    • BigBrotherCorporation says:

I have darkish skin (darker still after a summer spent outdoors) and a big nose, thanks to a very ‘mixed heritage’, as a result a lot of people assume I’m Italian, Arab, Jewish etc… When I was a kid it resulted in some name calling and bullying, including the monkey noises and the ‘N’-word, until I learnt to stand up for myself and fight back, but I’m not complaining, a lot of the girls seemed to like it, including my wife, back in the day.

There’s far too much whinging going on about ‘racism’ when it’s not really that at all, I bet EVERY bloke was bullied and called names about something at some stage – that’s life, character building, if you will.

Fed, as for being very tall, I’m not, and in my younger days often wished I was a few inches taller, so I could make six foot. But, I’ve had some tall mates, and seen the issues they’ve had with seats on planes, head and leg room in cars, finding clothes that fit etc… and realised it’s actually a blessing to be ‘average sized’.

Then, I mentored a young work placement student some years back who was over six foot eight and skinny as a bean pole. I’ve never met anyone who attracted so much negative attention, literally every other person who met him said “Ooh, you’re a tall one!” (no one ever says “Ooh, you’re a short one!”, or “Ooh, you’re a fat one!” – do they?). Just walking to Greggs in town one lunchtime with him, I witnessed two (short!) squaddies try to pick a fight with him for no reason, other than his height. It was crazy, but he said it happened all the time, especially on nights out. Trying to cheer him up, I said “You’ve got to admit, all the girls like tall guys though?”, “They think they do” he said “until they meet me, then they say “Not THAT tall!”” – I hope life got better for him, he was a genuinely nice kid.

I’ve never understood the attraction of the Beckham pair – they both come from my bit of east londonistan – Dave from Leytonstone and post from Barkingside … and apparently as a kid Davy played for a local team in the field at the bottom of my garden … he was a good footy player – but surely that’s it ?

How have they turned into a brand ? How can they take it in from Netflix and people actually be interested ? I know the very fact I’m writing about them is proof they have something but I excuse myself because of their local origins ….

We have Netflix Fed, mostly because the other options (incl. BBC) seem even worse, but it is shockingly bad, to be honest.

There are SOME good things on it, SOME of the time, but there’s a lot of complete bollox and woke tick boxing, you’re not missing much.

The kids don’t care, they watch what they want on YouTube anyway, and the missus and I like to do other things in the evenings – gardening, cooking, walking the dog, talking, enjoying family meals, playing board games with the kids, knitting (that’s her, not me), and lots of reading of those book things. Who needs TV anyway?

As for the Beckhams, their appeal seems to have totally passed us by, I’ve never been interested in the footy, so I don’t even know him from that. They’re just a couple of a very, very long list of so called ‘celebrities’ we know nothing about and aren’t interested in.

TOADY Watch #1 – Comrade Robinson suffering early dementia?

Nick Robinson, in his twenty minute (not fifteen minutes) interview with Conservative PM kept repeating the Labour Party mantra of ‘thirteen years of Tory misrule’. Way back in 2010, Nick Robinson was still Political Editor of the BBC. He really should know that the Labour Party have been out of government for thirteen years but that the Conservative Party have only governed with a majority for most of eight years. It is a subtle difference but a very real one.

It is a real one and is very revealing that Nick Robinson deliberately obfuscates the truth along Labour Party lines. See the front page of the Daily Mirror, yesterday. Or Nick has, sadly, developed early dementia and forgotten the restrictions placed upon the Conservative Party in a coalition Government with the Liberal Democrats 2010-2015.

TOADY Watch #2 – it ain’t ‘alf cold, Mum

Both Tomasz Shafernaker (and Sara Keith Lucas in the pre-TWatO forecast) have tried to tell me that we are in a warm spell in October 2023. Global Boiling and all that sort of thing. My GCH (Fed, that is Gas Central Heating) thermostat does not agree and fired the system up on 9°C at dawn until I got to it to be a bit more economical. Wamed the bathroom up nicely. Even outside in the sunshine it was chilly but I saw an oldy wearing shorts for a trip to the shops or mailbox mid-morning so it can’t be that cold.

Women’s group boss says she was bitten in racist Tube attack
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-67006539

‘Selma Taha, from Southall Black Sisters, says an altercation began when she and two friends were travelling on a Northern line train on Friday night.’

‘Southall Black Sisters’ – that’s enough to tell me this activist woman is an anti-white racist.

‘When they asked her to move it, Ms Taha claims the woman responded “it’s not my fault you’re lesser than me”.’

Never heard a white person say that in my life. My money says Selma made that up.

‘As the dispute escalated, Ms Taha said, the woman used racist language towards the trio including calling them “slaves”, saying she “doesn’t like black women”, and making monkey noises.’

Again it doesn’t ring true. Nobody insults black people by calling them ‘slaves’ : that’s a totally different agenda topic and my money here says Selma just used an activist buzzword without having the English to know it’s not quite what people would say. And ‘making monkey noises’ also doesn’t make a lot of sense in the context of a confrontation : it’s what children do.

‘The row developed into a physical confrontation with Ms Taha’s friend, she added.’

This is the key to the whole thing – but remarkably low on any detail whatsoever. Something tells me the whitey woman picked on a group of black activists. And we all know what happens then – as it did here.

‘She said passengers spoke out, including a man who had been sitting near the alleged attacker who she claimed “shouted at my friend to take her hands off the woman”.

Ms Taha alleged he did not identify himself as an off-duty detective constable until all the women got off at King’s Cross station.’

So her friend was assaulting the white woman ?.

‘Ms Taha alleged he did not identify himself as an off-duty detective constable until all the women got off at King’s Cross station.

