Nothing at all to do with the BBC, except maybe it’s endless promotion of minorities/multiculturalism.
Walking in town earlier I saw an e-scooter being ridden at it’s top speed, hugging the kerb on the wrong side of the road. It was of the type with a seat pillar and saddle, the rider a young Asian man crouching over the handlebars (I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of these devices ridden by anyone other than an Asian male 18-25 in my area). On one of the hottest days of the year, he was wearing a black diamond-stitched padded coat. A car coming the other way stopped in the road to avoid an incident.
Inexplicable behaviour to say the least. Reminds me of all those American cop dramas where the villains have shotguns under their overcoats in the middle of June.
Sorry, I’m not feeling the diversity.

St Paul’s Cathedral has upset the family of Sir Winston Churchill after they branded the wartime leader as an “unashamed imperialist” and “white supremacist.”
The insulting description is understood to have remained on the cathedral’s website for more than a year, although Sir Winston’s state funeral was held there in 1965.
In an article on the site about the state funeral, the website referred to his role in “fending off the threat of invasion and enabling a fightback against the Nazi occupation of Europe.”
But the site added: “He is also a figure of controversy, as he was an unashamed imperialist and white supremacist.”
Sir Winston’s grandson Nicholas Soames told the Mail on Sunday that his family felt that the remarks were “deeply offensive, thoughtless, stupid and ignorant.”
The Conservative peer had “saved England” by leading the fight against Hitler and added: “Even for allowances of some of the sort of more extreme views in the Church of England, this is really going too far.
“It was deeply offensive and caused great offence to a number of members of my family, and representations were made by a number of people.
“I am glad to see that the cathedral’s canon chancellor has now written apologising and having the thing taken down. I don’t know how it got there.
“It’s the sort of thing that is so thoughtless, stupid and ignorant and does the image of the Church so much harm. It’s such a terrible thing to say.”

I used to just check the BBC London Violence page to see what they were hiding – but a search once took me to ‘Evening Standard’ where I discovered the other stories the BBC didn’t even report.
What REALLY bugs me about the BBC is how they profess to be the arbiters of everything which is right and decent – but scratch through that extremely thin veneer and you discover they are the dirtiest, most ethically-barren far-left activist scum around. Everything they do is designed to circumvent their charter to be impartial.
But of course everyone here knows that already. Including the BBC lurkers and people like maxi.
Yesterday at the Theatre Royal in Portsmouth I had the great pleasure of watching a show put on by local dance schools and what an experience! I’d gone to watch two great nieces (age 3 and 12) perform but the whole evening was spectacular with over 120 children from 3 to 17 singing and dancing their hearts out, possibly the most satisfying show, amateur or professional, I have ever been to. Only 5 boys, unsurprisingly, but their dedication typified by probably the most talented. He broke his arm on Friday yet the following day, with arm in plaster, he totally wowed us.
And the most noticeable thing? The total lack of diversity! Not a single BAME, not one. No token coloureds, or headscarves, no rainbow flags, no virtue signalling. Just plain exuberant entertainment and kids enjoying themselves. You may have gathered that the BBC played no part in this production.
England, my England – and proud of it.
