Not the bbc – a piece today by a londonistan labour mp about the injustice of the ULEZ thing the emir is bringing in in 6 weeks – unless the courts block it .

Now that I’ve been forced to sell me car I’m all for it . In fact let increase the daily use of vehicles in londonistan to £25 quid a day –
And let’s go further – let’s chip every vehicle – including bicycles – and enforce compulsory insurance and road usage by the mile – including bicycles and scooters . As a democracy we are all in it together so should all suffer and pay together ….
I mentioned a labour mp being against it now – bit late in the day eh?
ULEZ – coming to your town and city very soon …
BTW – in the column the ex PM has in the daily mail I understand he is having a go at the ULEZ scheme – … he was PM – he could have stopped it – just a vacuous belch of a blue labour PM ….

Such things will push people to extremes …. Justified .
…. It seems starmer is supporting the expansion of ULEZ in London – something which will hit the least well off most …. Maybe there should have been a referendum

Fed, you have to remember hardened utility cyclists and even the lycra louts are independent thinkers and a rebellious lot. Faced with your proposals they would make Just Stop Oil and Extinction Rebellion look like hammerchewers. 😉

The great thing about bicycles is that it would be very easy to seize and store them for non payment of the ‘chip ‘ road tax .

Naturally chipping and tattoo ing people would come next – all regulated by the state for community safety of course ….

Think of the advantages – better control during lockdowns – no need for tags for criminals or those registers …. Areas can be zoned for cost – and time restrictions imposed – could even put a time limit on the chip – makings of a film script ….

Fed, it will be coming eventually, Revelation 13 vs 16 & 17. But in God’s good time. You really don’t want to hurry that along. It is not known as the Great Tribulation for nothing.

All that stuff of nightmares I describe about will be with us sooner than later – within 10 years ….. the sheer level of social control and designation of ‘unapproved ‘ is increasing almost by the month ….. national socialism isn’t far away ….. and spearheaded by the likes of the BBC …

I know a Pastor, well lead elder really, (former Open Brethren meeting) in north-west central London (Golders Green area) who makes a good case for a ‘significant event’ happening in 2030 or thereabouts. Yes, I know that Christians are not to specify a date but are just instead to “Watch and pray”.

tomo, bit of a non-event that. All I got was bird-song. Very lovely bird song (dusk or dawn) but nothing from the humans.

    https://www.theguardian.com/media/2023/jul/07/ofcom-investigates-gb-news-dont-kill-cash-campaign

Ofcom are showing their politics by having a go at GB News for complaining about plans for a cashless society.

Along with the BBC Ofcom are 100% in the pockets of the globalist cabal in the EU and WEF.

I don’t recall any other time in recent history when freedom of speech was under so much threat from within our country and the western World.

The ‘Don’t Kill Cash’ campaign is surely apolitical. It’s not an attack on any political party so OFCOM have no business looking into this. The campaign is more akin to a consumer action issue of which the BBC has run many over the years.

Many people will have had an experience similar to this during childhood:

You are playing outside. You see a large stone embedded in the ground, and you wonder if you can prise it free. You try and succeed, and to your surprise and amazement there are strange, horrible insects that have been living underneath, of which you were formerly unaware. As soon as they see the light of day, they immediately begin scurrying off to escape it.

That is how leftists and liberals and WEF stooges react to the truth. They simply cannot bear it, it is absolute anaethma to their existence and distorted view of reality. However, they don’t just run off, instead they do everything in their power to try and destroy the truth and anyone who promotes it.

For the record, the majority of senior staff in Ofcom are ex-BBC. To paraphrase the old saying: the rotten apple does not fall far from the rotten tree.

    The BBC reports that:

‘Murals of Mickey Mouse and other cartoon characters designed to welcome child asylum seekers to a reception centre in Dover have been painted over, by order of the immigration minister. Robert Jenrick instructed that they be removed, reportedly because he believed they sent too welcoming a message.’

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-66132158

Well, yes, quite. As the average age of a ‘child asylum seeker’ seems to be about 24, such illustrations are clearly inappropriate.

I see on my news feed that the USA has just approved supplying cluster bombs to Ukraine.

These are a particularly nasty weapon – and the UK, Germany and France have all banned them. Forget babies being pulled out of rubble : these are the weapons which will be killing and maiming children for decades.

The Left and the BBC should be absolutely outraged by this. In a sane world, this could well be the turning point for support for this proxy war by the USA.

Let’s see how ‘outraged’ these stupendous, double-standard hypocrites are. Already NATO has refused to condemn it saying ‘It’s up to individual countries what they supply’.

I was only reading today how Zelensky says the counter offensive is all going as planned. Will the BBC be asking why they need these awful weapons at all ?.

This is a serious escalation to try and save the counter-offensive. Expect some big escalation from Russia as a result. Meanwhile the BBC and our government will lie to us through their teeth and try to infer it’s a good thing.

What happened to the country I was willing to fight for ?. The lies and hypocrisy – for the war and everything else in our politics – sicken me now. I don’t blame the rest of the world for hating us (because they do).

JohnC, when I heard that the US might send some special weaponry to the Ukrainians my first thought was hyperbaric weapons. Equally nasty, but only to the combatants. You are correct in stating that cluster bombs could or would be maiming children, ie. non-combs, for decades.

Quite – but I think Ukraine lack an air force for that one.

I will be watching with interest how the BBC report this. I predict a short, facts-only report which does point out what it means for the future. But there will be no empathy, no real-life examples shown and definitely not opened to HYS.

I wonder if they feel any shame about it when they do it. No – who am I kidding. This is the Left : the ends justify any means. Even if it’s children being maimed for the next 30 years. They aren’t their children and they’ll just blame it on someone else.

Tragic of course. But not a chance in hell this would be such headline news at the BBC if she wasn’t a very cute, non-white child. In some ways it shows their total hypocrisy : would they run it if she was fat and ugly ?. I think not.

And yet another pure-empathy article by a female BBC quota employee – Tanya Gupta.

It was an accident. It’s just amazing what warrants front-page, headline news at the BBC. I would LOVE to know who decides it.

JohnC, I am sure the BBC are over-manned enough to have a Web-Site Editor, a Web-Site Designer, an Assistant Web-site Editor, A Web-site Graphic Designer, an Assistant Web-site Graphic Designer and a few secretaries to rush around between them all and schedule meetings, perhaps with a Special Web-site Correspondent, too.

Apparently, Richard Sharp has opined in the Dreary Torygraph that the BBC should get even more money from wealthier households. I think the BBC get far too much money, irrespective of the source. It is time to cut the Licence Fee, in my view, to £25 or £30.
