Quite right, Guest!
Nobody I know believes a word the awful BBC spouts, they really are a joke these days!
I have found only yesterday, after friendly chats with chums and neighbours, that even more normal citizens are just fed up (not you Sir), with the imbalance of the ethnic crud chucked in our faces by dreadful re-enactment of the creed of being British!
Apart from Breitbart this meeting was reported, albeit in sanitised form, in a slew of minor papers but it is telling how quiet the bBC have been about it despite Gates being one of their major donors.
Perhaps they think some potential Labour voters might be concerned. Dan Wootton (GBNews) described it as ‘quite chilling’.
BBC News website, one hour ago:
“Newport: Three sentenced for enslaving vulnerable man”
The sentenced are Jokubas Stankevicius, his wife Ruta Stankeviciene and Normunds Freibergs.
Bloody hell, those Welsh names are unpronounceable.
Sounds similar to the story line in The Archers last year! Coincidentally the slavemaster in that was also Welsh the local builder Philip Moss who when things were getting a bit hot sold the slaves too a posh woman called Victoria…only in BBC world would that happen! It’s usually Esatern Europeans as in this case or gypsies stop playing us for fools BBC.
Police probably made a huge thing of this, hence making ‘a news story’. They seem to love ‘offences’ such as modern slavery, female genital mutilation, anything vaguely racist or homophobic, even those these are few and far between. Often the supposed offence is shoehorned into a category because the victim happens to mention they drunkenly kissed a person of the same sex 7 years ago(homophobic) or their boss told them to ‘hurry up’(modern slavery).
Then the balloon really does go up. Invariably all Police officers, police staff, police dogs etc are required (forced) to undertake comprehensive e learning modules to thrash out the apparent bias in them- obviously not undertaking any police work whilst engaged in said e learning, but it’s good for the soul and sod the general public and their stupid burglaries.
Interestingly police can serve a form on foreign nationals which is brought to the attention of the court/judge when they appear and is a request for deportation on completion of their sentence in a cushy uk prison. It does work, but is rarely used, obviously due to officers being engaged on e learning/ diversity/ equality courses.
It seems to me that today’s policeperson is more likely to nick me for posting a hurtful internet comment about the lady next door than if I murdered her. If I murdered her i could probably plead insanity and the jury would be so intimidated by the Left Wing judge that I would spend a couple of years in clink and all would be forgotten.
However, if I had written an online comment to which she had taken offence I would likely have been banned for life .
Then again I have a white hide which appears to alter the equation somewhat. Do you get my drift?
Great to hear from you as ever. As yet we do not know who the perp was, but the word “Italian” only tells you his nationality, nothing else. He might be a Giuseppe, or a Mohammed, we don’t know yet.
Interesting that mr pelosi – who is definitely not an insider dealer – gets hammered in the run up to the elections ( vote thefts ) …. I thought we might see President Trump getting hauled off by the democrat stazi / FBI – in handcuffs -charged with ‘treason ‘ or some other made up crime ….
But there’s a few days yet ….( Obama / pelosi would insist on the public use of handcuffs )
Just spent the evening with residents and ‘natives’ of Gibraltar I.E born there.
They assure me that Moroccans sometimes arrive by boat, rather like many tens of thousands of some others readers may be able to think of.
They are swiftly caught, put through due process and quickly returned to Morocco in almost all cases.
The good people of Dover may well wonder why their ‘visitors’ cannot be treated in the same way.
And I confidently expect all but a few rabid left wing open door immigration zealots would think the same.
Musk buys Twitter…. Hints that Trumps account may be restored….Hours later police arrest a man trying to find and harm Nancy Pelosi in her home. The BBC report he was chanting slogans not unlike those used in the Capitol incident. Mr Pelosi was taken to hospital but is not seriously harmed….(if harmed at all!)
How bloody convenient is that?
I smell the Dems and the CIA all over this! It’s exactly how they have worked all along.
They are shit scared of Trump is the bottom line and will do whatever it takes, however devious to keep him away from Power.
I hope Musk acts as cleverly as he usually does and sees right through this charade.
Interesting that someone mocked up a fake Trump statement, where it said he’d been told his account would be back on Monday
