First feature. A discussion on …….the impact on Londoners of the financial measures announced by Hunt.

And then this. I quote ‘we’ll be joined by the Mayor Sadiq Khan to discuss them’.

The bias is so totally brazen the BBC clearly sees itself as untouchable.

‘Early on Saturday, police arrested the main suspect in the killing – a 24-year-old Algerian-born woman named in the press as Dahbia B. The woman was identifiable on a security video taken at the apartment building, in which she was seen entering the main door on Friday afternoon in the company of Lola. Later she was seen leaving the building pulling a container and then acting incoherently on the street. One eyewitness said she asked for help in return for money from an “organ-trafficking affair”.

However, police said they did not believe this was a serious lead. Their most plausible theory is that Dahbia B, who has no fixed abode, is psychologically unstable and that her act was “gratuitous”.’

Perhaps, one day, the general public might ask, if the enrichers are so prone to being ‘psychologically unstable’ or suffering from ‘mental issues’, or inclined towards ‘gratuitous’ acts of violence”:

      (1) Why are they being imported in such vast quantities?
      (2) To what degree are those who advovate and facilitate such immigration, liable for the subsequent actions of the said enrichers?

It was almost made out to be her fault for going alone through the park after dark.

Get a grip, Stew, the PM is toast. We don’t need an election, her own party are actively queuing up to stab her in the back. It will be a minor miracle if she survives til Christmas. Et tu Brutus, or something like that…

At the moment we have one of the most odious little toads in parliament calling the shots. Jeremy Hunt, the man who praised China’s insane zero covid strategy, praised them for locking up his own sister and is a rabid Remainer, has tossed the previous budget out the window and within two days of being appointed completely rewritten it. Remarkable, anyone would think he was expecting the appointment…

Let’s be honest, the Tories have been in power for 12 years and, Brexit excepted, what have they achieved?

Mass immigration on a scale even Enoch could barely imagine. Illegals pouring in daily. Huge tax bills. Monumental debts. Green fanaticism.

I didn’t vote Conservative because I like the colour blue or for any tribal alliance, I actually wanted them to be culturally and fiscally conservative. They haven’t been.

The BBC play to get rid of Boris was genius. They damaged him with their relentless daily propaganda up to the point where the other snakes in our government thought they had a chance to make PM (especially Sunak and Javid). Then when the house started collapsing, they frantically played politics for their own ends. And now they smell blood again.

If I’m honest, the dire state of the Conservatives and their back-stabbing ever since Brexit means I know they deserve to be totally destroyed and something new built which is not so utterly corrupt.

The problem I have with that is it means an interim Labour government who are even worse and have absolutely no scuples about what they do for their own ends. They barely bother to conceal their hatred these days and I fear we are heading for a very, very bad time ahead as society gets split right down the middle and we drift to war on the coat-tails of the most incompetent leader the USA has ever known.

And the cause of all of this is Princess Nut-Nut. Cummins could have sorted the BBC out but Boris bottled it for an easier life and regular pumping. And now he has paid the price.

Jeremy Hunt. It is indeed strange that he should come up with a radically new Budget in a couple of days, it isn’t possible. He either had the nod a while ago or he was handed a ready prepared set of budget proposals and financial projections to announce. In other words it was written by the Civil Service and Treasury people before he was Chancellor.
Kwasi was condemned for not having OBR reports etc but as far as I know Hunt hasn’t either but no one is saying anything about that.

Flotsam that is what I believe as well-but what must not happen yet is for Liz Truss to be removed as PM. Certainly this nation does not want an individual of Indian origin to be PM or indeed J Hunt. If it were my shout I would go for Penny Mordent who is tougher then Truss, with Hunt as Foreign Secretary, and Truss as Chancellor. Steady the ship for a year at least and if poss avoid a General Election which I think will just agitate the Electoriate.

    • Up2snuff says:

Probably not, Flotsam. Although they met over a lunch at Chequers, Hunt will probably have appraised the PM of a few home truths that he would have learned at Health. The Health Budget is the biggest single item of UK expenditure. That might have taken ten minutes maximum; a break between the starter and the main course maybe.

