Does it? Well, to the bbc it does, a lot. They have invested massively in trying to dominate it and when Musk interfered crush him. Then expanded Verify to scores to keep futzing about with trivia to distract. All to keep inept pols in line.

      Meanwhile…

Seems worth looking into to clarify?

Or play the system with emotive propaganda BS like the above that few will notice is just that.

    • John Jacob Jingleheimer-Schmidt

After another year change it again.
    • Robby Thompson
    • Stephanus Lennon-McCartney

This will make the BBC worth watching again as they will have to tell us that …

“Robby Thompson, who used to be known as Hubert Blaine Wolfeschlegelsteinhausenbergerdorff and Tommy Robinson whose real name is Stephan Yaxley Lennon” still shall not be named without the “far right” suffix attached.”

It will also keep the Leftwaffe busy on X-Twitter because there are a limited amount of characters available for one tweet.

Hamas unleashed a terrorist attack because they fear nothing more than Israelis and Palestinians living side by side in peace.
To continue down the path of terror, violence, killing, and war is to give Hamas what they seek.
    We can’t do that.

So it can be interesting when they start prioritising. Sopes and gang were excellent at that.

tribalism is a human trait within all human societies, this is a fact

true racism is different, it proposes that some humans are less than human, which allows those that propose it to treat some as animals where killing is not considered murder.

I have been interested in this point for some time. The New Model Army was paid. But I do not know who by. Some say that all wars are banker wars. Were there some outside interests that wanted the kings head chopped off? I do not have any answers to this.

A while back I watched a very interesting conspiracy type film made by a teacher in the UK about a multiple shooter plot to kill JFK. The film was interesting because it firmly put the bankers behind this plot (and the mafia and CIA). The film also covered WW2. I have never been able to find a link to this film again.

Back to your point about our civil war. You were right about the damaged statues and this can be seen outside Peterborough cathedral. One of the officers got laid up for some days and so while there his men went on a wrecking spree of the cathedral. No doubt if the bBC had been around then they would have been in ecstasy.

One thing I’ve noticed over the months is how the BBC use a picture on the main page which is totally agenda-based – but when I go into the article, they are all less extreme and the main-page picture is nowhere to be seen.

Today for the hostage releases we have a picture which is clearly two older Palestinian women, one crying while the other hugs her. We are obviously supposed to think THEY are the ones being reunited with hostages. They are not. They are being reunited with prisoners who have to be released in exchange for hostages THEIR people took. And amazingly this warped view disappears completely if you go into the article. Meaning there is no record of it once the headline changes.

The BBC are clearly trying to infer equivalence between the prisoners and the hostages. The prisoners are NOT hostages. They were caught in specific places and specific circumstances. They were not abducted while the rest of their family were murdered.

I saw the video of them being released on the bus the other day : they are young members (or at the very least strong supporters) of Hamas.

This is just one of the many drip-drip-drip techniques the BBC use to try and gradually pull the opinion of the reader over to what the BBC want.

They say things like ‘arrested for throwing stones’ as if it was a trivial thing by children.

It’s where they were throwing them, who they were throwing them at and the circumstances in which they were throwing them which the BBC never mention.

They don’t mention the others of course – who are just terrorists.

By ‘othering’ a person as these two people did in this interview, they failed to understand that this was in itself a kind of racism.

These two could try living in Luton for a few years and walk the streets wearing a kippah. With this experience they may gain some insight. It would not be a Christian, or a Hindu, or a Buddhist, or a Sikh, or a Rastafarian who attacked them.

Here’s a good one . I turned on and meesh has interviewing a Hamas spokeslady. It was about the Palestinians being released from Israeli prisoners . Meesh called them ‘teenagers ‘ the terrorist spokeslady said ‘please call them children ‘- nice one .
I kept listening . What ? The lady isn’t a Hamas terrorist spokeslady – she is from ‘amnesty international ‘ – which is a charity specialising in supporting terrorists .

At the end meesh did the ‘balance ‘ thing where the Israeli government described these people as ‘ Palestinian militants’….
I don’t think Israel would call ‘terrorists ‘ ‘militants ‘ and I think the BBC deliberately changed the word …. Censored terrorists into ‘militants ‘ again ….. don’t pay for That …please

They phone canvassed me for extra money to fight “global warming” and after a 5 minute walk through their then claims which the canvasser agreed were ill considered, specious and trivially debunked – I like to think that she stopped volunteering.

