BBC – “Reform came in third place by share of the vote on 14% but found it difficult to convert votes into seats. The party returned five MPs, including party leader Farage in Clacton.”

See, it was Reform that found it difficult, not the way the ridiculous system worked, so it’s their fault!

BBC, subtle as always but subconsciously getting their message across

‘The origin of the hominines is among the most hotly debated topics in paleoanthropology. The traditional view, ever since Darwin, holds that hominines and hominins originate in Africa, where the earliest hominins are found and where all extant non-human hominines live…..the more likely and more parsimonious interpretation is that hominines evolved over a lengthy period in Europe and dispersed into Africa before 7 Ma.’

Is it not odd that the narrative constantly changes? The problem is it is just that, narrative. Plato said that those who control the narrative control society. It was not a throwaway comment. He was telling you, just as he did with the parable of the cave, that your reality is entirely controlled. They devised Darwinism to make you believe that you are just a monkey. Most modern science is fantasy designed to make you fall for the coming ‘alien’ invasion. The shocking thing is that most people are so lobotomized they will believe it just as they believed the Covaids nonsense.

I know it’s sad but I listened to the 2024 prediction show by the leading BBC journos ( not you huw – paddy – Clive – -Jeremy -sophie ) but the orlas of this world ….

But they had a problem . Because they all believed in the approved truth about Biden being both real president and not demented their whole world view was meaningless .

They also talked about someone called ‘rishi’ and ‘Lord Cameron ‘ as though those losers meant anything .

In short an embarrassing waste of time .

The show for 2025 is on – I think – the 2nd of January . This is what they’ll predict –

    1 president trump will fail
2 president trump will fall out with everyone
3 presidenr trump will ‘love ‘ starmer as though he matters
4 presidenr trump will destroy nato
5 the evil right wing types in uk France Germany Italy Hungary Poland -Scandinavia – Holland – will all fail
6 labour will get popular because they’ll reduced the boats ( by fixing the numbers )

All 6 above will be wrong ….

Completely different – I caught a documentary on something called ‘sky arts ‘ but the adverts reminded me I am living in Africa . Go woke go broke …

Five Gaza journalists killed in Israeli strike

Brief, and factual, and likely so to avoid some context that would have a bearing.

Jill Dando. The BBC TV presenter murdered in 1999.
I stumbled across a couple of conspiracy videos on youtube which speculated that Jill Dando had threatened to expose the BBC Pedophile ring and might have been murdered for that reason. I don’t know if the idea has been posted on here before but after decades of inaction other than jailing the wrong man the conspiracy seems to have the ring of truth. Maybe, apart from being in the BBC and in direct contact with pedophiles. She was in regular contact with the Police due to her presenting Crimewatch, the Police might have privately told her what they knew.
It all seems to make sense to me.

Bracing events on the UK coast edition

Nice once you’re in (Guardian); Waves of support (Times)

Surprisingly, that’s not our pro-hyper immigration media commentary on illegal channel crossings.

Our print press frontpage feature picture stories, which happen to bookend our BBC’s online press line-up, shun the news titbit: More than 450 migrants crossed the English Channel in small boats on Christmas Day, Home Office figures have shown. Data, updated on Thursday, indicated that 451 migrants arrived on 11 boats on Dec 25 (Telegraph)

Instead, the slightly saucy Times pins up, for our entertainment, a full colour photo of women in their santa hats and swimming cossies: Waves of support… Swimmers off the southwest coast of Scotland braved the bracing water to help raise money for Ayrshire Cancer Support with a Boxing Day dip (Times) – they make them lassies tough Bravehearts up there on the Firth of Clyde.

It is a contention of your Mr AsI that the formerly patriotic paper of record, the Times of London, increasingly mimmics the content and style of the formerly Manchester Guardian.

Whereas there is an old adage that great minds think alike…

And so we revisit the chilly Ayrshire ladies – no doubt suffering nipples sticking out like kirk hall hat pegs

Nice once you’re in… Revellers brave the sea off Ayrshire for a charity swim, one of many bracing events on the UK coast yesterday (Guardian)

Photo credits: Jeff J Mitchell/Getty – in both instances.

Never let it be said we’ve suffered a narrowing range of news sources and themes in this country…

Hundreds brave the cold for Boxing Day swims… people dressed in fancy dress have taken the plunge in Devon and Cornwall (BBC) – one hopes former BBC DG Gregory Dyke wasn’t too offended by the photos of these ‘hideously white’ events, nor the more recent BBC guest Coronation commentator Adjoa Andoh surprised at these ‘terribly white’ charitable fund raising stunts.

