Start the week 18th September 2023

A former BBC employee called Russell Brand is now the subject of an execution by media . Mr Brand is not ‘approved ‘ so – like many others – must be destroyed . But if the BBC is found to have ‘looked the other way ‘ again – it will help our cause of ending the Biased BBC .

OK, top of the Thread again but not three in a row. H/T to Davylars for beating me to the Midweek Top of Thread.

What will the BBC do this week? Soon it will be the start of the Party Conference season. Will they continue to rubbish HMG’s Government? Will the BBC continue to rubbish the UK? Will the BBC continue to promote Labour despite the potential for Labour to have its own disputes and splits.

Or will the Brand scandal make the BBC behave impecably?

Amazing the contrast about how the BBC treat Russell Brand and Huw Edwards.

One’s treated as a monster and the latter as a victim.

Nothing like being guilty until proven innocent if you are a white male accused of any sexual offences by who knows who.

And the BBC are right there to make it front-page, headline news.

These stories should only be allowed after he has been found guilty. Welcome to the new Nazis fascists. Brand is just the latest in a long line of victims.

I dislike the guy intensely – but unlike the Left who simply hate people with a passion for purely ideological reasons – this is out of order. #metoo and BLM are toxic movements rooted in hate.

    The same with political views.

One ( the right / libertarian/ patriotic) is treated like a monster.

The other ( Green/ extreme socialist / Marxist/ progressive etc) is treated as a victim of a bit of a misunderstanding, perhaps naive, or too forward thinking for the plebs to grasp what’s best for them .
But the Gramsci BBC is working to change attitudes.

I find it strange that the new Puritanism of the liberal left is there for all to see . Yet mr brand is a product of permissive broadcasting – where nothing is wrong – homosexuality promoted as ‘natural ‘ or the Muslim being given a free ride despite industrial sexual abuse of children .

I’m listening to a couple of big ex bbc big wigs talking about how ‘The Talent ‘ need to be controlled – when these were the people who turned the BBC into the sewer that it is -and which I avoid – how is Huw ? How is Schofield ?

I am watching history being rewritten. Article on the Daily Mail website from Andrew Sachs’ granddaughter says that after the episode where Ross and Brand phoned her grandfather, she apparently turned to drink and drugs. From what I remember reading about her at the time, I don’t think she was a stranger to either but she just didn’t want her grandfather to know what she was up to. I hated what Ross and Brand did at the time but I also hate truth being twisted.

    • TrickCyclist says:

Ross was surely as culpable as Brand in the Andrew Sachs affair, just look at the ‘Controversies’ listed on his wikipedia page, including asking David Cameron, “Did you or did you not have a wank thinking of Margaret Thatcher?”
Such activity was all meat and drink to Jonathan Ross. I remember hearing his Saturday morning Radio 2 show once, when a Dad requested a record for his daughter who was about to leave for university. This prompted Ross – and whichever beta male was his sidekick – to start discussing the girl’s possible sexual history, with Ross asking, “Do you think she’s still intact?” I wondered at the time what the Dad’s reaction might have been – chucking his radio out of the window is surely one of the milder possibiities.
AFAIK, the above anecdote never made it into the papers.

The personality “saviour” race between Khan in London and Drakeford in Wales goes another step with the introduction of 20mph limits.

The question is, where do they go from here? My thoughts are along the lines of Khan mandating the wearing of breathing apparatus or diving suits to even enter London whereas Drakeford might bring back men with red flags walking in front of every vehicle. The latter might provide jobs for all the soon to be unemployed Welsh seasonal holiday workers as visitors to the Country decide they can’t be arsed and go elsewhere.

even though I neither like (understatement) or trust *Saudi Arabia of Wind” Johnson this reeks of court intrigue that would knock “Yes Prime Minister” into a cocked hat. The political establishment is rotten and stuffed with more gross incompetents, frauds and flat out bad actors than has historically been the case.

We aren’t alone in the Anglosphere having an ideologically bankrupt and corrupt elite – what makes it multiply worse is the capture of almost the entire Fourth Estate by malign actors confecting a procession / menagerie of hobgoblins to distract.

Katie Hopkins’ take on the @rustyrockets business seems to have fallen afoul of either WordPress or Twitter’s embedding rules – I’d plump for Twitter tinkering as we well know the UK end is stuffed with psy-warriors from 77th Brigade who undoubtedly dance to tunes selected by Sir Humphrey’s chums at Vauxhall Cross (adjusts aluminum beret).

