Earlier I mentioned that our local media are having a festival of windfarm PR as they are all on a free trip to Denmark
to promote the first day of direct flights. from Humberside Airport.

I meant to add some context
cos as ever news reports MISLED by omitting it
#1 Almost all wind farm firms are foreign owned so are continually flying in staff from Germany and Denmark
and flying UK staff there for training.
This is total hypocrisy given the premise of the biz is reducing CO2.

#2 So far from being a brand new thing today’s change means that staff can fly on a commercial flight rather than charter or coming in via Amsterdam

#3 Indeed the media ran similar stories in 2014 and 2016 when similar flights started
    ..both only lasted 6 months
AFAIK The Danish company then ran daily charter planes for some time to bring in Danish workers

Only the ITV evening show opened with quick context that commercial flights had started and failed before.

#4 flight radar showed that today’s flight took a bizarre route
First fling well inland and up over Newcastle , instead of a shorter route ..straight east

Otherwise the ITV piece was a straight polished ADVERT
Sickening lines likes “A step to a brighter greener future”
“336,000 wind farm industry jobs were advertised in the UK”
    probably a fake number
    Green jobs is a fallacy
cos really efficient industry means LESS jobs and therefore lower prices.. green biz is the opposite

Oh the item even had clips from wind industry PR material

I found the program ‘Winfarm wars’ very interesting.

Everybody involved was interested in only one thing : money. Though of course none of them explicitly said it at the start.

The interesting part was that after the public inquiry, we were told that by all normal rules, the farm would not be allowed. But there was a special rule for windfarms which overruled everything else so it was approved.

Switch to Radio Lincolnshire and there was an amazing polished piece that made out a FALL inflation is really a RISE.

    Red-io Humberside Sunday morning news
    was utterly predictable
It had the usual news item “And coming up in our Politics North TV programme”
This time it was “Hull Labour MP Dian Johnson says something about trains”..clip then “You can hear more in our Politics North TV programme”

    =====

Wednesday morning new bulletins had a big item
“Hull Labour MP Karl Turner has said something about the Fenner Dunlop factory in Hull closing”
Turner clip “Oh these 70 jobs are being lost cos the company is being brave and obeying anti Russia sanctions, you see 90% of its biz was with Russia ”

    Well is that true ?
.. Fenner Dunlop make conveyor belts for the mining industry
And what do Karl Turner and his mates in the Red/Blue Islington Socialist Party do ?
… They hate mines in Britain and try to stop them.. they only like to expand Lithium and rare Earth metal mining in China and Africa.

To be fair the Whitby Potash mine is about to open

ITV reported more Hull job losses : Hull only has 2 fishing boats , they are big industrial trawlers
but cos the Red Tories are so crap at Brexit and just give away our fish without negotiating proper exchange, one of the Hull boats the Farnella is being sent to Germany to be decommissioned

Next item : Fly tipping featured the same farmer who is in 50% of their farming stories.
      – PR Item plugging an ITV celeb medical show
      – PR item for RSPCA campaign
      – PR item about new tech for disabled people …seems to be {PR for Google

“Boy, 14, is killed as riots break out in France after Morocco’s World Cup defeat to Les Bleus: Carnage breaks out as football fans clash in the streets of Paris, Nice and Montpellier after The Atlas Lions crash out of FIFA tournament semi

Shocking video footage has emerged of the moment a teenage boy was run down on the streets of Montpellier as Moroccan fans riot following their World Cup semi final defeat to France.

The boy, 14, was part of a large group of what appeared to be Moroccan supporters marauding down Rue de la Mosson in the southern French city when they happened upon a white hatchback with a French flag flying out of its window.

The group descended on the car, attempting to rip the flag away from its owner, when the driver panicked and performed a hasty U-turn to cross into the oncoming lane and make a quick getaway.”

I see we now have multiple articles on the murder of Zara Aleena including empathy pieces from people telling us how wonderful she was. I haven’t seen this level of coverage since that copper killed Sarah Everard. The BBC have three seperate articles up on the main page today.

Contrast that with the extremely limited reporting on the equally brutal murders of Sabina Nessa and Hina Bashir who were also just walking the streets when they were attacked.

Why have these latter 2 effectively been brushed under the carpet ?.

    Here’s why:
The murderers for for the first two are called Wayne Couzens and Jordan McSweeney. Both are white British.

The killers for the second two are called Koci Selamaj and Mohammed Arslan. Both are BAME.

It stinks to high heaven. It’s absolutely racist and proves the Leftist BBC don’t care one bit about who gets murdered or how horribly they die. They only push the story if they can use it for their agenda against white males.

I am stunned at how it happens so blatantly and they all ignore it. What extreme hypocrites people in the media really are. I despise their ethics.

