Scrobie, thanks for putting that up. I wasn’t familiar with that Gabriel song. It is interesting how Peter Gabriel has been influenced by a Public School education with its exposure to Christianity via chapel. Solsbury Hill is probably the most famous of his songs and that, too, has little nods toward Christianity and Scripture.

Hope the first born gets to visit you both regularly.

Jailed Iranian activist Narges Mohammadi wins Nobel Peace Prize
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/world-67027045

According to the blurb, the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded to:

‘the person who had done most for “fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses”‘

So can ANYONE explain to me how a womens rights activist can win it ?.

This is what globalism is all about. Any lies and hypocrisy they see fit if it fits whatever agenda they have at that time.

As I recall, Obama won it for simply being black – but Trump who actually DID promote peace in the Middle East – particularly about Israel – and also had a good attempt with North Korea didn’t.

Every award like this is now worthless because they are completely politicised. My own watershed moment was when Sir Nick of Clegg was touched with the sword. At that moment, the entire awards system was shown up for the complete corrupt farce it is.

Assuming all our bonkers MPs minus 1 took the clot-shot this means about 20 MPs should be experiencing adverse reactions such as: heart attacks, stroke, turbo cancers, or even deff.

“MP has a cancer diagnosis” Study the following recommended Dr John video.

Throughout the Covid episode, I relied heavily on Dr John Campbell for straightforward info not provided by any of the murderers in the Government conspiracy and/or MSM. I still rely on him. It was Dr John who introduced me to Vit D and Zinc and Ivermectin. I did not have to resort to the latter although I bought (with extreme difficulty) 200 of the bona fide tabs from India.

I refer to ‘Murderers’ above because I firmly believe, as stated here before, the Governments (and others) were prepared to take the opportunity and kill off as many of the population as was/is possible either by design or recklessness. It is still going on as the Excess Deaths show. Am I harsh with no evidence? No.

I watched all of a Dr Johns video yesterday evening and having watched all the 1hr 16min intriguing interview with Professor Dalgleish, I feel totally exonerated from using my ‘Murderers’ label above. Merely confirmation of my deep seated suspicions.

It seems likely that Prof. Dalgleish is the most qualified medical person in the UK and the most experienced. Notwithstanding, as a ‘straight talking bloke’ he was not invited into the Governments inner Covid sanctum despite having to point out errors on numerous occasions. Maybe standing as a UKIP candidate in 2015 had something to do with that. Ignored needless to say by those anxious to ignore facts and continue to kill of many of the population.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angus_Dalgleish

Over the years of watching John Campbells videos this is probably going to be the most important one for me. Highly recommended:

The News Quiz Radio 4 6.30pm repeated tomorrow at 12.30pm

The Socialsts Sneering were in their element because of course it’s been the Conservative Party conference.

So it was all sniggering among themselves as they made out that the Tories were heartless fools who don’t have a clue about anything . We don’t take enough migrants in , we don’t understand transgenderism so we make bigoted assumptions about them ( one panellist said he/she/ it was transgender) and woke things are good .
The other panellists- a bloke from Malaysia ( so he’s allowed to criticise the U.K. for not being liberal/ left ) a Scottish women and Hugo Rifkind guffawed like anything as the in jokes between the sneerers went more and more woke left .

The LibDims conference next . The meme will be that they aren’t in power but the dwindling audience will be reminded that when they were in coalition they dropped a manifesto pledge – one manifesto pledge the BBC approves of so its a heinous sin – grants for students . (Dropping manifesto pledges like stopping the immigration invasion is OK though and no party would be traduced for that ) .

The Labour Party’s conference is after that .
The meme here will be that they aren’t ardent enough on policies that Beeboids approve of ( like rejoining the EU ) and some make mistakes that might jeapodise them getting into power. (Although they mustn’t be populist because populism is bad in a democracy!? ) .
In fact the worse crime in the lib/left tribe is not dumping your wife at an airport, fraudulent mortgage applications, taking money from the Chinese or even murder ; its creating a split in the Party that keeps it from power.

The giggling panellists loved every minute of it and so did the half wit live audience. The listener at home won’t get that half hour back .

The case of the would be Queen’s assassin, Jaswant Singh Chail, demonstrates the need to control and limit immigration. He was undoubtedly mentally ill, basically he was a nutter. The cause of his mental issues appears to be isolation. Isolation, inability to adapt to Western culture, unable to bridge between his ethnic roots, his parents culture and the world around him. It’s an all too common issue with ethnic background children. We see time again how ethnic kids end up turning into terrorists.

Dozens of rockets fired from Gaza towards Israel
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-67036625

A report written so clinically and without elaboration that you could almost mistake the whole thing as a fireworks prank instead of the act of terrorism it really is.

