5pm R4 The Today Debate: Turning the Economy Around
    Today
    A debate ?
The first 10 mins was the carefully crafted brainwash montage you expect from BBC
Mishal Husain introduced a collage made of GOTCHAS from the today prog

    Sad mother speaks
“my little luvvie got out two bowls of cereal, and I said don’t be greedy,
and he said ‘no mum this one is for you, I haven’t seen you eat in days”

(.. and the BBC audience all cried)

Followed by a clip of Starmer..

Intro “Chambers of commerce say that British growth will likely fall to a halt THIS YEAR”
..Starmer “We haven’t had economic growth for 12 years now, there is no point PRETENDING ..wages have been stuck for the best part of a decade
.. that’s why WE as a country have been hit harder with the cost of living CRISIS

    ..it continued on like that

That’s #ConstantMediaGaslighting ..wages did rise, basic food is dirt cheap .. the poorest do not just eat cereal

There are real things , like property costs take a huge part of people’s incomes, the NHS is a bit crap, mad green policies have caused an energy crisis which pushes up the cost of everything etc.

Our local supermarkets are awash with cheap strawberries now ..a pound a punnet and 50p later on

I have just put 200g of Channa, chick peas to soak overnight. It makes around 6 portions of a superfood curry which costs under a pound to make.

      Here is the recipe:

      https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/chana-masala

One of the things the BBC can get right!

The point to my making this is not about the cost or nutritional benefits dried chickpeas will store indefinitely and can be used to make many other dishes as well.

As gardening is judged as racist these days, I’m surprised that the BBC have programmes where they encourage this important activity of work and delight, which is a fabulous leisure act/pastime/life-saver, but is hardly ever practised by bames and similar foreigners.

It’s a British passion, which is part of our culture, and if newcomers cannot grasp that, then they only have themselves to blame.

I ignore the crap that Gardener’s World has become, and just go to important Allotment/Gardening blogs, where decent citizens share their experiences, abhor the green issues where they can, (some like ‘organic’ stuff for some odd reason, but it takes all sorts), and just get on with producing their vegetables, flowers and deploy natural issues to complement the awful rubbish dished out by the trashy ‘diverse’ bollox from W1AA, who want to kill the hope for a unaffected existence, and stifle gardening using traditional methods!

You’ll find out who is a vegan, because after just a few minutes, they’ll tell you, but there’s more to life than ‘bottom burps’ to save the planet…

I’ve met two (2) BAME people who’re really into gardening, and the rural countryside, out of what must be several hundred who most definitely are not.

One of these two was a young Kikuyu (the ‘gardeners of Africa’) woman, and the other is a retired Gurkha.

On my allotments (it’s a big site, but I think I’ve met just about everyone now) we have a nice Polish family, an Italian woman married to an English guy, a family of Greeks, and the Gurkha I mentioned above, everyone else, is British, but from all corners of these islands, both genders, and all ages/walks of life. Given there are around 200 plots, that works out at something like 1.75% non-British and 0.5% BAME – I suspect it’s typical of allotments up and down the country.

If the BBC did a documentary about our allotments they’d only film the Gurkha (who’d hate it, because he’s very quiet and shy), and then have to fly in a black girl in a hijab and a disabled lesbian in a wheelchair with blue hair – ‘cos we don’t have either of those.

Bit late responding, but you know Flots, if you really wanted to get on TV the trick would be to have a framed photo of Magic Gramps on his allotment up in your rainbow-hued shed, flying the LBGTQ+ swastika, and wear pink wellies and a sequined dress… unfortunately (for the BBC) I have none of those, but I do have a sign saying “Trespassers will be composted”.

A man has been charged with murder after a nine-year-old girl was stabbed to death in a town centre.

Lillia Valutyte was found with a stab wound in Fountain Lane in Boston, Lincolnshire, on Thursday.

She had reportedly been playing hula hoop with her younger sister in the street before being stabbed.

Lincolnshire Police said Lithuanian national Deividas Skebas, 22, had been charged with her murder and was due to appear before magistrates on Monday.

Difficult for the BBC. On the one hand they will continue to tell us that this is as important as 1966 and press for another bloody Bank Holiday, which is the last thing this country needs. On the other they will wag their finger because the England team are all white and therefore racist. I suppose we should congratulate the girls because the current crop of England so-called โ€˜menโ€™ and their supine manager will never get near 1966.

7:16pm This evening (31 July) we have charged 22-year-old Deividas Skebas, of Thorold Street, Boston, with the murder of nine-year-old Lilia Valutyte.

How come Sharon Davies that well known trans denier is still working for the bBBC at the swimming in the Commonwealth Games? I thought that the bBBC had decided that men were women and women were men, and the rest are the inbetweenies, neither girls nor boys(apologies to Ovaltine for nicking their slogan).

There are at least 3 black girls in the England squad. Have they always been there or have they been added of for a bit of ‘colour’ just recently?