..Lots of people took it as genuine.
Maybe it’s the prelude to the arrest and charge of President Trump this week in a desperate attempt to swing votes – although I still think will be fixed by democrat ‘counters ‘…
My biggest problem with the bbc has always been is what they don’t report on.
Pakistani peodophiles.
Muslim racism.
BLM violence.
Anything critical about black people in general.
This makes my blood boil though.
Nancy Pelosi’s husband has been attacked which is abhorrent, but in the entire article it never mentions their dubious wealth which was made through insider stock trading.
Do they think we’re stupid and don’t have access to the internet?
Apparently the Pelosi’s are on the bbc approved list of fiddling shit bags.
So nothing to see here.
Now where’s my laptop, hookers and crack cocaine. I fancy a quiet night.
LA is a long way from SF but I suspect that this guy knows of what he speaks….
David Depape, Paul Pelosi Suspect: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know https://t.co/KNW8fQ05ne via @heavysan. Pelosi assailant is a professional nudist from Berkeley who makes hemp jewelry and his wife works at the Jerry Garcia children’s clinic.
Tapwater, you are Bunter Hiden and I claim my £10!
I agree with all of you who have suspicions about this. I thought it stank of rotten fish from the word go: the convenient pre-electoral timing, casting the revolting Pelosis as victims, implicating someone who may be revealed to be a MAGA Republican. Radio 4 gave this number one billing (!) just before the pseudo-democracy vox pop of Friday’s “Any Questions?” which I don’t listen to any longer as the bias is unbearable.
“Rishi Sunak and Emmanuel Macron vow to co-operate on Channel crossings – No 10” https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-63430865
Something tells me its going to take time and lots of money.
The pair pledged an “ambitious package of measures” to be announced this autumn.
However I have inside knowledge.
French gendarmes will be instructed to say ‘Merde’ a lot, tell the invaders that their mother was a hamster and their father smelt of elderberries and as a last resort to threaten to fart in their general direction.
Additionally gendarmes will no longer be allowed to smoke more than 10 Citanes during their shift and lunch breaks will be severely restricted to 2 hours 55 minutes.
Garlic will be vigorously rubbed into the fabric of all rubber dinghies during manufacture to deter all but the French.
Border Farce will now operate in unmarked boats posing as fishermen and will whistle nonchalantly, whilst reeling in a mackerel if any dingy approaches.
A remote controlled plastic ‘Jaws lookalike shark water based drone’ will be deployed to circle passing dinghies in the hope they will be panicked into turning back.
The UK now be supplying the migrants with very itchy woolly blankets if and when they are taken aboard the safety of the Border Farce boats in the hope that word will get out.
Numerous signs will be placed on French beaches in several languages indicating that Gary Lineker and the Sunny View hotel in Dover has ‘No vacancies’.
I saw that centrica was being tough in agreeing conditions for re opening – considering this is a big real National Security issue – it should have been going months ago – let’s hope the weather across Europe doesn’t get cold for a bit longer – ?
I was placed there a few weeks ago after, yet again, trying to educate the BBC News team about something of which they obviously knew nothing. I think their intention was for me to send less complaints but it has actually had the opposite effect, and I managed no less than five in one day a few days ago. Certainly their responses have dried up.
I sent one in about the giggling bint on BBC News last weekend, and got a reply! I sent another complaint, accusing them of wasting their time and my money by responding.
7:30pm Channel4 Their documentary is about Child Sex Trafficking
They have sent a Black British young female reporter to Houston, US to report about streets where 15 and 16 year olds work , whilst armed pimps patrol in cars.
Gas Channel 4 done any shows from northern about British towns about white British girls being pimped ?
“They have sent a Black British young female reporter to Houston”
Or, in other words; “They have sent a reporter to Houston”. You constantly reduce people to a series of categorizations whilst at the same time railing against intersectionality. Projection much?
“[H]as Channel 4 done any shows from northern about British towns about white British girls being pimped ?”
Why are you asking when you could just spend two minutes on Google and find out for yourself?
Night shift at the bbc,
Scratch your arse.

