I have again been venturing into the wild of the left wing chat rooms and I have this disturbing news to report.

The Left now take a simplistic view on society:
If you aren’t with them 100% you are against them
There is no halfway house or middle ground, it’s black and White
You aren’t with them you are on the extreme or far right.
People on the extreme right are mentally ill and need to be treated, not much or a further step to the death camps from there.

People may know I also post on the FTs blogs, and much the same thing is happening with the Left there. I write a reasoned middle of the road piece concerning the US elections in which I say that if both sides are complaining about unreliable election results then something is wrong with the system and it needs to be overhauled to make it more credible for all involved.

Along comes the Left because I’ve said something they don’t accept. Only the Republicans are election deniers, the Democrats have never called into question an election and the only explanation is that the writer (me) must therefore be from the far / extreme right and the post must be taken down.

This was the reason for me asking for the previous post I couldn’t find at the top of this page.

Even if someone says they are from the radical Left, if they are a ‘climate change denier’ they are labelled ‘far right’ You have to swallow the whole thing to belong to their camp.

You can see it in the way Kari Lake deals with the media, we might call it a ‘hive mind’ but it’s far more dangerous than that, because there are severe penalties for not believing everything, such as losing your job being frozen out from friends and colleagues, in other words there are consequences.

So now you can estimate that 90% plus of the people of this country are extreme right, or far right, and this is what the Marxist infiltrator of the Tory party Theresa May really meant by the “rise of the far Right” it wasn’t that people were becomming more right wing, it was the left moving the goalposts of what qualified as ‘far right’.

Thoughtful – all very troubling – the thing I find most distressing is where something you absolutely know to be true – eg – seeing it with your own eyes – is repackaged to meet an ‘approved ‘ view – contrary to the truth – and then ‘fact checked ‘…
Navigating through the variable ‘facts ‘ of a hammer attack 5800 miles away in San Francisco is different and more ‘anoraky’ but denial of a known truth is – poison .

I wouldn’t dare waste my time expressing my views elsewhere than here .. I’d just be instantly cancelled .

And if I wrote what I really believe should happen to criminal invaders I think I’d be getting a ‘check your thinking ‘ call from the stazi ….

I suppose it’s the long term effect of the internet . The kidults who only know life with the internet have a less sophisticated outlook than those who were grown up before it .

Soon – when the likes of you and me have done our time here – it will be ‘one state ‘ – but I’m unsure what language the ‘new British ‘ will be using ….

You might not have noticed – but there is another war going on – generally being unreported by the BBC/MSM .

It’s the twitter war of the blue tick . For only $ 7.99 and a cent you too can have a blue tick on your ‘handle ‘…

There are many casualties on both sides fighting for their principles ( or lack of them ) – jez bowen and the screachy girl will turn up soon wearing online flak jackets broadcasting from the BBC bunker – where hoards of BBC sodomites exchange fluids …
Twitter really is the land over the soft soft kidults …

BBC Asian Network is a British Asian radio station owned and operated by the BBC. The station’s target audience is people “with an interest in British Asian lifestyles”,[1] especially British Asians between the ages of 18 and 34.[2] The station has production centres at Broadcasting House in London and The Mailbox in Birmingham.

The station broadcasts mainly in English, but has retained Sunday evening shows in South Asian languages. The Asian Network covers only the Indian subcontinent, with the rest of the continent – such as Japan and China – not covered by the station.

Just thought I’d look at the BBC slant when migrants were bussed from the US border to Democrat cities earlier this year. Not shy in reporting the frustration and anger of the incumbent population:

“New Yorkers are angry,” said Mayor Adams*. “I am angry too. We have not asked for this. There was never any agreement to take on the job of supporting thousands of asylum seekers […] The city is going to run out of funding for other priorities. New York City is doing all we can, but we are reaching the outer limit of our ability to help.” The city’s social services are “being exploited by others for political gain”, he added.

Compare / contrast this with our southern border, where the only crises are humanitarian ones suffered by the incoming masses and the BBC aren’t interested if we also are “reaching the outer limit of our ability to help”.

BBC, I think you are incorrect again. The BBC are claiming the Base Rate rise by the MPC is the largest since 1989. I think not. Base rate was increased by 2% on 16 September 1992. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Wednesday. Scroll down to fourth paragraph under the head ‘The Currency Traders Act’.

You know you can trust the BBC to get the facts wrong in their obfuscation. Why would they do that? Would John Major now be one of their favourite people for his opposition to Brexit?

More importantly, will Andrew Bailey be sacked as Governor of the Bank of England?

