It’s funny how ‘PM’ and the BBC like to stress that “outsiders” have come in to cause trouble (“Far Right”, naturally!) there in Skegness and in the Knowsley case recently. No mention of the trouble caused by other outsiders (the Far Left in general, Hope Not Hate, Antifa, BLM, etc) when they turn up in areas where they don’t live.
People know that Australia did the same 4 years ago ?

“… might have been suffering from mental health issues>” Here we go again …
From the BBC News website:
“A high school student has stabbed a teacher to death in a school in the French town of Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
French government spokesman Olivier Véran confirmed Wednesday’s attack and said the perpetrator was 16 years old.
Police attended Saint-Thomas d’Aquin school with the local prosecutor, where the student was arrested.
French newspaper Sud Ouest said the attacker entered the classroom while the teacher was giving a Spanish class and attacked her.
The teacher was in her 50s and died of cardiac arrest after emergency services arrived at the school, local media reported.
French TV station BFM said the attacker locked the classroom door and stabbed the teacher in her chest.
Local prosecutor Jerome Bourrier said that an investigation had been opened by local police for assassination and the suspect was in custody. He added that the suspect was not known to the police or the justice system.
The prosecutor will give a news conference on Thursday afternoon to give further details about the investigation.
… … …
Local media reported the student might have been suffering from mental health issues. They said at this stage of the investigation there was no suggestion the incident was terror-related.
A teacher was today stabbed to death by a pupil who rambled about being “possessed by the devil” in a frenzied knife attack in front of a packed class at a school in France.
… … …
“She was stabbed through the chest,” said the source, without naming either the attacker or the victim.
… … …
The witness told the local Sud Ouest newspaper: “We saw him take something out of his bag, an object surrounded by paper.
“Then he headed for the door. We thought he wanted to go to the bathroom. In fact, he blocked access.
“The teacher was then at the blackboard, near this door. He then turned around and struck a blow with what looked like a screwdriver, at the level of the throat. We heard a scream, then nothing”.
There was then an “immediate panic” as “everyone tried to get out through a door leading to another class”.
… …
So, was this awful stabbing really to the teacher’s chest/sternum? “… at the level of the throat” would seem to be above that and is a known modus operandi of certain people; see Qur’an 47.4. France 24 said she was stabbed in the chest:
“I didn’t see him get up but I saw him in front of the teacher,” fellow classmate Ines, 16, told reporters.
“He was very calm. He got closer to her and plunged a big knife into her chest without saying anything,” she added.
Yahoo Actualites uses the expression “aurait fait irruption dans la salle avec un couteau” = “(is said to have) burst into the classroom with a knife” which seems strange if he was a student in the class and thus already in the room. I doubt we will be told the whole truth, especially if it is the usual suspects (which it may not be, of course).
I was in a Sainsburys today and there was a serious disturbance by the cucumbers . Nobody knew what they are but the BBC had told them there was a shortage ….
This maybe false news ….
BTW – I got back from my med hideout after 2 weeks yesterday and it was wet cold and windy a lot of the time … which apparently is bad for fruit and veg …
Saw that Sluff . I was raging, turned straight off !!!
A look on the bbc hashtag shows all the Remoaners rejoicing at pictures of full shelves in EU land. It just has to be Brexit. It makes my blood boil.
Thing is , my local M&S was fully stocked earlier here in Derbyshire. No issues at all but there WILL BE THIS WEEK NOW due to the BBC whipping up frenzy again aka the fake petrol shortage ….

‘Shamima Begun who travelled AS A CHILD…….etc.’
So. Absolutely no doubt where the BBC stand on the issue. They then re-inforced the child message when the story later was covered. She was trafficked. That’s the narrative. Cue adverts for the Shamima Begum BBC podcast.

