Sunak’s conference speech, introduced by his wife, contained some news, although no surprises. Guido gives you the main points…

    No tax cuts
Bashed Starmer for “just banging on about Europe”.
Rest of HS2 cancelled in favour of £36 billion worth of “Network North” projects.
    HS2 will go to Euston
£2 bus fare cap in England will remain
New Zealand-style smoking ban, so a 14 year-old today will never legally be allowed to buy a cigarette.
On vapes, “looking at flavours, packaging, point-of-sale displays and disposable vapes”.
Sunak “won’t be bullied into believing ‘people can be any sex they want to be”.
Double student medics and also reform “workflows” of the NHS.
No more “rip-off degrees” at universities.
A-Levels scrapped, new “Advanced British Standard” to “bring together A-Levels and T-Levels into a new, single qualification”. which will see students studying maths and English till age 18.
Teachers of “key subjects” to receive tax-free bonuses of up to £30,000 over the first five years of their career.

    2018 ….

“Journalism is printing what someone else does not want printed (May and Corbyn’s old speeches): everything else is public relations.” – Orwell

Theresa May … being put forward as Prime Minister and issuing a general election on implementing Brexit which was about immigration and sovereignty. … these speeches were never mentioned on the BBC £3.5bn news or other media outlets …

1978 … “Every country can take some small minorities and in many ways they add to the richness and variety of this country. The moment the minority threatens to become a big one, people get frightened.” – Margaret Thatcher 1978

2012 … “Two and a half years ago, the coalition government was formed, and we made a clear promise to the British public. After thirteen years of uncontrolled mass immigration, this government would reduce and control immigration.” – Theresa May 2012

2015 … “Because when immigration is too high (no figure given), when the pace of change is too fast, it’s impossible to build a cohesive society.” – Theresa May 2015

Jeremy Corbyn … with all the news on BBC £3.5bn Service regarding the Iran Nuclear Deal, Jeremy Corbyn has not been asked why he backs Al Quds protests and has spoken at them or why his is not vocal on Iran’s ‘death to’ position with Israel.

2012 … Jeremy Corbyn speaks at Al Quds march, Al Quds is the protest for all the oppressed but was initiated by an oppressor Ayatollah Khomeini. Jeremy Corbyn does not chastise the Iranian regime.

2018 … Iran release a ‘Death to Israel’ and ‘Death to America’ Government approved emoji. But this is not mentioned when talking about Iran by the BBC or other outlets.

MPs expenses …. it was in 2008 that MPs used expenses to fill their own pockets or shredded. UK MPs on both sides have talked about reducing expenses and recession and austerity.
Yet, since 2010 MPs have enjoyed a pay increased of 18%.
How come the BBC news has not reported on this when talking to MPs?

“The omission is the most powerful form of lie,
and it is the duty of the historian to ensure that those lies
do not creep into the history books.” – George Orwell

If Mr Fox is charged and sent for trial, I hope there is the biggest street protest in UK history around the court.

It is the only language these goons will understand.

They have to be stopped by the sheer power of Joe Public as their selective hounding and silencing of people they disagree with will keep getting worse as they push to impose their Marxist police goon state agenda.

Hate can be any incident or crime, motivated by prejudice or hostility (or perceived to be so) against a person’s race, religion, sexual orientation, transgender identity or disability. It includes:

A criminal offence where the law is broken is a hate crime
An incident that is not a criminal offence is a hate incident
‘Hate’ can cause a range of emotional responses, including fear, anger and shock. People experience mental and physical well-being issues such as problems sleeping, depression, anxiety and paranoia.

Hate hurts and no-one should have to tolerate it.

All you need to know about the appalling, biased, anti-government BBC is here in this story.

Man forced to sell home for HS2 has ‘lost everything’
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-67006024

    Why do I say that?
Because this story was true whether Sunak cancelled HS2 or not. It had already happened. So why did the BBC not show this story yesterday? Last week? Last month? Last year?

It can only be because they
    a. Supported HS2 irrespective of taxpayer-funded cost and therefore deliberately suppressed negative stories about the project while it was still live; and
    b. Have embarrassing the government as a primary aim irrespective of the validity of any given decision or policy.

    Guilty as charged, I suggest.

Not BBC but one of the most deranged Guardian takes I have seen yet:

“Sweden used to pride itself on moderation – until US-style culture wars poisoned our politics”. The Swedish writer acknowledges gun violence and gang crime are now at record levels… and then goes on to blame the far-right, and in particular Swedish politicians who’ve learnt divisive rhetoric from Trump and MAGA conservatives.

“… Trump’s presidency popularised these narratives globally, and emboldened Swedish nationalists to copy-paste the worst aspects of his style.”

The Swedish PM has now had to call for military support on the streets… but any links between the violence and the huge, rapid influx of foreigners in recent years are simply “conservative crime narratives that scapegoat immigrant communities”.