Caroline said this doesn’t go far enough and maybe men should be exterminated on the grounds of public safety – meesh thought all male babies should be killed at birth – there is precedent for this …

Caroline also encouraged men to kill themselves on the grounds of community safety – there will be tax allowance introduced in the next budget for this . …

tomo, altough the minds of Europeans in the EU (and in the UK) are concerned with illegal migration northwards there is a certain amount of illegal migration in the African continent southward into South Africa. Africa nations are very tribal; I cannot remember how many distinct tribes there are in Nigeria for example but if you are not from the ‘right’ tribe, you may find other Africans making life unpleasant for you. The President of South Africa keeps on ‘bigging up’ his nation now that a White led government has been thrown out so it is inevitable that other Africans from other nations see it as ‘the place to go’.

Dickie, thanks for putting that up. Interesting that Col. Macgregor refers to the petrodollar and the Federal Reserve printing cash. Tony Pearce mentioned that in the sermon I was listening to last night and that I provided links to in a reply to Fed earlier on this Thread @ 9.04 a.m.. Tony Pearce is not an easy listen as he has a mouth that produces too much saliva which he sucks and swallows from time to time while speaking.

Inside South Africa’s Operation Dudula vigilantes: ‘Why we hate foreigners’
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-66808346

A magnificent example of the BBC’s immense double-standards and anti-white racism.

Here we have a group of Black people who openly state they want all white people out of the country. It’s as racist as you can get. Yet the word ‘racist’ is not used once !!.

They even attempt to get empathy from the most racist of statements:

“To tell you the truth, I hate foreigners. How I wish they could just pack and go and leave our country,” she says, fighting back tears.

So it turns out it’s all about drugs. They blame white people for all the black addicts. Which is directly at odds with what we see in Londonistan of course where it’s the black people who are the major problem.

    Then we get:

‘It is hard to understand the strength of this hate until Ms Makoena pulls out her phone to show a picture of her son. Emaciated with a glazed look in his eyes, angry burn scars spread over his body, up his arms and across his face.’

Oh poor boy. Did evil whitey mistreat and torture her poor, emaciated son ?.

No : he was trying to steal power cables to buy drugs and got electrocuted.

What an absolutely outrageously biased and racist article from the BBC. Nothing is EVER black peoples fault. It’s always because racist-whitey made them do it.

    Here are the authors:

What the BBC do tomo is keep pushing the agenda just past their limit with articles like this and see what the reaction is. If they get away with it, it becomes the new line in the sand. If there is a backlash, they know to tone it back a bit – and edit the article.

They did the same a while back when they used a woke phrase for ‘parent’ instead of ‘mother’ in a story and got panned for it – so they quickly changed it.

They’ve been doing this for years – hence how they get away with their absolute racism these days. A bit like the boiling frog

indeed … there are an assortment of mendacious and manipulative BBC MOs.

In this case I suspect the antics in SA were noticed and recognised as something that required that “special BBC house context” applying. I sincerely doubt that either by-lined contributor is responsible for the detail text and certainly not the overall slant.

There is undoubtedly a lot more unacceptable detail for the twat lefties in W1A that have never been to Africa and they are seeking to apply spin before the herd notices.

That’s not a ‘transphobic’ comment, if people want to be trans and wear bizarre outfits, that’s up to them, I really don’t care, but, WHY are they reading stories to other people’s young children dressed in that way? Who is benefitting, and how?

I’ve always thought the important thing is the age difference, not whether one of them is over the ‘age of consent’.

A 19 year old having sex with a 15 year old is hardly shocking, but a 29 year old in the same situation definitely is.

A 66 year old (how old is Huw?) having a relationship with an 18 year old just seems ‘wrong’, even though the younger half is over the ‘age of consent’.

Most parents (myself included) would not really like one of their children getting involved with someone more than maybe 10(?) years older than themselves. I think it’s just the concern that in relationships like that there would be little equality, and it would be unlikely to last, AKA the suspicion would be that the older partner was ‘taking advantage’ of the younger one.

Yes, I am aware some relationships with big age differences can work, but I suspect they’re few and far between.

