The BBC loves to create division and to support its favoured causes. Here is todays ludicrously laughable example.

‘The women tackling the ‘woeful’ diversity in plumbing’
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-65808712

Images of ‘Carry On’ type possibilities involving (stop) cocks, knobs, and U-bends spring immediately to mind.

But more seriously. Where are the BBC stories about the woeful lack of men in other professions and the University courses that precede them?
Doctors, nurses, dentists, vets are all ‘hideously female’. Primary schools are no-go areas for male teachers and secondary schools not much better.
What have the BBC to say about that? F*** all.

    Pro-women bias writ large. Proved.

“More than 80% of female players at top European clubs have suffered regular discomfort because of their football boots, according to new research […] heel discomfort was significantly higher among black players (48%), compared with 32% of white footballers. ‘The numbers were staggering,’ said Claire Bloomfield, the ECA’s head of women’s football…”

“Football boots currently on the market are largely designed for white males.” Probably heterosexual too. Missed out on the holy trinity there, BBC.

If the criminal law doesn’t apply to them I wonder why organisations with legal departments don’t destroy them financially ….. ? Personally what I would do with them isn’t printable here … but there’d be no repeat performances …

When I studied Criminal Law, such crimes as the lunatic fringe now practice daily, fell under the Criminal Damage Act 1971. Thirty years ago, the Police took such issues seriously. That Act and numerous others are now held in contempt and they do not deter anybody. Rubber boats? Illegal entry in to the UK? Who gives a toss? Certainly not our elected Government.

I had a reason to question the term, ‘Amenity’ some years ago in relation to its use in a Licence to occupy land in which it appeared. A dispute arose over the owner maintaining the, ‘amenity’ licensed to the occupiers. I did a deep search of the Legal Databases at that time and found only one case where ‘amenity’ arose in a dispute. Admittedly it was a First Instance court but nevertheless, it was not challenged on appeal and the judge held that he would not stretch or distort the word ‘amenity’ to stray from its plain an simple meaning. I recall he took the English Oxford dictionary meaning of: “The pleasantness of a place (or person)”. I mention this because the unwritten Social Contract between the citizen and Government is being incredibly abused by the latter who, demonstrably want, by intent or recklessness, to destroy the ‘amenity’ of the UK. They and their masters are well on course. We’re heading for absolute chaos.

I actually joined the Conservative Party purely to vote for Boris when that need arose a few years ago. Look where that has got me and every right-thinking-body else?

The break down in society is palpable. But not only here, in the Western World it is ubiquitous. Life Expectancy dropped a very small amount in 2015/2016 but now, 2020, by a significant amount. I’ll bet the ONS will be forced to manipulate the figures come 2001 – 2022. I predict they will be horrific and the largest drop since the Middle Ages (if those figures were recorded !)

So far as I’m concerned until I can be satisfied that a party manifesto covers, at least the essentials a voter can expect and there is a leader who emerges who will firstly promise to repeal Bliars withdraw of the Death Penalty for Treason, I’ll not vote for anybody. As before, I see the only way, for my mental stability and others satisfaction, I will spoil my ballot. At least when the numbers are called, I will see that my spoilt ballot has registered, alone or not.

Very well said .the ‘life expectancy ‘ thing is – I think – very complex – but the lack of controls society puts on itself is leading to more and more mental illness – as well as permitted illegal drugs of course . Add social media / celebrity crap to that and it becomes more toxic – beyond basic hygiene / activity / obesity / diabetes / heart disease .

I too trust no politician – manifestos are of no value in current arrangements . A lot of people had high expectation that brexit was as about getting Britain back as much as refusal to be ruled by the Franco German alliance .federalism is obscene .

But I fear without serious change Britain is gone – it a multicultural sewer modelled on the USA without even a unifying flag / constitution . It has nothing .

I wonder if electric car insurance will be hiked up.

They weigh so much more than a similar sized petrol car and we are hearing they cause a lot more pot hole damage because of their weight.

If you were to compare the damage of, for instance, a normal car hitting a motor bike at 30mph, with a heavier electric car in the same type of collision, I would bet there would be much more damage and more serious injuries caused by the electric car.
Drop a 1kg bowling ball on your foot and you will probably get bruising.
Drop a 2kg bowling ball on your foot from the same height and you will probably break bones.

Insurance companies will use this as an excuse to hike up electric car premiums.

Khan is telling blatant lies here because Marks didn’t come to Britain seeking refuge. I have a relative who was offered a partnership at the begining with him and turned it down because he didn’t want to be in partnership with a Jew – times have changed since then.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Marks

He is also deliberately distorting history and what is going on today, because people didn’t mind the small amount of migration, and they probably still wouldn’t, but what they do object to is the scale of it, as well as the cost and the fact it is done by illegal means.

Mo Farah was not a refugee either, he was illegally trafficked into the country and gained citizenship at a later date, he was it would appear a child slave.

Darren Nesbit, Founder of Independent Newspaper The Light

    ● The Light was launched in the UK by Darren Nesbit in September 2020 and evolved out of the leaflets and flyers being handed out at London freedom rallies. It now has a print run of 100,000 a month.

    ● In June 2023, the BBC’s disinformation unit did a report on The Light. They accused the paper of sharing: “hateful and violent rhetoric” and claimed it has links to the far right. Darren strongly denies these claims. He says The Light provides information, opinion and debate that global mainstream media, and especially the BBC, is working furiously to suppress.

Presumably consultants going on strike in their wonderful world beating NHS will also suspend all their private income and enjoy a nice holiday in their villas … where they can count the extra readies they got covering for the junior quack strike – -maybe they have ‘timeshare ‘ —just a thought …

And I understand the darling nurses don’t want to ‘get round the table ‘ anymore – they can make up their wages doing care less agency stuff …