    Order of service edition

A minor typo on the BBC news website brings a momentary smile on this chilly winter’s morning. Under the headline: Bank of England expected to raise interest rates – our Beeb boys and girls refer to the: the cost if living

Perhaps there’s a freudian slip from the left-leaning BBC there somewhere involving that old saying to the effect we’re all equal in the cemetary

No such economic worries then for: Four dead after migrant dinghy sinks in Channel – they’ve gone to a much better place afterall… or, as Irish comic Dave Allen might have concluded: May their god go with them

With mortality in mind – memento mori – as the ancient artistic symbolism would have it, one turns to the Daily Mirror’s blacked out frontpage and garish yellow screamer: We are with you – this motto of course the Labour-supporting Mirror volunteers with which it presumes to speak for the public in direct reply to their headline of yesterday which they put into the mouths of striking healthworkers: We’re doing this for you

As is their wont the decidedly heart-on-sleave Mirror’s leftist political outlook ought really to be always bolstered by the conjuring of a veritable orchestra of tiny violins: You cared for us when we needed it most – surely this smacks of an epitaphic commentary on our NHS.

    Engraved on its tombstone

And the way things are going – and the way things went during their inappropriate Lockdown – with hospital and GP surgery closures – the whiff of finality and remembrance shrouds those words.

    Earth to earth
    Ashes to ashes
    Bevan to Hancock
    Dust to dust
    Starched uniforms to scruffy scubs
    Tik to Tok
In sure and certain hope of something better
We now commit the NHS to the graveyard of history

The Mirror temps us with: Now the decent people of Britain say to our nurses…

Maybe you could do with losing a pound or two there yourself, luv, before giving us the health advice?

Do you speak English, at all?

Oddly enough the polling upon which this public sympathy for the striking nurses is assumed gets quoted frontpage of the Daily Express which goes with: Give nurses a deal and stop this madness… Polling reveals 52 per cent of voters strongly support… – ah, that old 52-48 result, whereupon anti-Brexiteers claimed we in the 52s were naively duped.

So you get a phonecall from a pollster who asks (in terms) – Do you support the angels as advertised in Call The Midwife on BBC One this coming Christmas Day? Or are you a mean old sod?

Big Pharma cashing in again: Regulators are investigating whether drug groups are charging too much for antibiotics after a rise in cases of Streptococcus A lifted demand (FT) – that’s scarlet fever to you and me.

Take the left-leaning ‘i’ newspaper (if that’s your rag and the opinions of the likes of Jasmin Alibhai-Brown are your bag) you would think that organ tended antithetical to money-grubbing big corporations getting fat off the nation’s health concerns – but oh how wrong you would be: NHS ‘prescribing nature’ really does work!

The ever hypochondriacal ‘i’ newspaper sets out to put the frighteners up parents everywhere and send them rushing off to A&E with their sick kids: I thought my daughter had a bad cold. Now she’s in intensive care with Strep A – and that, dear readers, is precisely why we could do with a return to accessible local GP family doctors – and why it is near criminal for them to have closed their doors.

Waste is endemic in almost every corner of the service, ranging from the huge variations in prices paid by different trusts for the same basic supplies — with some hospitals paying twice as much as others for identical loo rolls and wet-wipes — to harebrained IT schemes and management reorganisations that see billions of pounds diverted into the pockets of technology companies and management consultants (many of whom once worked for the NHS).

The NHS went tits up with wastage when they started contracting out. That was when it became a cash cow for all the companies who were given contracts for maintenance, cleaning, catering and the rest. Care and quality went down the pan after that.

A local hospital nearby, when they were crying out for PPEs during the height of the pandemic, had a lorry load turn up on Friday afternoon, but the onsite depot taking the stock finished early on Fridays, so the lorry couldn’t unload and didn’t return until after the weekend ! Bodyguard has been a huge hit for BBC One – and now it’s coming to Netflix.

The streaming network has acquired the rights to show the gripping thriller outside the UK and Ireland.

However, it’s not the BBC that has done the deal. In fact, the show has been sold to Netflix by ITV Studios.

That’s because the drama was made by production company World Productions, which was bought by ITV’s programme-making and distribution subsidiary ITV Studios last year.

Deals like this are now normal practice in the TV world.

I’m guessing that Harry Hewitt will have enough material for another set of documentaries – and then a documentary about the documentaries . I suppose his step father will have to decide whether to remove any remaining rights or titles and financial support now – or after the coronation .

The thought of Harry Hewitt and his wife ever coming to Britain seems distant …. I’m sure someone here with access to Netflix will review the latest 3 hours – on top of the coverage the bBC is giving it .
I guess it performs a function in distracting people away from the never ending grimness of Blighty ….