Yes. Eddie. Bailey has fallen into the same trap as Mark Carney, giving ‘forward guidance’. There was another one at it on TWatO with Jonny ‘Disjointed’ Dymond: Andrew Sentance. He ‘thinks’ the recession will last two years but not be a bad one or severe one.

Unless all our UK politicians give up on this NetZero nonsense, I’m not sure Sentance’s prediction is likely to be correct.

A classic bit of BBC mis-reporting in an incident that took place at Victoria Station.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-63489901

A busload of migrants had told the authorities they had family in London who would take them in so they were allowed to board a bus from the Manston facility to London provided by the authorities..

When the bus arrived at Victoria, 10 of them then announced they didn’t have family in London but the bus driver unloaded them anyway.

So you can either see this as the lie the BBC chose to do as a harsh dumping of vulnerable young men in the centre of London or the truth which is these men simply lied about having family who would look after them simply to get out of Manston and probably hoping to be ushered straight into a swanky hotel in Mayfair.

Coincidentally there happened to be a passing activist good samaritan who provided them with clothes, shoes and money… what are the chances of that?

The BBC obviously think that Joe Public swallows this guff because they are our “trusted” broadcaster.

Nothing could be farther from the truth!

    The emotive BBC headline:

“Cold, hungry migrants left stranded in London”

    Which should have been

“Migrants lie to the authorities to get out of Manston.”

Little-by-little the BBC are digging their own grave.

“The police were reportedly found to be “grossly deficient”, a QC representing the bereaved families told the inquiry. Survivor Andrea Bradbury, a former counterterrorism officer, said she could see firsthand the unpreparedness of emergency respondents as she was caught in the bombing while collecting her daughter from Ariana Grande’s concert.

Ron Blake also witnessed the emergency services’ incompetence when he tried to save concert-goer John Atkinson for the best part of an hour.

Mr Blake told the BBC he believes “big mistakes were made that night” of the blast and those in charge had “got it all wrong”.

He said: “It just seemed to last forever, seemed to go on and on and on. And nobody was coming. I just kept talking to John. He kept saying, ‘I’m going to die, aren’t I?'”

“I kept saying, ‘No, you’re not’.”

Mr Blake left Mr Atkinson’s side after an hour as medics arrived on the scene but later found out he had died when watching the news while he was in the hospital’s waiting room the following day

A firefighter, speaking anonymously to the BBC for fear of losing his job, admitted the response was “embarrassing” and “shameful”. He said firefighters “just waited and waited for instructions”, adding he is now feeling guilt.

The police were reportedly in disarray, paramedics mostly stayed out of the blast area and the fire service didn’t respond at all for more than two hours. Firefighters were held back at the station three miles away.

The emergency services “wholly failed to work together”, with the police said to be “grossly deficient”. ”

And you just know zero lessons will be learned because the real cause for all of it is Socialism, and without Socialism none of it would have happened.

It was Socialism which caused the Islamist to be here in the first place, it was Socialism which allowed him to remain here, and was Socialism which allowed him to become a violent exponent of his religion.
It was Socialism which prevented a single person from challenging the attacker out of fear of being called ‘racist or Islamofauxbik’

And this is why it will happen again, because Socialism can never challenged nor criticised.

      • Mustapha Sheikup al-Beebi says:

This is one big problem with an ever-expanding State sector, even in countries where there are capitalist firms and private property. More and more institutions become off-limits for criticism and accountability, leading to declining standards and, possibly, the multiple dysfunction as in aspects of the UK currently.

The Socialists claim that the State is the people: thus, any criticism of a State body, for instance the NHS or police, might be twisted into being an attack on the people. “An Enemy of the People” is clearly not something that you want to be labelled as, but that’s the risk you run if you do expose what happened in the Mid Staffs NHS or Rotherham children’s services, for instance.

Personally I’m tired of inquiries, headed by Dame Bloggs or some worthy, which finally report (at times understandably) years after the public sector crimes were committed, by which time people have “moved on” or retired due to “ill health” and when we can be fed the pabulum of “lessons will be learnt” rather than true accountability, e.g. sackings, prison sentences and loss of pension pots.

I’ve seen the circling of wagons in the public sector when anyone fails badly. That individual can often rely on a union to blame management and lack of training. Individual responsibility is replaced by collegiate responsibility and, as you can hardly sack or discipline everybody, the failing goes unpunished: “united we stand!”

The private sector has its failings and may throw you out of work but at least there is some chance of redress and no Crown immunity. The balance sheet should keep things reasonably “honest”, at least in the sense of being rooted in economic reality and not socialist fantasy, making it closer to ordinary people’s lives and budgeting.