…..if she had her British citizenship removed how on earth does she qualify for legal aid? There will of course be another lengthy appeal so that’s another £5m.
Zephir the Mail do not say that. They say £2m total for both sides “Legal experts believe that the cost of the case – in which Begum received legal aid – has already cost more than £2million.”
“Paul Fulcher, says.”
‘If the whole process starts again and ends up at the Supreme Court, the whole thing *could* cost taxpayers upwards of £5million.’”
That’s both sides not just the legal aid
Unfortunately, the Mail headline said precisely that:
“MI5 accuses Shamima Begum of ‘self serving PR attempts’ with magazine cover and TV interviews in her failed bid to win British citizenship appeal – leaving taxpayers with £5million legal aid bill “
@Zephir The mail claim you made in the first tweet was wrong by their own admisson
I was right an you were right
The Mail DOES not say it
The Mail clickbait headline page did once say it Google’s cache
but that line is not in the actual article
I quoted the less dramatic lines above
NOW The only functioning page that google finds with that phrasein , is this page here on BiasedBBC cos you wrote it
Shamima Begum has lost her challenge over the decision to deprive her of British citizenship despite a "credible" case she was trafficked.https://t.co/DEL6e4sLtK
It’s credible she wasn’t trafficked too
so why mention one and not the other ?
It’s credible Jihadi John was groomed and trafficked etc.
The general legal principle is not really about her, it’s about the future
That Britain is SAFER if we send a message to future terrorist supporters that Britain doesn’t rollover and let terrorists back in
that there are consequences
and that there is no simple trick like saying “I was groomed etc.”
Even if that outcome is unfair on the individual ex-terrorist.
Stew, you unintentionally took me back to the pre-woke era there! I accidentally read ”Jihadi John” as ”Jilted John”. My mind flashed back to a late seventies comic rock song about a young man named John, dumped by his “slag” girlfriend in favour of the “moron” and “poof” Gordon.
I can’t quite imagine the BBC playing this any more. It is homophobic, sexist and mocks the intellectually disadvantaged. (The fact it’s very funny wouldn’t cut much ice with them.)
What happened to the humour and common sense the British prided ourselves on?
There was another disturbing item covered by Beth Turner on GB News this evening… though Beth didn’t exactly cover herself with glory…
Apparently, Sheffield council have asked some trannie cartoonist, Sophie Labelle, to give a talk that will be available to kids aged as young as thirteen. Gives me the shivers.
Now, this bloke has a fetish (other than dressing up as a woman) that involves nappies. He finds them a turn on. I mean, in any other age we’d be avoiding this geezer like the Bubonic plague. These days we’re giving him a venue to spout his poisonous perversions and we’re paying him to do so. FFS, has Britain gone mad?
What particularly p1ssed me off about Beth’s coverage of this was her constant referring to this bloke as “she” and “her”. It’s a nonsense. A bit of lippy, a blonde wig and some judiciously placed implants don’t make you a woman.
Jeff
I’m trying to find a parallel to the madness . Is it the hippy period during the 60s? I suppose part of the cause is social media where any view can be treated as sensible – apart frin unapproved one’s of course .
Once the law gets muddled by men in ladies changing rooms claiming to be women you know the plot really is lost – together with words or actions which hypothetically ‘offend ‘ and the mess is made worse – offending someone becomes a criminal act …
Not so much a parallel to the hippy period, but many of those who were at American universities in the late 1960s went on to work in large companies, media, law, education, and move into politics.
Frankfurt School 1930s –> University of California Berkerley 1950s –> Hippies & Marijuana/LSD 1967 –> Wokery 2000’s
She says she has already lost two children to illness in the war-torn country and wants to return to the UK with her son whom she gave birth to at the weekend.
Ms Begum’s lawyer Tasnime Akunjee told The Independent her family planned to launch a legal challenge against the home secretary’s decision.
I’ve had cause to explore legal aid and came away thinking that it could be quite a cozy cartel kind of thing where like minded people bend the rules for their mates.
The purse strings look a lot looser if you’re inside the judiciary and have “connections”.
The application process looks to glide along if run by somebody who’s in the game.