Only the Guardian could get things this wrong (and the BBC, Sky, the Indy etc.)

BBC fails to follow up on a refugee related News story … BBC £3.5bn Search for ‘Maria Freiburg’

… sorry if this makes you feel sick or generates hatred, but why aren’t the BBC interested in Maria Ladenburge’s killer being brought to justice and why the killer did it ….

      The Trial of Hussein Khavari (murdered Maria Ladenburge) Becomes Even More Sordid {gatesofvienna.net sep2017}

The accused entered the courtroom with shackles on hands and feet at 9:05am. First he read out loud a letter of apology, and he asked the family of the murdered Maria Ladenburger for forgiveness, Focus reports.

“I wish I could undo everything. What I have done, I am deeply sad about that from the bottom of my heart.” (Hussein K.)

Then he went on to recount the events of the night of the murder:

He had been drinking with three friends and he had smoked hashish. Because he was extremely drunk, he was thrown out of the bar. At some time after that, he was on his way home. At the [river] Dreisam, the girl on her bicycle approached him.

He kicked against the bicycle, which caused the girl to fall off. She screamed. He held her mouth shut. Then he strangled her with her shawl until she was unconscious.

“When I saw how pretty she was, I wanted to have sex with her.” (Hussein K.)

Apparently he thought that he had already strangled her to death. The judge questioned him concerning “sex with a dead girl,” and the offender said:

“It didn’t bother me to have sex with a dead girl.” (Hussein K.)

      BBC Last Touched on this story “Afghan murder suspect in Germany was jailed in Greece (convicted of attempted murder in Greece)” {bbc.co.uk dec2016}
Germans were outraged by the murder of Maria L, a student in Freiburg who volunteered for a refugee charity.

He was given a 10 year-sentence but was apparently freed after about 18 months.

      LAWS!

He was given a 10 year-sentence but was apparently freed after about 18 months.

The Police can only prosecute when the law is broken, but we also want to know about non-crime hate incidents. These incidents may not be criminal offences but often can feel like a crime to those affected, and can sometimes escalate to crimes, therefore, we work with partners to try and prevent this from happening. Hate incidents can include things such as offensive or insulting comments, online, in person or in writing.

O’Brien was looking down at him speculatively. More than ever he had the air of a teacher taking pains with a wayward but promising child.

‘There is a Party slogan dealing with the control of the past,’ he said. ‘Repeat it, if you please.’

“Who controls the past controls the future: who controls the present controls the past,” repeated Winston obediently.

“Who controls the present controls the past,” said O’Brien, nodding his head with slow approval. ‘Is it your opinion, Winston, that the past has real existence?’

Again the feeling of helplessness descended upon Winston. His eyes flitted towards the dial. He not only did not know whether ‘yes’ or ‘no’ was the answer that would save him from pain; he did not even know which answer he believed to be the true one.

I quoted the law regarding Conspiracy above in an earlier posting. Not having watched the video from Fox, I assumed that there (surely) cannot have been any positive connection between those carrying out the damage and Fox. Further, I had assumed Fox had not committed the early part of the crime, i.e. ‘agreement’ with others. Seems Fox has dug his own grave. I’m personally neutral about the Fox character in general but his actions are simply stupid. The police will love ‘low hanging fruit’ all nicely packaged up for them.

The fact they have used all these police on such weak grounds to harass and intimidate Laurence IMMEDIATELY after they blew up what he said on GB-News way, way out of proportion is about as clear as it can get that the ‘establishment’ are out to remove him.

They have done it to every single right-wing activist who starts to get popular. It’s plain and simple left-wing fascism. The country is now so far gone from Leftist/Globalist political policies, the only way to stop a chance of civil unrest is to quickly suppress those who have different opinions and start to get noticed by the public.

    ABSTRACT
Shortly after Infosys was founded in 1981, its managers faced a major turning point when they made a decision to operate without giving in to the petty corruption rife in the Indian economy. Within just a few years, that decision had truly defined the company. Over the next 25 years, Infosys managers went to extraordinary lengths to avoid even the most modest of practices that they considered inappropriate. Explores the practices and methods that Infosys adopted instead, considers their costs, benefits, and generalizability, and contextualizes the problem within Indian political and economic institutions that continue to evolve.

Some interesting insights into what’s going on at GB News…

Among other claims: there’s a civil war behind the scenes; a lot of people work there just to get a foot into broadcasting, but don’t share the ideology; many come from the BBC while others want to end up in the BBC…

If all the main GB News presenters don’t resign in protest right now, they are condemning themselves to a slow and painful demise where they get picked off one by one. The Left don’t just want rid of a few of the most right-wing : they want to destroy it completely.

GB News is worthless without people brave enough to go against the establishment line.

