So what are the lessons for news organisations in this incredibly difficult conflict and how it’s to be reported?

Remploy folk who are skilled professionals and wish to report news objectively rather than push ideological corporate agendas.

And don’t keep employed clearly compromised editorial staff who then infect those under them to a degree that makes your organisation a worryingly powerful laughing stock.

So they found a clearly unsuitable one.

At this point I fell off my chair in a mixture of horror and hysteria.

Can we expect all the other religions who these people think are offended by Christmas to change all their religious names such as dewali, Eid or other miscellaneous religious festivals and dates.

I would bet the only people offended by Christmas are white virtue signalling woke brainwashed thickheads and none of the other religions are in any way offended.

Coming back from Bahrain one time in late November I clearly remember being surprised at a generously sized and decorated nativity scene at the airport.
There were no attempts to ‘rebrand’ it as something else.

Perhaps the FarLeft wokerati should get over there double quick before anyone gets offended.

I’m an atheist and I love Christmas, all the traditions, and the carols, Christmas Mass, the whole works, otherwise it doesn’t mean anything.

When the kids were little we used to have a lovely little nativity scene we set up for them on the mantlepiece. Some might consider that odd, considering my wife and I aren’t practicing Christians, but we wanted the kids to know what Christmas was really about, and that it wasn’t just about a fat man in a red suit bringing them lots of presents!

Click on the link to the Bowes museum Christmas Market:

‘SORRY WE CAN’T FIND THAT PAGE’

Click to museum main page and I can see pictures of:

Mixed race couple with 2 black children
Five people out for an Autmn walk. None are white.
A very pale ginger child : not sure if it’s male or female.

Go to ‘What’s on’ and it’s now ‘The Winter Market’ which is described as the ‘festive event’. And it has a very curious graphic with people who have very small heads. Most of which appear to be very dark colour.

And here’s the story from the Sun:

THEY’VE SLEIGHED SANTA Woke museum who banned word Christmas from festive market has now cancelled Santa
        https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/24538928/woke-museum-now-cancelled-santa/

So it appears to be true.

But can you put the link to where he said anyone was trying to ban Christmas ?. Or were you just lying to fit your agenda again ?. Lies, half-truths and out-of-context quotes seem to be specialities of yours. It’s a consequence of when hate+spite override conscience.

    BBC News Channel
    Monday 16 October 2023

During our continuing coverage of the Israel-Gaza conflict we mentioned some of the pro-Palestinian demonstrations that took place on the weekend of October 14/15. We spoke about “several demonstrations across Britain during which people voiced their backing for Hamas”. We accept that this was poorly phrased and was a misleading description of the demonstrations. Thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters took to the streets across the UK and although there were some arrests there was little evidence of any significant support for Hamas during these demonstrations. We clarified this on air later in the day and apologise for the error.

‘little evidence of any significant’ – that’s double-weasel words.

I am 100% certain that if they actually did any actual journalism and interviewed some of those people, they would have found plenty of support. Not that they would have reported it of course.

So yet again today the disgustingly biased report on Israel/Hamas is stating that there is a shortage of fuel.

Now correct me if I’m wrong, and I’m in my 30th year of driving trucks, but surely as Gaza is so small any of the trucks going in could run around Gaza day in and day out for probably a week or so on the full tank it would enter with before requiring any fuel. So the argument about distribution of aid is utter bollocks. The Gazans or whatever will be able to receive the aid sent. As for the rest i.e. power, as with everything else, ITS NOT OUR PROBLEM!!!

PS. Without BiasedBBC I would probably think I was going mad with the constant stream of negativity against the west and us “Whiteys” being paraded on this country’s so called unbiased media. I thank each and every one of my BiasedBBC brethren! I’m not going mad. Our once great nation is!

“This is the Qassam steel rocket system used by Hamas / Palestine against Israel, it is effectively just a firework made from steel piping. They are about 50 – 90 kgs in weight, and are approx. 2 meters tall.

The fuel they use is a mixture of sugar, and potassium nitrate (fertiliser), it burns for between 5 – 15 seconds, after that gravity does the work.

These rockets have no navigation, GPS, or any other means of finding a target. They are pointed in the direction of large settler communities, towns, and cities. It is a fire and hope strategy, launched from angled steel frames (pictured).

The warhead consists of 10 kg of explosive with a back chamber (behind warhead) full of ball bearings. They have conical spring detonators in the nose piece, which detonates the explosives on impact.

They are indiscriminate weapons that have very limited capacity for structural damage to buildings, most injuries or (rarely) deaths are caused by shrapnel. Most Qassam rockets never hit a target, and up to 10% of them misfire.

These rockets pose very little risk to Israel or its inhabitants, and most are shot down by Iron Dome.

Israel are using the latest most destructive technology man has ever made, all delivered by unassailable combat aircraft.”

Anti-Semitic “Harm” from the BBC and OFCOM

    (1) The Board of Deputies lodged a complaint with the communications regulator, Ofcom, over the BBC’s failure to call Hamas a terrorist group

    (2) BBC refuses to sack BBC staff who described the Hamas mass murder as a “morning of hope”. The BBC puts them on temporary suspension on full pay while the BBC tries to decide whether calling the mass murder, a “morning of hope” constitutes bias.

