Lunctime’s new main narrative “top media people are VICTIMS
and the main evil is people speculating about them on social media”.
FFS it is OK to speculate, if someone may be a nonce or not
The suppression of speculation protects nonces.
Falsely speculating has consequences eg someone might lose a side job
The easiest way to ease false speculation is to name the accused in this instance.
Mark stephens – the ‘go to ‘ media lawyer for the BBC talks of the defamation cases the BBC staff may be taking against those who wrongly named them on social media .
Another result for us because it will keep this disgrace in the public mind .
BTW – I’ve not seen bbc news for a long time but it is now obviously neither present by the British nor aimed at the British – yet it’s paid for solely by the British ….
The Met police has announced that – in accordance with national practice – investigations of sexual abuse against children will not be started in the BBC case ….
On the other thread there was discussion about a17 year old getting a bank account.
But here’s another angle. Banks these days seem neurotic about money laundering checks. When we helped Miss S with her house deposit we were given the third degree by the bank and virtually had to give a DNA test to prove we were parents. Even opening a new account with your existing bank requires checks and proof of identity.
So if a spotty 17 year old with no history of living independently and probably no regular payments in (e.g monthly salary) suddenly wants to deposit £35,000 out of the blue or even over time you’d kind of think the Bank might just raise an eyebrow or two. Surely they’d be keen to know where the money came from?
Latest is the “child” has a lawyer who claims that Mum’s story is rubbish. Oh dear so where does that leave the Sun’s perceived evidence? Because surely the police would have started an investigation if they had access to it. Hmmmm…..
This episode gets weirder. The alleged “victim” now denies it all via his lawyer, where a supposed crack addict suddenly comes up with the readies to pay for a lawyer is anybody’s guess.
Not to mention why he would need one anyway if nothing occurred, he is not on trial!
My dad always impressed on me the tenet that “cheats never prosper” ….of course he lived in an age where cheating was not seen as a life skill and a bonus like today!
I did say before the denial by the ‘victim’ that something with this story did not sit right, and again I have to suspect an attempt at extortion was being made by the mother.
I now wonder exactly what part of her story was true, from the drug taking, to what she initially said in contact with the BBC, to the amount of money, or the alleged subsequent phone contact.
There is clearly some element of truth as there is no denial the youth was in some kind of contact with the presenter, but more than that is now completely unknowable at this stage.
What Cluster FUBAR involving the bbc is not enhanced when Owen chips in?
In The Sun's latest article, they casually print that the stepfather did approach the police – but had been told "they couldn't do anything as they said it wasn't illegal." https://t.co/9GGyKfDGROpic.twitter.com/9RdcLIEliY
I change my mind, I now pledge my alligence to the mother.
Kids hired his\ her or it’s own lawyer?
to defend the BBC star ….🤗.
I’m not convinced who this presenter is, Edwards could be a red herring, the swamp mud swirling around to confuse things
The Sun is hardly some maveric truth seeker, don’t trust any of them.
It’s frustrating that those in the media know who the presenter is while the rest of us can only surmise – especially those of us who don’t know where to look on social meeja where his name is rife, yet apparently 1 in 6 know who it is, so I’m clearly among the 5 others !!! On GBN tonight clearly all the participants are in the know, and we get teasers of “he’s the face of the BBC”, and “a household name known to millions”. Well, is it Pudsey bear then ? Even Kelvin Mackenzie maintained the name will never be made public, and likely the presenter will never appear on TV again following his suspension. Therefore my pent up curiosity will never be sated.
If you go to You Tube and look up Anna Brees, a former BBC journalist…gone rogue…she gives a rather clever, but obvious indication to the identity of the mystery man.
Sadly, this is one of the very few BBC presenters that I rather like and I hope that the allegations prove to be baseless. However…
One of the things that I find mystifying about the whole BBC perv scandal is:
Prince Andrew (‘allegedly’) had ‘relations’ with a (‘allegedly’) 17 year old, who was (‘allegedly’) paid by his (‘allegedly’) pervy American chum and procured by his (‘allegedly) wicked spouse – the daughter of a (‘allegedly’) crooked conman, who (‘allegedly’) ‘fell overboard’ one night whilst (‘allegedly’) drunkenly urinating off the side of his yacht (and (‘allegedly’) didn’t commit suicide to avoid an investigation into his stealing £millions from his employee’s pension funds, no siree).
It was major international news, the BBC’s (‘allegedly’) lovely Ms Maitless interviewed the Prince and (‘allegedly’) proved that he was guilty of this heinous act, beyond all reasonable question of a doubt. The Prince has (‘allegedly’) been a pariah ever since, and quite frankly his ‘career’ (‘allegedly’) is ‘over’ (‘allegedly’).
Personally, I think he (‘allegedly’) made his own bed on that one, and have little sympathy, but was what he did actually ‘ok’ and ‘legal’ in reality?
(‘Allegedly’) A BBC (‘allegedly’) ‘Super Cleb’ (‘allegedly’) pays (allegedly’) a vast amoung of money to a (‘allegedly) crack cocaine addicted 17 year old to send him dirty photos and videos, and that’s all (‘allegedly’) ‘ok’, and ‘legal’ (is it legal to solicit naked photos from under 18s?) etc… and we’re all told ‘not to speculate’, or talk about it, “move along now, nothing to see here”, “you plebs had better mind your own business, and keep your grubby little noses out of this.. ” etc….
Maybe I really don’t understand the law regarding nonces and 17 year olds, but it doesn’t seem a particularly ‘fair’ and ‘balanced’ treatment of the two events to me?
Eerily, the cover page of the UN report displays arrows pointing at the end game, dry reminiscent of the titles in the Dads Army opening sequence…. Any connection?