Speaking of bracing events on the UK coast – sometimes these segueways write themselves…

Tucked away in Scottish news: Fishermen warn industry at risk of being ‘crushed’ (BBC) – I’m sure Getty Images did their best to find some descendant of our Windrush community now working in the Scots fishing fleet – “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” and all that. Sadly, from the BBC’s point of view – as expressed by their former top brass and more recent talking heads – the chap pictured in the trawler wearing the oilskins looks to be a pale and stale Jock.

Now we know Scots seamen can be a dour and gloomy breed – we recall Private Frazer the town undertaker from Dad’s Army

Could our BBC be reporting fishermens’ concerns over what the left-leaning i news excitedly refers to as: Operation Brexit 2.0 UK and EU plot new foreign policy deal

Well, there’s all these issues at stake: The Scottish Fishermen’s Federation (SFF) has announced a series of concerns it says could put the jobs of hundreds of skippers and crew in jeopardy. The organisation said it was concerned about the expansion of offshore wind power, a lack of compensation for the industry and a resetting of relationships with the EU. (BBC)

One had to smile at this new terminology: “But the ‘windrush’ – the planned expansion of offshore wind in our seas – floating offshore wind in particular – going ever-further and faster, is not proving to be a just transition for our fishing industry. (BBC)

Time for a couple of calm down dears…

The ever-excitable Daily Mail is a reliably rich source: The one secret I will never share with my husband? I slept with his brother first

And in political cuckoldry: Badenoch accuses Farage of ‘fakery’ over claims that Reform UK has overtaken Tories (i news)

Another of Mr AsI’s pet contentions is that the Labour party acts not so much as a government as a trades union for the public sector…

Public sector pay premium triples after rises under Starmer (Telegraph)

A new quango every week since Labour victory… Prime Minister accused of red tape bonanza after creating 25 ‘unaccountable’ advisory bodies in just six months (Daily Mail)

The left-leaning Labour-supporting Guardian admires that boomer generation ultimate cultural hero Bob Dylan: Inside the Dylan biopic tipped for an Oscar

Challange accepted – let’s dedicate some Dylan hits to our Labour-branded administration

“Lie Lady Lie” – for our first female – CV-faking misinformation queen – chancellor Rachel from Accounts
“Girl from the North Country” – for Angela Rayner, obviously.
“Blonde on Blonde” – Angela Eagle and her sister Maria (the latter sibling insists she’s ‘the straight one’)
“Blowin’ in the Wind” – Ed Miliband, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change

Fellow travellers hereabouts may wish to take it from here.

In weather reports: Six extra weeks of heat peril this year (Guardian); or alternatively: Gale force UK… US hurricanes to send wild & chilling temps here in new year (Daily Star) – take your pick.

I’m inclined to believe beyond Guardian world it’s gonna be a hard rain & blowin’ in the wind this winter.

And finally, my pick of the football headlines come from the Star’s Seriously Football pullout concerning Man Utd’s dire performance at Molineux: Dunces with Wolves

Well, against my better judgement, I did watch BBCs annual ghost story on Christmas Eve. I’ll never learn, will I…

Anyway, it was (very loosely) based on a cracking little yarn by Edith Nesbitt and didn’t require the ham-fisted wokifying it got from the ghastly Mark Gatiiss and the BBC luvvies. My God, they absolutely ruined it.

Firstly, we had the (oh so surprising) introduction of the Asian doctor…needless to say, he’s not in the original, but I was expecting him. The husband in Mark Gatiss’s awful abortion is a sort of music hall villain; swivel eyed, patronising to his wife, a bully and violently jealous. Of course he’s white, so what else could we expect. But why do they hate white men so much? I mean, Gatiss is also white…even if he is a spiteful old queen…

Fortunately for the mistreated wife, she has an ally in the shape of the good Asian doctor, who she is clearly smitten with. Though to be honest, he’s more Sadiq Khan than Bollywood heartthrob. Oh…and there’s her ever reliable, salt of the earth, housekeeper, who knows all about local folklore and also tells her that “All men are like your husband.” Yes of course, we are…unless we’re Asian doctors

So, congratulation to the BBC, misandry, anti-white racism and the complete destruction of a lovely little story…all in half an hour.

I bet The Guardian loved it…

    • Greencoat says:

      Spot-on, Jeff.
I’ve forgiven Gatiss’ wokery in previous BBC TV ghost stories because it’s been immaterial to the story-line and because there has usually been a compensatory increase in suspense.
But in 2024, as you say, he blew it. Ok, the Asian doctor, in Gatiss-world, just had to be there. But the hysterical pantomime husband would have been laughed out of the place even a century ago. There was no suspense because the ending was telegraphed ahead within the first ten minutes. And giving the story a new and utterly meaningless title was the final, failing flourish.