Of course the BBC do not use that word. It does appear, but only as a quote from someone else in apostrophes which kind of infers it’s not true. And no links to articles for the many other terrorist attacks against Israel.

So now Israel will strike back and it will be another empathy laden, pro-Hamas piece by the BBC criticising the evil Jews for murdering the innocent Muslims. And of course they will only mention that it is in retalliation for these rockets further down – well away from the headline.

I doubt this one will stay on the front page for long.

Nothing new here : the BBC know nobody will pull them up for it now. OFCOM seem to judge the BBC by the same standards as all the other news outlets but they should not : only the BBC has an actual mandate to be impartial and unbiased. Their rules should be far stricter then anyone else.

Hamas terrorists are shooting civilians in an Israeli city. This is crazy. They invaded the country and they’re trying to shoot as many people as they can. As you can see, this video is filmed from inside a family’s home.

And they are terrorists – even though the BBC will not tell us they are. The anti-semetic far-Left idiots at the BBC consider them to be ‘freedom fighters’ but aren’t allowed to say it.

Next we will get much bigger stories about how the nasty Israeli army has killed innocent Muslims along with a few interviews of grieving family members telling us they absolutely were not terrorists and wanted to be doctors. The rockets and murder on the streets will be long forgotten by then.

£370m = about £1 per week per pupil

“Because the number of pupils was underestimated, an original plan of a 2.7% increase per pupil in England for 2024/25 has now been revised to 1.9%.”

      So £370m is the difference between 2.7 and 1.9 = 0.8%

      So 100% = 370/0.8 times 100 = £46,250 million total school budget for England
Pupil numbers are about 9 million call it 10 to get a ball park

The government delivers about £4,625/year per pupil
but had told schools they were getting £37 more

That’s about £1 per week per pupil
      That seems small money

(spending is about £116/week per pupil)

    Decent long-standing edition

The FT is impressed: Starmer hails Rutherglen victory as sign that Labour is heading for power

Of course the Guardian fawns over: Labour’s new homes pledge after seismic byelection win

Naturally the left-leaning ‘i’ newspaper is keen: Starmer’s ruthlessness is working in Scotland

But since Tony Blair’s destructive constitutional tampering – including the creation of devolutionary Scotland – just like the past in L.P. Hartley’s 1953 novel “The Go-Between” – Scotland is another country.

And the implosion of the SNP as a factor is not to be overlooked. Unless your news media is puffing for Labour.

Which most it is. The formerly patriotic, now onboard with Starmer, Times of London has interviewed Sir Keir so often of late that they may as well lend him the keys to their editorial office. Today it’s the turn of: In an interview with the Times [Wes] Streeting [Labour shadow health secretary] issues direct appeal to “decent long-standing Conservatives” to turn to Labour – while plugging as the main frontpage headline: NHS must modernise or die, says Labour (Times)

He has a point. Only Labour can reform that running ulcer of tax payer funding blob which is our nationalised health sector. The Tories are terrified of it. They’d bang pots in its honour until none of us had a pot left to piss in.

However, despite the Labour lad Wes telling the Times of his prognosis as to the NHS’s ills – and offering more cash for some specific fancy-sounding bits of kit: …£171 million a year over the next parliament on new MRI and CT scanners equiped with artificial inetelligence technology – there’s scant detail as to the overall curative prescription on offer from Labour so as to bring the ailing NHS back to health. Nothing about fixing the busted culture and dubious motivation of our often would-be part-time medics.

Of course our Wes is dripping with empathy: Describing himself as “a walking talking case-study”, Streeting described… his own kidney cancer… (Times)

Meanwhile his line manager Keir Starmer (Tony Blair is the CEO who runs the off-shore head office) may come over as an ex-patient in recovery from a personality by-pass but we may perhaps judge the sadly low calibre and childish unstateman-like personality of his crop of prospective ministers by a quote from Angela Raynor celebrated on the cover of the Guardian: “I love campaigning, it’s like playtime”

Labour policies and pledges are like Play-Doh, a modeling compound for young children to make arts and crafts projects… comes in a variety of colours… soft, pliable, malleable, non-toxic and reusable.

Lunch with the FT… The next chancellor? Labour’s Rachel Reeves – I wonder who picked up the check for that lunch?

    Poor excuses corner

Stop Gear… (The Sun) – no, that’s nothing to do with Welsh government anti-car policy. This is: BBC axe show after Freddie horror… BBC chiefs have axed Top Gear – ten months after host Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff’s horror crash while filming (The Sun) – nothing to do with terrible ratings since Clarkson’s departure, then?

Speaking of self-inflicted wounds – a BBC-approved friend of the BBC has a rare moment of insightful self-awareness: ‘Playing Savile has the potential for catastrophic failure’ (BBC quotes Steve Coogan)

    Exposé or cover-up?

