FAO Culture Secretary Ms L. Frazer ,

If the Culture sec or her spads are looking in we would wish to remind you of previous requests that the bBC produces a consolidated plan to reform its charging mechanism to a that of a subscription model.

Mr Davie was set to be charged with the delivery of this plan without further obfuscation.

There has been no sight of this plan nor indeed, Ms Dorries or Mr Tim Davie .

You could say there have been more recent sightings of Mr E. Presley.

    to misquote Mr R.Burns

“As the fleet approaches the Suez Canal, Egyptian military forces fire a warning shot, causing the fleet to steer south, around the Cape of Good Hope. To the surprise of observers, the apartheid regime of South Africa floats out barges of food and supplies, which the migrants throw overboard. The international press is thrilled, believing the rejection of these supplies to be a political statement against the apartheid South African regime. Western leaders, confident the migrants will accept supplies from their “more virtuous” nations, organize a supply mission, funded by governments, charities, rock stars and major churches, to meet the migrants off São Tomé. However, the fleet does not stop for these barges either, and when a worker from the Pope’s barge attempts to board one of the ships, he is strangled and thrown overboard. The press attempts to contain coverage of the murder.”

At 0818 this morning, andysnape posted that the BBC were featuring as their first story that the MetPolice were grovelling at the feet of the anti-monarchy protesters that they might have wrongly arrested on Coronation day.

I’ve just watched the 6 pm BBC news and it is STILL the first story !!! FFS.

What is it with the BBC? The experience of these Marxist- anarchists, no doubt on holiday from Extinction Rebellion, Animal Rebellion, Just Stop Oil etc etc etc, is of no interest whatever to almost all viewers.

Yet the BBC are still banging on about it. And it’s even on BBC London News.

Another proof that BBC news editors live in a parallel universe to the rest of us. They are the pits.

      Good morning Sluff

The more and more I read and see on the internet I find the likes of the bbc a joke, they lecture and talk from a moral platform that they are always right (or should be that left, is the only way)

The ex British broadcaster was what I watched as a kid, and felt then it had values etc, now I couldn’t careless if the government of the days mouthpiece just closed down

Remember as a kid, all the classic/great comedies this organisation produced, Only Fools & Horses, Two Ronnies, Porridge and so on, now its just spineless and has programmes like Have I Got News For You… thats had its day and is just there for promotting leftist “news”

    Hahahaha.
The London Tube creates loads of dust. The trains brake and they give off particles from the track and rails. Particles of iron oxide and also chrome and quartz. Teams of cleaners work overnight but can only cover 40% of the network in a year.In an enclosed space such as the Tube it all sounds pretty dangerous, for workers and the public.
So surely in the interests of safety Sad Dick Khan should introduce a ULEZ zone for dangerous polluting tube trains giving off particulates. Or better still, close down the tube network.

After all , ‘safety is our number one priority’, as owners of older vehicles in London know only too well.

Or maybe the ULEZ zone has nothing to do with pollution and everything to do with revenue-raising to infill the covid and post-covid black hole in the TfL finances.,

Net immigration into Blighty this year is estimated to be a record busting 675,000. It’s not only out of control, it’s out of this world…

Before Blair came to power in May 1997, we had (roughly) a sustainable net immigration per annum, of between 30-40,000. It was doable. Just…

But the figures we are seeing now are horrendous…and remember…these are the (so called) “legal” migrants we get.

Just think, in 2023 we’ll have more foreigners entering our country by dhingy than ever came legally prior to 1997.

Our corrupt politicians have systematically set out to destroy our country. Parts of England that I was familiar with as a boy no longer exist.

    I feel like weeping…

When I wrote a piece elsewhere about the Tory failure had more to do with their complete inability to deliver on their manifesto promises, and that IDS was a completely out of touch idiot to suggest it was down to a lack of housebuilding one commenter told me I had a lot to learn.

It didn’t take long for the pile on off other commenters supporting me and calling the other a complete idiot.

Because we don’t live in a democratic country we cannot force those in power to do what the people want, nor what they promised the people they would do, there is little short of a revolution we can do but vote come the next election.

As I type this Biden is meeting other US senior people to find a way out of the debt ceiling crisis he has created. At the present time he is still saying he will not compromise and he expects congress to left the debt ceiling completely and to allow him to unconditionally squander to his hearts content.

They have a figure in mind of how much they are going to allow and what spending programs they want to see cut.

But this time it’s different, and it’s the Democrats own fault for the Republicans having such a slim majority, because if just one congressman disagrees they can force a re-run of the election for speaker process and as you might expect there is at least one who thinks the current proposals go too far.

The world is de-dollarising mainly because of Bidens spectacularly inept and criminal government (none of it reported by the BBC) and a default would only make this happen faster.
It will also push the USA into a deep recession if not a depression which will last many years and affect us even more here in the UK.

Given the inept talentless people we like as political leaders because we won’t pay for the good ones we will suffer even worse than many other countries, and personally I don’t see how the EU would survive if this did happen, nor the Euro either.

The CIA was actively involved in getting signatures for the letter from 51 intelligence officials discrediting Hunter Biden’s laptop as disinformation, according to bombshell Republican report set to be released Wednesday.

The House Judiciary Committee is set to unveil a report titled: The Hunter Biden Statement: How Senior Intelligence Community Officials and the Biden Campaign Worked to Mislead American Voters. It alleges that the letter ‘was a political operation to help elect’ Joe Biden in November 2022.

It alleges that a CIA employee ‘may have helped in the effort to solicit signatures for the statement’ and accuses former Deputy CIA director and Acting CIA Director Mike Morell and the Biden campaign of conspiring to quickly get the letter approved.

“University union boss agrees to pay libel damages to firefighter over tweets falsely portraying him as ‘a misogynist, pervert and liar’ after he asked a group of women on a train to stop swearing in front of his children

Paul Embery launched libel claim against Dr Jo Grady, general secretary of UCU.

Mr Embery, who was travelling on a train from London to Norwich with his children, publicly called out a group of women for alleged anti-social behaviour, which he claims involved drunken threats and the use of ‘sexually explicit profanities’.

‘One woman in particular was repeatedly using sexually explicit profanities.

‘Mr Embery considered it unacceptable that passengers, including his own children, should be subjected to this behaviour, so eventually he intervened and politely asked the women to refrain from swearing.’

His request was met with ‘hostility and abuse’ and, despite a train guard intervening, their ‘loutish’ behaviour continued, which included Mr Embery being warned he would be ‘knocked out’ and being threatened with a beer bottle, the court heard.

Mr Embery filmed the group on his phone, and tweeted a photo of them to train operator Greater Anglia in the hope it would ‘take action’ against the women.

Over the next two days, Dr Grady published tweets, with one saying: ‘Grow up Paul and take a day off bullying women and pretending to be outraged for clicks. It’s pathetic at any age, but especially yours.’

She also tweeted: ‘It’s creepy to record young women on the train, share that video, and lie about them on social media for clout.'”
