roll

“War! Huh, yeah, What is it good for? Absolutely nothing, uhh”

So said soul singer Edwin Starr in 1969 in the shadow of Vietnam. Don’t think he got the invite to the interestingly white Woodstock but Jimi Hendrix did and the thought was there.

Many artists have covered the track

    “Say it again, y’all!”

Liverpudlian gay band Frankie Goes to Hollywood covered it in 1984 presumably to dissuade the west – personified in the shape of Thatcher and Reagan – from winning the Cold War. Wrongheaded perhaps but the sentiment could at least be said to be admirably pacifist.

Oh how “times they are a changin'” (Bob Dylan) …

Zelensky’s surprise Glastonbury message calls world to ‘spread truth’ over Russia invasion… Time is priceless and every day is measured in human lives. The more people join us in defending freedom and truth, the sooner Russia’s war against Ukraine will end… He finished his message by saying “Slava Ukraini”, which translates as “glory to Ukraine” in English, which was met with loud and rolling cheers and applause across those gathered at the stage in Worthy Farm, Somerset. (Mirror)

If Glasto is an outdoor form of stand-in religious revival ceremony for the new liberal cultism, then it’s a fairly Onward Christian Soldiers muscular non-christianity version on show this time.

“Give peace a chance” ? (John Lennon, Plastic Ono Band – oh-no, plastics are banned nowadays)

I doubt many Glastonbury revellers will actually be joining up: Ukraine war: Inside Ukraine’s International Legion of foreign fighters. It’s been more than 100 days since the start of the war in Ukraine. Since then, thousands of foreign soldiers have joined the fight against Russia. (BBC)

As they used to say – want a new pair of boots? Join the army!

However, some military-style uniforms – oddly akin to a psychedelicly-coloured Salvation Army band – forget Zelensky’s khaki vest (Kharkiv vest?) – were on show in Somerset this weekend: Spirit of Sgt Pepper lives on at Glastonbury. Festivalgoers pay homage to the Beatles as they wait for 80-year-old Sir Paul MCCartney’s headline act (Telegraph)

    Youth culture, eh?

Interestingly (to borrow a word from Sir Lenny Henry) if Zelensky was the headliner, then sadly, relegated to the support act was: Greta at Glastonbury (Observer) – we reacall the phrase “swords into ploughshares” now as her Swedish homeland – once paragon of non-aligned neutrality – rushes to cosy up under the Nato nuclear unbrella – could it be a case of beating our wind turbines into swords?

Kate’s thanks for “sacrifice” on Armed Forces Day (Sunday Express) – that’ll be the sacrifice as a consequence of defence cuts of thousands of our formerly serving military being made redundant over the years?

I quit for Coleen. Real reason Roo walked from top job at Derby. Wayne wants to spend more time with wife and their boys. (Sunday People) – and less time with the women and the booze?

Of course the new deadly sins we must confess to are oddly domestic: The Big Plastic Count: Consumers confront their plastic footprint (BBC)

Since sex went of fashion: Hound dog. Elvis loved his image more than his women (Sunday Telegraph) – and for the female perspective: Love Island Laura: My dating disasters (Sunday Mirror)

Defender of the Faithfull? Charles accepted Euro1m cash in suitcase from Sheikh (Sunday Times) – Euros… presumably it would have looked bad for the bank notes in question to have had his mum’s portrait on them?

Slavery must be as widely taught as Holocaust, says Charles (Sunday Telegraph) as the heir to the throne somewhat echoes the shallow foot-in-mouth thoughts of Whoopi Goldberg: Whoopi Goldberg’s Holocaust remarks drew on a misguided idea of racism…”This is white people doing it to white people, so y’all gonna fight amongst yourselves.”… An obsession with ‘white privilege’ can blind us to the realites of race (thank goodness for the Guardian, always here to explain it all to us)

‘Teach pupils about Britain’s place in the slave trade’ Prince Charles (Sunday Express) – but pocket that bag of cash and keep rather shtum about the Arab slave trade? Don’t be too hard on Charles – all our universities are at the same game.

How’s our most diverse ever Downing Street cabinet doing?

Javid reveals survivor’s guilt over suicide of older brother (Sunday Times)

Priti breaks law in another asylum scandal (Sunday Mirror)

France has often leaned toward Russia as an ally: Don’t betray Ukraine, Truss warns Macron (Sunday Telegraph)

    On a lighter note…

Sunday Times house cartoonist Newman often disappoints, the liberal centre-left do struggle to be properly funny. Today he almost over-eggs it but we’ll give him a B+ for effort as his ancient Darby and Joan pairing brandish a newspaper headline reading “OAPs to get 10% extra” and consequently exclaim “Hooray! We can afford tickets to see the Rolling Stones!”

More to our satirical taste is Matt with his somewhat anarchic conservative bent in the Sunday Telegraph. His estate agent points toward “This property is an absolute bargain. It’s close to a train station, so it’s cut off from everywhere” – I’d award five stars had he written railway station.