    (3) OFCOM does not regard anti-Semitism at the BBC as “Harm” but attacks GB News for “Harm” in allowing Jews to complain about “Mass Murder” by Pfizer.

    (4) Ofcom’s online safety supervision director has been temporarily suspended on full pay after anti-Semitic comments were posted on her private Instagram account. Ofcom is investigating its online safety supervision director to see if she caused “Harm” or not.

Holocaust and terrorist denial by the BBC and OFCOM is legal but harmful.

Let us all stop funding UK terrorism!

It would seem Khalid Masood (Westminster Attack 22.03.2017 5 Innocents Killed) was on benefits which comes out of National Insurance payments by the workers of the UK. Thus, it would seem prior to these findings the workers in the UK were unknowingly funding terrorism.

But now we know terrorists operate using welfare benefits it would seem we are knowingly paying terrorists.

Can I suggest that the Government please make sure NI payments by UK workers don’t go into the hands of terrorists by removing the terrorists in the first place. Can you also calculate how much we have/are funded terrorism via welfare benefits by simply getting all known terrorists (left, right, islamic) arrested to-date and those on the watch list and check welfare payments made to them or their immediate family (under various names possibly).

Another example is where imams preaching intolerance such as Anjem Choudary (preached hate 1999-2016) to his hundreds of worshippers (5 times a day, everyday), can all imams be checked if they are on welfare benefits, paid by UK workers, and these payments be stopped immediately. It is the community that needs to fund the imams if they want religious teachings, similar to how the Church of England was funded with donations in the past.

      . . . .

The father-of-four (Anjem Choudary preaching hate 1999-2016) takes home more than £25,000 a year in benefits and lives in a £320,000 house in Leytonstone

      . . .

“…and don’t you worry. It’s coming to a place near you…we cannot have state subsidized preachers…give it up or give it to your deadliest enemy and pay for the rope that will choke you.“

Did I hear this correctly, Conservative MP, Crispin Blunt, has been arrested for rape and released on bail? FFS, they’re falling apart…

To make matters worse, this bloke is my MP. We had quite a lengthy and cordial correspondence during lockdown, with me trying to persuade him to oppose our imprisonment. That worked out well…

I’ve never seen him locally and the only time he has put his head above the parapet was when a fellow Conservative (a Muslim) was convicted and imprisoned for molesting a schoolboy. Crispin was incensed and complained of a miscarriage of justice and Islamophobia. Where have I heard that before?

With this present case, due to Quentin’s particular predilections, I’m guessing the complainant must be a bloke.

I couldn’t give two hoots about his sexual preferences, but he had been married for over two decades and fathered a couple of children, when he “came out.” That’s a bloody long time to be playing for the wrong team…

I also recall that a few years ago he was promoting the use of “poppers” I think they’re called. For the uninitiated these are used by gay chaps to…um, well…I don’t really want to go into that.

@26:00 “In an address to the nation about the looming ground invasion into Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu evoked images of light and dark, promising to save the nation from Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas, which attacked Israel on October 7. “We are the people of light, they are the people of darkness—and light shall triumph over darkness,” Netanyahu said, according to a translation from i24NEWS in Israel. “Our war against Hamas is a test for all of humanity it is a struggle between the axis of evil of Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas, and the axis of freedom and progress.” The comments evoked a controversial tweet that his office posted and then deleted on X, or Twitter, last week after a deadly blast hit a hospital in Gaza. Netanyahu went on: “It is now a time to come together for one purpose to storm ahead to achieve victory in joint with joint forces and a profound belief in justice, a profound belief in the eternity of the Jewish people. We shall realize the prophecy of Isaiah,” he said.”

I love these articles because they lay bare the sheer hypocrisy and double-standards of the Left.

Imagine how racist any kind grouping which is only open to white people would be labelled by the activists at the BBC.

    Instead we get this:

‘Powerful Media’s annual list celebrates people of African, African Caribbean and African American heritage.’

Dear BBC : ‘Powerful Media’ IS RACIST. Just like Getty.

An interesting browse is the list of sponsors at the end. It’s 100% the usual suspects – I’m only disappointed the BBC isn’t on the list. I presume they aren’t allowed to because it’s right up their street.

Once person from the Leftist activist’s selected group of ‘victims’ (where the attacker/abuser is ALWAYS white) and we get protests, vigils, speeches in Parliament and demands from the BBC that the law is changed to ensure it cannot happen again. No matter what the inconvenience or the cost to society or how isolated the original incident is.

Meanwhile BAME teenagers can butcher each other freely on the streets, rape girls and women, murder OAP’s who have just been to the cashpoint outside their free asylum hotel, burn their family members alive and batter women to death in a manner at least as bad as their white counterparts and the whole subject is very quickly dropped with no demands for anything.

This is the racist and sexist discrimination we have to live under today.

It’s got so ridiculous, the extreme Lefties such as maxi are now conditioned to think we are racists for even talking about it.

