Next question should have been. “How are you going to fit 300 people on your sofa?”. Maybe the analogy would help to understand the scale of problem the UK, as a whole, faces.

Another option … Germany Offers Money for Migrants Who Go Back Home

      https://www.voanews.com/a/germany-offer-money-for-migrants-who-go-back-home/4147256.html

      BERLIN —
Germany wants to support rejected asylum-seekers who voluntarily move back to their home countries with a one-time payment of 3,000 euros ($3,570).

The Interior Ministry says those who qualify can apply by a Feb. 28 deadline and they would get the money once they return home.

Migrants who agree to go back even before their asylum request is rejected have already been offered 1,200 euros per adult and 600 euros per child under a different program for almost a year. They are now eligible to apply for both programs.

I’m sure a favourite of overpaid BBC staff is a shop called John Lewis . Although there is both a Waitrose and John Lewis near me I am too tight to overpay for their stuff… anyway – they had the 6 monthly ‘partners ‘ meeting today and voted a no confidence in the head – one Sharon white and her sidekick nish someone ….. not quite sure where their people come from – but it seems not John Lewis .

Maybe she’ll go full woke and rename it Joan Lewis – one letter means so much ….( I claim a ©️)

Only conclusion to increasing lack of essential infrastructure? Whether it be housing, water, NHS etc:

All planned in the move to mentally and physically impoverish the population.

The only alternative? Total and absolute political negligence, lack of any foresight from people not worthy of any command. All, needless of persuasion should resign. The country needs a fresh start.

I know which I would choose.

Who is guilty? Yes, you have answered or guessed correctly: the Civil Servants or The Blob as they are now known. “Prime Minister and Chancellor, that would be require a very great expenditure; simply unknown in peacetime. We could not possibly undertake that sort of expenditure on infrastructure as it would saddle our young with the future debts and taxes. It is quite unthinkable in view of an ageing and shrinking population.” Chancellor: “Ageing and shrinking population – where do you get that from, Permanent Secretary?” “It is from the surveys carried out by my colleagues at the Department of Work and Pensions, Chancellor and it also predicted by the Office for National Statistics.”

To my total lack of surprise, given they are a ‘partner’, all on the first page was BBc self-propaganda.

Basically it is a ‘tell it often enough’ attempt by the BBc to circle the global corrupt media wagons, especially in the USA, to rig everything whilst claiming the exact opposite.

One look at Wendy’s efforts, and those of CNN, and anything ending in ‘C’ is enough to illustrate.

Dante’s Divine Comedy ‘offensive and should be banned’
It is a world-renowned work of literature and one of the foundation stones of the Italian language, but Dante’s Divine Comedy has been condemned as racist, homophobic, anti-Islamist and anti-Semitic.

The classic work should be removed from school curricula, according to Gherush 92, a human rights organisation which acts as a consultant to UN bodies on racism and discrimination.

Dante’s epic is “offensive and discriminatory” and has no place in a modern classroom, said Valentina Sereni, the group’s president.

Divided into three parts – Hell, Purgatory and Heaven – the poem consists of 100 cantos, of which half a dozen were marked out for particular criticism by the group.

It represents Islam as a heresy and Mohammed as a schismatic and refers to Jews as greedy, scheming moneylenders and traitors, Miss Sereni told the Adnkronos news agency.”The Prophet Mohammed was subjected to a horrific punishment – his body was split from end to end so that his entrails dangled out, an image that offends Islamic culture,” she said.

From a Theresa May speech …

As Martin Wolf, the chief economics commentator of the financial times, says: ‘The desirability of sizeable immigration is a matter more of values than of economics. It is not a choice between wealth and poverty, but of the sort of country one desires to inhabit.’

    https://www.gov.uk/government/speeches/home-secretary-speech-on-an-immigration-system-that-works-in-the-national-interest

    …………………………..

1978 … “Every country can take some small minorities and in many ways they add to the richness and variety of this country. The moment the minority threatens to become a big one, people get frightened.” – Margaret Thatcher 1978

2012 … “Two and a half years ago, the coalition government was formed, and we made a clear promise to the British public. After thirteen years of uncontrolled mass immigration, this government would reduce and control immigration.” – Theresa May 2012

2015 … “Because when immigration is too high (no figure given), when the pace of change is too fast, it’s impossible to build a cohesive society.” – Theresa May 2015

There seems to be some parallels between what’s happening to Imran Khan in India and Donald Trump in the US.

