          Interesting question.
          Queer used to mean strange.
Then it was appropriated by the gay community as a slur by straight people on them. Straight people could thus no longer use the word to mean strange. Being cowed by minorities seems to be the way these days. Pathetic.
But weirdly Queer is now used by gay people ( but only by gays) as a legitimate description of someone like them.

About time we in the majority took our language back. And if the minorities complain we just tell them to go f*** themselves.

As an aside we know quite a few gay folk. The thing is all of them are outwardly totally normal ordinary people. You would not know they are gay. They are happy in their skin, they speak normally, they wear ordinary clothes as per their genetic sex, they almost never refer to being gay and then only in an appropriate context- such as when being asked about their partner. Yet on the BBC, all their featured gay buddies seem to be effected. They wear weird clothes, they speak strangely, they act strangely, they like to tell us they are gay as often as possible.

So who precisely do the BBC think they are representing?

A couple of hopeful signs emerged from the Eurovision phantasmagoria, which Switzerland won by the way, Fed. (I knew you secretly wanted to know.) Israel came 5th. The UK was 18th.

Israel didn’t do very well in the jury vote but they did extremely well in the televote. The public in 15 out of 37 countries gave them maximum points. That included the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, and even the host country Sweden. Which suggests that the mass of ordinary people in Europe sympathise with Israel and overwhelmingly reject the stance of those queers in the Malmo Arena audience who, politically as well as sexually confused, booed and jeered at Israel.

The second hopeful sign was that in the televote the UK received ZERO votes. This suggests that the European public (as opposed to the bohemian juries) just don’t want to see simulated homosexual acts as part of what is supposed to be family-friendly musical entertainment. Perhaps future acts will learn a lesson and the pendulum will swing back towards more wholesome presentations.

Zelatek – I’m afraid once programmes like that are infected with ‘queer culture ‘ it just grows … I’m sure the light hearted camp acts which have developed into simulated / actual sodomy are now a ‘much loved tradition ‘ ….

.. when the best thing that could happen would be for the outdated show to be ended now …. Perhaps thd ‘downloads ‘ of the winning act might provide a clue about giving up on it …

Trump trial fans show up for ‘spectacle’ and ‘to witness history’
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-68991796

Absolutely classic dirty BBC ‘fun’ article to insidiously push an agenda from ‘Madeline Halpert’ – the ‘reporter’ who was on anti-depressants from age 17 and has found a home with the BBC.

This is one where they interview members of the public then select which ones they want to tell us about. Plus of course they can edit what the people say (or even make it up) because non of it is provable – and the BBC love that.

These are the three main ones they chose:

    _133297687_comp_3_trump_trial.jpg.webp

You guessed it : 2 are anti-Trump, one is pro-Trump. Standard BBC ‘balance’ in favour of the house.

‘Carrying memes depicting Mr Trump in prison while sitting in a foldable chair for the hours-long wait, Mr Waldbaum said the trial itself was the punishment for the former president.’

So fake pictures are ‘memes’ when lefties do it are they Madeline ?.

The other Trump hater is another one on the extreme who is carrying a Trump puppet she made from a sock.

    Madeline tells us:
‘On the other side of the political aisle was Rose Brennan, who carried a puppet resembling Mr Trump nicknamed “Donald J Puppet”.
That puppet resembles Trump does it Madeline ?. It looks more like something intended to insult and degrade to me.

‘It comes with her to women’s marches and other protests.’
‘Rose Brennan has brought her Trump puppet to many events’

So Madeline has selected the two most extreme anti-Trump people she could find.

She tells us this about the pro-Trumper:
‘”Some people were telling me that there was some inappropriate things being discussed. But I absolutely did not come for that,” said Mr Munkis, a supporter of Mr Trump who believes the trial is “a joke”.’
Why on Earth would you choose that as a quote to sum up why he is there ?. She is clearly trying to infer he is some kind of pervert who came all that way to hear dirty talk.

It’s totally worthless, gutter level stuff. But that’s all people like this BBC idiot can do. You can sense the nastiness and hate between the lines in what she writes. No wonder she was on medication at 17. I bet she still is.

The history being made here BBC is when the Democrats turned to blatant corrupt political persecution of their enemies just like their Nazi and fascist predecessors did. Everybody knows what it is. Those who support it are pretending it’s all fine because they are ethically barren liars.

Rishi Sunak to promise ‘bold ideas’ in pre-election pitch
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-69000303

I noticed how quick the BBC were to quote Labour in this article to pull down everything Sunak said – so I opened up the old ‘notepad’ app and I copied everything which was supportive of Sunak into one window and everything negative into another.

I found 368 words in favour of the Conservatives and 203 in favour of Labour.

So then I searched for speech by Starmer and found this one of a similar length:
Keir Starmer vows to scrap Rwanda asylum scheme ‘straight away’
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68984778

    Same author involved (Sam Francis).