Wonder why people don’t think like me.
Be reassured that everyone who doesn’t think like me is an uneducated bigot.
Sending thoughts and prayers max, thoughts and prayers.
Maxi is saying Channel4 doesn’t do any documentaries about northern grooming gangs
cos otherwise he would have “simply googled it and told us”
And nope I am not the one doing intersectionality.
Guess what. Men and women have different bodies. This is based on the dummies used to test injuries in car smashes. You see, most of the dummies resemble male bodies which is unfair on wimmin who are not getting enough protection.
And I thought gender was a mental construct.
Diversity needed for car crash dummies.
——————————————-
” CEO Christopher O’Connor told the BBC he believes that safety has “advanced significantly over the last 20, 30, 40 years” but it “really hasn’t taken into account the differences between a male and a female”.
“You can’t have the same device to test a man and a woman. We’re not going to crack the injuries we are seeing today unless we put sensors there to measure those injuries.
“By measuring those injuries we can then have safer cars with safer airbags, with safer seatbelts, with safer occupant compartments that allow for different sizes.”
The narrative in the NEW bbc article is very popular
and been big in US politics cos some senator was introducing a bill 3 years ago.
Its the same old “women are the victims men are evil”
And posits that if cars start having some new special female dummies women in car accidents will then start dying less and have lighter injuries.
Funny how libmob spend most of their time telling us women are the same as men and can have penises, and now they are back to
“actually there are 2 distinct sexes”
I smell BS ..The people who test cars are not evil, they do want the cars to be safe for everyone, they care about men women and children ..and think that since humans come in a huge range of sizes, its not really about the average, you have to look st the ends of the ranges, that is why the standard female dummy test uses a small female .
I quote a line gender baiter CCP hides at the end of her Feb 2029 Guardian article
When I spoke to EuroNCAP, a European organisation that provides car safety ratings for consumers, they said that since 2015 they have used male and female dummies in both front-crash tests, and that they base their female dummies on female anthropometric data”.

