Happy Christmas all. I keep falling asleep watching Wolf Hall. It is worth watching for the lighting of Cromwell’s face, every time a Holbein painting. Timothy Spall as Norfolk has a real Tudor face and obviously enjoys every moment. Tonight I totally missed Henry meeting Ann of Cleves but the arrest of Cromwell came out of nowhere. I have no idea whether the BBC is being true to the book or whether the awful Hilary Mantel, was true to history.