That’s why I think this interview will be very widely noticed

Dover MP Natalie Elphicke told the Commons that the BBC’s “shocking report” contained the “breath-taking” disclosure of free French public bus services being used to ferry migrants from camps to Dunkirk beaches.
Today the BBC journalists Michael Keohan and Colin Campbell released a shocking report on the channel crossings. It showed people smugglers selling their wares brazenly in the migrant camps and many children living in unsafe and dangerous conditions, as well as—this is breathtaking—a free French public bus service that migrants can use to travel directly from the camps to the Dunkirk departure beaches. Will my right hon. Friend allow a statement on the issue of tackling the small boat crossings and the Government’s response in their work with France?
BBC WEB-SITE Watch #1 – ‘schoolchild howler’ by the BBC
https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/64719768 BBC too obsessed with Global Warming and Climate Change to know that Venice and its canals are tidal. Look at the map, BBC! Venice is on the coast.
It’s more complicated than just normal tides
Twitter “Some of Venice’s secondary canals have practically dried up lately due to a prolonged spell of low tides linked to a lingering high pressure weather system.”
Another says if it wasn’t SO COLD there would be MORE meltwater coming down the mountains into the bay
Newsround : “Venice canals run dry as Italy braces for drought The famous canals in the city of Venice in Italy are running dry due to lack of rain and snow over winter.
But only last year the BBC ran the SAME story
Feb 27, 2021
“Exceptionally low tides left some of Venice’s canals dry, beaching boats and gondolas” https://bbc.in/3uF2S8Y
Year before
SkyNews Jan 12, 2020 Just weeks after serious flooding caused widespread damage, the famous canals of Venice have been left almost completely dry due to exceptionally low tides.
he rising water washes up sewage and trash, which can offend the nose. However, the city has a quick response to this, and it’s usually cleaned up before becoming a significant problem. All in all, a trip to Venice won’t be ruined by rotten smells.
It wouldn’t surprise me if in a couple of weeks it has bad flooding.
No big rain yet
Forecast for Venice a touch at breakfast. and some on Friday night
I’ve been to Venice a couple of times. Once in late December when the tide was high and St Mark’s Square was flooded about two foot deep. Once in Spring when the tide was low and the water taxi we were in went aground.
There has been a large rise in ocean levels, about 120m in the last 150,000 years. We are seeing a continuation of the trend. There are also movements in the earth’s crust which raise and subside coastlines.
Stew, sure the lack of snow in the mountains has an effect (we are talking northern Italy here) but the Venice lagoon is tidal, there’s no two ways about it.
@Zephir There is a firm principle. The qualifications of the messenger don’t matter
It’s argument on evidence that’s counts
The small boy was not a qualified royal tailor, but his statement that the Emperor was naked was true.
Likewise we don’t have to have gender recognition qualifications to say what a woman is.
@Up2sbuff I never said it was not tidal
I said “It’s more complicated than just **normal** tides”
The world’s media not just BBC Newsround ran the story
They didn’t run the story last month ..cos the water was not as low at low tide last month or other months
but the recent conditions were rare
Of course the media are wrong to assert it was mostly Climate Change
Sat waiting in an airport yesterday and it had the BBC news on. Big groan from me – except they were broadcasting Putins speech. Then they had an expert on who pulled some bits of it apart, but basically said Putin was making some serious points and not to believe the propaganda in our media.
I was amazed they had him on in the first place. I bet they don’t book him again.
Then we got comment from the BBC reporter and it was that very propaganda the expert just told us not to believe – complete with statements like ‘Putins false claims that America are using Ukraine to fight Russia’ etc etc.
And then we got Biden whose sole contribution was ‘we are fighting for freedom and democracy’. It was simple propaganda for idiots comparable to what Geobbels might have said.
The whole thing left me feeling quite uneasy because we came across as much more like the Nazis than Russia.
Comrade mark Easton on form today . He suggests the excellent idea by the blue labour government to replace ‘interviews ‘ with ‘asylum seekers ‘ with a 21 page colouring in book ……could be ‘stressful’ to traumatised benefits parasites .
It seems 95% of ‘interviews ‘ resulted in an uptick for the benefits parasite so why bother interviewing at all ?
But – ladies and gentlemen – what we know is that ‘asylum charities ‘ will be drafting the colouring in books for their ‘clients ‘ achieving a 100% pass rate .
By any other measure – an amnesty – a free for all . There will be no need for hotels – just an open door policy . …..
One day this country will die – or change – there might even be a civil war as the population rapidly grows and changes …. Maybe 10 Years …
In a real world, these colouring books, (in fifty different languages, plus English), could be paid for from the money UK Inc. fritters away on foreign gifts, to despots, wasteful crooked foreign governments -on, and other hangers-on, but that’s a reality too far…
Fergodsakes, we give something like 50 mill to China, and some of this purportedly goes to altering ‘climate change’!
WHAAAAAT!
Some how the words like ‘P*****g’ and ‘Up’ and ‘Against’ and ‘Wall’ spring to mind…
The Tory Government’s new “Open Door Policy”?
You couldn’t Make it up.