Why do so many men take their own life? I honestly don’t know, but the fact we’re simultaneously ‘cancelled’ and treated as the root of all evil by the MSM really can’t be helping. I have wondered if being brainwashed into hating yourself is one of the reasons so many young men are now changing gender, saying they’re gay, bi, etc…. ? It also explains why so many seem to be misogynists (the real thing, not just people who say daft things about specific women), which isn’t good either!

If Labour’s ‘green’ policies are dictated by the likes of Pwackum and Monblot, then of course they’ll apply an extra tax on meat – and encourage (enforce?) veganism on you and your pets… see the Guardian, for example:

Labour would NOT take 100,000 of the EU’s asylum seekers as part of Smarmer’s backroom deal with Macaroon, of course not… no, they’d take ALL of the EU’s asylum seekers, and more, as we all know.

Is inflation a tax?… no, of course it isn’t, it was just a figure of speech stupid…

Does HS2 cost ten times as much as it would in France? Another figure of speech you idiots… but, I bet it costs a heck of a lot more than it would in France, because, apart from anything else, land prices here are generally much more, and so much more of our land is built over.

Has the UK ‘decarbonised faster than any other country’? Yes, admits the BBC, but….

Has the UK been the second biggest contributor (after the US) to the Ukraine war effort? Germany has PROMISED more in 2023, says the BBC… yes, but that’s not what was claimed, is it?

The phrase: Ye shall know them by their fruits (Matthew 7:16) one might rephrase – for the purpose of a news media review as: You shall know them by their headlines.

Faced with a nanny state-like policy announcement, of which Aunty is obviously generally approving, and were it eminating from the mouth of that personality blank slate that is Keir Starmer, would no doubt be cheered to the rafters, nevertheless our BBC can’t help itself but deploy that hoary old disapproving clichéd sub-editorial formulation “Defends

Defends is of course right up there with Despite in the higher realms of media cant. Any headline including that dread word is relayed dripping with implied disapproval and negativity.

Rishi Sunak defends his plan to ban smoking for younger generation (BBC)

Not that Mr AsI would hold a candle or wave aloft a cigarette lighter in celebration of the diminiative fake-conservative former Goldman Sachs office boy Rishi; he of the Roland Rat ears and dressed in a suit that looks as though it was borrowed from his slightly smaller in stature younger brother.

To the fruits of the press – so we may know them, so to speak.

The Daily Mail honestly owns up to the nature of its other half – content-wise – as being the Femail Magazine – and having established that prenup-like understanding that chaps will be criticised, hen-pecked and diminished in the most shrewish of terms, at all times, the gloves are off: Why it doesn’t matter if you don’t fancy your other half anymore (Daily Mail)

No matter that the big frontpage pin-up pic is: Centre stage: Rishi Sunak with wife Akshata Murty yesterday – and loyalist headlines scream: Pride in family… And an unequivocal statement that a man is a man and a woman is a woman (Daily Mail) – thin gruel indeed for social conservatives. Frankly I don’t see a man. I spy a manlet.

While we’re swapping tales of our press title other halves, so to speak – the formerly patriotic Times labels its Femail equivalent that resides between its sheets as Times2

Sci-Fi literature warns us that in the future everyone will have a number in their name.

Times2 has pretentions of being a little more upmarket than the Femail but those are pretentions – and one expects one might meet her playing hostess and putting out the nibbles at Abigail’s Party (Play by Mike Leigh, 1977): Wotsits with your reisling The crisps and wine guide (Times2)

Inevitably she’s fiesty and diverse – and cares nothing for tradition: Why Naomi Campbell is taking over the V&A (Times2)

The Labour-curious, potential Starmer fan girls at the Times voice (sotto voce) their concern about Rishi’s apparent lurch to the right: Son of a pharmacist casts himself as Thatcher’s heir – Ouch! Casts himself stings like a BBC despite or a defends.

And does one catch a slight hint of the dread racism in the tag Son of a pharmacist?

Son of a Preacher Man Dusty Springfiled (1969)

The Sun in that most economical and concise way of the tabloid sums up for us voters the sad paucity of policy on offer: Rishi: I’ll axe cigs and A-Levels

And then there’s a main headline screamer about football – that might otherwise stand as epitaph for lame duck Sunak’s prospects: They think it’s all over the place (The Sun) – in fact this is: World cup shock… 2030 to be staged on 3 contiments… A bonkers Wold Cup to be played in three contiments was announced yesterday by Fifa (The Sun)

Stop everything. There’s something that happened that upset Liverpudlians. So can we just start all over again? Klopp demands Spurs replay (Daily Star) Thought for the day: We’re happy to replay any game… except the 1966 World Cup Final

And of course the 2016 Brexit vote

Better out than in – a rather polite definition of that saying goes like this: It means that rather than stuffing things (emotions, events, waste, irritants) into your being, I would rather have them processed, integrated, and/or released (Linked In.com)