Next, the new Chancellor would have explained to the PM how the tax cuts would be perceived by the voting public, especially the cutting of the Top Rate of IT. That in combo with removing the curb on bankers’ bonuses (although it would help in curbing pay inflation in commercial banks) it still looks bad to both floating voters and those who have switched to voting Conservative in the northern ‘Red Wall’ seats. That could have been tackled while eating the main course. In the break before dessert, Hunt will have offered and have agreed to be the one to make a statement to the House reversing most, if not all, of Truss’s & Kwarteng’s ‘fiscal event’ now known as the ‘Fiscal Non-Event of a Lifetime’.

By the time the cheeseboard had arrived, Truss would have realised the difficulty she was in and would have conceded. All Hunt had to do was go home and write it up for an hour or two. Polish it in the morning for the midday speech with a copy messengered over to No.10 to make sure the PM was appraised of everything.

The OBR will need to wait for the cuts that Hunt will outline. The adjustments are coming thick and fast: today it was abandoning Liz Truss’s desire to keep the Triple Lock on Pension increases. Expect an announcement for an announcement for a date for a Spending Cuts statement.

In the context of ‘racism’ in the Met Police, how about this quote?

‘Despite making up only 13% of London’s total population, black Londoners account for 45% of London’s knife murder victims, 61% of knife murder perpetrators and 53% of knife crime perpetrators.’u

Now who could possibly come up with such ‘racist’ commentary? Some right wing white supremacist racist extremist presumably.

Step forward…..the Mayor of London and London Assembly !!!! Bet you didn’t guess that! But how would you, given Sad Dick’s typical rants on the matter.

I seem to be caught up in a game trying to find out just how fascist the BBC have become and just how far they will go to delete comments on HYS if we don’t stick to the approved agenda.

This ‘kamikazi drone’ escalation hype against Russia is absolute fake news – and some of the comments are outright fanatical. They are whipping people into a complete frenzy of hate.

The truth is that the Ukranians themselves have using them for months. So I made this comment:

‘I saw a video on you tube weeks ago showing a Ukrainian kamikazi drone hitting an oil refinery. They have been using them for ages.

What a shame the average BBC reader these days does not have the wit to research things for themselves.

Here’s a starter for 10 : search for Ukraine Warmate Kamikaze Drone then wonder why you didn’t know about them already.’

It was very quickly deleted for:
‘Are considered likely to disrupt, provoke, attack or offend others’

Their globalist agenda is under threat : the socialist Nazis are back and only their ‘truth’ is allowed. They haven’t changed a bit.

Ukraine war: US says Iranian drones breach sanctions
      https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-63294698

‘The US says it agrees with Western allies that Iran’s supply of explosive drones to Russia violates UN sanctions.’

‘The US said it would “hold [Russia] accountable for its war crimes.”‘

Then right at the very end we finally get an admission of what I said in my comment the BBC deleted:
‘Ukraine has also used ‘kamikaze drones’ – including the US-made Switchblade model’

Somehow I don’t think Iran will care much about that. The entire region hates the West.

As much as I want to get behind Ukraine for this war, the lies and total hypocrisy I am being force-fed by Zelensky and the entire Western media is making it very difficult. Everyone is lying to me in the most obvious and blatant way.

Greta says she has a disadvantage because she cannot lie. So I went to check the story that she claimed she could see CO2 rising. I found lots of irate people telling anyone who said it to stop picking on a little girl with Aspergers and/or what she said was taken out of context and was metaphorical.

But none of them actually gave the quote – which was from a book by her mother. Unsurprisingly it was difficult to find – and it reads:

‘In addition, she has another gift according to her mother.

“Greta is able to see what other people cannot see,” writes Malena Ernman in the book.

“She can see carbon dioxide with the naked eye. She sees how it flows out of chimneys and changes the atmosphere in a landfill.”’

Doesn’t sound like a metaphor or out of context to me.

That makes them the liars. And by using the fact she is a young girl Aspergers to shut down any argument makes them just your regular Leftist forum scumbags who are lower than snakes. Same as our pet troll here.

I wonder if the BBC reporter brought any of that up.

