Ohhh the tears! …The utter devastation, …the uncontrollable anguish of this unbearable outcome.- …The thought of all those wonderful ‘stars’ and ‘celebrities’ now leaving their country. How can we be unburdened by what as been?

It’s very rare that I can say this, – but it’s really been an absolutely joyous morning reading the headlines and watching and news reports from he UK’s bBBC, ITV, Sky News etc.. with their horrified retorts and their bitter disappointment.

    Go Trump MAGA!!!

The first documented case of a woman using the Sarco “suicide pod” in Switzerland has taken a new turn. An autopsy reportedly found strangulation marks on her neck, sparking speculations about her death. This has led to questions about a possible equipment malfunction or interference, according to the Dutch newspaper de Volkskrant.

TOADY Watch #1 – oh! and are the BBC noses put out of joint!

A Trump victory is worth it just for that. I don’t really warm to the guy as he isn’t as smooth as Bush Senior nor Ronnie Reagan or as definitely Christian as Jimmy Carter. Trump supports Christians and is a friend to Israel. Apparently Kamala (rhymes with ‘Pamela’) Harris said some really bad things about Christianity and Christians recently. I need to verify that so don’t take it as true becuase it came from a friend of a friend at church.

But I do like the fact that Socialists, like the BBC, are going to have to suck up the fact of four more years of Donald Trump. 🙂 I guess the BBC will spend the next four years telling me DJT cannot run again.

I seem to recall a distant memory of the BBC and others bemoaning that Obama couldn’t stand again.

Even suggesting rule changes because of his popularity.

I wonder if they’ll do the same for Trump?

LC, DJT – if he wins control of the three house of State in the USA – could legislate the two terms only out of existence but I don’t think Trump will do that. He will be 84 when he finishes his next term and if still fit and active will be entitled to put his feet up after enjoying a round of golf somewhere.

@Up2 – We don’t need “smooth”. Smooth got us into the mess where we are.
We need rough, rough as hell, a scrapper, and slightly mad to take on the huge demonic forces lined up against him.
And Trump is just the man.

vlad, bad choice of word on my part. ‘Statesmanlike’ would be better. You have to think that back in 2015/2016/2017 the Dictator running North Korea was testing missiles like billyho and then threatening to launch one or more at the West Coast of the USA. DJT went to NK and as a businessman charmed Kim Jong Un and then got him to meet the President/Premier of S. Korea. That is sort of ‘statesmanlike’ but comes from DJT being a businessman. War is generally bad for business.

I still think President-Elect Donald Trump is not in the same category as Bush Senior and Ronnie Reagon.

However I take on board what you think. Only time will tell.

        ADDENDUM
How can DJT get the bias out of the US and British MSM?

@Up2 – Perhaps you’re referring to Kamala’s insulting remarks to some Christians that they’d “come to the wrong rally”.

Not to mention her fanatically pro-abortion stance.

I know it was on Channel 4, but it was glorious to see Maitlis kicked off her own show for swearing (at Trump’s victory).

It just goes to show the sort that the ‘unbiased’ BBC employ on their political programmes.

Amazing that Trump managed to win with the media vehemently against him. And the assassination attempts, of course.

Oh. And I hope Trump sues James O’Shithead for calling him a rapist.

Bring on the meltdowns. Enjoyed that MNBC bint’s tantrum.

PM questions- Kemi Badenoch has congratulated Pr Trump and…… asked if Lammy has taken an oppourtunity to apologise to Trump for his former “derogatory and scatological references”. She quoted some of Lammy’s language and asked TTK if Lammy has not apologised, will the PM do so on his behalf?

Staliner did the shuffle, leaving the question unanswered. Badenoch was assertive and pressed the issue again. This was good because she didn’t let it drop. He still avoided giving an answer but Lammy sat there squirming & embarrassed. He can avoid reading social-media posts and ignore the public’s viewpoint but she confronted him face to face.

If I saw her, I would thank her for doing so.

