Not bbc, but given how all these mass ‘debates’ are usually structured, from guests to selected speakers, it is interesting when things veer from platforming broadcast opinion to pertinent questions, it all falls apart.

A proper debate hosted by a properly informed, impartial broadcaster would be… novel.

      Until then…

        Telford?

It revealed more than 1,000 girls had been abused over a 40 year period, and that agencies blamed victims for the abuse they suffered, not the perpetrators, and some cases of exploitation were not investigated because of “nervousness about race”. The report made 47 recommendations for improvement by agencies involved.

Patients are waiting longer on average for NHS treatment than they were in 1997, despite the billions of pounds poured into the health service since Labour came to power.

The kind of deceit shown by this red labour creature reminds me why I will never vote for them . The NHS is just another area of life 12 years of Tory control has failed to address .
Even the incompetence shown during the Chinese virus failed to give an opportunity for change – the medical mafia are still there and still running things for their personal advantage – not the patients …..

I was shocked that of all people – comrade Simon Jenkins – writing in The Guardian today – says it is time for the professional unions – medical – legal – teaching – be squared up …. But won’t happen …

There’ll be no difference if red Labour get control – and they’ll just spend 4? Years blaming blue labour for failure ….

I see the doctor is that hard up he has to wear scrubs, could that be where the money is going, providing off duty clothing for anychess staff.

When I moved to France, I was shown a house that was obviously a holiday home some one was flogging off. All the furniture was covered with anychess marked sheets.

BBC Trudeau News Drop … when no one cares …. will be replaced by other news by the morning … nice … timing is everything.

Mr Trudeau’s political rivals also noted this is not Mr Trudeau’s first ethics violation.

In December 2017, the federal ethics commissioner office found that Mr Trudeau’s luxury trips to the Aga Khan’s island in the Bahamas violated four conflict of interest rules.

Mr Trudeau, his family, and some senior members of the Liberal Party vacationed on the island owned by the philanthropist and spiritual leader in 2016.

Dawit, who did not want us to show his face, has fled Eritrea in eastern Africa

Many asylum seekers entre the UK via perilous boat journeys across the English Channel

Dee Allen, director of Hatters Hotel in Skegness, twice refused Home Office requests to house asylum-seekers

Chantelle Kelly believes the country is not in a strong enough position to support asylum seekers

Back in the shelter, Dawit delivers a message for the people of Skegness and the wider population.

He says: “Just be friendly to us. You do not know our situation. It is not our fault that we are here.”

How many Muslims are in Eritrea?
In a 2016 report by Aid to the Church in Need, that organization estimated around 50 percent of Eritrea’s population adhered to Islam, and 48 percent followed Christianity, with all remaining religions accounting for two percent.

    ……
    You will also notice this (immigration) is a one way street. Not once in my adult life have I heard anybody say that the thing that Eritrea (Africa) needs most is an injection of Welshmen. They could do with some Welsh cooking or singing. ” Douglas Murray {@7:24 youtube}

The pandemic appears to have spared Africa so far. Scientists are struggling to explain why
Antibody studies suggest large numbers of infections have occurred but the death toll remains low
    11 AUG 2020

    https://www.science.org/content/article/pandemic-appears-have-spared-africa-so-far-scientists-are-struggling-explain-why

Although Africa reported its millionth official COVID-19 case last week, it seems to have weathered the pandemic relatively well so far, with fewer than one confirmed case for every thousand people and just 23,000 deaths so far. Yet several antibody surveys suggest far more Africans have been infected with the coronavirus—a discrepancy that is puzzling scientists around the continent. “We do not have an answer,” says immunologist Sophie Uyoga at the Kenya Medical Research Institute–Wellcome Trust Research Programme