As I wrote this, I wondered if any Russians living in the West have been attacked since the war started. I can’t find a single report of any and I don’t believe it. What I get are page after page of propaganda articles and nothing else.

Earlier today I looked for some videos showing the actual fighting to try and appreciate what this war is really like. Again, I could not find any real world information. Google was page after page of mainstream media articles like ‘Ukraine shoot down helicopter’ or ‘Ukraine special forces destroy tank’ with 30 second videos from the Ukranian government which didn’t quite show what I expected.

I keep reading how there are many ‘factual’ videos available but I just can’t find them !. Google won’t tell me where they are.

It was the opposite for Syria. They were easily found. Trouble was, they were mostly just large groups of men – from either side – screaming ‘Alans Snackbar’ all the time which was quite disturbing.

Does Russia still have some one doing a daily briefing ? I know it’s going to be pretty was propaganda but at least it’s something .
It’s easy to see that we are just fed stuff to ‘keep us warm and onside ‘ with all that money being thrown at Ukraine .
I somehow think that if Ukraine ‘wins ‘ the only benefit the UK will get is a statue of nut nut in Kiev ….

I trust Russia about as much as I trust Zelensky, so my first port of call to see what is going on is here:

          https://www.youtube.com/c/MilitaryandForeignAffairsNetwork

He usually quotes anything from Russia which is relevant – though he is clearly a conservative who hates what Biden has done to America so you have to filter his moaning a bit, but it’s far, far more relevant and unbiased than anything in the MSM now. We are much closer to WW3 because of direct USA involvement than the BBC are telling us.

What I do notice is that after hearing his analysis of both sides, if I go to google to look further it is usually pointless. I just get pages of the MSM propaganda which is repeated across dozens of different sites.

I think if Russia pulled out tomorrow, the USA and the West would not let it end there. They would push and push to keep them isolated and try to completely ruin the country. And I’m sure Putin knows that so God only knows where this will end up.

It has shown NATO for what it is. A political force who extend way beyond their ‘defence’ remit. Putin was right about that.

I’m ambivalent about the relationship of NATO ( US) to Russia . I’ve gone through phases where I’ve believed NATO was just a buffer for America – and that the Warsaw Pact did the same thing for mother Russia .
So after the fall of the USSR it was inevitable that someone would come along to expand it again – and as putin sees the weakness of the west – coupled with his ability to control economies through oil – he was bound to go for it .

I’ve had limited direct contact with Russia – but I can’t see it – them – ever being our ‘friends ‘ however much we might try to make them like us …

And – of course – their system is even more corrupt than ours …

Wearing a fez this winter might solve our energy problems edition

One must, perforce, pass over the FT’s frontpage in search of a concise convincing diagnosis of our economic woes.

Although the FT’s Lex column makes a fascinating observation, given the globalist corporate finance persuasion from which the FT obtains its editorial stance: ‘No government can control markets,’ says Jeremy Hunt. But markets can control governments, eh Jeremy? He is crowdsourcing his policy direction from them

One flicks through and should bypass most print titles, obsessed as they are with the Punch and Judy show of political rank punditry. Then at last one finds that rare pearl of wisdom cast care of Sherelle Jacobs in the Telegraph: Lockdown to blame for the chaos. Cost of the pandemic was the trigger for inflation – one would only quibble with the stand alone ‘p’ word excuse there… let me slightly rephrase (dare one say fact-check?) our Sherelle’s otherwise veracious news:

Cost of our goverment’s response to the supposed pandemic was the trigger for inflation… and you can add to that the cost of the proxy war with Russia.

Tax burden to hit highest level since 1950 – once again not the FT but the Telegraph telling it like it is.

Chancellor slashes energy price freeze and warns of further cuts – complains the Guardian, which would, no doubt, still call foul on a Tory chancellor even if he handed out free rainbow-flavoured lollipops all round.

Jeremy Hunt… listen, son, the left won’t ever love you, even if you did somehow wheedle us back into the EU.

Prepare for blackouts during ‘deepest darkest evenings’ warns power chief (FT)

Interestingly there’s no mention of the cold in this project fear (getting the excuses in quick?) headline from the climate change compliant FT.