The soi boi on the Moaning Emole keeps things firmly away from how these folk came to be hostages.

“ Israel-Hamas truce enters ‘final day’ – so what happens next?

Emotional and physical scars of those who’ve been held hostage by Hamas for weeks are showing as they emerge from captivity. Twelve more people were released from Gaza last night, while Israel has freed 30 more Palestinian prisoners, with some of those held in Israeli jails alleging mistreatment. This is the sixth – and possible final – day of the truce that has allowed those exchanges. So what can we expect now? Our Middle East correspondent Hugo Bachega says that both Israel and Hamas want to extend this break in the fighting. Talks are intensifying in a bid to make that happen. But remember: Israel says that when this process is over it will resume its operation in Gaza with “full force”.”

But remember, ‘children’ can kill. Biblically ©️Goliath

BBC phrase of the day plus another media skimpy outfit edition

Your BBC online news phrase of the day is ‘tell of

Rescued Indian workers tell of yoga and phone games (BBC)

Hamas captives tell of fear, squalor and hunger (BBC)

The 41 Indian workers rescued from a tunnel in Uttarakhand state after being trapped inside for 17 days are safe and recuperating in hospital.

Stories emerging from those freed from Gaza – mostly through their relatives – paint a picture of weeks spent in squalor, uncertainty and fear.

Mostly through their relatives…? Always the reference to some dubious attribution providing the element of doubt, eh?

Of course only one of these incarcerations from which victims have been freed was accidental rather than pre-planned.

The formerly patriotic Times lives up to Mr AsI’s characterisation of that paper’s editorial line by siding with Johnny foreigner: Greeks accuse PM of losing his head in row over Elgin Marbles

Come on Times, why not go the whole lefty tabloid hog and employ the glaringly obvious Rishi losing his marbles pun?

Rishi’s lost his marbles – thank you Daily Star – someone had to do it.

The BBC house-style book sadly closes this possibly mental illness shaming avenue of humour with a typical redefinition of terms: Greece denies promising not to raise Parthenon Sculptures on UK visit… Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has again called for the return of the Elgin Marbles… Also known as the Parthenon Sculptures (BBC) – I think that’s a heavy hint as to where our BBC would prefer to envisage their relocation. And if they can teach the media class to use that terminology, I’m sure eventually they can make it so.

The pound shop junior Guardian that is the ‘i’ newspaper promises a quick primer in what right-on young lefties ought to think about the issue: A quick history lesson for Elgin Marbles campaigners (‘i’)

I’ll make a bet with you dear readers hereabouts – within a short period the left-leaning ‘i’ will refer in its headlines to the Parthenon Sculptures – call that a hostage to fortune.

Once upon a time, children, there was a time when our liberal media railed at the threat to democracy resulting from too much money in US politics. You could buy an election – that was the charge.

Since Donald Trump – orange man bad – not so much…

The Financial Times turns positively tumescent at the thought of a mainstream-minded Republican (a woman, no less) to represent our elites as a rival to populist The Donald: Koch backing boosts Haley… influencial billionaire Charles Koch… Haley, a former ambassador to the UN, as she attempts to challenge Donald Trump, the clear Republican frontrunner… Haley… has swayed big donors

Rishi Sunak writes off the northern Red Wall and instead attempts to pander to the comfortable soft liberal-minded southern voters: Sunak to force public consultations on tree felling in new green drive (Telegraph); England to get new national park as part of nature plan (BBC) – guess where? Not in the north, mind you: Natural England will consider a list of possible sites, which could include the Chilterns, the Cotswolds and Dorset. (BBC) – David Cameron’s price for coming back into Rishi’s cabinet?

‘The house is slightly falling down’: Inside David and Samantha Cameron’s £1.5m Cotswolds home… The couple have owned the Cotswolds cottage for 16 years and Samantha Cameron says it’s “slightly falling down”… The sprawling honey-coloured stone ‘cottage’ covered with climbing roses is set in the the idyllic Cotswolds countryside. (Evening Standard, August 2017) – no massive new housing estates concreting over the countryside so as to cope with our hyper-immigration in the Cotswolds then?

