    Today
They had a far left bbc type called ‘Gabriel gatehouse ‘ on . He is doing a daily hit job on the Republican efforts to get the truth out over the corruption of the democrats and their subversion of the election system .

But of course he only puts out the democrat version – in accordance with BBC editorial rules … straight bias .

Having wasted several minutes watching the ‘new’ Christmas ads from some of the supermarkets and stores, with an irritating Boots add-on at the start and the finish of ech dire episode, I’m just recovering from the onslaught of seeing so many mixed marriages, peculiar mannerisms, odd looking kids, stupid story lines and a general lack of ingenuity and skill on behalf of the deisgners of such poor stuff, I’m extremely glad to tell you, Fed – as Principal Chief Reminder of the Faith, and of course everyone here as your disciples (?), that Chez Scrobs is now TV free and the now-cancelled tax DD is a past issue!

So I’ll never watch such BBC dross again, and that includes ITV where all these awful ads will be splurged for the next seven weeks! I don’t bother with Sky either!

I’ll need to be reminded of the incoherent, irritating and grossly biased BBC from time to time, so will dip in here when I can, and may well report on other issues when the sensible cause to ban the whole lot becomes reality, and they can all sod off!

For various technical reasons I am completely TV free at the moment – it is possible to live without one …. I’m watching history lectures on YouTube courtesy of the Hoover Institute on top of a daily episode of Carlson …

I’ve had at least 22 letters from TV Licensing since cancelling in earlier 2020. Mea culpa – I should have done it long before that!

They certainly like using red ink. First they noticed that the Direct Debt had been cancelled and then they wrongly credited me with having paid for more months than I actually had, leaving me in peace until late in that year! Then I was told that the Enforcement Division was scheduled to visit.

The first “scheduled” visit was then notified for late summer 2021. TV Licensing have no right of access to your property but they claim to be able to apply for a search warrant and interview you under caution. Unless you watch BBC i-player and they can obtain your IP address, it would be hard to prove you’re watching live TV without access to the property, short of the simple case of the terraced house with living room adjacent to the pavement in the street, from which observation could easily be made.

More threats of visits followed into 2022. Sometimes the letters seemed to represent a step backwards, stating that an investigation had been opened which I presumed to have begun long before. Specific dates were stated but nobody ever showed up. There was a reference to the “final stages of our investigation”.

A carrot is sometimes dangled, such as “We’re giving you 10 days to get correctly licensed”. This summer there was more talk about a visit by an “Enforcement Officer”. Between June and October of 2022, their claimed number of visits went down from 8,000 a day to 5,000.

I stay within the law and never watch live TV, record from live or use BBC catch-up services, except at someone else’s home on occasion. I can’t prove this to anyone and a visit to my home would be pointless in any case, as a TV could easily be hidden and I’m not on the ground floor. I’m still waiting for the threatened visit and the chance to say that I don’t wish to buy their product and remain within the TV licensing law at all times.

Thanks for the heads up, Musters!

I really don’t care a monkeys’ about them any more, we’re well off the road, Senora O’Blene cannot walk to the door any more, and the dog will bite the shit out of any intruder!

I have a large hammer by our front door, and several other large pieces of wood around the house in strategic positions, so any intruder will get at least a broken body-part at some stage!

The red-top press will have a field day, (pics wil be taken), while any unwanted intruder is carted off with quite a lot of bruises and hopefully a well-bitten testicle…

Fed, it was your continuing address to the requirement to stop paying the BBC for such an inadequate service, on pain of prosecution – I am 75, and the Senora is – er – younger…(ahem), and while we’ve never recently watched any live trash from the BBC, (except Her Maj’s funeral, because we loved her), we feel duty bound to enlighten our meagre pensions with a few extra quid to enjoy our retirements without the knowledge that disgraceful idiots like Linekar and Zoeball, who get such enormous payouts, are not funded by us!

The whole board and ‘staff’ of the bbc are an utter disgrace, with deplorable presenters, a miserable left-wing bestowel of squalid tax-funded broadcasts, and a bunch of snivel serpents at crapita, who will be intimidating citizens like me and Senora O’Blene, and doubtless millions of other folk who have to pay for their extravagent and uninteresting lifestyle. I think crapita get £11 mill for their stuff! Sod them!

