    I’ve got a great evening lined up…

Nothing from the Beeboid MGBGT dross-shop of course, and forget the boring Charlie Monologue, I’m seeking out a flick like ‘The Great Escape’ on Amazon, with the biggest Negroni I’ve ever made – and the first!

And some smoked salmon with some nice trimmings!

    Happy Christmas Evening everybody!

Sorry it just doesn’t work for me, much as I admire Mr MQueen, a 1968 ford mustang going through barbed wire, think of the scratches, these films, they must think we’re stupid.

That’s a whole afternoon in Halfords paint matching for a start, and I’m talking from bitter experience with a chinese wife who thinks solid white lines on the road are just a casual suggestion.

Still looking for a Honda f’cking blue that matches.

How will they handle the hated trump win ? They ll snigger like kids and then predict his failure ….. for them 2025 will be the sunlit uplands for the Marxist regime crushing Britain …. Criticism is not acceptable ….

Sorry to harp on about the BBC’s new Wolf Hall but I’m another episode in and the ‘diversity’ has stepped up another notch. Black people are absolutely everywhere now.

I almost burst out laughing when a Jail guard who is literally as black as coal and dressed in their fine livery (almost like a Beefeater) is called ‘Martin’.

It’s just ridiculously obvious that the BAME have been shoehorned in after the script was written.

It’s very 1984 – revising history to fix the mad woke present. I got bored with it …. But it did have a happy ending ….

.. someone mentioned a ‘ghost story ‘ full of tick boxes – soon as I see them it’s off switch ….

.. it was good to see Charles Windsor had provided Arabic subtitles for his new ‘people ‘… i was waiting for him to mention the false Islam – maybe next year ….

I have similar feelings in normal life. I go into my bank because a cheque being paid-in has jammed in the paypoint machine. Behind the desk is a massive TV churning out rainbow shite. Never has it occurred to the bank that if they spent less money on the rainbow propaganda they might actually be able to put the money towards more reliable pay-in machines.

Same shite in the library. If it is not BLM month then it is ‘Rainbow Year’.

In a large bookshop chain the Communist Manifesto is on prominent display but no sign of Mein Kampf even though Stalin killed many more than Adolf did.

    So wine is unhealthy?

TOADY Watch #1 – what about the August 1968 Anniversary, in 2018, BBC?

The BBC ‘going big’ on the 20th anniversary of the Boxing Day Tsunami in South-east Asia this morning, but they completely overlooked the fiftieth anniversary of the end to the Prague Spring of Aleksander Dubcek although I guess the Lefty BBC would now describe Dubcek’s Government as being Far Right or Hard Right much as the BBC do with the present Government of Hungary. The Far Left BBC also ignored the fiftieth anniversay of Jan Palach’s self-immolation as a protest against the Russian occupation of what is now the Czech Republic in 2019.

    * Some praise for a BBC R4 Programme this morning*
Before TOADY I listened to a programme about the Continuity Announcers. The BBC at their finest despite reaching their lowest later with TOADY. It was informative, educational and entertaining …. a lot like the BBC of old! Where did that BBC go?

I listened to Radio 4 for 40 years. I was educated by amazing programmes mid-morning. I particularly remember a 30-minute programme on the semi-colon. Fascinating.

Lunchtime brought me news and consumer programmes to inform and advise.

Evening early evening news brought me up-to-date with the days events and led into the amazing week-day 6.30 comedies which had me in tears.

Bedtime, news, current affairs and Sailing By had me nodding off feeling entertained and informed, ready for the next day.

Then, one day, the next day had me, in my car, listening to a lunchtime programme which changed my life. An African lady had applied for a job at a small company which involved a great deal of work with computers and telephones and customer interaction. Unfortunately, she spoke poor English, knew nothing of computers and did not understand the telephone system required for the work. She did not, unsurprisingly, get the job. So, she contacted some “charity” to complain, and a spokeswoman was invited to appear on this consumer programme. “What the employer should have done,” this woman demanded, “was to employ a competent person (the women who actually got the job) on a temporary basis to teach this lady how to do the work, then the (presumably white English) person could be sacked and this person of colour takes over”. Ridiculous of course, what she meant was that a small business was supposed to incur a cost of some £25,000 without any guarantee that the applicant could even do the job, just so an SWJ could feel better. My Damascene moment was that the interviewer did not, at any point, challenge the absurdity of this scenario.