In other words if opposition to the left wing gets too hot… just raise accusations and court cases and use the forces of law to hobble the accused.

This is a now a global thing and is very sinister.

Sooner or later we will reach a point where all good men will need to rise up and fight it with blood. It is inevitable that this will be the result. It is now a global thing and will eventually call all people to their conscience.

The left wing now believe they can use what they call justice to smash any opposition. It is the opposite of democracy in fact it is totalitarianism or Marxism designed to protect their own.

What’s going on with Trump is simply off the scale.

It’s a level of political persecution I would not believe if I was not witnessing it in real time. And the KEY point of it is that the mainstream media are now so left-wing, they turn a blind eye and pretend each accusation is just on it’s own merits.

This ‘adult survivors law’ Trump was prosecuted is astounding – but not nearly as astounding as the lack of questions about it. It’s for one year only !. What kind of law is that ?. And it just happens to be at the right time to get Trump accused of rape in court before the next election ???.

Sinister is the word. What the Left are doing to get Trump is outrageous – but what is sinister is how they are getting away with it because the MSM like the BBC are fully behind them.

John C, I suspect Bojo was informed by David Frost (Life Peer responsible for Brexit negotiations with the EU) that when Bojo got impatient over deadlines in 2019 “PM, all you need to do is repeal the 1972 Act of Succession. That will wipe out all EU legislation and free the UK from the EU. You have an 80 seat majority in Parliament.”

The PM will have replied “Aaah, umhhh, I will need to think about that and consult more widely with colleagues in the Party and the Cabinet Secretary.” Next we hear, is that Bojo has bodged Brexit.

‘Our two greatest universities are no longer seats of learning but of indoctrination and woke fanaticism’: As Oxford University students AGAIN make a mockery of free speech, a recent Cambridge graduate despairs”

For 200 years, the Oxford Union has played host to prime ministers and presidents, pop stars, prodigies and polymaths. Once, it was a matter of honour that this august debating society invited speakers to challenge the comfortable views of cosseted students.

    But times have changed.

A visit to the chamber by academic Kathleen Stock has prompted an outpouring of distress, with the Union forced to offer ‘welfare resources’ to help the little darlings cope.

What monstrous opinions does Stock hold? She has ‘gender-critical views’ — she questions the typically Left-wing orthodoxy that biological sex is not at all important, and what gender an individual feels they are is the only thing that really matters.

Because of these views, shared by millions, Stock was ‘cancelled’ and quit her professorship at Sussex University in 2021. Now she faces a fresh campaign from undergraduates determined to prevent her from speaking.”

The Kerala Story: Why an Indian film on Islamic State is so controversial
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-65481927

Here is the BBC at it’s finest. Defending the indefensible.

It’s a story none of the Left have gone near. Something approaching the truth about ISIS.

Right at the top we get:

‘The Kerala Story – set in the southern state of Kerala – has been criticised by many opposition politicians, with some calling it propaganda and an attempt to destroy religious harmony.’

    Then we have:

‘The film has got poor reviews from many mainstream critics who have lambasted its performances and “lack of nuance” – one wrote that the film’s “thoughts about Islam and [religious] conversion seem to have been sourced from hate-filled WhatsApp groups”.’

Surprise surprise : the article they refer to was written by Anuj Kumar who amazingly enough was educated at ‘Aligarh Muslim University.’

    Later we get:
‘Others, however, have accused it of demonising Muslims and peddling Islamophobia.’

So what the BBC are telling us is that the truth about Muslims should not be told because it ‘destroys religious harmony’, ‘demonises Muslims’ and ‘peddles Islamophobia’.

Which of course explains the entire BBC policy for Muslims. Don’t tell the truth because Muslims won’t like it.’

Put’s their wall slogan (which Jug ears Linkeker stood next to looking smug) “If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” firmly into perspective.

The BBC are the most astounding hypocrites.Their opinion on anything is worthless because everything is based on ideological agenda, not ethics and facts. It might be true, it might not. They don’t care.

