I saw a little of Wishi Washi Sanak’s Cop 27 speech yesterday. God, it was ghastly.

It was the same tiresome old rhetoric, perfectly crafted for this particular audience, but totally impractical.

I’m not particularly worried about climate change, I think we can handle any “problems”, whatever they are.

However, thousands of elderly, poor and vulnerable British people die each year during the winter months, due to the cold. When I was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels (yonks ago) I would often visit old people who were sitting in the cold and dark, wrapped up like Captain Oates, terrified of their energy bills.

The likes of XR and Just Stop Oil, who are generally well heeled, spoiled middle-class kids, don’t meet many poor or elderly people; they’re not at uni’…and anyway they’re far more concerned about polar bears and ice caps than a few old “gammons”.

During the recent election contest Sunak seemed keen on shale. A U turn. He wasn’t going to attend this virtue signalling junket; another U turn.

We’re standing on top of enough coal to last us 150 years, we have shale gas, oil in the North Sea and we could have been building nuclear, but no, we’ve indulged the green fanatics and now we’re in trouble.

We’ve been warned that there could be severe energy shortages this winter.

And Sunak is still tilting at windmills…

Election day on BBC: “US voters share their fears.”

Six case studies; 3 dems, 3 republicans. So far so good… balanced and fair; trusted and impartial. Their key concerns align with what we expect — abortion rights, gun reform on the left and economy / cost of living on the right.

The slant is that “protecting democracy” features high for two of the dems but is noticeably absent from the other side, which also happens to include an evangelical Christian who lists the Bible as his biggest influence.

It isn’t hard to find Republicans similarly concerned about the erosion of democracy. But that would open up a whole can of political worms, so instead we get to witness BBC sampling methods in all their partisan glory.

I notice they were only allowing Biden to appear at very friendly places like Maryland – I am still deeply suspicious that those ‘balance ‘ states will be the ones the Obama mafia will put most effort into fixing – if they are not fixed already and the votes are already in ….

I do enjoy those moments in BBC reports which includes the word ‘unfounded ‘ as a prefix to and mention of presidential voting fraud …..
Maybe it’s a sort of comfort blanket the BBC editors like to put in to feel good …

.. the outcome of these elections will be … interesting … will democrats claim to have been defrauded of their election win ? Or will it be the republicans ( again ) ….

.. will there be assassinations – on either side ?

If the ‘tradition ‘ is followed that the party in power gets a kicking – will Obama Biden just say ‘we expected this and it’s normal to lose …. (“ and it shows democrats don’t fix elections “)….

Thoughtful – thanks for posting this very useful guide – it’s a shame it costs £9.99 for the non free stuff …

BTW – I wonder if there will be ‘voter shame ‘ about admitting they are voting Republican – as happened here when online people didn’t admit to voting blue labour , ?

And wouldn’t it be nice if BBC MSM coverage was as objective as this briefing from a self confessed independent ‘

    Abdul – errrr, non- white
    Syabira – ditto
Janusz – could be white , looks pretty tanned.

Yep. That’s the BBC version of Britain.

In intention, at any rate, the English intelligentsia are Europeanized. They take their cookery from Paris and their opinions from Moscow. In the general patriotism of the country they form a sort of island of dissident thought. England is perhaps the only great country whose intellectuals are ashamed of their own nationality. In left-wing circles it is always felt that there is something slightly disgraceful in being an Englishman and that it is a duty to snigger at every English institution, from horse racing to suet puddings. It is a strange fact, but it is unquestionably true that almost any English intellectual would feel more ashamed of standing to attention during “God save the King” than of stealing from a poor box.

So once again is deceiving by suggesting it’s NEW news, when it isn’t.

    It’s BBC #GreenSupremacist Agenda

Then a few mins later It’s Law In Action
First item for 15 minutes was ‘Here’s a lawyer who specialises in protest law’
” Yes, Look at these poor XR protesters the evil Tories are trying to increase laws to stop them obstructing the highway
There was a great judgement a few months back that says it’s OK to partially block the highway”
The presenter helped by suggesting that someone carrying a bicycle lock might be maliciously arrested.
FFS nobody is innocently walking around a protest carrying a lock, either it’s on your bike or you are carrying it to cause an obstruction.

Then there was a shy police spokesman
but no voice saying XR are gangsters using intimidation to get their way over democracy.

It was more BBC #GreenSupremacist Agenda
    =====

Then the prog moved on a US black agenda
A new law in California restricts the use of rap lyrics to show criminial intent
after a bad a bad cop deceived a jury by saying “laying down a track” meant kill someone.

    That’s BBC #WhiteGuilt Agenda

    =====

And the 3:30pm show BBC eco activist panel
“COP27 Can it improve on pledges made last year in Glasgow?

The level of anti-Trump hysteria on the Guardian website is remarkable. Their favourite lefty columnists are queueing up to unload their childish bile and slurs.

No doubt they are being triggered by the growing fear of a Democrat rout in the mid-terms and the inevitable possibility then of Trump having a run at the Presidency in two years.

Meanwhile the BBC cannot hide their partisanship using the headline “Control of Congress AT STAKE in midterm elections”.

“At Stake” suggests that this would be a dangerous loss rather than a shift of power and thus neatly reveals their allegiance.

    All very delightful to behold!

On other matters I see that several Public sector lefty unions are stirring up for strike action. So “Public Servants like teachers, lecturers, NHS workers are planning to join in like lemmings. It’s worthy of note that the only “workers” threatening to come out are those that are paid by forced levies on Joe Public through direct Taxes on earnings. In addition, these “workers” have amongst the best holiday entitlements and retirement conditions of all workers not to mention, in my opinion, very respectable pay levels already. They all need a stint on the checkouts at any major Supermarket to find out what real hard work and low rewards feel like

    Reflections on Gavin Williamson.
Personally I thought he was useless and no idea why Sunak appointed him.and he may well be an odious little man.
    But…..
If he was abusive to someone at the MoD, does it not strike you as odd that the complaint has only just been made ? He left the MoD in 2019. I mean, it’s not as if it is a carefully constructed method of destabilising the government, is it? LOL.

And then again, if you were the minister and are up against the unending, immovable, useless blob that is the civil service, deliberately trying to undermine the government, might you not occasionally blow up and explode out of sheer frustration? I would.

He screwed up, but he may not have been totallly wrong.

This is the big problem with the world now.

Right and wrong don’t matter any more. If you aren’t in line with whatever agenda the Leftists decide they have today, you are wrong.

It’s the modern version of a kangaroo court.

Hollywood actor Sean Penn gives his Oscar to Zelensky
    https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-europe-63561236

The BBC are wetting their already-soaked panties again – this time because ‘Hollywood Actor’ Sean Penn gave Zelensky his Oscar.

Firstly Sean Penn is a prize tw@t.

Secondly giving Zelensky an Oscar for his performance as President – though well deserved – is a complete piss-take !. It means he’s exceptional at acting while saying something completely fake.

What am I missing here ?.

Sean Penn had a collection of 67 guns. When he started going out with actress Charlize Theron, she persuaded him to get rid of them, and they were turned into a “sculpture” by Jeff Koons.
Then Penn and Theron split up.
What a waste. I bet Zelensky would’ve liked them guns.
