Midweek 13 July 2022

Be in no doubt that as the BBC bury the Report on mass child sexual abuse in Telford their fight with the British Military will be pushed on . Some people ask what evidence of anti British Bias is there ? Well the 2 issues above help answer that question. Dump your TV licence – end your Direct Debit .
The site has been playing up from time to time recently – lets hope it gets cured .

Excellent idea . Any income derived as an MP – no book writing in their ‘ spare time ‘ – no donations ( bribes from unions or companies ) – good news …
And put axlower ceiling on expenses to . And close the bars in the palace of westminster …- its a workplace – not a club ..
Never a shortage of politicians …

Channel 4 privatisation v BBC TV license.
I thought this worth reproducing from Telegraph letters.
In its annual report for 2021, Channel 4 on Friday lauded its “strongest-ever financial performance,” with revenue topping the £1 billion mark for the first time with £1.2 billion ($1.4 billion), up 25 percent over 2020. “This is also a significant increase of 18 percent on 2019’s pre-pandemic revenues,” it said. With “TV advertising continuing to beat expectations in 2021,” digital advertising for the latest year jumped 40 percent to account for 19 percent of total revenue.

Channel 4 also reported a record pre-tax surplus, or profit, of £101 million ($120 million), up 36 percent. That gain came despite Channel 4 spending £671 million on content in 2021, its third-highest content spend ever and a 29 percent increase over 2020.

The broadcaster noted that the “U.K.’s biggest free streaming service, All 4, (delivered a) record-breaking performance with 1.5 billion views” and was “on track to deliver 2 billion by 2025.”

Perhaps the BBC should be sold ? In the year ending March 31, 2022, the BBC saw an income of approximately 5.33 billion British pounds. Of this, 3.8 billion British pounds were attributed to the license fees paid by UK households.

    (Thanks spot on CH)

I tend to agree that Channel 4 is preferential to the BBC even though they are both media Left Wringers, C4 pays for itself whilst the BBC exists only because of the oddity of a TV license and its political affiliations to progressive socialism. its openly biased but would loose its TV Charter (which it exploits) when asked to justify itself. Its time is running out. I just hope Nadine Dorries is still up to the task (presuming she survives the next re-shuffle). I hope so.

Halifax are you sure that is what you saw ?
      I searched for a photo
but found no mention of a “Governor of the Moon”
nor any photos of anyone in a hijab
The cast is multiracial, as you’d expect if they want to sell to lot of countries

I can’t see anything coming of the racism shown so overtly by a commentator ….

…just been watching the C4 Tory thing … but I noticed a smell as it went on -=- it was the smell of globalism – …

Not much referencing to Brexit or the invasion of foreigners of all varieties being permitted by the blue Labour Party. I thought it was all pretty poor .

Thank god no one played the race card

I was hoping rishi would proudly claim responsibility for bankrupting the country but the inflation and its dire effects wasn’t caused by him borrowing huge amounts to be lost through fraud – bribes – dumb schemes …

Mordent reminded me of tessie mays younger sister

      Truss looked awful

The femi one is just a lightweight

I’m surprised Tommy tookenhart – the Frenchie didn’t turn up in an army combat suit – god does he goes on about it . If you look at the jobs he had in the military they were all Staff jobs – yet you’d think he’d fought the war …

And god knows what that was doing on C4 …

I watched about 20 minutes of the debate and I was totally underwhelmed. If that’s all we’ve got to run the country then I’m afraid we are in for a long hard winter, speaking of which we are due a bad un.

I wonder if the bbbc and the rest of the msm have shot themselves in the foot by getting rid of Boris.

I don’t think any of those still in the running are as far to the left as Boris.

They could well find a much more conservative PM replacing him.

Truss did say she d get rid of the green levies ( won’t happen ) but they all seem wedded to the mad net zero thing for 2050 .. just dumb dumb dumb …

I can’t see any room for a conservative now – covid has addicted so many people to a ‘work life balance ‘ – only a deep recession is gonna cure that –
Then there is undeserved welfare payments and the fraud that goes with it – an NHS addicted to failure and screaming for more money every time it fails . There is no expectation of success and no one could dare challenge the monster – bit like the BBC eh ?

Stew – not a criticism of you – but I think we should drop the word ‘grooming ‘- I’m guilty of using it too – maybe organised child rape or similar – it still doesn’t describe the violence and corruption of children – however ‘rough ‘ they may be …