In my whole life – thankfully shaped by God-fearing parents and with the mutual agreement with God to try and keep on the straight and narrow, I’ve never really strayed from the rules, and neither has Senora O’Blene, but I see a real calumnation of all our values, and the BBC are complicit in the breakdown of these values, with their incessant whinging, ‘gotcha’ style issues, and left-wing, (you’re wrong Scrobs, they’ll tell me, your compassion needs money to pay us), mantras so loved by rich socialists.

I don’t often get up on my hind legs these days, but admit that I’ll now look forward to all the threatening letters, the ‘visits’ from crapita, and the rest, and will happily show them the television aerial we have which is currently hanging by its cable from our chimney, because the bloody thing blew down a few days ago just after our dear Queen was buried and we cant see anything live anyway!

Sort that little issue out, Crapitas!

And swivel on that as well!

Albanians account for around a third of the almost 40,000 people who have arrived in small boats so far this year, according to UK government figures.
    ………….
Today the BBC journalists Michael Keohan and Colin Campbell released a shocking report on the channel crossings. It showed people smugglers selling their wares brazenly in the migrant camps and many children living in unsafe and dangerous conditions, as well as—this is breathtaking—a free French public bus service that migrants can use to travel directly from the camps to the Dunkirk departure beaches. Will my right hon. Friend allow a statement on the issue of tackling the small boat crossings and the Government’s response in their work with France?

Does that include the tens of millions who would immediately head this way as a result from every dubious country in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe?

Maybe the long term idea, unstated by Simon is that this would quickly render the UK just as much a shithole as the places they are coming from thereby removing the incentive to come anyway.

“On weekday afternoons, the BBC will produce 18 afternoon programmes to be shared amongst the stations
Then after 6pm this drops to 10 regional progs”
before 2pm there will be no change to the 39 stations

Around £19 million from the BBC’s local budget will be “reprioritised” from broadcast services to online and multimedia production

The Great Siege of Malta (Maltese: L-Assedju l-Kbir) occurred in 1565 when the Ottoman Empire attempted to conquer the island of Malta, then held by the Knights Hospitaller. The siege lasted nearly four months, from 18 May to 13 September 1565.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Siege_of_Malta

This victory became one of the most celebrated events of sixteenth-century Europe, to the point that Voltaire said: “Nothing is better known than the siege of Malta.” It undoubtedly contributed to the eventual erosion of the European perception of Ottoman invincibility, although the Mediterranean continued to be contested between Christian coalitions and the Muslim Turks for many years.[6]

The victory of the Holy League is of great importance in the history of Europe and of the Ottoman Empire, marking the turning-point of Ottoman military expansion into the Mediterranean, although the Ottoman wars in Europe would continue for another century. It has long been compared to the Battle of Salamis, both for tactical parallels and for its crucial importance in the defense of Europe against imperial expansion.

So England and other European football teams are going to wear One Love armbands at the World Cup to raise awareness of LGBTQ discrimination in Qatar.

I suggest the Qatar team wears an armband to raise awareness of the huge health risks you expose yourself to if you engage in the male homosexual behaviour of sodomy. These include:

    Anal Cancer
    Chlamydia trachomatis
    Cryptosporidium
    Giardia lamblia
    Herpes simplex virus
    Human immunodeficiency virus
    Human papilloma virus
    Isospora belli
    Microsporidia
    Gonorrhea
    Viral hepatitis types B & C
    Syphilis25

And of course not forgetting –

    hemorrhoids
    anal fissures
    anorectal trauma
    retained foreign bodies

Not to mention other things associated with the gay lifestyle –

    Psychiatric illnesses
    Shortened lifespan

It might be more useful for impressionable young people to be aware of all of that.

    Helluva big armband required though.

      Chemsex
This is the use of recreational drugs taken for the purposes of enhancing sexual activity.

Chemsex is mainly used by gay men with drugs such as: GHB, GBL and mephedrone. The idea is usually to allow sex sessions to last several hours and occasionally with several partners.

Here in London we are seeing more and more gay men who are injecting drugs (‘slamming’) during sex.

If you do participate in this sort of sexual activity, the risk of getting an STI or a blood-borne virus is very high. We therefore suggest you have more regular check-ups and tell us about chemsex activity. We aren’t here to judge, but to offer advice and support.

We think, if you’re going to slam or use drugs for sex, then do it safely. For more information, follow the links below:

      Safer slamming
      Safer chemsex
      Safer alcohol and drug use
If you feel you have a problem with your use of drugs, there are many places in London to help out. If you are in doubt, please come and speak with one of our dedicated team.

