Lunctime’s new main narrative “top media people are VICTIMS
and the main evil is people speculating about them on social media”.

FFS it is OK to speculate, if someone may be a nonce or not
The suppression of speculation protects nonces.

Falsely speculating has consequences eg someone might lose a side job
The easiest way to ease false speculation is to name the accused in this instance.

On the other thread there was discussion about a17 year old getting a bank account.

But here’s another angle. Banks these days seem neurotic about money laundering checks. When we helped Miss S with her house deposit we were given the third degree by the bank and virtually had to give a DNA test to prove we were parents. Even opening a new account with your existing bank requires checks and proof of identity.

So if a spotty 17 year old with no history of living independently and probably no regular payments in (e.g monthly salary) suddenly wants to deposit £35,000 out of the blue or even over time you’d kind of think the Bank might just raise an eyebrow or two. Surely they’d be keen to know where the money came from?

I did say before the denial by the ‘victim’ that something with this story did not sit right, and again I have to suspect an attempt at extortion was being made by the mother.
I now wonder exactly what part of her story was true, from the drug taking, to what she initially said in contact with the BBC, to the amount of money, or the alleged subsequent phone contact.
There is clearly some element of truth as there is no denial the youth was in some kind of contact with the presenter, but more than that is now completely unknowable at this stage.

On GBN tonight clearly all the participants are in the know, and we get teasers of “he’s the face of the BBC”, and “a household name known to millions”. Well, is it Pudsey bear then ? Even Kelvin Mackenzie maintained the name will never be made public, and likely the presenter will never appear on TV again following his suspension. Therefore my pent up curiosity will never be sated.

One of the things that I find mystifying about the whole BBC perv scandal is:

Prince Andrew (‘allegedly’) had ‘relations’ with a (‘allegedly’) 17 year old, who was (‘allegedly’) paid by his (‘allegedly’) pervy American chum and procured by his (‘allegedly) wicked spouse – the daughter of a (‘allegedly’) crooked conman, who (‘allegedly’) ‘fell overboard’ one night whilst (‘allegedly’) drunkenly urinating off the side of his yacht (and (‘allegedly’) didn’t commit suicide to avoid an investigation into his stealing £millions from his employee’s pension funds, no siree).

It was major international news, the BBC’s (‘allegedly’) lovely Ms Maitless interviewed the Prince and (‘allegedly’) proved that he was guilty of this heinous act, beyond all reasonable question of a doubt. The Prince has (‘allegedly’) been a pariah ever since, and quite frankly his ‘career’ (‘allegedly’) is ‘over’ (‘allegedly’).

Personally, I think he (‘allegedly’) made his own bed on that one, and have little sympathy, but was what he did actually ‘ok’ and ‘legal’ in reality?

(‘Allegedly’) A BBC (‘allegedly’) ‘Super Cleb’ (‘allegedly’) pays (allegedly’) a vast amoung of money to a (‘allegedly) crack cocaine addicted 17 year old to send him dirty photos and videos, and that’s all (‘allegedly’) ‘ok’, and ‘legal’ (is it legal to solicit naked photos from under 18s?) etc… and we’re all told ‘not to speculate’, or talk about it, “move along now, nothing to see here”, “you plebs had better mind your own business, and keep your grubby little noses out of this.. ” etc….

Maybe I really don’t understand the law regarding nonces and 17 year olds, but it doesn’t seem a particularly ‘fair’ and ‘balanced’ treatment of the two events to me?

      2018 … Dear Winston Smith,

I noticed that Jon Sopel is talking about impartial and unbiased reporting but his twitter account has three references to his book whilst using the BBC brand. Could the BBC please explain what is happening?

      1) Is BBC Jon Sopel supposed to tell us about the news or his new book?

      2) BBC Jon Sopel’s twitter feed has the BBC name in it and says “Jon Sopel, BBC North America Editor. My book If Only They Didn’t Speak English is out now.” which references his book and not the fact he is an unbiased and impartial reporter.

