Omnicom has been awarded a number of sizeable contracts by the UK Government. These have included a December 2018 advertising campaign contract for the Cabinet Office, worth up to £184 million; a £119 million October 2020 media buy-in contract with a £230 million extension clause; and a £112 million media contract for the Ministry of Defence.

According to the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), media buying enables the Government to:

buy media channels (for example, advertising space, partnerships, events and sponsorship) regionally, nationally and internationally across off and online channels.

MG-OMD have given their propaganda operation the Orwellian sounding name of OmniGOV. They say they are very proud of it and recognise their responsibility as the “the single cross-HM Government agency partner.”

OmniGov were behind the snappy slogans used to change our behaviour throughout the pandemic. Phrases like “flatten the curve”, “stay home, protect the NHS, save lives” and “rule of six” all rely on a psychological mechanism called the rule of three. The £119 million Omnicom contract to modify our behaviour was in discussion long before the WHO made their pandemic declaration.

Sturgeon released no charges yet. Don’t expect any. Someone phoned the cops ordering her release, then told the media to bury the story. In banana republics and third world shitholes the law is arbitrary.

      You’re absolutely right, G.W.F.

The operative word is “yet”, as the beeboid in charge of super-spin says a way down the piece, that “Police said a report will be sent to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service.”

So it certainly isn’t dead yet then!

In January 2019, Smollett staged a fake hate crime against himself in Chicago and later made false police reports regarding the incident. In December 2021, Smollett was convicted of five felony counts of disorderly conduct;[2] he was sentenced in March 2022 to 150 days in county jail.[3] He has since been released on bond while his case is on appeal.[4]

Pug, I think Boris’ own state of total chaos in his head, personal life and also his health played a large part in his downfall. In addition, he really needed Dominic Cummings to help organise him politically and spot the ‘CS coup’. It would be interesting to know what happened between Bojo and DC: was it all down to Princess Nut Nuts?

I have posted on here before that Ministers and I assume PMs do not even blow their noses before checking with a Permanent Under Secretary that they would not be breaking any laws. So apologies for repeating myself. Bojo was obviously lured in to ‘Partygate’, with unscrupulous journalists, who forget to wear their shirts or blouses for PR pics, on hand to spread the ‘news’. “We know how hard you have been working on this.” says it all!

The first time I saw the Climate Clock, it woke something up inside me — and that’s after 30 years of being in this movement.

—Jerome Ringo, Climate Clock Global Ambassador

      ..

      https://climateclock.world/

Data for the deadline is sourced from the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change. The MCC’s carbon clock assumes an average annual rate of 42.2 Gt of carbon emissions in order to calculate the time remaining on the clock. However, if rates of global emissions continue to rise, our carbon budget will run out even faster. If we cut the rate of global carbon emissions, time on the clock would hypothetically begin to increase.