It would be interesting to know which named individuals failed and how they were held responsible .

Whenever these attacks take place there is initial chaos and fear – particularly of ‘secondaries ‘ but those paid to be in charge are paid to know how to judge and handle that risk .

And the emergency services are paid to take risks for Their Public and if necessary pay a price . That comes with the job .

The next time will be different and the same

I hope the dead victims are in heaven and the killers are burning in Hell .the `bBC omit the cause of this mass murder – it was Islam .

BTW – the report is 716 pages long . For personal reasons I will read it – the first section names and describes those who died – an unusual thing in an official report . If any one is interested I will summarise on this BBC blog – invoking moderator privilege .

By its ‘ nature very few people are going to read that report – and even fewer will learn from so many just dumb life ending mistakes – it’s why I describe this stuff as ‘report porn ‘ – lessons won’t be learnt .

In fact – judging by what we are hearing about the quality of the current crop of plod – the response is likely to be even worse next time – if outside londonistan – ( I realise the fire and NHS failed too )

Here is a post of a voter from New York, and I think it interesting enough to post it here:

“I voted early in New York City yesterday. All that was asked of me was to provide the 3 first letters of my last name. Really, that was all. No ID, no full name, no address, nothing.

So I spelled out the first 3 letters of my last name and the woman merely replied, “Are you ____?”. I said yes. And that was that. I was given a ballot.

I don’t care whether voter fraud is “widespread” or not: it is simply preposterous on *principle* to allow people to vote in this manner. I do not know of any other civilized democracy in the world that allows for this.

What makes it even worse is the reason given for this “system” (or rather lack thereof). Democrats apparently believe that black people and “people of color” (like myself) are too inept to acquire a state ID card (which costs $9).
The Democrats are the racists: they believe that people of color are intellectually incapable of obtaining government ID (which, incidentally is also required in order to be a basic functioning member of society in any meaningful way: open a bank account, buy a car, etc).”

      It’s boilerplate stuff.

The above sentence is untrue . Her punishment is to start broadcasting on BBC news on Friday .____

    More Bull from Beeb.

England forward Beth Mead has said it is “disappointing” that the men’s World Cup is being held in Qatar.Mead, who is openly gay, does not think the Gulf state is the “right place” for the tournament to be staged.Homosexuality is illegal in Qatar because it is considered immoral under Islamic Sharia law. Speaking on Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour (what else), Mead said that was “the complete opposite to what I believe and respect”. Our Beth needs to be careful as under Sharia law ‘A non-Muslim who leads a Muslim away from Islam is punishable by death’.
All very strange if you ask me. Personally I couldn’t give a toss what Mead’s position is, including centre forward or left wing. In the UK we seem more than happy to welcome different cultures and religions, without any objection to their beliefs and practices. In fact it is welcomed as we must be ‘inclusive’. Indeed if you were to question or object to this there would be an immediate outbreak of accusations of ‘You’re a racist’ etc.
Yet here we are with no apparent respect for Qatars Muslim religious beliefs. When the football boot is on the other foot and it does not suit the woke agenda there is an outcry, so much so that some players will be wearing armbands in protest (I bet that works). Yet no one protests outside mosques in the UK, for example, where presumably Islamic Sharia Law is preached, or at Sharia councils or protests at their anti-gay stance.
I suppose it’s a case of having your cake and eating it. Not that cake should be part of a footballers diet and nor should alcohol, lots of sweets and drugs (that is if you are Muslim).

A very self-serving interview from Bailey of the Bank of England….self-serving for both him and the BBC as he served up the narrative that they want…..Truss is to blame for chaos and interest rate rises…the BBC actually repeatedly telling the lie that mortgage rates only started rising after the mini-budget and that the economy only crashed after the budget as well….thought heydo try to slip in ‘Brexit’ as a cause…today quoting someone, somewhere saying that 80% of inflation is due to Brexit……hmmmm…not fuel prices then…or covid or shipping containers…etc etc etc? Why ‘report’ such obviously partisan and dishonest claims at all? Clearly the BBC just wants to get the idea out there, however wild and unlikely, that Brexit is bad for us. It tries to poison your thinking and turn you against Brexit….as well as Truss of course….

‘Mr Bailey told the BBC he believed that the mini-budget had “damaged” the UK’s standing internationally.’

Oddly as the Pound plunges yet again after his rate hike the BBC doesn’t mention it…odd because the Pound falling, more, after the mini-budget was headline news on the BBC….naturally they failed to mention the Euro also fell, and indeed recently went below parity with the Dollar…and it was more the strength of the Dollar than the weakness of the Pound that led to the ‘fall’.