      3) BBC Jon Sopel’s twitter’s pinned tweet is from 23May2018 and is about .. himself and his book.

      4) Is BBC Jon Sopel’s book 100% BBC approved thought and unbiased and partial?

      5) Shouldn’t BBC Jon Sopel’s twitter be about the latest news and not himself?

      6) When Jon Sopel sells a book does it go to help pay for the BBC TV Tax – to reduce it? As the BBC are promoting it – thus it is promoted by the BBC TV Tax Payer.

“Impartiality lies at the heart of public service and is the core of the BBC’s commitment to its audiences. It applies to all our output and services – television, radio, online, and in our international services and commercial magazines. We must be inclusive, considering the broad perspective and ensuring the existence of a range of views is appropriately reflected”

Anderson is not saying loads of people at the BBC are ‘perverts’ but that if you are one it seems to be a pretty safe place to be where your employer will cover up for you.

And just remember it was the BBC that labelled the Tories as having a ‘problem with women’…basically no woman was safe around any Tory…and indeed just last week the News Quiz stated that the Tories, no other party, were mysogynistic perverts that were a danger to women.

And there’s the classic whatiffery distraction comparison always used by the BBC to try and downplay issues….’yeah…but someone in your party sexually harassed someone….so the BBC can’t be called out as you’re just as bad!’

The BBC is of course going large on claims by the boy and his lawyer that nothing happened, everything was legal….what they forgot to mention in the news and a report on Today was that it is reported that the ‘star’ got in touch with the boy last week to try and stop the investigation…and suddenly the boy and his lawyer, who is paying for the lawyer?, put a spoke in the story.

The boy’s stepfather admits the police said they couldn’t act as there wasn’t any illegality…and yet the family say this started when the boy was 17…which would have been illegal.

So someone needs to see the bank statements and when payments first started and confirm the age of the then ‘boy’.

And then you might ask how many times has this ‘star’ done this before and with whom and how old? It’s unlikely to be a one-off is it?

Still, even if it turns out nothing illegal happened, it’s not a ‘good look’ for the BBC for a ‘star’ to be buying pictures of young men on-line for large amounts of money….dilemma for the BBC…what will they do with him?

This morning I read in the Daily Mail confirming what I had speculated earlier in the saga that the parent (mother) I believe facilitated the payments to the child by the use of her own bank account, which to my mind means she absolutely knew what was going on, and this begins to take on a much darker tone, with an adult simply seeking enrichment.

Also the article states a possible abuse of parliamentary privelege in naming the presenter, almost certainly it will be a Socialists as they clearly love crime and criminality and will seek to smooth the path of the criminals wherever possible.

The immigrants make their way north, having no desire to assimilate to French culture, but continuing to demand a First World standard of living, even as they flout laws, do not produce, and murder French citizens, such as factory bosses and shopkeepers, as well as the ordinary people who do not welcome them. They are also joined by the immigrants who already reside in Europe, as well as various left-wing and anarchist groups. Across the West, more and more migrants arrive and have children, rapidly growing to outnumber whites. In a matter of months, the white West has been overrun and pro-immigrant governments have been established, while the white people are ordered to share their houses and flats with the immigrants. The village containing the troops is bombed flat by airplanes of the new French government, referred to only as the “Paris Multiracial Commune”. Within a few years, most Western governments have surrendered. The mayor of New York City is made to share Gracie Mansion with three African-American families from Harlem; migrants gather at coastal ports in West Africa and South Asia and swarm into Europe, Australia, and New Zealand; London is taken over by an organization of non-white residents known as the “Non-European Commonwealth Committee”, who force the British queen to have her son marry a Pakistani woman; millions of black Africans from around the continent gather at the Limpopo River and invade South Africa; and only one drunken Soviet soldier stands in the way of hundreds of thousands of Chinese peasants as they overrun Siberia.