    • Rob in Cheshire says:

I seem to recall Gatiss was behind the Christmas ghost story last year, set in a 19th century Swedish country house, with a black footman. I turned this one on for a laugh, and the first thing I saw was an Indian in a 19th century English village, so I was able to switch off, knowing that Gatiss had done it again. He’ll never be out of work so long as the BBC exists.

What this is not about is a man who has just died but his brother. His brother is the man who let another man pay for his spectacles.

Just before Xmas, ie just a few days ago, senior Labour officials were leaking the story, that poor Sir Kier, was so exhausted, he needed a holiday. Then probably Xmas eve, the story in the newspapers was that Sir Kier would spend Xmas at Chequers before he and his family (not defined) would go abroad for a holiday. Today the story is that Sir Kier now won’t be going away after all because his brother has just died from cancer. We have never been told where the man with the spectacles had planned to go, nor at whose expense. But assuming he was going to travel like normal people, then how did he get travel insurance when a close family member was in the last few days of his life and a cancellation was probable rather than possible?

Reading between the lines as written up in the Daily Mail, the brothers were not close. It doesn’t sound as if the brother had complex business affairs which needed sorting. So what is Sir Kier going to do whilst the funeral is arranged? Rather sounds like more to do with the optics than deep grief.

    Beeboid sob story from Wales…

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cql50wg9p6wo

When Senora O’Blene’s dad retired from the RAF, he immediately went on a catering course, with his lovely wife, and signed up to be a tenant with a well-known brewery.

They always worked the bars, lunchtime and evening on their own, and had one evening off per week, when a local worthy came in and deputised! Their food offering was none of this ‘pseudo-gastro’ rubbish, just fabulous toasted sandwiches, (made by my future MIL every morning), a few rolls and sausages, and delicacies like Scotch Eggs, which just flew off the shelves every lunchtime – and evenings!

They worked their socks off, day and night, never getting too bed before midnight, and they made enough money from their own hard graft to actually write a cheque for their retirememnt home -beating an underbidder by just a few minutes!

Of course, The Senora and I would sweep up, polish etc., at weekends, and evenings, (pints in hand of course – courtesy of the Landlord), but every morning at 10.00am sharp, the doors opened and the early drinkers arrived for their mild and bitters!

Sorry Mr Welshman, but don’t let the Beeboid mentality of ‘the world owes you a living’ cloud your requirement to work harder, expect to fail, but try harder and eventually make a profit!

‘The man behind the iconic soaps said gritty programming was important, and that there was a vacuum of such for today’s youth.’

I tentatively agree with him – depending on what kind of ‘gritty programming’ he is talking about. I hope it’s true-to-life programs like ‘Boys from the black stuff’ which tell it how it is and realistically represent certain groups of people.

‘Sir Phil was joined on the programme by Chairman of Ofcom Lord Michael Grade’

So what did Michael – head of OFCOM – think we needed more of ?.
‘… added mental health and misogyny to the list of topics needing realistic reflecting on television.’

TV programs are chock full of misogyny Michael you complete tw@t. Every white male who is in any way a ‘bad guy’ in every BBC drama is a misogynist now. And they are the most ridiculous ‘cartoon’ type which don’t exist in the real world.

And what about all the misandry from the purple-haired feminists ?. There’s plenty of that – especially in BBC news – but I don’t think I’ve EVER seen the word in any BBC report. I would say right-wing white males are now the most persecuted group of anyone in the UK. What a disgusting article : it uses the death of his brother for the most blatant of pro-Starmewr propaganda. Just reading it made me balk. There is no lower limit to what Starmer and the BBC will do.

Tom Baldwin, the author of a biography of the prime minister, told BBC Radio 5 Live that Starmer had gone to visit Nick in hospital in Leeds dozens of times.
“He didn’t want that in the papers, didn’t want people to think he was using that for political advantage,” he said.
“He went to see Nick dozens of times without cameras, without microphones, because Nick was very important to him.”

Well he’s using his death for political advantage now Tom because I don’t believe for one second you did that interview without talking to him first. I’m pretty certain he only kept it quiet because he wanted to hide his bothers mental state from the public – but now he is desperate to get something positive in the news and the BBC are more than willing. It seems to me that TTK is not quite right upstairs either. There’s some socialist Hitler going on in there – but without the personality.