Sorry about this. It looks like a plugin automatically updated last night – the one which provides the “Recent Comments” list and is killing the database, probably with a very inefficient query. I’ve rolled it back and will contact the plugin author. I can see other people are having problems too.
Time since he last posted before this thread ; 18 days .
Number of threads ; 13
Number of posts between Maxi’s last and today ; 2956 .
Number of questions answered by Maxi ; 0
Conclusion:
Maxi has to be really sure of himself before he ventures out of his comfort zone but it does have to be acknowledged that he does spasmodically make an effort . His later posts are getting earlier in the evening but this may be due to a shift change at work .
Maxi is not unintelligent and if he could could be “ unbrainwashed “ he could well be a useful member of society.
I think he comes here after something he does on Friday nights and feels the need to vent his hatred. He has either been drinking or taking pills for his personality disorder (or both).
Such people are complete misfits in the real world. He has no practical value whatsoever and you can be certain he has no actual friends. He drains what other people make.
Please note, that despite the large number of ‘Resources’ that he, (she, they, them) has at hand he , never answer any question put to him like – ” have you paid the ‘telly tax’ yet?
Maybe he (she, they, them) get it free, perks of the job?
I cannot believe that no-one has yet commented on the death of THE great(est) rock’n’roller Jerry Lee Lewis ! All those that threw tv’s into swimming pools were mere pussycats compared to JLL.
Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee – saw them all on one bill at the Wembley Arena in 1995 – one of the best nights of rock ever.
RIP guys !
Well said Zeph. None of the old rockers incited violence in their singing – they did enough of their own on stage ! and can ANYONE actually dance to a rapper / drill / grime noise ? I spent many happy hours jiving to those old rock songs. (Dennis Quaid gave a wonderful performance of Lee in the film Gt Balls of Fire)
So just before the mid-term elections, someone breaks in and attack Nancy Pelosi’s husband. And we just happen to be given an instant and complete history of his ‘far-right’ status (which the BBC mention multiple times).
And social media is suddenly full of it – and the Leftist media are directly blaming Trump for it already. I believe The Guardian staff have actually wet their knickers in the excitement.
No pictures of Paul yet though. A remarkably convenient story : Nancy is fine and able to get in front of the cameras to exploit it. She will now use it to it’s absolute fullest extent against Trump and I have a feeling any pictures of Paul we might see very soon are going to show lots of bandages around his head and arms (like a carry-on film) but none of the actual injuries.
I don’t trust these people one bit. There is no limit to how low they will go in their desperation to hold on to power.
Chinese social media is awash with mocking and laughing at the UK with a Hindu Indian Primeminister, blacks running our TV and all married to white women and the national broadcaster with a muzzie in charge of religious affairs.
All without any consultation or consent from the 85% white population who pay for the above.
Can’t say I blame them (the Chinese that is).
The ONE programme I sometimes watch on the bbc , Bargain Hunt at lunchtime, yesterday saw it for the first time in a while, each team a white woman and guess what each had as a partner?
Yes, those blacks and muzzies you see in every antique shop and auction house without fail. How hard did the bbc try, to find these ?
Just like the ONE SINGLE black farmer in the UK at the time the bbc found to comment on an agricultural story.
Racist scum
Envy of the world ? lets have a vote on that …ask the billion Chinese what they think of bbc racism for a start.
Chinese UK immigrants and students, who largely fund most UK universities, never represented at the bbc or on UK TV with a few very minor exceptions.
And of course the utterly pointless articles the BBC churn out these days because they have so many staff who are useless- but tick boxes and need to feel important.
I tend check the author now to confirm my suspicions and sure enough, this one fits the profile perfectly. The BBC seem to be chock full of them.
Jasmine Andersson
Among the things she covers are: Gender, social justice and working-class issues, music, LGBT issues and mental health.
Dot joining. @elonmusk considers reopening Twitter to Trump. His last tweets on Jan6 lauded the rioters as ‘great patriots’. They’d gone thru Congress shouting ‘where’s Nancy?’ Yesterday a man attacks @SpeakerPelosi husband asking ‘where’s Nancy’ Free speech, yes. But…..
One that smiled benignly on a bitter old hag ‘musing’ on acid milkshakes for political commentary.
What's interesting is that the people complaining about @elonmusk taking over Twitter have absolutely no reason to fear censorship, bans or shadowbanning. Their complaint is that other people won't be censored.
Now then – the BBC big on the attack on pelosi via the maybe insider trader husband …. And the link went straight to the Capitol protest ….
Our Justin had a nice chat about ‘violence in US politics ‘ with the sort of Far Left mouth who might explain the reason why polarity is happening . He excused violence by the left against the right …. And Justin let him get away with it …..
All sorts of stuff is being alleged about what happened in the assault – but we are not told what the police are saying or who the person is or whether he is charged ….
…and then – a tone of misery from the BBC – but because a couple of Eastern European economists have ‘found out ‘ that most of the overseas giveaway budget it being used to nationalise the Uk hotel industry in order to find places for illegal – criminal invaders to the UK – ‘only ‘ £3 000 000 000
3 billion pounds of taxpayers ‘ borrowed money is thrown away on ‘overseas projects ‘….
Exactly how many taxpayers support the spending of this Money in this way – against either not borrowing it at all or spending on useful things in the UK ?
The BBC doesn’t like landlords – landlords are far right capitalists by default – so when it reports on inflation in rental fees in the private sector you know where it is going …..
And it concentrates on the ‘plight ‘ of university students finding it difficult to get accommodation – answer – go get a real job rather than a 3 year jolly studying useless subjects ….
But more seriously – there is a denial of the effect of huge increases in the population – from any place – of any colour – of any religion –
If arrivals go up by hundreds of thousands every year what -exactly – is to be expected —-BBC?