Making the mistake of looking at the local news in my borough in londonistan I find that 8 days ago there was a ‘targeted ‘ machete attack in a pub which left 4 seriously injured and thar yesterday evening 3 stabbings took place about 200 yards from said pub .
The threshold for such carnage making the ‘national news ‘ seems to be getting higher and higher .
On the upside the permanently failing local hospital staff must be getting better at stab wounds – when they’re not on strike of course …..
bBC quotes “sparking armed clashes with Palestinian gunmen”
So it Israel’s fault – what a spin on words. These were already armed, what were they just keeping there weapons for a bit of fox shooting at the weekend 🙂
We always get told what Israel did first and how many inferred innocent Palestinians were killed.
The real reason they did it is mentioned in a quick one-liner somewhere later. It’s usually that the Palestinians did something which would qualify as a terrorist war-crime in other scenarios – but we don’t mention that.
I wonder if the Israelies disguised themselves as civilians then went to a busy street full of innocent, unarmed civilians (without any guns to shoot back) then tried to murder as many as possible with a knife until they were stopped. Just like the Palestinians do. But we don’t mention that at the BBC either.
The Blair haig axis is still being noticed after its outing on Today Wednesday . Briefly these 2 unaccountable has beens think ‘AI’ and all things digital is our way forward .
I guess a life time of being overpaid for screwing up leads to overt stupidity.. they jump beyond the real-time problems which vex us now – namely security – border – energy – food – social -religion – crime ( ha ha ) and dream of some future time when digital id cards solve all our problems – when data is king ….
The delusion is frightening . We live in a time of entitlement – of benefits – paid for by others – rising taxes and falling public standards – yet Blair / haig – WEF conference junkies -get airtime ‘ attention . If only the swamp could just die .
That article is amusing because it shows how extreme the BBC portray a ‘whistle-blower’ depending on whether the whistle is blowing for their Leftist agenda or not.
It’s quite incredible that they can make the accusations they have about Jan 06 but keep all the video showing what happened a secret.
The BBC are quick to put this right at the start of that article:
‘Leading Democrats said the release could expose security secrets and endanger Capitol Police officers.’
But they didn’t say how of course. That has got desperation written all over it.
Very wise of Tucker to keep it secret until they have studied it and can show the relevant parts before the far-left trolls (like the ‘fact-checkers’) can try to swamp the internet with their partisan rhetoric and dilute the story.
Mind you, the only evidence I’ve heard against ‘1,000 mules’ is that their data doesn’t prove those people who toured drop boxes actually went up close to them – and the BBC have totally ignored that.
Stand by for their usual tactic now of legal action against Fox to keep him silent.
‘The BBC has contacted Mr McCarthy’s office and Fox News for comment.’
I hope they got told to mind their own business : it has nothing whatsoever to do with the BBC.
I see it’s Deep State stenographer (two-jobber even) Mike Wendling who’s filed that piece….
The stench coming from the abuse of process wrt those incarcerated in a shit jail with “specially selected” jailers is epic…
It’s going to be interesting to see what Tucker’s people make of the footage. Given the delay in releasing the archive one has to be very suspicious that it’s been tampered with. I’d bet that a huge part of the task is comparing the official video with simultaneous phone footage.
The truth shown in the videos wouldn’t want to distract from the election theft would it ? If humanity exists in a few decades time – and freedom returns – they’ll look at this time for evidence of the power of the msm and the gullibility of voters .
Our Nick interviews a retired German Bishop who wholeheartedly supports withdrawing support for Ukraine. A ‘soft’ interview and no question like, ‘What do you think Putin will do in the knowledge that Ukraine no longer has European support?’ is levied.
I didn’t realise how many Putin/Communist sympathisers there are in Germany.
G
I’d turned off long before – but as for Germany – as shown by the haus Frau the Russians have people at the very highest level . They must dream of the return of the stazi and the kind of restrictions on freedom seen in one party states such as the UK . …
We can joke, but humanity really is hanging by a thread now.
Not from Putin but if a hardliner takes over in response to the USA succeeding in their ‘regime change’ objective (which the senile old cretin let slip).
Just doesn’t quite come off does it autocuers! Not a very good effort, but the opening line of the Brexit para says it all…
“Anecdotal evidence suggests the UK has been bearing the brunt of the shortages, but problems have also been reported in Ireland. “…
To most normal citizens, ‘anecdotal evidence’ is slang for ‘asked a bloke down the pub’! They all say something like it now – it’s the same as ‘sources say’ or the ‘BBC has learned’,etc.
I don’t think we are allowed to use KFC any more as it’s racist. Apparently it stereotypes black people who eat fried chicken today as black people who ate fried chicken in the past or something.
Funny thing is the association never even occurred to me before they protested that a KFC advert was racist because all the people eating it were black.
Once again they have implanted ‘racist thoughts’ where I had none previously. It’s how the Left are destroying society.
Mind you, that is ‘chicken feed’ (see what I did?) compared to the anti-white racist thoughts they are stuffing into all black people.
… and 90% of the comments are just spiteful, immature nonsense.
A lot like maxi’s if I think about it. Especially that one where he tried to discredit Churchill wearing a boiler suit for work by comparing him to the charlatan Zelensky (comedian by trade) wearing an olive drab T-shirt for all state visits.
He must have made a New Year’s Resolution not to come late onto a thread to pick holes in anyone’s posts as we didn’t hear from him in January .
But his flesh is weak and he can’t resist hiding in an old thread and February was as far as he could make it .
Just want to make sure you don’t forget you’re not on twitter here and are held accountable when you try to troll important topics which you don’t like.
I might expand it using what I have learned from the latest BBC tactic : nit-pick something insignificant just to make a ‘headline’ then use it as an excuse to re-run the full list of all your other trolling just to keep it current in peoples minds. I’ll start compiling a list.
Of course I’m not using billions of pounds of other peoples money to fund it – nor am I doing it for the sinister purposes of Leftist social engineering which has ultimately murdered millions thoughout history once they got the power to REALLY cancel people – but you get the idea.
I have a suggestion for all those who say they believe, with all these climate change measures the UK is having to do such as ulez, that it’s actually going to make a difference and save the world.