As Bailey plunges us into a deeper recession and raises the cost of mortages massively he tries to shift the blame onto Truss when everyone knows central banks are to blame…as indeed we read in the Telegraph today…

‘Elliott Management, the hedge fund founded by Wall Street billionaire Paul Singer, hit out at central bank rate-setters in an apocalyptic warning to clients as rate-setters bring the era of ultra-cheap money to an abrupt end.

It said central banks have been “dishonest” in deflecting blame for the price surge from their prolonged use of ultra-loose monetary policy.’

Still being dishonest but not getting called out on it by the BBC.

And go figure…from the Washington Post….

‘Markets Didn’t Oust Truss. The Bank of England Did.’
‘Markets didn’t oust Truss, the Bank of England did — through poor financial regulation and highly subjective crisis management.’

Truth is Truss was ousted by Bailey, his remainer chums and the likes of the BBC which launched a blitz of negative reporting about her policies and gave licence to the markets to strike.

Her policies? Ah yes…You mean those ones that Starmer supported so much of …19p tax rate, NI reversal, stamp duty etc….he opposed the cut to higher rate tax….and what of corporate tax? That wasn’t a ‘cut’…that was merely not raising it to the level Sunak proposed…ie it was staying the same….so hardly ‘unfunded’.

So what exactly did the ‘markets’ find so offensive? The most borrowing was to be for the energy support package…is the BBC saying we shouldn’t have that?

The BBC had a major role in ousting Boris, then Truss and is already manoeuvring against Sunak as he introduces, lol, ‘austerity’…and the longest recession since the war. The BBC has caused utter chaos and economic ruin with its games.

Bare in mind the IMF, having slammed Truss, shortly after admitted that her budget would lead to…growth…that’s growth, not the longest recession since the war….the highest growth in the G7.

So thanks BBC for shooting that down.

Even Adrew Neil recognised the likes of Bailey and his policies were dinosaurs….

‘ANDREW NEIL: Truss is taking a great gamble. But sticking with the failed policies of the past would be an even bigger one’

He did get one thing wrong though…the power of the Blob…

‘The Treasury, the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS), the Resolution Foundation and other like-minded social democratic organisations have long obsessed about the equity and income distribution consequences of any tax changes.

Such is their clout with the media, especially the BBC, that they have long inhibited Tory Chancellors from doing Tory things.

    No longer. ‘

It literally took mere days for them to get rid of another Tory PM.

Though we should understand that the Resolution Foundation, though led by a Labour stooge is a ‘cross party’ think tank…says Today…lol….it is a left-wing lobby group whose mantra is ‘More money’….which perfectly aligns with the BBC’s whose constant squawks for ‘more money’, or ‘unfunded tax rises’ as we might see it, echo across the airwaves day in day out.

    R4 6 o’clock news today

I heard something while driving about LNG being 10x more “carbon intense” than gas that comes through a pipe. A transparent attempt to smear LNG doubtless with the idea that some dumbcluck member of Hohn’s Conservative Environment Network will start bleating to Rishi about banning it…

BS I thought – anybody else hear it?

    • Mustapha Sheikup al-Beebi says:

Yes, I heard it too, Tomo. I think their argument was that in order to transport it, the LNG has to be cooled to (IIRC) minus 163 degrees C, which obviously requires energy, hence more “carbon intense”. The problem, then, is storage and transport, not the LNG per se.

      • tomo says:

        Mustapha

if it’s LNG – it’s defacto at -163°C – the energy required to cool/compress/store/transport vs. pipeline gas from Yamal and the carbon intensity do not seem to be explicitly stated anywhere in an authoritative fashion given a trivial search. The claim was delivered so glibly that my BS alarm pegged.

My immediate reaction to the unattributed BBC claim was “BS” – big BS – and likely sourced from the chronically mendacious fibbing gits at Carbon Brief or ECIU.

I’m minded to try a FoI request – I know others here have FoI’d the BBC – is asking for source attribution on national news bulletins a viable subject ? – anybody?

If you are truth telling you don’t just give an extreme scenario

BBC said “Analysis, seen by the BBC, shows that the production and transport of LNG
causes *up to* ten times the carbon emissions compared to pipeline gas.”

Bottomline is if you frack and burn the gas in a local power station, that saves loads of CO2 compared to otherwise.

BTW Drax power station almost entirely uses American trees, so there is a huge cutting and transport CO2 footprint
… compared to say : just mining the COAL which is directly under Drax.