I think the investigation into sex on submarines will recommend that there should be ‘all girl’ ‘all queer ‘ and ‘all chaps’ submarines . All colour coded of course .
If the navy is anything like the met plod – which announced it has over 30% lady plods – it should be able to follow my recommendation .
The idiot who decided it would be a good idea to put ladies amongst chaps inside a submarine – needs treatment or counselling …. But HMS Woke is HMS woke ….
Yep, agree with that Fed. No matter how hard skinned a woman can be when faced with ‘banter from the boys’, having to deal with it on a daily basis must be mentally wearing. A woman can laugh it off initially, then it becomes boring, then it turns into aggression by telling them to Foxtrot Oscar – which, when there is a gang of them only encourages them more. Its basically being mentally gang raped. Although on the recent story, mariners have seen the girls as “toys for the boys”.
Clearly submarines are men only spaces, as they can’t be trusted to behave appropriately. Perhaps throwing a few Trans into the mix might help. Just saying.
10:15 am Saturday live was banging on about an ethnic Jamaican getting an MBE ..fat black actress Sharon D Clarke MBE (item was actually a repeat, being repeated for some tendacious reason)
Then interview into with Bez ..cos he’s a lefty popstar
prog also featured the blind footballer Rainbow Mbuangi
10:30am The Food prog is supposed to be an audience asks questions
Yet the opening was a sneer at the Britishness of St George.
Now we are into a long item on Jamaican food
..now Maroons the escaped slaves.
Next question “How do I cook the Jamaican dish, curried goat ?”
I think there are 2 Jamaicans on the BBC panel
Of course the presenter Jay Rayner is a BBC lefty wokist.
prog blurb “Bringing the panel together in agreement is 2-Tone Café chef Angela Knight whose speciality is Jamaican cooking.
Melissa Thompson talks of the fascinating origins of pimento berries and jerk in the mountains of Jamaica,
and Dr Annie Gray looks at the history of the island’s cuisine in the UK.”
When Jamaica gained independence in 1962, the murder rate was 3.9 per 100,000 inhabitants, one of the lowest in the world.[4] In 2005, Jamaica had 1,674 murders, for a murder rate of 58 per 100,000 people,[5] the highest murder rate in the world.[2] In November 2008, the Jamaican Parliament voted to retain the death penalty, which is performed by hanging.[6]
Jamaica recorded 1,680 murders in 2009.[7] In 2010, there were 1,428, in 2011, 1,125. 2012 saw 1,097, 2013, 1,200. 2014 totaled 1,192, 2015, 1,450, 2016, 1,350 and 2017, 1,616.[8] 1,287 murders were reported in 2018.[9]
Wonder how many other bbc #28gate jolly addicts flying there?
I'm going to COP27 and I'm not paying £2000 a night. Neither are any of the climate youth leaders who are going to make sure that people like you (with incredible power and influence) are held to account. Do better.
lol, thick-as-shit Lefty nutter. And a proper misandrist going by her twitter. When I see these stories, I always think back to the student so outraged by Brexit, she was out protesting. And when asked what the best thing the EU have given us is said ‘The NHS’.
Does she think world leaders will stay in the same flea pit as her ?. Or will they all be in the same 5-star hotel with a hundred armed guards around it ?. These events are serious ‘jollies’ for anyone in government who can get on them.
And I wonder how much she will actually hold anyone to account. My estimate is not-at-all.
And I also wonder if she is paying for the trip herself ….
Nadine Dorries is in the mad cult too
That Twitter thread is full of hatey-lefties saying “Wow I agree with this Tory”
That shows they don’t realise that the Tory Party is an Islington Socialist party that already kow tows to libmob’s worldview and imposed it on the rest of us
For balance, my friend…The Prime Minister is WRONG not to go to COP. Global warming is the biggest crisis facing our planet and net zero creates many 1000s of jobs which is good for the economy. COP in Glasgow was most successful ever… but don’t expect media to report that https://t.co/YGkc66wts7
Yep Lucy Siegle is one of those media people who are #HateyLeftirs
that go around belittling people.
And think they are ENTITLED to have us all PAY, to have things done as they SAY
Green Crap Looks as though the current king is letting it be known he wants to go to the WEF gig known as COP next week.
Well I have a solution . Abdicate – won’t be missed – and we can have big coronation gig next year for the next king ….
If Charles cares that much about his planet he’d go and campaign to make his ex subjects eat Soylent Green and insects …
As for the WEF COP thing – it looks like the (false ) science is going to declare that the warming can’t be stopped so we have to spend tax money in the third world as usual …
De facto leader of the free world resistance- Vladimir Putin won’t be going to COP, but hopefully he’ll be in Bali in 2 weeks for G20, to embarrass the globalist trash.
West Midlands Police said: “3 October that’s already being investigated.”
“The incident involved a 14-year-old boy who was stabbed in the leg by West Walsall E Act Academy”
Who needs paid telly, when you can watch documentaries on YouTube etc for free.