So I did the same again. And this time I found 510 in favour of Labour and just 58 in favour of the Tories.

This is exactly how the BBC peddle their bias without it being blatant.

Eurovision: What does the UK have to do to win?
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cxx8z05058eo

Possibly the most extreme example of a total lack of self-awareness I have witnessed in my life.

The complete bellend Mark Savage mentions the reason why, but in completely the wrong context:

‘Instead, the BBC sent a little-known TikTok singer called Sam Ryder, with a power ballad called Spaceman.’.

Wiki tells me that acts had to compete to be selected until 2010 when the BBC decided they would choose the acts themselves and the public had no voice in it any longer.

If ever you need an example of how the BBC are now living completely in their own bubble, this is it. Somewhat similar to the earlier Nazi did in his bunker. It’s everybodies fault except theirs.

While reading about this farce, I see the MSM are making a huge thing about how many people watched it:

    Mirror:
‘BBC loses millions of Eurovision viewers amid worldwide boycott as figures revealed’
    Guardian:
Eurovision loses almost a quarter of UK viewers compared with 2023
‘Eurovision lost almost a quarter of its UK viewers compared with last year’s Liverpool extravaganza, amid a row over Israel’s participation.’

So we are being told directly that the viewing figures dropped because of protests against Israel.
    Express:
‘BBC Eurovision viewing figures unveiled as millions ‘snub’ final amid boycott’
    Yahoo:
Eurovision viewing figures revealed with BBC dealt crushing blow as millions snub final

What these liars are hiding is that 2023 was the highest viewing figures ever – because it was from the UK. We are then told it was 8.9 million in 2022. That was the great ‘Stand with Ukraine’ year where the political corruption of the show was laid bare.

But the last ‘normal’ year – 2021 – was 7.4 million. It was 7.6 million this year.

So all these claims are left-wing propaganda lies. And the same headline is on lots of websites – EXACTLY what the BBC’s ‘TNI’ is all about.

When Sunak said the UK ‘stands at a crossroads’ I agree with him. But not for his reasons why.

Just listening to bits of the BBC Radio 2 coverage of Eurovision and the two gay presenters they chose to replace Ken Bruce are basically unbearable. They are like excited children with all the appropriate comments like ‘wow’ in reponse to the main hosts and their bizarre European humour.

But what really caught my attention was the Israel song:
Before it played, ‘Rylan’ made a point of making sure we were aware of the controversy of the inclusion of Israel. And it sounded slightly different – as if the BBC had edited it in later.
I then heard the song. I didn’t hear any boos at all, just cheering.
Rylan came back and his first words were:
‘Mixed reaction in the room as you may have been able to hear here in the audience in Malmo some people giving their opinion on world events : there was a little bit of booing.’
Now I don’t believe this sycophant presenter decided to make overt politicial comments like that himself. I am 100% certain he was told to say it to make sure everybody knew.

For some reason I stumbled across the overnight viewing figures for the new gay, black Dr Who and his transsexual assistant (or at least that was what I last heard).

Is the BBC working hard with taxpayers money to produce programs people want to watch – or are they saying f*ck you to the public and spending it all on pushing their political agenda ?.

    Heres a clue:
David Tenant average overnight figures: 7.6 million.
    Matt Smith: 6.14 million.
    Even Jodie Whittaker: 4.8 million.

New gay black Dr Who episode 1: 2.6m
New gay black Dr Who episode 2: 2.4m

I’ve noticed everyone in the MSM seems to be keeping VERY quiet about it.

Must have taken that pathetic bBBC reporter all of two seconds to write that. It is a fact that obesity causes masses of health problems. Known for years except it is only in recent years the average thick moron can eat what they like with no regard for health. Years back folk were too poor to stuff themselves with junk food.

On GBNews last night, the resident ecocentric global warming fanatic Jim Dale was featured. His big idea is to ban any discussion that disputes the Man Made Global Warming agenda.

I feel sorry for Dale in a way. His conviction of his own rightness and the way he presents himself would indicate to me that he is mentally ill.
Some years ago I lived in the same small town as Jeff Gazzard another eco warrior. He became nationally known during his anti Manchester Airport second runway campaign during the 1980/90’s. He was regularly featured on BBC Radio 5 Live for his eco, anti air travel input. He has smoothly moved over to being an active MMGW fanatic. I would assess his character to being very similar to Jim Dale’s, they are right and that’s that. Jeff Gazzard was convicted of assault during a pub quiz in Knutsford many years ago which confirms my view of the personality of these eco loons.

Here’s an international story which is not getting much coverage in the media, and it’s possibly because it’s quite complex.

The US is losing control and influence in the Middle East. Aside from Israel its main ally is Saudi Arabia, but they have been moving away from the US and are destroying the petro Dollar hegemony.

Blinken is in desperate negotiations to keep Saudi on side, but MBS is no dummy and is demanding some pretty extreme conditions the UK is not able to directly give them.