Back in October 2020, Sadiq Khan famously solved racism by introducing “Let’s Talk About Race” training. Earlier this year it became mandatory in City Hall, with every employee required to complete it to ensure the GLA would be “a committedly anti-racist organisation”. “Our capital’s diversity is its greatest strength, but the makeup of too many organisations, especially at their highest levels, fails to present a true picture of modern London”…

How’s it going? Well, at the Oversight Committee yesterday, GLA Chief Executive Officer was asked about the completion rates of the training. The team with the worst completion rate is… Sadiq Khan’s office.

At the same committee, it was also revealed that the draft diversity and inclusion budget for City Hall is £700,000 for 2023-2024. The total budget for supporting people in food poverty? £400,000.

Elimination of modern slavery and human trafficking
RNLI statement on the elimination of modern slavery and human trafficking. This statement is for the year ending 31/12/2021.

The RNLI does not fall within the scope of the Modern Slavery Act obligation criteria. However, during 2021 the RNLI Executive Team confirmed that we will continue to make an annual statement and take relevant action in line with the requirements of the legislation.

The RNLI has zero-tolerance toward slavery and human trafficking and does not accept modern slavery in any form. In our operations and supply chain, we work with partners and suppliers to ensure compliance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 (“the Act”).

Boris Becker: Former Wimbledon champion released after serving eight months of prison sentence

Unfortunately the image of the’ Angel nurses’ is so strong that they are unlikely to be damaged by striking – however many people die or are harmed as a result .

If only the NHS could be taken on – but it’s far to big to be put right …. It will continue to increasingly hoover up public resources with no better return ….

GB News can be just as bad as other tv/ radio stations. They were interviewing a nurse on the picket line who knows lots of nurses who are coming to work on an empty stomach because they cannot afford to eat, and they have to go to food banks. Even if they are single mums, they will be getting family allowance, 10% off their groceries, if they are so poor their children will be getting free school means and the money that Rashford got for them. But even single mums should be getting support from the fathers of their children. Just what are they doing with all the money coming in. We also keep hearing about the huge sums hospital trusts are paying for each session worked on the bank. So these desperately poor and hungry nurses could park the kids with their dads whilst they worked a bank session, and then they could eat for the week (probably on black truffles and caviar if the rates that are sometimes quoted are correct).
However the interviewer at GBNews (I was listening on the radio so not sure who the interviewer was), and the nurse being interviewed then realised that they may be losing support from the many poorer than nurses) and switched to the idea that nurses are striking because they fear for their patients. I have observed in hospitals there are nurses that work, and there are nurses who seem to move at snail’s pace. I can understand one of the former (ie worker) getting to the end of their tether when so many of the latter see isolating because of covid and ideal opportunity to have a break and leave the workers on the ward to cover. But replacing diversity officers with nurses would help this situation.

Bloomberg (billionaire democrat-funding philanthropist and WEF partner) positing one of those ‘questions’ via a nicely placed third-party stooge: “Should the Climate Movement Embrace Property Destruction?”

“The task for the climate movement is to make clear for people that building new pipelines, new gas terminals, opening new oil fields are acts of violence that need to be stopped — they kill people” […] Malm argues that while the majority of climate action should remain non-violent, no social sea change — from the suffragettes to the Civil Rights Movement — has succeeded through completely peaceful activism. “We shouldn’t engage in assassinations or terrorism, or use arms and things like that,” he says. “But until that line or boundary, we need virtually everything … all the way up to sabotage and property destruction.”

I think we see where this is going. (Bloomberg article 2024: “Should the Climate Movement Embrace Assassinations and Terrorism?”)

Using their ‘live’ reporting technique which they found so successful against Boris, the BBC are now using it against the Royal Family.

Every time I check the front page, they have changed the headline to another selected quote from Harry which makes Royal family sound cold and heartless. It’s one after the other. It’s exactly what they did to Boris and it’s no coincidence that every time they do it, it’s in line with their own political agenda.

The really sick thing about this is that they know full well they can do whatever they like because the Royal Family will never get involved in tit-for-tat gutter press like this.

I’m not a fan of the Royal Family at all – but IMHO they are the least worst alternative to what we will have if the socialist BBC get what they want. We would have had someone like Blair in there and just imagine how that would have turned out considering the damage he has done already.

The BBC are out of control. They don’t care one bit if they are completely out of touch with the people who are forced to fund them. They are now using their reach on a crusade to force the world to follow their far-Left ideology. They have no comprehension at all from their group-think bubble about how much they are actually despised.

This is the power the BBC currently have. Panorama is the most biased hypocritical trash I have ever seen which uses ‘lies by omission’ to the extreme – but the BBC have learned that they can make whatever they like then use their tricks to push it repeatedly in their ‘news’ and that pressure forces government policy in the direction they want. It’s leftist activism pure and simple.