TV royalty is threatened by a serious and unpleasant accusation…

Chris Packham blasts Ant and Dec over ‘Animal Abuse’ (Daily Star)

    Talking of Royalty…

The saucy tabloid Sun… and the sleepy home counties Telegraph, each delight in an excuse to reprint: The young Kate middleton, played by Meg Bellamy, in the final series of The Crown, attracts attention… modelling a skimpy outfit at a charity fashion show during the students’ time at St Andrews University (Telegraph); Crown’s Kate walk copycat… Double take… Meg Bellamy in series… Sheer class… student Kate in 2002 (The Sun)

Well, they do say the spectacle of monarchy unites us Britons, both lower and upper class.

As far as I know the wet police have still not brought to justice the scum that stabbed Hatun in broad daylight at Speakers Corner in Londonistan. This happened several years ago. This area of the capital probably has more CCTV coverage than anywhere in the world including the fence around Gaza.

If you’re a socialist, and you support Palestine’s struggle for statehood, and you don’t have a strategy to distance yourself from this Hamas apologist crap, you are treading a very dangerous path…

Paul sussed that Labour’s sure thing might be eroding every time Gaza gets a mention?

Above at 6:56am I mentioned the hatey video the organiser of the AntiSemtism march had done against TR
I see the Jewish Chronicle tweeted a clip, got a big blowback
    of 1,200 replies against them

So they controlled that by switching off replies

You do not represent all Jews so to suggest that ‘no one’ wants to march with him is nonsense

Comparing @TRobinsonNewEra to anyone from the National Front is offensive and indicates stupidity.

Believing Tommy was ever far right is as stupid today as believing Arabs deserve another Islamic state with a capital in Jerusalem.

TR quote tweeted the video and got far more likes

Like many posters here I am anti BBC, anti Islamisation, sceptical of climate change predictions and net zero. That makes me far right and unlikely to be welcome at anti semitic demonstrations. Fortunately the police and moslems will turn out in their support. I don’t think the Jewish representatives here in the UK realise how serious their predicament is. Well, good luck to them

Dear smug, self righteous left wing Jew: I find I now have rather less sympathy for your cause than I did before. It is clear that you put pressure on the police to get rid of TR, who was there to support you. He won’t make that mistake again. What a fool.

According to a survey, 72% of 18-24 year olds plan to travel abroad next year.

So…….what what all that about the ‘cost of living crisis’ and the ‘climate crisis’? All those campaigns and demos with lots of young people?

Or is it a case of ‘do as I say, not as I do’?

      “This
      @MetPoliceUK
      response does not hold water.

The streets were empty when the vans were shut down for the second time, and our Chief Executive,
      @GideonFalter
, was physically restrained from speaking to the drivers.

We have seen all too well the fruits of the “work taking place across the Met to tackle hate crime”: demonstrations on our streets and incitement on social media surging, versus the rapid shutting down of our billboards.

If you want to protect Jews, instead of telling us to go home and hide the faces of children kidnapped by a proscribed terrorist organisation whose founding charter calls for our annihilation, try letting us exercise our right to call for their safe return and arrest the protesters breaching the peace and intimidating our people.

That’s how you “tackle hate crime”.

Atlas I just posted the same. Apparently this info is “not part of the inquiry’s terms of reference.”

That’s how to fake an inquiry. How the virus originated, how much of a threat to health it was, whether any existing treatments worked and questions about the safety & efficacy of experimental new biotech are simply irrelevant details. Who Cummings swore at and whether Sadiq Khan felt left out of group chats is the really important stuff.

Wendling thinks the huge numbers of reports of vaccine injuries are likely down to fake entries posted on the system by aggrieved anti-vaxxers.

Any evidence for this and why it’s a likely scenario doesn’t trouble Mike. Blaming fringe people and bot farms is the BBC way of dealing with issues when you lack the capacity for proper research.

The editorial board of the Washington Times swallows anti-vaxxer propaganda about the VAERS reporting system. Do they really think 21,000 Americans have died from Covid vaccines and that VARES reports weren't inflated by anti-vaccine activists? https://t.co/wp70cBbfYr— Mike Wendling (@mwendling) November 27, 2023

Inquiry KC asks if cabinet was sufficiently diverse
The conversation turns to whether or not the cabinet of the day was sufficiently diverse in its outlook when dealing with the pandemic.

Raab acknowledges that it’s hard to make a cabinet a “perfect ecumenical reflection of society”, but stresses that he believes the government at the time was “sensitive to all areas of society”.

But he also says politics is about finding the “right balance”, explaining that “conversation cannot go on endlessly” in politics – and at some point, a team has got to act decisively.