One demand concens an agreement similar to that the US gave to Bahrain, similar to NATO, but without joining anything formal. Access to AI technology and assistance in developing it.

But they are also demanding a two state solution for Palestine and Gaza as a precondition to any negotiation.

Talk about the horns of a dilema, on the one hand forcing Israel into something its politicians absolutely don’t want, and as a last resort abandoning them until they come round to doing what the US wants.

    Or

Destroying the US, it’s economy, it’s standard of living, its security, it’s wealth, everything
Oh and your name going down in history as the one who could have held onto some prosperity but put Israel first!

No wonder it’s not in the media!

What western cultural heritage is the BBC scrabbling around trying to undermine this week? Spin the wheel… and… it’s Yosemite’s deep and rich Chinese history, which has been suppressed. Because America is racist.

“In fact, Chinese immigrants have long been part of Yosemite’s story, from building large parts of the park’s early infrastructure to running the kitchen and laundry services at the park’s 1856-built Victorian-style Wawona Hotel. Yet, their contributions have remained ignored.”

Writer Rachel Chang says “Yosemite’s Chinese American history has likely been buried because of the nation’s long history of anti-Asian sentiment and discrimination.”

Once again an entire nation is completely wrong about it’s cultural legacy and we need the BBC to tell us. El Capitan was actually hand built by immigrants using granite they brought over from China in suitcases. Why, Yosemite is as American as apple dumpling soup.

Here is a video with economics professor Stephanie Kelton, who is talking about Modern Monetary Theory.

Explanations of MMT are pretty rare and critique rarer still. The theory is bats**t crazy, but it tells left wing politician exactly what they want to hear, that governments can carry on spending however they wish, and that defecits don’t matter.

So of what interest is it to anyone here? Well no one else is going to tell you about it, and this is the economic theory the US administration has chosen to follow. Probably the UK too.

Have a listen and see what you think – don’t mistake this for Keyensian economics, it is not the same at all.

And here’s another the BBC is going to be reluctant to report on, that Trumpleads Biden in 5 key swing states. Reproduced from the Telegraph (paywalled)

Donald Trump is leading Joe Biden in five battleground states that could decide the US election, as young, black and Latino voters desert the Democrats.

A new poll shows Mr Trump ahead of the US president in Michigan, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia and Pennsylvania, while Mr Biden leads in Wisconsin.

The states are among the battleground areas that are likely to decide a close election, with national polls putting the two men almost neck-and-neck less than six months before polling day on Nov 5.

The poll, conducted by Siena College for The New York Times, suggests Mr Biden is struggling to retain voters who supported him at the last election. All six of the states surveyed voted for him in 2020.

The demographic groups where support for the Democrats is falling include young liberals and American Muslims, who are thought to have been discouraged by Mr Biden’s support for Israel during the war in Gaza.

Some Latino voters, who historically skew towards the Democrats, are also abandoning Mr Biden’s campaign in favour of Mr Trump’s.

The results of the poll show Mr Trump is leading by 10 points in Georgia – the closest state in the 2020 election, where Mr Biden won by just 0.2 percentage points.

Mr Trump’s lead comes despite his criminal trial in New York, where he is fighting charges that he falsified business records to disguise a “hush money” payment to Stormy Daniels, an adult actress.

On Saturday, The Telegraph’s own poll of the US swing states found that support for Mr Trump in several battlegrounds would increase if he was found guilty.

Monday’s Siena poll also shows a challenge for the Republican nominee on the issue of abortion, where voters are more aligned with the Democrat position of providing greater access to terminations for pregnant women.

Across the six states polled, almost two thirds of respondents said that abortion should be always or mostly legal, including 44 per cent of Republicans.

Facing calls from key figures in his own party to take a hardline stance on abortion, Mr Trump has defended the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the Roe v. Wade ruling in 2022, and said the rules on abortions should be decided by individual states.

Democrats are thought to be concerned about the impact of the war in Gaza on Mr Biden’s ratings, after weeks of demonstrations against the Israeli government from young liberal voters and Muslim Americans.

Mr Biden has paused some weapons shipments to Israel, but insists that the White House’s support for Israeli security is “iron clad”. He is facing opposition to that stance from some Americans who say the humanitarian cost of the war has been too high.

The latest poll found that about 13 per cent of 2020 Biden voters say they do not intend to support him again because of his foreign policy in the Middle East.

Strategists in both main parties previously told Axios, a news website, that they expect the result of the presidential election to be decided by about six per cent of voters in six states.

Mr Trump celebrated the results of the poll at his trial on Monday morning.

Speaking outside the Manhattan courthouse, he said: “The New York Times just came out with a poll that shows us leading everywhere by a lot.

“This is a cover story, and I think you all will find it very interesting. I’m sure you’ve all read it. Leading in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, Georgia and Nevada. Nevada we’re leading actually by 12 points, which is generally a Democratic state.”