BBC omits Savile cover-up from show… does not dramatise the scandal in which executives shelved a Newsnight investigation revealing him to be a sexual predator (Telegraph)

On a lighter note – dare one refer to a Zippo?

Our fav cartoonist Matt of the Telegraph returns to form with a sketch of a proud father at the maternity ward bedside telling the missus: “I’ve laid down a packet of cigarettes for him when he’s 18” – despite inheritance tax?

How about a Calm Down Dear?

I’m not rich enough to have a baby Charlie Gowans-Eglinton (Times Magazine) – that’s a woman by the way. Charlie is used as a name by both genders but the clue was her reference to having a baby. I spell that out for the benefit of those who work in the public sector who tend to confuse themselves over simple things like that: Councils, universities and police all have policies to help staff deal with ‘male menopause’ – despite experts saying it doesn’t exist (Daily Mail)

Apparently: …fire services have ‘male menopause’ policies, the Mail can reveal. – my message to the fire service – you’d do well to check your hoses, lads!

Yesterday I listened to two pod casts , one from 2019 by Tucker Carlson and one from two weeks ago by Victor Davis Hanson. In the first Tucker explains that Trump’s election was a cry from the people for the political elites to listen to them and do what they wanted. In the second, four years later , VDH explains that the Dems have doubled down on their far left woke policies and become extremely vindictive towards any opponent.
Both podcasts wonder about the stability of the USA and how if at least half of the population , a number that they think is growing, feel disenfranchised by the political elite , the USA can function or even exist as a single political entity.
So after four years the Dems and the elite did not take Trump’s election as a warning but as a challenge to their authority and decided that any and all opposition must be crushed.

TOADY Watch #1 – there couldn’t possibly be another COP Summit next month, could there BBC?

Tucked into the 7 a.m. News was the item that the world has enjoyed more days above the ‘1.5°C to stay alive threshhold’ than evvah befowah. It seems that since COP 26 in Glasgow, we will get this drip, drip, drip of Global Warming and Climate Change/Emergency/Crisis from the BBC from the begining of September to the end of November each year.

Trouble is that this constant dripping drivel has an unfortunate effect on both oil prices and gas & electricity prices. All three would tend to rise anyway as winter really gets underway in the northern hemisphere. Why? Because the majority of the world’s population tend to live north of the equator. Mind you, most of the southern hemisphere is sea water and it tends to have a vast continent inhospitable to human life.

LOL…the BBC has tried hard to erase the white guys from history but it seems they’ve started on the black guys….

‘Topical news panel show Question Time has been thrown into a race row after the BBC deleted a clip of Fiona Bruce referring to an audience member as a ‘black guy’.

In Thursday night’s broadcast of the show on BBC One, the host asked a man from the audience to put his question to the panel – but her racial description was edited out when it was uploaded to iPlayer.’

Soooo…what was the problem? Was it the ‘black’ or the ‘guy’?

Surely not the ‘black’ as the BBC is desperate to liberally add ‘black’ to every description especially in regard to history as it blackwashes our culture and civilisation literally turning it ‘black’…not to mention our actual society as it tries to import non-whites so that we are eventually to be outnumbered and bred out.

Maybe it was a gender issue…’guy’….maybe he/she/it was gender fluid, non-binary, a self-declared woman having a bad hair day….show some respect.

The BBC’s reaction seems a tad sensitive and knee-jerk….makes you wonder what else they’ve censored and changed to suit various groups of ‘the Offended’…..and was the black guy offended in anyway? Doubt it unless he’s a blacktivist with a professional axe to grind. Betting there’s plenty of similar examples of the ‘redhead’ or the ‘blond’ or maybe even the ‘white guy’ in previous shows.

Yeah…same with GDP….goes up 0.2% and it’s meaningless….goes down 0.2% and we’re heading for recession…and when GDP is really significant then apparently maybe GDP is the wrong measure of how the economy is doing and we should use something else…that shows we’re actually in recession…in the BBC’s interpretation.

Telling comment from Andrew Neil in the Mail….and what we all knew…no-one was being honest and the politicians were getting away with it because the media was onboard as it was with covid and lockdowns……

‘When I interviewed then Chancellor Sunak in June 2021 during my mercifully brief broadcasting career at GB News (only eight shows over two weeks), I asked him to tell us the cost of net zero.

He couldn’t. I suggested it would be in the trillions and it was surely the Treasury’s duty to come up with a price tag. He obfuscated. He said after the interview that nobody had ever asked him the cost before. He’s taken his time to find out, if he has.

The fact is net zero was backed by such an overwhelming political consensus and a cheerleading media (which failed to do its job challenging the consensus) that questions of cost were regarded as an unnecessary spanner in the works by unhelpful naysayers.