Makes you wonder what’s happening in these Ukrainian jails now; exactly the type of question BBC’s ‘journalists’ should ask.
Eight months ago they had brief reports of Zelensky offering freedom for the countries military trained inmates, in return for army enlistment. Nothing updated since.
That was back in the days of handing out guns to civilians and molotov cocktail factories on every street corner.
I caught an interview on Talk TV with Sir Roger Gayle the Tory MP for North Thanet and in ten minutes it demonstrated everything that is wrong with the modern Tory party.
The topic was the illegal immigrants on the south coast which isn’t far from Sir Roger’s constituency. He said plenty such as :
international law must be adhered to, only a grown up solution would , there should populist no dog whistle politics, these people were not criminals despite them entering our country illegally, proposals such as Rwanda were ridiculous. He suffers from extreme oikophobia , he hates us.
But even when asked repeatedly he made no comment about how these migrants impacted on British people, on how we were supposed to cope with them all, the impact of the criminals who certainly do exist within the ranks.
Basically , just like the rest of scum who inhabit Westminster , he doesn’t give a toss about us . Well I don’t give a toss about them and will shed no tears if , having found that two party democracy cannot solve the problems of the indigenous majority , other means of solving it are found.
Double
Traitor Gale was discussed in the week . He is one of those ‘go to ‘ Tory badged vermin the BBC go to for balance – he threatened to dump the whip if Johnson returned – and basically is a mouth in the commons so won’t take the peerage . Vile
The video : No one watches Kyle cos he’s an awful presenter ..but once he shuts up Gayle embarrasses himself
“Don’t give me Nigel Farage’s language , or I’ll switch off” etc.
This BLue Labour Tory idiot sounds more like Jermey Corbyn than a real conservative.
Kyle is bang on the money that they are criminals and he should have skewered the Blue Labourite Gale with it when he admitted that these men would never have got a visa and have entered the country illegally.
“what do we call someone who commits an act that is illegal?” The answer is of course a criminal ! Therefore by his very own arguments all 20 000 of them are indeed criminals !
I see wimmin are all protesting in London wanting us to pay to look after their brats while they go to work and want MORE paid leave, this after one year paid leave while they drop another kid they obviously cannot afford to raise, this while their company has to also recruit someone else to do their job in the meantime.
They also have the choice to return or not to work and do not have to tell the company until the year off is over.