    Female-to-female sexual transmission of HIV

    Key points
The risk of female-to-female sexual transmission is extremely rare, with only a handful of reported cases.
HIV-positive women who identify as lesbian may have acquired HIV through injecting drug use or sex with men.
Transmission is possible through sharing of sex toys and exposure to blood during sex.

It was on Guido on twitter – from a personal point of view it would be the worst of taxes . As you might know I studied revenue law during my degrees – the imposition of CGT on principle residence is a recurring horror – lard suggested by liberals when that idiot clegg was in charge.

Also – I have expressed here that there would be all sorts of rumours and leaks in the run up to the budget . You are entitled to treat it as scaremongering – I am entitled to comment on it . Do your own research …..

Politically – as I observed – any party imposing such a tax would be DEAD …but the way the blue Labour Party is behaving – nothing – nothing – those clowns do should surprise me …
And it’s really sad that there is no alternative party to realistically vote for …

    Necessary, if fruitless.

THE BBC knows exactly who it wants on to say what, and what happens if they do so even in the face of rampant inaccuracy or partiality.

At best they will shrug out the ‘oops’ template and do it again tomorrow.

As with twitter, etc, free rein to only interact with those who suit is downright crooked, and THE BBC knows it full well.

At least in the cess pit that are the HoP, nothing can be trotted out without being held to account. Of course, that latter getting on air via ‘news’ again runs afoul of THE BBC filter.

There should be live debate, unedited, between two knowledgeable if opposing views minimum.

Not a BBC dimwit and a BBc dimwit guest alone, or an invited on doofus ringer to splice as necessary in the edit suite for the first two to howl at.

The Chancellor made a speech at COP26 in Glasgow today (3 November 2021).

      https://www.gov.uk/government/speeches/cop26-finance-day-speech

Good morning – and welcome to Cop26 finance day.

It’s easy to feel daunted by the scale of the challenge that we face.

By sea levels rising; droughts and wildfires spreading; people forced out of their homes.

But I look around this hall and I feel optimism.

      Why?

Because this is the first COP to bring together so many of the world’s finance ministers, businesses and investors with such a clear common purpose:

To deliver the promise, made in Paris six years ago, to direct the world’s wealth to protect our planet.

Let me pay an enormous tribute to Mark Carney for his leadership – leadership that is delivering results.

About cheap, reliable and clean electricity to power schools and hospitals in rural Africa.

About better coastal defences in the Philippines and the pacific islands to protect people from storm surges.

Mishal Husain, to her credit, put this to Carney this morning, pointing out that economists had challenged this figure. In particular, Jonathan Portes of Kings College London (whom Husain felt the need to point out is ‘absolutely not a Brexiteer’ because Brexiteers of course cannot be trusted) had explained what was wrong with the ‘zombie statistic’.

        …………..

Husain was born on 11 February 1973 in Northampton, England[2][3] to Pakistani parents. Her mother was a teacher and former producer for Pakistan Television Corporation, while her father was a urologist.[4]

She is the granddaughter of Syed Shahid Hamid, the first Director-General of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence.[5]

Husain attended the British School in Abu Dhabi; the family were also based in Saudi Arabia for a period.[6] Husain returned to England at the age of 12 to continue her education at Cobham Hall School, an independent school in Kent.[2] She read law at New Hall, Cambridge (now Murray Edwards College, Cambridge) followed by a master’s degree in International and Comparative Law at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy.[7][8]

      ……..

      “Consider this, I give this example. If immigration continues at the levels it has average over the last ten years. Britain will be adding 10 million people to it’s population in the next 20 years. That means building a new house roughly every seven minutes. Now, we currently have no leadership from the Liberal Democrats, Conservative or Labour Parties saying they are going to do anything to change that course. @5:56 … if any party wishing to get into power doesn’t address this they are committing political suicide….@10:30″ {youtube – Douglas Murray – oct2015}

      ….

“Because when immigration is too high (no figure given), when the pace of change is too fast, it’s impossible to build a cohesive society. It’s difficult for schools and hospitals and core infrastructure like housing and transport to cope. And we know that for people in low-paid jobs, wages are forced down even further while some people are forced out of work altogether. … So there is no case, in the national interest, for immigration of the scale we have experienced over the last decade.”