Some of the most dishonest people I’ve met are in the press.
People that know exactly what they should be writing and they write the opposite.

I listened to a review of the year 2024 on Radio 4 from 8-8:50 (the “Any Questions?” slot, usually). It wasn’t too bad, with some good insights on US politics and the Presidential election from Justin Webb, who was a correspondent there years ago. Nick Robinson wasn’t so good, Amol Rajan was ok, Emma Barnett was as ever. They also had Garry Richardson, who looked back at the sporting year.

One subject that was not mentioned was immigration. Despite comments on the UK, US and French elections among others, there was no mention of this subject. I listened closely and am willing to be corrected but I counted NOT ONE SINGLE USE of the word IMMIGRATION.

How can the BBC think it possible to analyse electoral outcomes in Europe and elsewhere, and NOT mention this issue, which feeds into so many others such as housing, law-and-order, wage levels, availability of health services?

That was the giant hairy mammoth in the room and it let the review down, when there were insights of note at some points.

The BBC continues to pump out climate change propaganda…not a word questioning any of it…everyone was totally onboard and pushing the line, or lie, that everything is just wonderful….on ‘Rare Earth’ R4…..

‘Could 2025 be a year of progress on climate change and the nature crisis? Tom Heap and Helen Czerski search for some tentative green shoots with former Green MP Caroline Lucas, editor in chief of Business Green James Murray, and climate comedian Stuart Goldsmith.’

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00268w9

Are there any upsides to global warming? We are never told…it’s all bad news and it must be stopped…and CO2 is definitely the culprit…and must be stopped.

Apparently we, the public, are nearly all onboard as well…we all want to stop climate change…it’s just those nasty right-wing media crooks that spread lies and dissent. Of course this is a sleight of hand by the BBC…yes, we may wish to have a great environment…but…the question is how….and the BBC is not about to ask our opinion on that as most people see and understand the mad reality of nut zero policies as the government attempts to do a ‘highland clearance’ on the farms, shut down industry and freeze us to death.

How odd the BBC missed this wrinkle in the narrative about green energy as the rush to adopt non-fossil fuel energy causes chaos and price spikes….whre is the BBC reporting on this? Almost like they don’t want to report any negative stories about nut zero…

BBC once again obsessing about Musk…an ‘indepth’ smear campaign by SpringtimeforHitler…

‘Elon Musk’s ‘social experiment on humanity’: How X evolved in 2024′

The title suggests Musk said that… ‘social experiment on humanity’…but he didn’t…it’s not a way of looking at X that he has stated…Spring just wants an eye-catching headline and so spins it to make out Musk is some evil Dr Strangelove manipulating people…rather than someone doing the opposite as he opens up the platform to all…unlike the old Twitter regime which was pretty much a ‘social experiment on humanity’ as it tried to control and manipulate what you said and thought…much like, er, the BBC.

Spring spins other lines such as this…

‘…a faked video showing Trump telling the British Prime Minister he is going to “invade your country and make Britain Great Again”. ‘

Hmmm….a ‘faked video’? Why choose that phrase when it’s obvious it is a ‘spoof video’ and not intended to fool anyone? Spring tries to suggest it is meant as disinformation…she goes on to mention the ‘far-right activist Tommy Robinson’….really? Far-right? Please explain. But of course she can’t…it’s a smear, an insult meant to demonise and discredit.

And this?…’debunked claims about the farmer’s protests in the UK and a knife attack in Southport, in which three children were killed during a Taylor Swift-themed dance workshop.’

I think she is claiming that figures that showed that a large percentage of farmers would be affected by the inheritance tax penalty are lies…again the BBC pushing the government line. As for Southport…the name may have been wrong but everything else was probably right. Perhaps she should be investigating the huge government coverup and the smoke and mirrors operation that was mounted…not least the ‘100 far-right protests’ lie spread by government.

It is extraordinary how much time and effort the BBC puts into trying to discredit and malign Musk…of course we know that Labour and the Democrats wanted to ‘kill X’…..the BBC was more than likely, and is, a willing recruit to that sinister operation.

No irony that the BBC’s disinformation reporter spreads the most disinformation. It is bizarre…you look at the stuff she constantly focusses on and you think no-one really sees it or believes it and yet it is, apparently, world-shaking stuff of vital importance for Spring….in the meantime the Democrats literally joined forces with Putin to try and unseat Trump using a classic disinformation campaign and….nothing to see here.

Spring’s bubble is impenetrable – she’ s the closest thing we have to Taylor Lorenz this side of the pond – for the elimination of doubt that’s an insult.

A quick scan of the article is a short lesson in projection….