Behind our democracy lurks a powerful but unaccountable network of people who wield massive power and reap huge profits in the process. In exposing this shadowy and complex system that dominates our lives, Owen Jones sets out on a journey into the heart of our Establishment, from the lobbies of Westminster to the newsrooms, boardrooms and trading rooms of Fleet Street and the City. Exposing the revolving doors that link these worlds, and the vested interests that bind them together, Jones shows how, in claiming to work on our behalf, the people at the top are doing precisely the opposite. In fact, they represent the biggest threat to our democracy today – and it is time they were challenged.

Alastair Campbell and Baroness Sayeeda Warsi put 12 ambitious Brits through their political paces, as they compete to be crowned Channel 4’s Alternative Prime Minister. Who has what it takes?
People might also want to look into who Seumas Milne’s father was (hint: see list of BBC Directors General, especially 1982-87 era).
And while we’re at it, Owen, how about: Lance Price, Martin Sixsmith, Ed Richards, John Birt, Ben Bradshaw, Chris Bryant, James Purnell, Celia Barlow, et al, in the Blair/Brown era?
June Sarpong’s salary as diversity champion for the BBC has been brought into question.
The public broadcaster has been criticised after disclosing in its annual report that Sarpong earns £267,000 a year for working a three-day week as the corporation’s director of creative diversity.
Sarpong was appointed as the BBC’s first creative diversity director in 2019 as the organisation said it wanted to achieve real change in increasing the number of ethnic minorities and disabled people on screen.
I am politically Right of Centre so surely in the eyes of the Far Left BBC I am mentally disabled and therefore entitled to be included in their list of minorities.

While HRC was US Secretary of State, President Obama also left the post of Inspector General of the State Dept. vacant. The IG role is supposed to provide oversight for what the State Dept. does, and rumour has it that HRC demanded of Obama that she wanted no such oversight of what she was doing while SOS.

Pakistani peodophiles.
Muslim racism.

Anything critical about black people in general.
This makes my blood boil though.

Here in July a thread where testers defend their female dummies.

I spent many happy hours jiving to those old rock songs. (Dennis Quaid gave a wonderful performance of Lee in the film Gt Balls of Fire)

Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul recovering after hammer attack surgery
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-63435554

Like this non-story:
Clocks to go back in the UK – including Big Ben
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-63404284
I tend check the author now to confirm my suspicions and sure enough, this one fits the profile perfectly. The BBC seem to be chock full of them.
Jasmine Andersson
Among the things she covers are: Gender, social justice and working-class issues, music, LGBT issues and mental health.
And of course, Big Ben.

Yet the opening was a sneer at the Britishness of St George.
Now we are into a long item on Jamaican food

Next question “How do I cook the Jamaican dish, curried goat ?”
I think there are 2 Jamaicans on the BBC panel
Of course the presenter Jay Rayner is a BBC lefty wokist.
prog blurb “Bringing the panel together in agreement is 2-Tone Café chef Angela Knight whose speciality is Jamaican cooking.
Melissa Thompson talks of the fascinating origins of pimento berries and jerk in the mountains of Jamaica,
and Dr Annie Gray looks at the history of the island’s cuisine in the UK.”

And I wonder how much she will actually hold anyone to account. My estimate is not-at-all.

Interesting look at this huge prison a year or two ago.

How much has Owen Jones made?
Owen Jones’ salary is not a matter of public record.
However, his second book sold well according to politcal blog Media Guido.
The website estimated Owen made around £471,489 from his second book in 2015.
At the time the right wing blog claimed the books had sold 143,212.

…………..
‘Fantastic, timely, eye-opening’ Armando Iannucci, New Statesman, Books of the Year
‘Captures a collective sense of anger and awakening’ Matt Haig, Observer, Books of the Year
Behind our democracy lurks a powerful but unaccountable network of people who wield massive power and reap huge profits in the process.
‘A book of revelations … The Establishment have stitched it up – stitched you up – and they know it’ Danny Dorling, Times Higher Education Supplement
‘A dissection of the profoundly and sickeningly corrupt state that is present-day Britain. He is a fine writer, and this is a truly necessary book’ Philip Pullman
‘Owen Jones is a phenomenon of our times’ David Kynaston, The Times Literary Supplement
‘You will be enlightened and angry’ Irvine Welsh

The public broadcaster has been criticised after disclosing in its annual report that Sarpong earns £267,000 a year for working a three-day week as the corporation’s director of creative diversity.
Sarpong was appointed as the BBC’s first creative diversity director in 2019 as the organisation said it wanted to achieve real change in increasing the number of ethnic minorities and disabled people on screen.

I wish them well.