I noticed that Jon Sopel is talking about impartial and unbiased reporting but his twitter account has three references to his book whilst using the BBC brand. Could the BBC please explain what is happening?
1) Is BBC Jon Sopel supposed to tell us about the news or his new book?
2) BBC Jon Sopel’s twitter feed has the BBC name in it and says “Jon Sopel, BBC North America Editor. My book If Only They Didn’t Speak English is out now.” which references his book and not the fact he is an unbiased and impartial reporter.
3) BBC Jon Sopel’s twitter’s pinned tweet is from 23May2018 and is about .. himself and his book.
4) Is BBC Jon Sopel’s book 100% BBC approved thought and unbiased and partial?
5) Shouldn’t BBC Jon Sopel’s twitter be about the latest news and not himself?
6) When Jon Sopel sells a book does it go to help pay for the BBC TV Tax – to reduce it? As the BBC are promoting it – thus it is promoted by the BBC TV Tax Payer.

This morning I read in the Daily Mail confirming what I had speculated earlier in the saga that the parent (mother) I believe facilitated the payments to the child by the use of her own bank account, which to my mind means she absolutely knew what was going on, and this begins to take on a much darker tone, with an adult simply seeking enrichment.
Also the article states a possible abuse of parliamentary privelege in naming the presenter, almost certainly it will be a Socialists as they clearly love crime and criminality and will seek to smooth the path of the criminals wherever possible.
Thoughtful I don’t think he will be ‘named ‘ because the whips won’t want to upset the BBC – even though it might do them a favour ,
However – brave souls like Andrew Bridgen might do it …. Popcorn time again … day 6?
“But revelations that the Scottish government spent £150,000 of taxpayers’ money taking a large cast and crew on the road to a five-star resort in Sharm El Sheikh for last November’s COP 27 (with a nice wee stopover in Milan) revives memories of the sitcom trope. Minus the hilarity, of course (the SNP produce the least humorous politicians on the planet).”

The immigrants make their way north, having no desire to assimilate to French culture, but continuing to demand a First World standard of living, even as they flout laws, do not produce, and murder French citizens, such as factory bosses and shopkeepers, as well as the ordinary people who do not welcome them. They are also joined by the immigrants who already reside in Europe, as well as various left-wing and anarchist groups. Across the West, more and more migrants arrive and have children, rapidly growing to outnumber whites. In a matter of months, the white West has been overrun and pro-immigrant governments have been established, while the white people are ordered to share their houses and flats with the immigrants. The village containing the troops is bombed flat by airplanes of the new French government, referred to only as the “Paris Multiracial Commune”. Within a few years, most Western governments have surrendered. The mayor of New York City is made to share Gracie Mansion with three African-American families from Harlem; migrants gather at coastal ports in West Africa and South Asia and swarm into Europe, Australia, and New Zealand; London is taken over by an organization of non-white residents known as the “Non-European Commonwealth Committee”, who force the British queen to have her son marry a Pakistani woman; millions of black Africans from around the continent gather at the Limpopo River and invade South Africa; and only one drunken Soviet soldier stands in the way of hundreds of thousands of Chinese peasants as they overrun Siberia.
Corollary? Race riots/wars and the indigenous turn on the immigrants. I can’t see any other alternative unless the indigenous dig their hands into deep pockets and accept the blackmail (that’s what it will be) and pay for the tickets back. Then, charge the politicians up individually and personally for their support and encouragement of the invasion.
Bring back the Death Penalty, particularly for Treason.
Recently, a lot is being written and said on the subject of human trafficking and modern-day slavery, particularly due to the upcoming release of the highly anticipated film ‘The Sound of Freedom’ which was set to be officially released on 4 July, exclusively in theatres, there has yet to be an online streaming release date announced.
It is arguably the most important topic that concerns us humans, for it has to do with our most precious of all, our children.
This article examines the subject, the film, and all the dark details that surround its foundations, claims, and worries.
Feels to me like the Met are being a tad softly softly with the BBC, imagine if it was someone like Farage in their sights. I have a feeling that It would have moved at a much quicker pace somehow.

interesting thing is that they are getting bigger and bigger.
I am fascinated to see who is next.

And of course this has only come to light because the woman went to The Sun. It seems to me that the BBC got it gagged almost immediately.
Which of course raises the questions:
1. How many other times has it happened and they successfully kept it secret ?.
2. How many more of their nonces are doing something similarly seedy and nobody yet knows ?.

French riots and excuses:

MM,