“I was livid, I was furious at him. I was screaming at him and swearing, saying: ‘You let this happen… it’s because of you I was attacked!’,” she said.’.

Southall Black Sisters is a not-for-profit organisation working for “the needs of Black and minoritised women” with aims to “highlight and challenge all forms gender-related violence against women”.

    They are racist activists then.

The group said: “We demand that appropriate action be taken against the assailant and the police officer.”

Sounds like another racist branch of BLM to me. Lucky for them the BBC are right on their side and anything whatsoever they say will be faithfully reported as truth. I suspect this article could have been written very differently if the agenda demanded it.

It would be VERY interesting to see the CCTV of it. I suspect it’s just like that dumb fat black woman in the Muslim shop : the full truth of what happened bears little relation to what the BBC tells us happened. It can be so inconvenient for the agenda sometimes …

I reckon that the international elite must have decided that they no longer have need of a democratic mandate to impose whatever they like upon us. As the Spiked piece says if given the facts , or if they begin to experience the costs and restrictions of NZ , people will reject it out of hand at the ballot box.
Obviously the political leadership know this to be the case so they must have factored in the democratic rejection . They know it’s going to take a lot more than nudging to convince people to vote to be colder , travel less and change their diet.
The only conclusion that can be drawn is that the elite believe that they don’t need majority support for the imposition of net zero , ergo they don’t believe in democracy and we are effectively disenfranchised.
It also follows that they know that sooner or later we will wake up and realise that we have been disenfranchised so they must have a plan to deal with that.

Warmest September in history etc. etc. etc. Quick roll on Harribin!

How they can push this guff when the vast majority of people in this Country would say that September was unusually cooler and wetter than normal escapes me.

Of notice here is that this story was handed to the BBC not by a bunch of senior scientists but by the “Copernicus Climate Change Service” (just about hinted at half way down the BBC story) an EU quango and the clue is in the name!!!!

Then we have the “hurrahs” for Rishi embarking on banning smoking incrementally with age.

Join the dots. First off, how the hell are retailers remotely expected to police this? It will be a total nightmare for them. And how many 25 – 30 year olds will shop for their younger mates? And will police be stopping and frisking youngsters with fags in the street to check their age? The latter meaning less police time spent on real crimes of course.

Secondly, this will be the biggest driver of trafficking illegal tobacco and other drugs from Eastern Europe and South America in history. So the W1 darlings who want to outlaw nasty smoke hanging about will get to see it replaced with the biggest explosion of harder drug use amongst our young and all the crime that goes with it.

This is probably the most stupid election vote catching gesture any political party has ever tried to pull and will be totally unworkable.

This year has been miserably cold and wet, at least in this corner of the UK.

We had a few nice weeks in March, June, and er… September, otherwise it’s been one succession of unseasonally cold, and wet, day after another from the 1st of Jan onwards.

I say that as an allotmenteer who tries to grow vegetables to eat year round, and thus has to keep an eye on the weather. Lots of things died in the hard frosts last winter, lots didn’t grow this year, and lots that did sprout, grew very poorly. None of that was down to heat, or drought, and it all seems to have been down to the cold and wet – lots of seeds and plants failed to germinate, or just rotted in the ground.

Reading the article, although it’s not immediately obvious, the BBC are talking about ‘global’ climate there… presumably they mean the Northern Hemisphere, and selected spots at that? As usual there isn’t enough ‘science’, or even ‘facts’ in that article, and what seems to be a lot of ‘hype’ and a very dubious graph based on limited and poor quality data?

If there is anything to this anthropomorphic global warming hypothesis, the BBC are doing a good job of convincing thinking people it’s all a pack of overhyped nonsense through their hysteria and gross exaggeration.

The “detention centre” will simply be a comfortable quasi-hotel that the migrants can use while they wait for their rubber boat to turn up rather than live in squalor in the undergrowth around Calais. Its very existence will encourage even more immigrants to join the queue to our shores. It will probably come complete with a dedicated office suite especially for the traffickers to take the cash fares.

However the dosh will provide jobs for some more French people as they guide immigrants towards the beaches.

And we will be bloody paying for it. What is the matter with our leaders, have they no actual common sense at all?

The French authorities must be sniggering to themselves over this total bullshit.

We already have handed the French police millions to stop the hordes on the beaches. That worked out well didn’t it?

No doubt there are reasons from the activists which no person with common sense can understand which says we can’t do that.

I’m sure it’s what the French would be doing if the situation was reversed.

Russian strike kills at least 51 in north-east Ukraine
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/67018505

… and here we have another propaganda piece using the deaths of more unfortunate Ukranian civilians who are caught in the crossfire.

By this time, I am 100% certain there was some ligitimate military target where they hit. And as I have said before, the Russians are ruthless and won’t lose any sleep about the civilians as long as they got what they were after.

I don’t trust Zelensky and his government one bit : they WANT headlines like this because support for the war is waning. They would absolutely put something in a village to draw the fire.

Of course the BBC don’t go anywhere including this possibility in the report. The only clue we get is this bit selectively quote by the BBC:

Brown asserts that intentionally directing an attack against civilians or civilian objects “is a war crime.”

‘”Intentionally launching an attack knowing that it would be disproportionate is a war crime,” she adds.’

The first part is irrelevant if there was a valid target. And I’m sure there was.

The second part is what covers intentionally targeting civilians when there is a valid target among them. By specifically mentioning it, it’s clear the speaker knows there was.

As I keep saying, there are no good guys in this war. Not even us. IMHO, the biggest war crime in this war was Biden blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline at the onset of winter – and that went straight under the carpet.