When media organisations like the BBC, which loudly proclaims its independence, cosy up to government and become their mouthpiece, not just pushing the government propaganda but acting to silence and demonise any who dare raise questions and demand facts you’re in deep trouble as a democracy.

Will the covid enquiry ask questions about the role the media played in the pandemic given how the media drove the panic and pressured the government into ever more extreme positions…..the ruinous cost of which, well we could have guessed then, but the reality of which is only now striking home.

    Not on the BBC:

The Nuremberg Code Society (NCS) versus the General Medical Council (GMC), the Doctors of (WHO) and InterNAZIonalesozialismus (InterNAZI’s)

Doctors holding the General Medical Council to Account over its breaches in its contract with Doctors, Patients and the Public. Specifically, any Doctors electing to withhold their GMC subscriptions should be seeking guarantees as follows:

    (1) The GMC must refrain from supporting any political decisions that attempt to interfere with or manipulate the appropriate response to any declared pandemic. It is a charity and should not be involved in any political decision making. It must remain neutral when governments and supra-national bodies such as the WHO call for unprecedented measures such as lockdowns, face masks and mandatory vaccination, in particular when the evidence base for the efficacy and/or benefits of such interventions is at best weak while it is overwhelming for the numerous, well known and documented harms.

    (2) The GMC must also abide by Doctors’ constitutional right to petition the king (enshrined in the Bill of Rights of 1688). This right is unqualified and gives Doctors the legal right and, arguably, an obligation to dissent publicly regarding political health measures brought in by HM Government.

    (3) The GMC must recognise Doctors’ human and legal rights and obligations to protect patients. In particular, it should agree not to intrude on Doctors’ professional judgment. Not to interfere with the Doctor/patient relationship. To uphold the right to free and informed consent. E.g. Why has the GMC remained silent about mandatory vaccination, which is a clear violation of that principle? In fact, in stark contrast it is on record as having instructed their Counsel to make a submission to an Interim Orders Tribunal that any suggestion that the mRNA vaccine was “genetic manipulation” was a “conspiracy theory.” On what evidence does it base this absurd claim? In light of the overwhelming evidence that has emerged over the past couple of years or so of the damage being done by the mRNA vaccines/gene-therapy and their woeful lack of efficacy at stopping transmission, which was not even tested for by the manufacturers by their own admission, I would suggest this statement should be withdrawn and an apology should be issued in its place. Shocking evidence is emerging that mRNA jabs “are” gene therapies, because they accidentally contain DNA, and the mRNA undergoes reverse transcription into DNA, which inserts into the chromosomal DNA.

    (4) By aligning with the failed government and World Health Organization Covid-19 strategy the GMC has not acted either in the Doctors’ interests or in accordance with the needs of the public. Instead of being supportive, it has opened investigations into Doctors who have upheld their Hippocratic Oath in direct breach of the above principles. As such the GMC and those working in this organisation may be complicit in the unprecedented harms inflicted upon the public through unscientific, inappropriate and dangerous interventions and Covid-19 policies dictated by the supranational entity that is the World Health Organisation. The GNC may well be held personally accountable for following unlawful instructions that have led to harm.

    (5) It is time now for those running the GMC to explain why this organisation has let Doctors and the public down so profoundly, what they intend to do by way of reparations for the harm that they have caused, and how they will ensure that the Covid-19 human rights violations committed in the name of “the science” never happen again. If future NHS vaccinations remain experimental without prior informed consent. This will violate the International ruling of the Nuremberg Code, and the legal terms of the UK Montgomery Judgement (Supreme Court ruling 2017).

“Plumb, who previously said he only ever walked out of his front door to go to the communal bins, is getting out more these days”

(If he had tried to kidnap Holly, couldn’t she have escaped by walking up the nearest flight of stairs?)

“Essex Police superintendent Tim Tubbs said ‘This was an extremely fast paced investigation”

Fast paced? Tim Tubbs? Reminds me of that joke about the tortoise mugged by a gang of snails.
On the other hand, there is this, just in case you doubted that fat white blokes are a major threat:

Yes that’s the natural reaction – and once the shock wears off the demand for revenge – Israeli style – will get louder and louder . But I suppose it depends on how long the Muslims will attack – sympathisers will look for apparent Israeli ‘atrocities ‘ so that what the Muslims are doing can be justified …. It’s horrifying
And wonder what the effect will be here …

Israel will not wait for any demands of revenge. They will go straight in and kill as many of these terrorists as they can find. Anyone who stands in their way while they do it will be killed as well.

That’s how you deal with these people. And it’s FAR more civilised than how they would deal with you. As we will find when the hostages start losing their heads.

It’s tragic – but it’s up to the people in Palestine to stop it. And I think they support it. Same as how I think a majority of the Muslims who live here support it. Especially with the biased rhetoric they see from the BBC.