Just listening to BBC world news here in Thailand and apparently Zelensky has said they aren’t ready for the counter offensive yet because they haven’t been sent enough equipment and people might not send them more if it’s a disaster. So everybody must send more.

    It will never be enough.

Not reported on UK BBC of course. They’ll just keep quiet as if nothing happened and there never was any offensive. Only good news allowed from Ukraine.

We seem to be fed this narrative that the Ukrainians will defeat the Russians by pushing them out of the country……

…. History has shown that Russians are tough cookies and therefore that idea isn’t going to happen – however much kit NATO sends . I’ve heard some idiots here talk about the need to put our economy / industry on a ‘war footing ‘… presumably they have shares in arms makers …..

How long will it run before there are ‘peace talks ‘ – working out how both sides can claim’ victory ‘ before another war in a respectable time gap ?

Yet we are served up queer euro pop crap with flag waving …. And not much else …

They have the story now and as expected it’s an open soap-box for Zelensky to say whatever he wants without any fear of being questioned about it. Seems like all the new tanks, missiles and aircraft they just got are still not enough.

I notice they didn’t open THIS one for comments lol.

I’m expect it will continue until the people of the USA start questioning why they are spending so much money on a war which they finally realise cannot be won. As someone said, victory in Ukraine is Ukraine in ruins.

It’s a bizarre war for me : when I see the fighting, I fully support the brave Ukranians who are taking a proper beating from Russia – but I am coming to utterly dislike and completely not trust anything from Zelensky and his government who are shameless liars in the style of North Korea. I’m getting to the point where I trust what Putin says more. It’s just so obvious they are puppets of the USA I wonder if anyone still believes they aren’t. I’m sure the BBC know full well – but they are very good and dressing up blatant lies with just enough ambiguity to make it not proveable.

One independent reporter I tune into on youtube says someone in Ukraine contacted him and told him they all live in fear now and dare not say anything about the war because people who question the narrative can just disappear. And of course the BBC won’t go near those reports until their own narrative changes. Then it would be fake shock and horror at the revelations.

The astute observer will also realise how the Turkish suicide drones and HIMARS missiles which would change the war are not mentioned now. That’s because the Russians have learned that their GPS is easily jammed making them useless.

Anyway, got to get back to digging the shelter.

Right : because Trumps top priority in government of a country split down the middle and edging towards civil war should be Ukraine.

We were told Trump would start WW3. Instead Biden has. And with the full support of that same media who accused Trump.

And once the USA under Biden come up with some kind of deal with Russia because they decide that Ukraine isn’t worth the vast, never ending cost, they will throw them straight under a bus without a care.

On 22 March 2020, 7-year-old Emily Grace Jones[1] was stabbed at Queen’s Park in Bolton, Greater Manchester, England, while riding her scooter and died shortly afterwards.[2][3] Eltiona Skana, a 30-year-old Albanian woman unknown to the Jones family, was arrested on the scene and later charged with murder.[4][5]

Skana pleaded guilty to the lesser included offence of manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility on 6 November 2020. After a trial at Minshull Street Crown Court from 26 November to 4 December, the charge of murder was withdrawn by the prosecution and the jury was directed to formally return a not guilty verdict for murder.[6] On 8 December, she was given a life sentence, with a minimum term of eight years, for the conviction of manslaughter.[7] On 26 January 2021, Skana’s minimum sentence was increased to 10 years and eight months, with the presiding judge stating the previous minimum sentence had been “calculated in error”.[8]

Nowadays, our arch-liberal Anglican boss Justin Welby provides our Hindu PM Rishi Sunak with a sparring partner for some improbable shadow boxing skirting around the issue of our present hyper-immigration surge.

Meanwhile PM in waiting Keir Starmer must be thanking his lucky red stars that he doesn’t have to upset the Red Wall by speaking up first in favour of keeping open our borders to all and sundry. Didn’t we once hear something from Labour about reforming the House of Lords? Surely that would involve expelling our comfy cadre of unelected bishops from parliament – oh how we’d like to hear you express sour grapes over those lefty socialist onions, Justin.

Well, that would be an ecumenical matter, Welby.

Ah, think of the children… a photographer’s lucky day, akin to snapping a Hawfinch or a Golden Pheasant in your back garden normally populated with fighting age common sparrows and blackbirds.