How do we rid ourselves of this cancer destroying our society from within ?.

2 people stabbed in Prince Regent Lane.

Can’t find any details of the victims. This is a picture of the neighbourhood so I think we can safely imagine what they looked like:

It had a video of a group of males, one of whome was carrying a knife. Amazingly the video has been removed.

The BBC report is – as usual – very brief and basic facts only.

We are living under agenda-based censorship on a massive scale. We genuinely are walking towards a dystopian world and this is how it happens. Gradual and increasing control of what we are allowed to know. This latest protection bill overseen by OFCOM is another step along the way. You can be sure it will be abused by the Left who have tried this kind of things many times throughout history. Always with the eventual same result : mass murder of those who do not conform.

From the DT – a piece about the use of language by the BBC – spoof versions are welcome

    STARTS
The BBC has pledged to attribute claims more clearly after accusations of bias in its coverage of the Israel-Hamas war.

The broadcaster has been criticised for its coverage of the conflict, including its refusal to brand Hamas terrorists and its reporting of the explosion at the Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza.

Executives said some changes would be made to “increase clarity and accuracy”.

Deborah Turness, head of BBC News and Current Affairs, told staff in an open message: “We are putting in place some additional safeguards around how we attribute and describe sources and information in our coverage of this war.”

The executive explained that the attribution of claims will be altered, with the person or party making the claims now coming before the claim itself, so “instead of ‘Hundreds killed, X claims’, we will start ‘X claims hundreds killed’.”

Ms Turness restated the BBC’s position that parties are not to be called terrorists without attribution, and said that the BBC had not banned the use of the word “militant”, but would no longer use it as the default when referring to Hamas.

    Civilian deaths reporting to change
Another key change will be how the BBC reports on civilian deaths in future, in an effort to avoid being accused of bias from either side in the conflict.

Ms Turness wrote: “We also need to think carefully about how we talk about civilian deaths, and how the language we use may, unintentionally, give the impression we view some deaths as more important than others or treat people on either side differently.

“A tweet which said people ‘died’ in Gaza and ‘were killed’ in Israel has been widely used as an example of this. It’s important that we all think carefully about the language we use to avoid creating a false impression.”

The tweaks to the broadcaster’s style come after criticism of its Editorial Guidelines, which prevent journalists from branding Hamas terrorists.

The BBC and other broadcasters’ use of words like “militant” in place of “terrorist” has drawn criticism from figures including the Chief Rabbi and the Prime Minister.ENDS

ps – try not to say

    ‘Evil Jews / Israel ‘

But now we know terrorists operate using welfare benefits it would seem we are knowingly paying terrorists.

Can I suggest that the Government please make sure NI payments by UK workers don’t go into the hands of terrorists by removing the terrorists in the first place.

Sunak turns MPs’ focus on crime and energy prices… at the heart of his final legislative King’s Speech, along with ideas for a football regulator, as he passes what may be the halfway point in his premiership (FT)

Let’s parse that little Briefing item from the FT.

Top Tory arrested over rape and drug allegation (Mirror)

Well, certain MPs’ focus will certainly be on crime. And, as for energy prices (can we really legislate for those?) …

MPs claimed £1m in six years to heat their second homes (Open Democracy); Why we fund certain utility bills… IPSA pays utility bills for the accommodation of non-London MPs when they stay away from home, and for their constituency offices. (Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority)

And speaking of plausible deniability, fake independence and unaccountablity to the voters… from the people who brought you Ofcom, Ofgen and the like… ideas for a football regulator… What’s not to love about yet another bloody Quango busy setting policy and acting as a law unto itself – basically doing MPs’ jobs for them without all that bother of voter accountability?

Now a brief interlude I like to call Dog With A Bone…

Thousands of banned dogs living at home with owners (BBC) – no, not that story… this one…

Bid to rescue 200 Britons from Gaza (Daily Mail) – really? I mean, really?

200 Britons trapped in Gaza plead for help… Sunak promises to do ‘everything we can’ as Border Force sends officials to Egypt (the formerly patriotic Times) – well, while they’re out there the Egyptian border authorities could certainly teach our lot a thing or two about how to secure a border.

Who doesn’t enjoy a witty come back? No, I don’t refer to: Smoking: Prof Sir Chris Whitty backs tobacco phase-out plan (BBC)

    I mean a pithy rejoinder. For example…

End of the world is A.I. Big problem: PM gives speech on AI risk yesterday… PM’s stark warning for humanity… (freebie Metro); One year to avoid catastrophe ahead of next-gen AI (‘i’) – so what are we supposed to do about it? Flatten the AI curve?

For the witty come back cue the jokey, blokey Daily Star chanelling Bianca from Eastenders and her catchphrase repeated screech of Rickaaay!: Rishaaai! ‘Don’t fret over AI’

In Londonistan, Tower Hamlets, 44 Palestinian flags were put up on lampposts along a main road. It was done in a concerted way, using a cherry picker or the like. The council and/or TfL did later remove them. A vox pop of local people, none of English descent nor good English speakers (why are they living here at all ???), felt the flags should have been left there.