You could always put on another layer… a woolly jersey or a wear a hat… perhaps wearing a fez would do the trick?

Turkey warms to Russia… Turkey has increased its purchase of Russian energy, particularly oil and coal. In September alone it imported a record 2mn tonnes of coal. It has also taken advantage of cheaper Russian oil by doubling crude imports (FT)

And there we were thinking our own blind commitment to self-harming sanctions and the costly prolonging of the proxy war was obligatory because we were in Nato.

And there we were gearing up for COP27 in Egypt – I wonder what the Turkish delagation will have to say to their middle eastern mates about us crazy europeans and our net zero madness?

I’m surprised that people suddenly realise that markets can control governments . It’s one of the mechanisms to ensure governments don’t do dumb things ( see former chancellors ) .

The slide of the UK to becoming a minor player will continue if the country continues to live beyond its ‘ means . The sooner rates go up to control inflation – the better .

And looking at the potential for those not on welfare to have to pay for for fuel cum April – the recession will deepen ( but I think the government – if the current one – will cave in as usual as the BBC mounts the usual hardship propaganda – eg – house worth a million but can’t afford the TV licence )

BBC fails to follow up on a refugee related News story … BBC £3.5bn Search for ‘Maria Freiburg’

… sorry if this makes you feel sick or generates hatred, but why aren’t the BBC interested in Maria Ladenburge’s killer being brought to justice and why the killer did it ….

      The Trial of Hussein Khavari (murdered Maria Ladenburge) Becomes Even More Sordid {gatesofvienna.net sep2017}

The accused entered the courtroom with shackles on hands and feet at 9:05am. First he read out loud a letter of apology, and he asked the family of the murdered Maria Ladenburger for forgiveness, Focus reports.

“I wish I could undo everything. What I have done, I am deeply sad about that from the bottom of my heart.” (Hussein K.)

Then he went on to recount the events of the night of the murder:

He had been drinking with three friends and he had smoked hashish. Because he was extremely drunk, he was thrown out of the bar. At some time after that, he was on his way home. At the [river] Dreisam, the girl on her bicycle approached him.

He kicked against the bicycle, which caused the girl to fall off. She screamed. He held her mouth shut. Then he strangled her with her shawl until she was unconscious.

“When I saw how pretty she was, I wanted to have sex with her.” (Hussein K.)

Apparently he thought that he had already strangled her to death. The judge questioned him concerning “sex with a dead girl,” and the offender said:

“It didn’t bother me to have sex with a dead girl.” (Hussein K.)

According to his testimony he was too drunk to achieve an erection, so he inserted his hand. Since he had a previous injury from a bicycle accident, he pulled her into the river to wash his blood from her body. There he left her and fled.

      BBC Last Touched on this story “Afghan murder suspect in Germany was jailed in Greece (convicted of attempted murder in Greece)” {bbc.co.uk dec2016}
Germans were outraged by the murder of Maria L, a student in Freiburg who volunteered for a refugee charity.
He was given a 10 year-sentence but was apparently freed after about 18 months.

      – BBC £3.5bn News Service Search for ‘Maria Freiburg’ found wanting, the real world is just to horrible to report

So a single person over 25, looking for a job, is set going to get an inflation matching £408 a year increase or £7.80 a week…to give them a new total of £85 week.
If they’re as feckless as some think, they’ll buy a pack of ciggies and the government will get most of it back instantly.

I think the problem is the million plus fake disabled, milking the system for several types of lucrative benefits.
The government needs to sort that issue out, instead of constantly attacking and turning the public against the lowest claimants who are job seeking .

I can’t imagine how anyone could live off £65 a week and pay all their bills look for week and clothe themselves.

Why £65 a week? well because the crazed loons in the civil service have determined that is the minimum amount someone can live off in the UK, so if the claimant is male 99.9% of the time £10 a week can be deducted for child mainanence, and if they have debts of fines, a further £10 can be deducted.

Of course even an idiot can see this is insufficient, and so can international observers who have told the government they have to give the illegal invaders more than the natives who might well have been working and paying taxes, but now find they don’t get anything.

and don’t forget out of that £65 they still have to pay their council tax as well !