I don’t get this ‘male-female’ ‘power dynamic’ nonsense either, yes some men are out to use and abuse women, but some women are out to use and abuse men too. In the one case it is usually (not always) about sex, in the other, usually (but, not always) about money, but it’s not really that different.

I guess the old adage that a bloke wishes he was thirty years younger when chatting with some lady about the same age as his daughter still applies!

    ‼️BOMBSHELL‼️

“There is evidence of the involvement of the Ukrainian government and NATO in the organization and leadership of the criminal groups “Phoenix” and “White
Angel” engaged in the illegal abduction of children and their subsequent
removal to the West. (aka child trafficking!)

    – Ukrainian paramilitary formations deceived parents, threatened dissenters
against child confiscation, and engaged in extrajudicial executions.

    – According to two Foundation to Battle Injustice in Ukraine sources, in March 2022, Ivan Bakanov, former head of the Security Service of Ukraine, tacitly authorized the “Phoenix” organization to conduct forced evacuations of children from territories near war zones and gave a direct order to take “the toughest possible measures” against citizens unwilling to voluntarily surrender their children during so-called evacuation events.

    – After several months of almost daily raids by the “White Angel” and
“Phoenix”, local residents learned about their methods and schedule and began
hiding children in basements and abandoned apartments.

    – The structure and mechanisms of the special child abduction units “White
Angel” and “Phoenix” were created with the direct participation of NATO
advisers in Ukraine. Admiral Anthony Radakin, one of the key NATO advisers to
President Zelensky and Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Zaluzhny, patronized the creation of the organization.

It was the NATO operational services under Radakin’s control that supported the creation of a special unit for “evacuation”, but in reality, for illegal
transportation of children to the West.

Caught a bit of Stephen Nolan on R5 at the weekend talking about Lampedusa. Nolan fancies himself as a Paxmanesque destroyer of weak arguments but in fact comes across like a bitterly unpleasant village idiot. Continually bamboozled in an Adrian Chiles way, but without even an ounce of charm.

Anyway the piece was about Lampedusa, so naturally the expert on hand was the Guardian’s Rome correspondent, who said the locals are not against the migrant invasion per se — rather they were against the island becoming a tent city needed to house them. Locals empathising with the sorry plight of the arrivals… hard right government… etc etc.

I’d like to know whether Angela Giuffrida got her info from intensive field research with Lampedusa residents or whether she decided all this was true from a frappuccino cafe in Rome.

And now we see the evolution from global warming > climate change > climate crisis > global boiling > climate violence.

Xiye Bastida gives a talk at the UN: “Climate Violence is the absence of Peace. We want a world free of the violence of wildfires, floods, sea level rise, pollution, and extractivism.”

Xiye is Otomi-Toltec, a 21yr old Climate Justice Activist and a ‘Phenom’ in Time’s 100 Next. But of course she is. She founded “the Re-Earth Initiative—an international, youth-led organization devoted to magnifying the intersections of the climate crisis with other forms of injustice”.

Taking on the inequity of the natural world, one insane policy at a time. No one is safe until we’ve bioengineered vegan lions.

As these people don’t seem to be able to handle the fundamental forces of nature, can’t we ship them off to a virtual reality camp? Hook them up to an IV and stream continual images of fluffy kittens and intersectional rainbows… just let the rest of us muddle through the physical world like we’ve done for hundreds of thousands of years.

In the Spectator today there is an article by one their idiot lefties , Sam Leith, who is very cross that lots of ordinary people are saying that Brand is being set up by the liberal left establishment because they don’t like his non conformist pod cast. Extraordinarily no comments are allowed . This is very rare in the Spectator.
Leith is furious that so many people , idiots in his view , think that the MSM could be acting in concert to shut down someone who keeps raising topics and issues the establishment would rather keep hidden. Leith’s reaction is similar to those foaming at the mouth Remainers in the aftermath of Brexit , ‘How dare you plebs think something that you haven’t been told to think by us clever people’. He seems astonished that there is such widespread distrust of the MSM and its motives.
By the way I watched a couple of episodes of Brand’s podcast . His delivery is a bit histrionic for me but he certainly raises and pursues topics that we know the liberal establishment don’t want to discuss . I can see why he annoys them and with his supposed following of over 6 million he might even be considered dangerous .
Whilst I’m not forgiving his reprehensible behaviour with Sachs and have an open mind as to whether or not the latest allegations may be true, I do think that the pile on by the MSM is an attempt to silence an irritant.
