One in 20 adults run out of food as prices soar
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-66199622

“Our findings also show that lone parents, disabled adults and black, African, Caribbean or black British adults are among groups more likely to be finding their rent, mortgage and food costs difficult.”

Try correlating the link between black people, black culture and single parent families in your article to see if you can find another reason they are the worst hit apart from inferring racism BBC.

But you won’t of course because the whole point is to shout ‘Britain is racist’.

JohnC that article has open comments
It’s over run by lefty activists who take the title claim t face value

However I don’t believe the narrative that many UK actually run out of food through lack of money
I can just imagine some people say they haven’t got any food at home but it wouldn’t mean they have zero food through lack of money

Yesterday was an extraordinary day for me for bargains , 1Kg of bacon for 40p
Mature cheddar for 20p, 2 lirles of milk 20p ..other stuff 75% or 50% off too

      Quote from article
“One in 20 said they had run out of food and had been unable to afford to buy more in the previous two weeks, the ONS survey suggested. That proportion increases to 28% of single parents.”
      Nope don’t believe that

New Disney production of Snow White being filmed now: “Disney announced that ‘magical creatures’ would replace the seven dwarves to ‘avoid reinforcing stereotypes’ […] the upcoming adaptation will not feature a Prince Charming and will instead focus on a ‘stronger’ Snow White who dreams of becoming a leader.”

This reminds me of The Canterbury Tales by Chaucer (The Millers Tale).

I am 100% certain that all the top comments in that article read like some 16 year old student idiot wrote them like ‘All thanks to the Tories. Election now’ or ‘Brexit – the gift which keeps giving’. Each one with hundreds of upticks.

If anyone makes a reasonable comment about the truth which doesn’t fit the Left’s agenda, they get hundreds of downticks.

Right and wrong simply don’t play any part now in a BBC HYS any more. Politcial topics are swamped by activists. And of course the BBC cherry-pick the articles to encourage these comments.

The BBC has become pathetic beyond my wildest imagination. I wonder what they think when they read the purile, insulting comments of their audience now. They SHOULD be embarassed.

The Absurd Spectacle of Miss Netherlands Being Won by a Man Shows That Women Are Being Erased

      https://dailysceptic.org/2023/07/11/the-absurd-spectacle-of-miss-netherlands-being-won-by-a-man-shows-that-women-are-being-erased/

Following news that the new Miss Netherlands is a biological male named Rikkie Valerie Kollé, Maureen Callahan in the Mail says we can “add beauty pageants to the list of women’s spaces that are no longer, well, women’s spaces”

According to an announcement from the Centers for Disease Control last week, biological men can and should be encouraged to ‘chestfeed’ infants and babies — even though the hormones needed to induce such unnatural discharge may, according to the FDA, ‘pass into breast milk in small amounts and can sometimes give babies an irregular heartbeat.’

The Mail on Sunday reported in May 2020, upon Sir Keir’s election as Labour leader, that he owns seven acres of land in Surrey worth up to £10m. The newspaper said that Sir Keir acquired the property, on green belt next to the Surrey home where he grew up, in 1996, while he was working as a human rights lawyer.

During the 2020 Labour leadership campaign, Starmer the politician, played down his wealth. “I’m not a millionaire”, he said, albeit he later conceded the north London house that he shares with his wife Victoria Starmer, might be worth £1 million.

We never talk about why the Taliban are in power (with so much equipment to cement that power) because the trail leads directly to Biden. Nor do we talk about things like the drug-growers being exterminated because that leads to the same questions.

Instead the BBC limit themselves to empathy, agenda stories – such as air hostesses meeting the BBC in a secret location to discuss how distraught they are that they got text messages not to go to work on Monday. Or young girls in tears because they can’t go to school and learn to be a doctor. Or girls football teams who can’t represent their country any longer. Or girl ice-skater sisters who dream of representing Afghanistan in the Olympics – even though they are only 6 now.

Any talk of men being beheaded is strictly off the table. Only high-empathy stories about women are allowed.

THAT is what the BBC is now. They don’t care one bit about who is REALLY paying the price for Biden. No agenda in that and it might let Trump get back in. Same as all the unbelievably brave soldiers dying horrible deaths in Ukraine.

I don’t often watch Channel 4 News, but I caught a sliver of it this evening. Bloody Nora…

They were going on about global warming. They showed us film of sweaty irate people, forest fires, droughts and warned us about impending temperatures that would be off the scale. We were threatened with apocalyptic heatwaves that would make Dante’s Inferno look like a stroll in the park.

I looked out the window, it was pissing down and my little garden resembled a muddy Flanders. We haven’t seen the sun all day and it’s so chilly this evening that I’m thinking about putting a match to the log burner. In mid July!

    Global bleedin’ warming.

    Do me a favour…

Fed, the Lord Jesus Christ specifically told his followers to not try to put a date or time on ‘the end of the world’ but to watch ….

          …… and pray.

The signs of the Lord’s return are listed in the Olivet Discourse in Matthew chapter 24, Mark chapter 13 and Luke chapter 21. John did not record the Olivet Discourse in his Gospel but then he had another book to write much later about ‘the end times’.

PS: For the media, especially the prints, ‘bad news sells’.