Apologies to AsISeeit, the following is a frank summary via the Mail of the media bias, unprofessionalism and unrestrained fury last night:

Paywalled so annotated below for all to ENJOY !!

“Susanna Reid wore the very face of thunder – while on Channel 4 it was the Meltdown Maitlis Show.

Broadcasters on both sides of the Atlantic accepted Donald Trump’s victory with as much grace as cats swallowing paraffin to remove a fur ball.

As it became clear that the former president was romping to victory their tone soured from initial confidence in a Democrat win to one of pouting petulance. We had more moues than a dairy farmyard.
ITV’s Susanna Reid, normally such a shiny sausage, wore the very face of thunder. Her co-presenter Ed Balls got into a spat with Hollywood Trump supporter Rob Schneider, who returned fire with gusto.
Mr Schneider said he had heard some anti-Trump off-mike banter between the Good Morning Britain duo. ‘For goodness’ sake, Rob, move on,’ said an embarrassed Balls. Mr Schneider: ‘You guys move on! He has a mandate.’

Over at Channel 4 it was the ‘Meltdown Maitlis Show’. Election-night coverage there was being fronted by Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Emily Maitlis but little Krishnan was soon on his own after a distraught Maitlis had to be shown to a padded cell and given soothing medicaments.
Guru-Murthy was forced to tell his co-presenter to ‘stop swearing’.
In earlier exchanges, when a Harris win was still on the cards, Maitlis had tossed her mane from side to side and become decidedly dismissive of former prime minister Boris Johnson, who defended Mr Trump and called him a friend. Maitlis’s eyes boinged out on springs at that.
‘When did you last speak to Donald Trump?’ asked Guru-Murthy, in the tone of a barrister asking an accomplice when he last saw a murder suspect. When Mr Johnson said he would happily leave his daughter in the same room as Mr Trump, Maitlis and Guru-Murthy gasped.
Sean Spicer, a former Trump White House spokesman, was asked for his views but before he could say much he was interrupted and accused of factual inaccuracies by Maitlis. Mr Spicer stood for no nonsense and told her: ‘You’re lying. It’s you that just lied to the viewers.’

Meanwhile the US election map was turning Republican red and MSNBC commentator Joy Reid snapped that Trump would bring in ‘extremist, Right-wing, fascist-type government’. The F-word was everywhere. Even nice Tom Bradby on ITV used it.

Even spikier language was used by Cardi B, a celebrity rap musician who had starred at one of Kamala Harris’s closing campaign rallies. When one of her social-media followers enquired if she would be attending Mr Trump’s presidential inauguration, Ms B replied: ‘I swear to God I’m gonna f*** you up, get away from me! I’m sick of you! Burn your f***ing hats motherf***er’.

This was the same Cardi B who before voting day had reacted crossly to opinion polls that suggested Ms Harris was trailing in certain southern states. ‘This,’ she averred, ‘is why some of y’all states be getting hurricanes.’ The video remark was later deleted but it may be harder to remove the acidic taste it left.
In the land of podcast self-styled grandees, Alastair Campbell and Rory Stewart went rigid – backs as stiff as broomsticks – as the results swung Mr Trump’s way.

Both men had been full of pro-Kamala confidence on social media earlier, Mr Stewart attacking proper media stars such as Andrew Neil and claiming that they were talking up Mr Trump’s chances simply to create suspense.
So confident was Remainer Rory that he bet a substantial sum on a Harris victory and said he would have made it £100,000 had he been allowed. Bang goes the advance for his next book.
While Messrs Campbell and Stewart resembled Statler and Waldorf from the Muppet Show, the grief was more restrained, though still palpable, at the BBC.

Co-host John Kay was doing a lot of blinking behind his Harold Lloyd spectacles and after Mr Trump’s victory speech there was a discussion not of the future but of the president’s numerous past faults.
Kay’s co-anchor Sumi Somaskanda looked as if she had swallowed an iffy sardine. Caitriona Perry may have worn a blinding yellow dress but her manner was anything but sunny.