Of course that’s all for show.

With the economy now obviously stalling the corporate globalist pro-EU pro-open borders FT perhaps senses when they’ve had just a tad more than enough of a good thing: Sunak ready to curb students’ family visas as net flow grows… PM braced for record migration data… Dependents add to post-Covid surge… boosting the size of Britain’s workforce but the issue is politically problematic for the prime minister.

Ahmadis suffer vicious persecution around the world. The main source of fuel for that persecution is in Pakistan, but what happens in Pakistan does not stay in Pakistan.

I know that from my experience in the Yorkshire market town of Batley. In August 1985, when I was 11 years old, my parents organised an inter-faith meeting in the town hall. It was interrupted and disturbed when, according to West Yorkshire police,

more than 1,000 extremists, led by Pakistani hate preachers funded by the Pakistani state, were bused in from around the country.

The mob brutally attacked my English mother and my father, a dermatologist; my eldest brother and I; and a Welsh Ahmadi schoolteacher who was with us. My first cousin, a GP, was by chance driving through the market town that day. He saw the mob and saw his family and friends being attacked, so he stopped. He was recognised, pulled from his vehicle and savagely beaten up.

      https://theintercept.com/2017/05/31/the-numbers-dont-lie-white-far-right-terrorists-pose-a-clear-danger-to-us-all/

This story shows how to make data not seem as bad by grouping and looking for a story that fits your point of view. Please look at the data and decide yourself. I suggest you look at it and think of what trend you would determine, then read Mehdi Hasan interpretation.

      106 vs 119 killings

During the September 11 attacks in 2001, 2,996 people were killed and more than 6,000 others wounded, which is missing from the graph.

Yet the numbers don’t lie — even if the Islamophobes do. “Since September 12, 2001,” noted a recent report prepared for Congress by the Government Accountability Office, “the number of fatalities caused by domestic violent extremists has ranged from 1 to 49 in a given year. … Fatalities resulting from attacks by far-right wing violent extremists have exceeded those caused by radical Islamist violent extremists in 10 of the 15 years, and were the same in 3 of the years since September 12, 2001.” Imagine that.

        He writes:

‘The report continues: “Of the 85 violent extremist incidents that resulted in death since September 12, 2001, far-right wing violent extremist groups were responsible for 62 (73 percent) while radical Islamist violent extremists were responsible for 23 (27 percent).” That’s a margin of almost three to one.’

What that steaming left-wing hypocrite totally fails to mention is that the Muslim population of the USA is only 1.1%. So 27 percent are by 1.1% of the people.

And all of those attacks are utterly irrelevant when compared to how many people are shot dead by black people on the street.

It’s the kind of Lefty scumbag lies by omission we used to see from maxi before he lost the plot completely and went to live with his transsexual cat in a cave.

Sure, they sell for something more but it does tell you how divided the country is.

      2017 …

      “Consider this, I give this example. If immigration continues at the levels it has average over the last ten years. Britain will be adding 10 million people to it’s population in the next 20 years. That means building a new house roughly every seven minutes. Now, we currently have no leadership from the Liberal Democrats, Conservative or Labour Parties saying they are going to do anything to change that course. @5:56 … if any party wishing to get into power doesn’t address this they are committing political suicide….@10:30″ {youtube – Douglas Murray – oct2015}

… but wait, someone, who is now in power to act out their words, did mention this problem and almost suggests that ‘too high immigration’ should be reduced …

“Because when immigration is too high (no figure given), when the pace of change is too fast, it’s impossible to build a cohesive society. It’s difficult for schools and hospitals and core infrastructure like housing and transport to cope. And we know that for people in low-paid jobs, wages are forced down even further while some people are forced out of work altogether. … So there is no case, in the national interest, for immigration of the scale we have experienced over the last decade.”

Armstrong founded Dooce in the early 2000s as a place to dish about work, sex and leaving the Mormon church.

The site’s name came from an inside joke that riffed on how she was unable to spell out the word “dude” quickly in online chats, according to reports from the Associated Press and New York Times

Mr Ashdown told the AP that his partner had been sober for more than 18 months but had recently had a relapse. He said she had died by suicide.