So I began to listen more critically to Radio 4. I quickly noted that Conservative politicians were challenged and interrupted far more than Labour or Liberal (I won’t use LibDem). One mid-day interview I listened to with Jeremy Corben had him being asked a question. The very next words spoken by the interviewer were “Thank you, Mr Corbyn”.

I hear “comedy” current affairs programmes making jokes about Tories but not, despite the open goals of Corbyn, Abbott, Lammy et al, the Labour party or Liberals. Jeremy Hardy even publicly stated he would never joke about socialism and still kept his job. Very “balanced” BBC!

The final straw for me was one Sunday morning on my way to golf I had on the Sunday programme.

“What”, asked a vox pop, “do you think of when you hear the word Devil?”

      The very first answer?

      “Margaret Thatcher”

      Radio 4’s Religious Programme FFS!

I switched off my radio (and submitted a formal complaint – rejected) and have never, after forty years, listened to Radio 4 since.

But if one forces oneself to watch / listen to it – despite the mental state it inflects – one gets better at smelling the propaganda message .

The coming 4 years of Marxist love and `trump hate’ will more than illustration. And many more people will wake up to the evil of the BBC …

Popeye, I think the scales fell from my eyes when Tony Blair became Prime Minister. Every day the Toady programme started the 7am news with, ‘today, the Labour government will…..’. But then it all grew, the use of black actors, then trans people competing on University challenge and Pointless, no nature programme without mentioning Climate Change, Eastern European dancers on Strictly then disabled ones, the wheelchair user in Countryfile having been carried up a mountain (presumably as no wheelchair could easily be pushed up the muddy and rocky path) and then interviewing someone 6ft tall so the camera couldn’t fit them both in the picture. From small hints of what was to come followed the ridiculous situation we have now.

I think it was Craig who used to post here (but can be corrected) who wrote about bias by omission. This is so obvious in for example how the attack in Magdeburg was so quickly dropped. I have no idea if the car running out of control in London the other night was even reported.

Now the hashest critics of our British way of life tend to reside very much closer to home versus an erratic jumble of things that are supposedly better about the UK edition

Just as a failing at home prime minister will tend to clock up the air miles in his efforts on making multiple overseas trips – so it is noticeable that the more liberal, metropolitan and right-on a media outlet happens to be the more its news focus turns abroad.

When you or I, dear reader, think of Boxing Day, we may conjure images of cold turkey sandwiches, sports fixtures and nowadays – retail sales.

Whereas, for our BBC/Guardianista class, it’s: ‘We’d just left harbour when the Boxing Day tsunami hit’ A BBC reporter looks back on the day in 2004 when the tsunami hit while she was on the Andaman and Nicobar islands… Twenty years on: ‘My boat was metres from the shore when the tsunami hit’ (Geeta Pandey, BBC News, Delhi – top headline report on the BBC online news page this morning)

Tsunami, 20 years on A disaster, then some found hope (Rebecca Ratcliffe, Banda Ache, Guardian, frontpage, second top story)

Our rather more parachial, vaguely conservative newspaper titles set their sights somewhat closer to home than Banda Ache or the Andaman and Nicobar islands – not, one reassures readers, British overseas dependencies – otherwise Keir Starmer would have given them away by now.

    To the (bedside) manor born

Charles: My heartfelt gratitude to ‘selfless’ doctors and nurses (Daily Mail) – I’m making wild speculation here but do we reckon the Royal’s experience of medical care might have been just a cut above the average?

King thanks doctors in TV message (Times) – ditto headlines in Telegraph, i news and naturally the top story in the old Labour Mirror – which, despite the monarch going private rather than plebian NHS finds heroism in medics doing their job and probably getting a shiny gong at the end of it: Charles ‘heartfelt’ gratitude to health heroes

So we leave the King no doubt banging his gilded chamber pot this evening for the medics at the gates of his Sandringham estate.