One thing they go on about is rising sea levels.
My suggestion for them is to go to the coast, Norfolk area is supposed to be at risk, with a bucket and start to empty the North Sea.
This will make about the same difference as all the money making schemes being set up to save the planet and it makes about as much sense.
So then lefties, get down to the seaside with your bucket and save the Solar System and then The Universe.
You know it makes sense.
Tomorrow is – apparently – the anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine . The bbc loves anniversary – it’s a kind of porn – so we can expect all sorts of celebrities to ‘present ‘ from a 5 Star hotel in Kiev .
Will there be triumphalism in the air ? Personally I think we are in a worrying collective delusion about how close to direct war we are – probably caused by accident / misunderstanding / as well as malice of course .
Anyway – brace yourself for celebs such as sir Lenny – Idris – that coloured footy girl – naga – meesh – to present from the Front Line ( all broadcasting under the control of the Ukrainians of course ) .
Did you notice that before the war started, every picture had a woman pretending to be practising to fight and they all vanished the day after to be replaced by men with beards ?.
I do miss them : they were classic BBC agenda-based, totally fake news. It was clear to anyone with experience that they had never even held a weapon before.
Shamless liars. Now those men are being slaughtered by the hundred, the BBC scum don’t care one bit.
Brilliant.
Our useless government are to introduce a 10 page form for asylum seekers to fill in in order to fast track the system.
How long do you think it will take for Care4Calais, the Refugee Council, and other Leftoid woke institutions and supporters to produce rentaform services, giving the best forms of answers to the questions? Then a few weeks later there will be a few test court cases out of which will come approved ‘best practice’.
And after that, with court-proved best answers, hey presto, 97% of asylum seekers will fill in the forms in the ‘correct’ way, have ‘justified claims’ via prior art and can stay indefinitely at our expense.
Sounds like the Home Office is working to its usual standard of ‘not fit for purpose’.
I have experience of form filling for benefits . My mum was entitled to carers allowance . I filled out the form – submitted it – it got bounced although I knew she exceeded the criterior easily .
So I contacted a dementia charity – they said it’s common – but sent me to council websites which provide the right words to pass the DWP tick test . Second submission sailed through .
I thought it was just corrupt and dirty and wrong ….. but the open border form being bought in by this increasingly lousy blue labour government just shows how low our country is going .
Damn Them .
Forever chemicals concoction in equal parts ridiculous and amazing edition
The Daily Express – which flies a foreign flag at its masthead – enjoys a surprise boost to number one, numero uno, in the BBC’s online press line-up this morning.
One imagines Led Zeppelin’s Whole Lotta Love, theme tune to the BBC’s former Top of the Pops, pounding away in the background.
Nur-nur, nur-nur… nur… nur-nur, nur-nur…
So what sends the Tory lackey the Express up the BBC charts with a bullet – aside from an unflinching loyalty to the blue and yellow proxy war?
It’s somewhat of a mystery as, perhaps, Tony Hancock might have put it, would make even Maigert drop his pipe.
There’s a photo of posh thinking man’s (of a certain advanced age) crumpet Joanna Lumley on the frontpage but surely she doesn’t quite cut it at the BBC in these times of advanced diversity. Despite: Joanna’s far from fab royal encounter see page 15
More to BBC taste is a pic of dead-eyed: ‘Isis terror bride’ Begum banned from returning to Britain – a minor set back for Mr Asl’s wager that she will return… eventually.
REMINDER: Keir Starmer doesn’t think Shamima Begum should have been stripped of her citizenship and wants her brought back to Britain (CCHQ Twitter) – and if Starmer by some fluke doesn’t win the next election then the ECHR whose judgements Tony Blair made superior to UK law will surely bring her back.
I don’t know why she doesn’t save us taxpayers all the legal fees and simply hop on a rubber dinghy and come back via Dover beach?
And so we come at last to the reason we posit the Express makes number one slot in the BBC online review of our newspaper frontpages: Rishi launches crackdown on asylum seeker backlog – that’s one heck of a pro-Rishi spin right there.
The Mail isn’t quite so enamoured with the former office boy from Goldman Sachs: ‘Amnesty’ row over fast-track for asylum seekers
Let’s just recap on how the system works. You arrive as an illegal immigrant – ie you dodged the normal border formalities – passports, visas, waiting at the luggage carosel, paying for the over-priced taxi from the airport – all that normal people rigmarole – but you want to stay in Britain nonetheless. So you say those magic legendary Middle Eastern words Open Sesame… sorry, I meant to say I Claim Asylum
And now of course Rishi Sunak has revealled his cunning plan to clear the huge backlog of those waiting to have their asylum claims waived through… by having civil servants fast track acquiescence – like they were going to anyway – but all done in double quick time.
Locals may have to wait – officially – 10 weeks for a passport: In summer 2022 tens of thousands of Brits ended up waiting [more] than 10 weeks for a passport in Britain’s “miserable” backlog (Mirror)
And pay for the privilege: As of February 2, the cost of applying for a new British passport online rose from £75.50 to £82.50 for adults and from £49 to £53.50 for children. (Belfast Telegraph)
The Times is pretty liberal these days putting out regular puff pieces for Starmer so perhaps that’s why it can’t quite bring itself to report this one with all the Tory spin: Asylum plan will admit thousands without interview checks
The coronaphobic ‘i’ newspaper which lionised our selfless NHS heroes now reckons they aren’t militant enough: Nursing union accused of ‘taking King’s farthing’ as strikers split – this quote bite from: One bitter union official – is an archaic jumble sale find of a quote worthy of BoJo himself. Surely the line is the King’s shilling?
The Greenies are at it again busy coining new terms for the same millenarian doomsday cult’s ever-growing lexicon of stuff: Alarm over rising tide of toxic ‘forever chemicals’ (Guardian)
Culture Corner
Mr AsI subscribes to the notion that our culture got stuck somewhere in the past few decades and he cites the litany of endless fan-chise relaunches, reboots, sequels and reimaginings as evidence.
Hence MrAsI’s regular somewhat lighhearted resort to his myriad of outdated cultural and entertainment references hereabouts.
They do say there’s nothing new under the sun – but these days we seem to take that notion to extremes.
What once upon a time stuff that was regarded as counter-culture is now museumised as mainstream staple.
Golden years… Bowie archive donated to V&A to inspire new generation (Guardian)