On the notoriously anti-Trump CNN each new Republican advance win was met with flexed jaws and a faint hint of disappointment. Jake Tapper looked fit to kick the nearest waste paper bin. Some claimed to have spotted tears in the eyes of political analyst Van Jones but it was hard to be sure, there was so much smoke rising from his grinding teeth.

And in the la-la world of X, formerly Twitter, electoral sage and sometime television star Carol Vorderman greeted the new Trumpian dawn by ranting about ‘Right-wing hatred’ and predicting economic disaster for Britain.

Only hours earlier the same Mystic Meg had been confidently predicting a Harris landslide and a prison sentence for Mr Trump. You had to be an idiot – or the now impoverished Rory Stewart – to believe her.”

Maybe Lammy and his mob including Khan can be banned from travelling to the US as potential insurrectionists with their language about a democratically elected president.

And, of course, a personal insult to all who voted Republican surely, which is the vast majority of the USA.

I recommend watching Times radio programme hosted by Rifkind with Max Hastings and Sarah Churchill on why Trump got elected. It’s hilarious, brilliantly funny.
Basically they are bewildered, grasping at straws, blaming the American voters for choosing Trump because Harris was so much better. Max thinks Trump is a freak show and highly dangerous and surrounded by mad people.

It’s quite extraordinary that Hastings ,once a respected historian , has gone so nutty and use such outrageous , condescending , and demeaning language.Sarah Churchill almost foams at the mouth.

But the clincher is, they think, that the voters were fed a diet of misinformation by the Trump campaign. So we expect that there will be endless claims to censor social media. They understand that they , the Globalists, have lost control of the public square and that if they allow this continue and for the truth to come out and be public knowledge, the public will rapidly turn their backs on Globalism.
Time is running out for the Globalists.

Erm, sorry we meant Stop the Wars except in Ukraine and any muslim genocide in Yemen or HAMAs or Iranian attacks, apart from all that, oh and Nigerian muslims bombing Christians, oh, and in Ethiopia, apart from that… Stop the War !!!

Trump, four years no war and a goodwill visit to North Korea, the first ever for a US President, to de escalate tensions.

How thick do you have to be to be part of their little world ?

“Following confirmation that Donald Trump has won the 2024 US presidential election, CND believes that the world is now more dangerous with Trump’s finger on the nuclear button.

Emergency protest outside US Embassy: Wednesday 6th November

Trump’s unpredictable foreign policy, disregard for democracy, and antagonistic stance on nuclear weapons threatens to intensify the dangers posed by nuclear flashpoints in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His last administration oversaw the development of new nuclear weapons and the US withdrawal from critical arms control treaties, including the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty and the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, the groundbreaking nuclear agreement with Iran.

CND is also alarmed by Trump’s ongoing push for NATO members to dramatically increase their military spending, and previously demanding that member states contribute 3% of their GDP to weapons and war. This will only exacerbate global militarisation and distract from the urgent need to reduce nuclear arsenals worldwide.”

One…Trump is indeed more likely to tell China or Russia ‘no’ and if they continue it’ll go bad….a more credible deterrent if they think he actually would press the button. Russia calls our bluff with the nuclear threat all the time and we take the knee and don’t supply the most effective weaponry to Ukraine so that Putin doesn’t get too upset. The West would likely smash Russia [eventually] but the only real winner of a war between Russia and the West would be China

Two…he is well known as a peacenik….doesn’t want to get involved in wars unless absolutely necessary.

BBC irresponsibly and recklessly broadcasting inflammatory anti-police rhetoric that creates distrust and anger towards the police…almost designed to stir up riotous behaviour…maybe Starmer should be locking up Tim Davie alongside those whom he claimed were inciting riots in Southport…..

BBC has long history of ignoring court judgements and the facts when Blacks are found guilty…such as Mark Duggan or Michael Brown in the US….or indeed the fact that the George Floyd cases were basically State lynchings, show trials to appease Blacks…not that it did that as we saw.