And our common or garden NHS slackers may bask in the reflected glory. Think of busty Carry On nurse Barbara Windsor or bungling junior houseman Jim Dale as Dr Kilmor, taking undue credit for the professionalism of James Robertson Justice, the Windsors very own real life Sir Lancelot Spratt

    All shall have praises

Whereas: King Charles is right to take away Cadbury chocolate’s royal warrant – it’s overrated… As the Birmingham-born chocolate brand loses its royal warrant, Katie Rosseinsky presents the case against this iconic British treat (Independent)

If there’s one advantage to our journalism profession being stuffed with girlies these days – as frontline war correspondents they may not discern the difference between a tank and self-propelled gun or an APC- but they certainly know their chocolate: Cadbury’s products have always been bland and underwhelming. I’ve found they’re either not quite sweet enough, or overwhelmingly so (they quite literally don’t hit the sweet spot). (Katie Rosseinsky, Independent) – calm down dear.

There follows a snidey attack on things British rather akin to subjecting oneself to an episode of Horrible Histories

British people love to bang on about how our chocolate just tastes so much better than the treats on offer in, say, US supermarkets, like we’re channelling the spirit of Hugh Grant’s prime minister in Love Actually when he starts listing an erratic jumble of things that are supposedly better about the UK. But this patting ourselves on the back feels a bit like misplaced nostalgia, the sort of sentiment that is better confined to those Facebook groups where older people reminisce about the days when “proper binmen” roamed the streets. (Katie Rosseinsky, Independent)

“Are they talking about us?” as that superannuated old Fleet Street chap used to remark when he reviewed the foreign papers for us on TV many years ago. Well, now the hashest critics of our British way of life tend to reside very much closer to home.

Talking of nostagia for the classic old British bin man…

The perils of post Christmas recycling (Telegraph); Meet the man who busks from inside a litter bin… Charles Cavey, better to known to locals {sic} as The Singing Binman, has been performing on one of Cambridge’s busiest streets for over 25 years. (BBC) – one of those State Of The Nation stories? – you guessed it, he’s white.

But on the plus side of the ledger: ‘It’s good for everyone’: Chief scout calls for volunteer push… Dwayne Fields was appointed chief scout in September and is one of Today’s guest editors this year (BBC) – Dib Dib Dib! And you guessed it, he’s black.

I’m reminded of Sybil Fawlty berating her husband Basil about his idea of a ideal Englishman resembling a figure such as Robert Baden-Powell

    The Jackson 5 tended to:
Don’t blame it on the sunshine
Don’t blame it on the moonlight
Don’t blame it on the good times
    Blame it on the boogie

Whereas regime-central mouthpiece the Times: Holes in fuselage suggest Russians shot down passenger jet

The anti-family i news are acting the grumpy teenager as usual: How to recover from a drainhg family visit

In their regular Doomwatch feature they title: Environment: UK flooding risk from extreme weather and poor defences (i news)

Which is – more or less – where we came in. Merry Christmas to us everyone!

Palestinian Christians struggle to find hope at Christmas
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cz6l8zgl0dgo

Another BBC article guilty of massive lies-by-omission.

As is usual now, they use a quote from someone else present the BBC’s racist, biased agenda as ‘fact’:

“It’s hard to believe that another Christmas has come upon us and the genocide has not stopped,” Isaac said in his strongly worded sermon. “Decision makers are content to let this continue. To them, Palestinians are dispensable.”

I thought Israels bombs would not be much of an issue at all for the Christians – unless Hamas have taken them hostage. And when you read between the lines of the article, you realise they aren’t. All they suffer from is the general shortages. But the BBC have tried to imply they are being punished as much as the Hamas supporters.

It made me wonder just how many Christians there are in Gaza as I found it odd that the BBC don’t tell us. I found:
1860–1914: Palestinian Christians made up about 11% of the population
1922: Christians made up 9.5% of the population
1946: Christians made up 7.9% of the population
1948: Christians made up around 10% of the population
Today: Christians make up around 1% of the population

    Then I found:
The Persecution of Christians in the Palestinian Authority
    https://www.meforum.org/persecution-of-christians-in-the-palestinian-authority

‘Numbers confirm that Christians living under the Palestinian Authority (PA) are experiencing continual ill-treatment that Muslims do not. In 1947, Christians made up 85% of the population of Bethlehem, an ancient Christian stronghold. By 2016, Christians had declined to only 16% of the population.’

‘The systematic persecution of Christian Arabs living in Palestinian areas is being met with nearly total silence by the international community, human rights activists, the media and NGOs.’

There’s your ‘genocide’ BBC. Why don’t you write about that ?.