One has to say the artistic aesthete that was Bowie carried it off rather better than the tubby ponce that is our 2023 imitation.
Correction – before I get fact-checked – it was Peter Sellers, not Tony Hancock, who quipped about a mystery so obstruce it would make Maigret drop his pipe.
This might explain, if not excuse, why Surkeer is on the BBC twice as often to ‘say’ stuff…
Keir Starmer tells BBC the ruling on Shamima Begum, which kept the decision to strip her of citizenship, is “right… national security has to come first.”
Former DPP says court looked at the evidence.
Tho as CCHQ point out, his emphasis was somewhat different a few years ago https://t.co/9UmWFDqeRf
‘At the time of the original statement, Surkeer did not think there was any possibility of him ever achieving high office and he was, therefore, free to speak his mind. However, given the implosion of the Conservative Party, plus certain commitments made to him at Davos last month, he is now confident of becoming WEF Gauliteer Prime Minister of the United Kingdom following the next General Election. He has therefore decided to make statements which will appeal to the electorate, even if he does not believe them or have any intention of sticking to any commitments he makes. I hope this clears up any misunderstanding.’
The guy is a disaster in waiting. I know the tories are crap but if someone who cannot define a woman or have any coherent policies
gets into power this country is really fucked.

TOADY Watch #1 – has Sir Keir Starmer just lost Labour the next Election?
Amol Rajan, presenting in London while Comrade Robinson creates CO2 emissions travelling around Europe so you don’t have to, gets to interview the Leader of the Labour Party, for now, who has just launched his Five Pledges or Five Promises or – I’ve got it now – Five Missions for his Party when they win, if they win, the next election. For some strange reason, the Editors do not schedule enough time for Amol to do his HarshMistress Mishal impression although he does get to talk over the Sucker-in-Charge-of-Labour quite a lot.
I am left with a two thoughts: it seems an awful lot of empty words that could be chiselled onto an ‘Ed’stone, and if and when Labour win, and when the first promise of five or first pledge of five is not delivered – sorry, first Mission of the Five, (I’ve got it now!) we will just get excuses from the Sucker in charge of a Labour Government.
The other thought I had (Ha ha! You weren’t expecting the Spanish Inquisition) I’ve had three thoughts about the Starmer-inspired Five Missions, where is that policy or pledge or promise to reform the House of Lords? Amol could have asked about that but did not.
My personal dealings with Reform are not good. Some, I’ve explained previously here. From my perspective, it is a shambles and that would not bode well for many giving them power.
Up2
I don’t think much matters . Conservatives won’t vote for blue labour any more – because there’s no entertainment from nut nut – and they’ll ( we ll ) stay at home . The red labour lot will win by default . The biggest worry is the size of the majority – which will encourage the far left into those mad far left things which always get them thrown out – unless the election rules are fiddled of course ….
Personally I’d restrict voting to the propertied class … and I. Not so sure about non men having the vote ….
Sky TV has an Ad claiming it received the lowest number of Complaints for a Broadcaster (its a radio Ad on LBC and Talk TV and probably TV as well).
But that made me wonder who has the Highest number for complaints…?
Sky does indeed come top in this OFCOM ‘pole’ of least complaints this year. Above ITV and Virgin. But the BBC is overall worse than the lots of them. Its ‘service’ is hardly on scale for comparison. Its only UK comparison would be the NHS. We know how well that runs.
Look among the very worst Broadcasting for satisfaction (UK) and not surprisingly you will find the BBC – as the worst ‘performer’ going back more than forty plus years…
The BBC is worst performer by a long chalk, every year, as it is indifferent to ANY complaints which it ‘brushes-off’ as an informed ‘one off’ comment. We only see the tip of the problem inn the press.
The BBC ALSO has a nice little insider ‘DEAL’ with OFCOM that it makes it even worse. You see (OFCOM) will only ‘acknowledge’ a BBC compliant – IF and WHEN the BBC has already ‘refused’ the complaint with some fudge. Due to the high number of BBC complaints they receive.
* * The BBC dismisses ALL complaints under its ‘right-of’ (UK) BBC Broadcasting TV and radio Charter – which it is often in clear breach of and can ignore many if not all such complaints of bias. It never admits to any bias. Even though its evident on everything produced and broadcast.