You know that age when police officers start to look young? Of course one now finds high court judges appearing suspiciously youthful. It comes to a pretty pass when one feels obliged to pick on the Telegraph for its use of lazy trans-Atlantic idioms.

Nevertheless, Mr AsISeeIt can still take a leaf from the youthful Emma Raducanu’s book and declare himself fit!

Many people do not appear to know that our dear leader Red Boris, not content with giving away so much military kit that he has eaten into the Armys core supplies of ordnance, and that it cannot now be replaced in any reasonable time scale, that he has promised so much that in many cases there is nothing left to give and he is having to buy it with our taxpayers money from foreign governments so he can give it away !

But then it starts to get worse, because as we are not immenently under threat of attack it won’t affect most people, or their lives, and many people hate this one party state so much they take the view that even if Putin did take control it probably wouldn’t be much worse! Boris like some kind of swivel eyed demented father Xmas has begun to give away our emergency food supplies.

This means that if there is a point this Winter when Britain is affected by food shortages or even famine as seems quite possible, the food that was meant to keep this countries population from starving to death, simply isn’t going to be there, and unlike the weapons systems, he isn’t going to be able to go to other countries to buy their food, because they aren’t going to have any either.

    https://www.gov.uk/government/news/pm-pledges-new-support-for-countries-on-the-food-security-frontline

Boris has to be stopped from doing this and people need to be made aware of what he is up to. We are not the worlds foodbank and this is not something we can afford to do, the real hard times haven’t even arrived yet so what is going to happen when they do?

Come the Winter when Russia has cut the gas supplies to Europe, you just know Red Boris playing Santa is going to give away our gas as well leaving us in this country to freeze, all so he can grandstand his Socialism and his allegiance to the European Liberal Elite, and all at our expense because as sure as hell we the British people will get no benefit from it what so ever.

“The black stuff in question, under the Irish Sea, is what is called metallurgical coal, which is used in making steel.
Around 40% of this type of coal the UK needs is imported from – yes, you guessed it – Russia.”

Yeah I guessed it, because they’re not run by retards.

From a report for the same survey:

‘In 2018, 75% of respondents reported trusting the corporation’s coverage, while 11% didn’t. In 2022, that figure had shifted to 55% and 26% respectively.’

That’s a huge shift. I bet Reuters didn’t mention that.

But ‘How many people trust …’ is one of those selected questions aiming for a certain result. It doesn’t mean in any way that you CAN trust them. The BBC has massive funding and plays every trick in the book to make you think what they want you to think. My list currently has 8 different ways the BBC mislead and lie – but they rarely directly say something which is not true. Unless people use the internet to check stories, they will never know. The BBC are very, very experienced at hiding the bits of the truth they don’t want you to know.

I wonder how many people who do not trust GB News have ever watched it.

Looking at that it seems that the left dominate the high trusted positions and the right are at the bottom (although I don’t know what the mirror is doing there. Probably the guardian reader type think it’s for the ignorant down and outs)

I would bet that if you could show a pie chart of those in this survey that it would be very much left wing orientated with the right having about a quarter of the pie.

      In other news.
I’ve heard that if Putin cuts the gas supply to Europe this winter it could be the start of a Cold War.

      https://nonbinary.miraheze.org/wiki/List_of_nonbinary_identities

This alphabetical list of some of the more common nonbinary identities lists many gender identities that are nonbinary. That is, those other than just female and male identities, which are the binary genders. This list gives names for nonbinary identities in English-speaking cultures, as well as those that are part of other cultures. (For the latter, please never use a word for your gender that belongs only to a culture or ethnic group that is not yours.) Some of these words for nonbinary identities have been used in writing for thousands of years. Meanwhile, some of these words were created more recently. This page lists fewer of the older gender-variant identities than the new ones, because it can be harder to say whether it’s accurate to put those in the category of “nonbinary.” See also List of uncommon nonbinary identities.

boi. A queer masculine identity which is not cis-heteronormative.[31] Boi originated in African American culture during the 1990s. It covers a wide variety of alternative masculine identities in emo, BDSM, gay male, lesbian, and genderqueer communities. For some, but not all, boi is an identity outside the gender binary. Not all who use it are people of color. Definitions of “boi” vary widely.[32][33][34][35] In the 2016 Nonbinary/Genderqueer Survey, 3 of the respondents said their gender was boi.[3] In the 2019 Worldwide Gender Census, 76 of the respondents (0.68%) said their gender was boi, or used boi as part of a word for their gender identity, such as femme boy, femboi, tomboi, or demiboy.[4]

The EU brigade, emboldened by the partisan mainstream media like the BBC are pushing their puppet Zelensky and seem to be doing everything they can to belittle, embarrass and force Putin to retaliate until he says ‘Oh fu** you all!’ and unleashes nuclear armegeddon on Western Europe.

If he does, there will be no mercy and Europe will be a smoking wasteland unlike Russia which will still have vast tracts of untouched land to fall back on. Putin knows this and may see this as the only acceptable option for his Country. Hope to God it doesn’t come to this point but looking more and more likely as the Western leaders puff up their chests and crow like demented cockerels trying for woke brownie points.