No doubt the dead blue party will dispute the membership figures ….it would be a true achievement to get a donation from a donor such as Elon Musk .

But Reform really does need a new approach to getting people to vote for it – on top of being the new ‘real British ‘ party ….. it gets my vote because there is no one else .

The trouble is so many people have been groomed to be woke and self harm on an inflated NHS – foreign aid – Green crap – and open borders ….done by the likes of the BBC …

Yes and can’t wait for my new equality course demanded by my present contract.

Biting lip time, until they talk about racism, I might pipe up there about internal flights in China. getting my suitcase regularly ripped apart, the only one on the flight, and of course my mother running a pub on the west coast of Scotland commonly referred to by customers as “that f?cking English woman.

and the few scuffles I had when visiting, glad to report I always won.

Zephir – to my shame – in a previous life – I had to deliver ‘equality training ‘ to employees . I had to ‘toe the line ‘ because a rep from senior management was always present and basically I had to read a script …. I do feel ashamed having done it – but I’m sure my body language gave away what I really felt …

The audience was very intelligent and realised we were all just getting ‘conditioned ‘ which of course worked exactly contrary to what was intended …

I wish I’d earnt my pay in a more honourable way ….

The antis can’t seem to admit they won. There is no fox hunting, there are just hounds following a scent. As people said at the time, it was not really about fox hunting, it was class war. That’s all there is to it.

And another £70,000 a week for the taxpyer to stump up for their rooms.

I still have not seen any explanation why we can’t just take them back to the beach they set off from. ‘BBC Verify’ tried to convince me – and the best they had was ‘We would have to ask France’s permission first and it would be an act of war if we didn’t’.

They didn’t mention if we ever did ask France’s permission – or what their response was. Neither did they elaborate on how much we pay them to try and stop these crossings.

And they have never been near the fact that if we DID take them straight back, all the crossings would stop as it would not be worth the risk.

Like so many things now, it stinks to high heaven. Everything in the world is steeped in left-wing political agenda.

Not having a ‘woke free’ Xmas at all with the TV this year !.

After the ridiculous black-washing of history in Wolf Hall, I settled down to the new Wallace and Grommit. What can they possibly do to that ?.

Well – in the first 10 minutes, the FEMALE judge put the penguin in prison and the two warders were a white woman and a black woman.

Then Wallace unveiled his robot gnome. When all the neighbours appeared to admire it, we got a black woman from the upstairs window next door and a Pakistani man driving a van.

Then it switched to a police station. The officer who appears and is clearly going to be a main character throughout the film is a gobby (the BBC will think she’s strong and independent) BAME woman.

I’m at the point now where if the next scene is similarly coloured-in, it’s going off.

Beyond ridiculous. We must get rid of this racist cancer called the BBC.

Cannot get a signal for GBNews. (Is that a way of controlling viewing figures? ) Switched on BBC1 news and told Israel has made strikes on Yemen, ‘and people had to race for cover’. I expect when Hamas or Hizbollah send rockets into Israel people have to run for cover too. We decided to switch off before Jeremy Bowen was asked for his keen critical opinion (unless he is sleeping off a very good Boxing Day supper.

The most surprising thing about this story is that the drag-obsessed BBC reports the new contestant as a ‘he’…
“Strictly to feature first drag queen competitor”

A mere 24 hours passed before my tweet became obsolete and the BBC queer activists leapt into action, changing all references of ‘he’ and ‘him’ to ‘she’ and ‘her’.
Amazed it lasted as long as it did tbh.
Somone’s head will be on the block at the Beeb for calling a man ‘he’.

Whatever the screaming headlines are on the daily rags or the wireless MSM, a quick shuftie at Joe’s Blog – ‘Icecap’, always rejuvenates the soul!

    http://icecap.us/index.php/go/new-and-cool

I love the time between now and January, and always used to work these three days to enjoy quiet roads, plenty of Christmas Leftovers in our favourite pub, and a leisurely discussion with my boss and others on the way to make our fortunes in the following year!

Really good news needs a bit of searching – I never knew about News sniffer, Debs and Stew, thank you – but a bit of searching like-minded sites soon throws up some good news, and the BBC can easily be consigned to the green bin of wokery, self-admiration and total failure to communicate acceptably!

(Actually, it’s the brown bin for glass and cans today, plus any paper they deign to accept if it’s not glittery…)!