Its a fact that OFCOM has to receive more than one complaint to act. Even then it will send you back to the BBC for a reply. If the BBC replies (it has a big complaints dept) it will do nothing and fudge you off under ‘journalistic integrity, ‘opinion’ protected under parliament etc.
And the BBC is almost entirely ‘exempt’ in its own words. If you ever receive a reply to a compliant, they will refer you to the BBC Charter. So they are ‘exempt’. All of them!
Defund the BBC is the only option to reform the biased and perverse corporation.
Only subscription will make it accountable. That will mean a large number of lay offs and redundancies as nobody would want to pay for such ‘opinions’ (which is what the BBC call it).
I now hear from the bbc that the Brixton O2 crush last year is now the fault of the company supplying security and medical cover. Nothing about the crowds trying to get in for free or any mention of which part of society they come from.
Defund the bbc now
Old Ken Livingstone was on GB News this morning again. ULEZ was discussed and Ken was challenged on his support for ULEZ. Ken commented that some astronomically high number of people had died due to air pollution in London, I think he said 37,000. What about tradespeople needing vans? Oh! It’s the right thing to do.
Too much Government? No, we need more Government it creates wealth and so on.
Zero evidence that large numbers of people have died due to air pollution in London, although I hear that knife pollution is a major killer in some boroughs. Research from University College London suggests that ULEZ has resulted in only ‘marginal improvements to air quality’:
I haven’t seen the interview with Red Ken so I don’t know the time period which he is referencing. The Great Smog of London 1952 is estimated to have killed at least 4,000 people. It is conceivable that perhaps 37,000 died during the period 1900-1975 or so, although this is not directly related to road traffic.
DM headline: “Thank heavens Shamima Begum’s slick PR blitz – aided by the BBC – has failed to win her the right to return to Britain…”
Indeed. The terrorist bint was given a huge amount of sympathetic airtime on the treasonous BBC’s podcast series.
The last one was titled: “I’m Not a Monster”.
Oh yes you are, Shamima, oh yes you are.
BBC death wish. I remember when the BBC were busy plugging The notorious Tavistock clinic (which has since been closed) was recommended by the BBC to its own staff seeking a pay rise (or recruitment to a BBC Presenter on Blue Peter). Well it turns out that the BBC were help funding ‘sex-change’ operations – for its (odd) BBC staff. Treatments that we now learn are both dangerous and life changing (as in early death). And even worse when the BBC staffer finally gets his.her.it dream job abusing children at the BBC (Jimmy Saville was not the only child molester), we find that your life chances are slim.
A report today in the DT (link below) confirms that those taking such drugs, NOT only have mental issues, but ‘Trans people taking hormone drugs ‘seven times more likely to have a stroke’ . This is on top of other medical problems associated with The NHS ‘advice’ given at the time. (i.e. none at all).
The progressive BBC will now quietly drop the program. But those who took part in the Tavistock experiment will seek compensation – as it was paid for by the BBC. So a large financial legal claim can be expected by those staff that took up the BBC ‘offer’, which as we all knew was dangerous and could never work. Just ask Ms Sturgeon (at the SNP) what went wrong with her end game experiment..
We are being told that 85% of the people from the Countries that they are fast tracking the channel crossing immigrants from get passed to stay in the UK.
This is for the 12,000 who will be filling a form in so that they, (and then their extended families), will all be able to stay here.
That’s the first 12,000, you can bet it will become the normal procedure once they see they can get away with it.
On talk tv today the truth came out.
Only 8% are passed as true asylum seekers.
The other 77% could not be confirmed and because of this uncertainty we’re allowed to stay.
So then, each time you hear that 85% get to stay it’s not 85% pass the immigration tests, it’s 8%.
This is another example of the government misleading the public with lies and half truths, one of many, in fact one of everything they tell us as it’s all lies.
*Just heard on GB News that it’s 95% get in as opposed to the 85% I thought it was although the 8% is still the true figure (which hasn’t been mentioned on GB News yet or if it has I haven’t heard it)

