Off topic, except for it’s not made by the BBC as it’s a fairly fair and unbiased documentary, I watched Netflix’s MH370 documentary last night. Three interesting theories, especially the last, involving the USA and the FBI. Who could ever imagine that they’d be involved though…a bit far fetched?🙄

The Taoiseach, on a rooftop just across a lawn from the US Capitol, joked about the fact that he interned in the last year of the Clinton presidency “when parents might have had cause for concern about what happened to interns” in the city. Varadkar made the comment just two hours after meeting Hillary, and after he had confirmed the Clintons would visit Northern Ireland next month to mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement, which Bill Clinton was pivotal in securing. The Irish press has gone to town on the clanger.

The Vision of the Anointed (1995) is a book by economist and political columnist Thomas Sowell which brands the anointed as promoters of a worldview concocted out of fantasy impervious to any real-world considerations.[1] Sowell asserts that these thinkers, writers, and activists continue to be revered even in the face of evidence disproving their positions.

The BBC has lost its place as the national broadcaster’

Exclusive poll finds 91pc of over 10,000 Telegraph readers back abolishing levy, with many claiming it is ‘regressive and out of date’

‘The BBC has lost its place as the national broadcaster’

In light of the news on Friday that the licence fee could rise by £13 next year, the backlash intensified further.

In the wake of the row, an exclusive poll by The Telegraph has found that 91 per cent of over 10,000 readers agree that the BBC should scrap its mandatory licence fee, which is currently set at £159 a year.

All in all it sounds as if Gary Lineker has put in for a BBC pay rise (and will surely get it). Hopefully his BBC Sports comrades will ensure they all get “less” and a redundancy notice. Cringe as they get a shared SMUG reflection that they have ‘saved’ the planet (again). Move over Greta!

OfI know we’ve done Lineker to death this week but he’s still in post thumbing his nose at the BBC management and the licence paying public.

My guess is that the vast majority of the public knew little or nothing of Lineker’s previous infractions. This debacle will have drawn a lot of attention from those that didn’t know the gobshite pleased himself with his vacuous anti government posts and didn’t know he earned so much for reading out hackneyed rubbish on MOTD. All is clear now, that and the fact he opposes the Government taking control of immigration, something the vast majority of the public, and indeed football fans, support.
I’ll be very interested in the MOTD viewing figures. Apart from Leicester fans I don’t see much support from most football fans.

There is an interesting bias in MOTD to top of the table teams. Apart from top of the table teams certain teams feature heavily almost regardless of position in the table. You know what teams I mean. I think this has a lot to do with the heavy commercial interests involved in the Premier League. There is a lot of understatement when it comes to the football authorities. The MOTD team keep criticism of the Premier League, the FA etc to a minimum for obvious reasons.

    Covid Vaccines news

I’ve had Covid this week to add to my fractured rib misery. I’m not vaccinated, silly me, some might say. However my wife got Covid some days earlier as did an elderly person, both vaccinated. Being elderly and suffering from co-morbities, and under constant medical care she has had a full program of vaccines.

Not only was Covid picked up by them but was passed onto me. Vaccines don’t look too useful do they?

The ICC have indicted Putin with War Crimes so must be feeling pretty chuffed along with Zelensky who has probably been the prime mover in this action.

Of course the ICC has no jurisdiction in Russia so it’s a symbolic gesture and in my opinion will probably cost thousands (who know maybe millions) more lives than otherwise as Putin can only respond with much more brute force now as he has nothing to lose and must win at any cost.

Probably the first time such a move has been made while a conflict is still going on. Hence has a hint of desperation and wishful thinking about it.

Keep poking that bear but bear in mind he might just drop a million mega ton nuclear warhead on The Hague out of the blue in response.

The BBC is proud to announce that the police are to crack down on racism, sexism and homophopbia in their own ranks.

Oh dear. While there is indeed a problem in the police, namely that they spend too much time virtue signalling about woke causes instead of catching crims, street gangs and child groomers among certain communities, I fear we can now expect even more diversity training, CRT, lgbtq rainbow coloured squad cars and painted fingernails.