Question Time… I just watched a representative number of very well-healled people, amongst them the senior exec of a huge supermarket chain shed bitter tears about the horrrid way the UK is treating migrants so here is a suggestion.

Let everyone on say over £100,000 a year be given responsibility for looking after one migrant financially and housing etc., this would rise by an additional migrant for every extra £100,00 they earn so for instance someone earning a million a year would need to provide for 10 migrants.

That way the poorer people in the Country would not be shouldering the burden as they are now and the wealthy people could sleep happily in their beds with a clear conscience. It would also distribute the migrants to affluent areas instead of flooding working class Northern areas.

These rich people who can afford this social conscience could claw probably some of this back by employing these migrants on minimum wage like the rest of their employees who are currently shouldering the cost.

I am sure there are enough wealthy people in this country to make this problem go away.

The greatest lie ever sold : the rise of BLM and the missing 80 million dollars they raised, 500 K spent on sex workers…it goes on:

    some reviews:

I give this 10 stars not necessarily because the production is anything fantastic, but because this was very informative. Candace Owens covers the stories that the mass media does not want to. BLM stole millions of dollars from supporters by spending lavishly on themselves (yes be wary of anything called a “non-profit”, they show no profit but they pay their staff ridiculous salaries or embezzle most of the money, this is why i do not give to many “non-profit” organizations that enrich their staff instead of demanding volunteerism of their own ownership). But BLM is not even a charity, it was a scam, as revealed in this film. Look at where the BLM owners live today, in houses and properties worth millions. Anyone who gave money and time to BLM just enriched people underserving of their charity. Companies that give to BLM should be ashamed.

The George Floyd story is sad but the entire truth needed to come out, which this documentary achieves in doing. This is investigative journalism, something lacking the past 2 decades because of the political control of mass media mostly by the Democrat party. We do not have journalists anymore in the mass media, just political pundits expressing their biases. We need more Candace Owens type investigative journalism, and less political opinionated punditry in those pretending to be journalists.

This documentary was shocking. Candace Owens uncovered many truths surrounding BLM. The mainstream media does not share anything outside their agenda so a big thank you to Candace and the Daily Wire for doing ACTUAL journalism. Many people in the US have been fed an agenda of lies. These types of documentaries are essential to the citizens of this country. “The media is your enemy.” This quote from Candace is absolutely true and very scary. We need both sides to every story. Unfortunately, the fraud surrounding BLM has led to lost lives, damaged property and a dangerous and false narrative. Thank you Candace.

Candace Owens answers the question that skeptics have never stopped asking, a question which donors are too ashamed to ask out loud: What has BLM done with all the money?

Other questions also feature: Is Derek Chauvin truly guilty?

Is the true story of George Floyd being told?

How has BLM impacted black communities?

    Why do celebrities support looters?

Why do Democrats seem to love racial turmoil?

And why is there such a strong tie between BLM and transgender ideologues?

We don’t get all the answers. We don’t even get to see where most of the money went. But the portion we do see is alarming. The answers we do get are game-changing. And Candace Owens proves again to be best suited to pose the questions that linger.

Candace has produced a full picture of the rise of BLM, and as communities awaken to the scam, as donors demand answers – such a picture will aid in its ultimate fall. Poignant, straightforward, well-paced, and witty, Greatest Lie is the documentary that no one else was willing to make, but that all of us needed – some passionately, some secretly, and others who will only realize it when they see it.

    Today watch

It’s not so much what they are reporting today – but what is missing .

There are two big serious issues the BBC has swerved

The first is the report on the abject failure of our world beating emergency services in responding to the Islamic attack at the Manchester arena – it’s just gone . A 761 page forensic examination of avoidable failures …… god knows what the surviving victims and families of the bereathed think .

The second issue is that of the Far Left Greta Thunberg – a mental foreign teenager who has had the adoration of far to many people in power -who should know better .

Now she has declared herself an anti west Marxist aiming to bring down the existing system …. All that attention she got – and now ? Silence .

I would submit that the omission of both these stories is evidence of BBC bias . Anything which directly or indirectly harms the ‘image ‘ of Islam is suppressed – whether it is killing children or raping them .

And Greta ? Anything which undermines the green crap propaganda – such as he declaration of fighting the economic system and bring up back to the Stone Age – is suppressed .

Meanwhile – the idiot in charge of the Bank of England opened his mouth yesterday and further convinced the market that the UK is failing to control inflation – a 0.75% rate increase and the pound fell !

2023 is looking bleak – as is 2024 and 2025 – assuming the Ukraine war / commodity prices remain where they are ….