… … …”

From the Mirror online:
I doubt we will be told the whole truth, especially if it is the usual suspects (which it may not be, of course).

so why mention one and not the other ?

We should never play them at their game…

I’m trying to find a parallel to the madness . Is it the hippy period during the 60s? I suppose part of the cause is social media where any view can be treated as sensible – apart frin unapproved one’s of course .
Once the law gets muddled by men in ladies changing rooms claiming to be women you know the plot really is lost – together with words or actions which hypothetically ‘offend ‘ and the mess is made worse – offending someone becomes a criminal act …

https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/64719768 BBC too obsessed with Global Warming and Climate Change to know that Venice and its canals are tidal.

Newsround : “Venice canals run dry as Italy braces for drought
The famous canals in the city of Venice in Italy are running dry due to lack of rain and snow over winter.
But only last year the BBC ran the SAME story
Feb 27, 2021
“Exceptionally low tides left some of Venice’s canals dry, beaching boats and gondolas”

Year before
SkyNews Jan 12, 2020
Just weeks after serious flooding caused widespread damage, the famous canals of Venice have been left almost completely dry due to exceptionally low tides.

he rising water washes up sewage and trash, which can offend the nose.

Sun 26 6°/3° Light Rain / Wind
Mon 27 7°/3° Showers
Tue 28 9°/4° Light Rain
Wed 01 11°/4° Showers

WHAAAAAT!

Eleven Palestinians killed during Israeli raid in Nablus
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-64732006
bBC quotes “sparking armed clashes with Palestinian gunmen”

Uproar as Fox host Tucker Carlson gets Capitol riot videos
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-64670742
oww no the self righteous bBC is aware of Tucker, where will this end
20 likes

The Gruan features frontpage a photo of the starman in an innovative (for the time) peculiar outfit – remarkably akin to: Best dressed at the Brit Awards 2023… Sam Smith turned up in an inflated latex suit… puffed up and pouting in their* latex inflatable suit, made by Kerala-born designer Harri, with vast protruding leg and shoulder elements, looking equal parts ridiculous and amazing (Evening Standard) (*pronoun)
One has to say the artistic aesthete that was Bowie carried it off rather better than the tubby ponce that is our 2023 imitation.

I don’t think much matters . Conservatives won’t vote for blue labour any more – because there’s no entertainment from nut nut – and they’ll ( we ll ) stay at home . The red labour lot will win by default . Personally I’d restrict voting to the propertied class … and I. Not so sure about non men having the vote ….

Sky TV has an Ad claiming it received the lowest number of Complaints for a Broadcaster (its a radio Ad on LBC and Talk TV and probably TV as well).
But that made me wonder who has the Highest number for complaints…?
https://www.ofcom.org.uk/news-centre/2023/q3-2022-telecoms-and-pay-tv-complaints.
We only see the tip of the problem inn the press.
https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1460841/BBC-news-bias-complaints-defund-the-bbc-ofcom-emily-maitlis

Ken is a genuine deluded left wing loon.

Aardman animation teaches UK school kids about child refugees

bBC is favourable, but we know it likes to manipulate kids. Start early and they will toe the line in the future
“educate” students on refugees – apparently

DM headline: “Thank heavens Shamima Begum’s slick PR blitz – aided by the BBC – has failed to win her the right to return to Britain…”
Indeed. The terrorist bint was given a huge amount of sympathetic airtime on the treasonous BBC’s podcast series.
The last one was titled: “I’m Not a Monster”.
Oh yes you are, Shamima, oh yes you are.
One more reason the BBC should be abolished, NOW!

Don’t forget, their families will shortly be on their way also.
Is this what “Build back better” was all about?
