    Eh? First!? Must be late.

I strongly recommend to watch Peter McCormack interview Liz Truss on you tube. She really does seem to have a full grasp of the problems facing any new right of centre party in firstly getting into government, then actually forcing change through and beating the blob.
She says much of what we on this site think. She recognises that the Tories are finished and advocates a merger between the non Wet Tories and Reform.

McCormack’s channel is sponsored by IREN which seems to be something to do with Bitcoin. I have no idea what Bitcoin is or how it works but I thought it best to alert anyone who might watch the interview to who the sponsor is.

Lefty – it’s a shame the interviewer was so poor – not a Brillo – not a Walden – not going into what she is saying .
Her failure was down to her . She made choices which enabled her to be destroyed . Whether it was herself – or bad advisors – I don’t know – but she could have done more if she’d been more clever – had a better presentation – ….
Now she is just wasting air – unable to do anything but spit ….

Btw – it works best at x2 ….i gave up after 105 minutes –

The only way there will be change is through really bad times and mass street disorder …. Which may be a few months away ….

Truss is okay – she has her state pension ….

          • Doublethinker says:

I thought Truss obliquely criticised the British people for allowing stuff they didn’t want to be forced on them and accepted that the Tory party had been as bad as Labour on this. So whilst not calling for street disorder she did suggest that public protests ought to be used to get what people want but which the political establishment won’t give them despite a clear democratic mandate to do such things. Her example was Net Zero.
I do agree that it’s a bit rich coming from someone who was a minister for over ten years to now be saying that our democratic system is broken. Most of us on this site recognised this long ago.
But if there is street disorder about rape gangs etc , not protests but real violence, we can be fairly certain that there will rapid escalation and possibly even all out racial war. I want to avoid that , people in my family might die.
Equally I don’t want young family members to live under Islam. So to my mind we have to try to find a right wing, populist , call it what you will , government that can ensure we aren’t Islamised , remain a tradition British culture and do without a war.
That involves winning elections and then the even bigger task of defeating the blob!

Double – I think the censorship will become even more intense . It’s tricky for the Marxist state to try to control X in the next 4 years .

Mass killings by Muslims probably won’t get reported at all – beyond the clownish ‘do not speculate ‘ insult – and the lies / omission about the attackers .

There is a line that Hamas ‘sleepers ‘ are just waiting for the signal to attack – perhaps they want a war either in the UK or the whole of Europe . Every so often these monsters surface at Christmas markets or Taylor swift dance clubs just to horrify .

I think it’s inevitable that there will be a ‘resolution ‘ however hard the state and its’ broadcaster try to hold the tide back …. 77 brigade to file .

As for ‘democracy ‘ next time it will be ‘any one but Labour ‘ and the dead blues will get another go to screw things up in their own lefty way …

No the Tories are a dead brand and severely divided between the wet One Nation lot who should join the LibDems and some more traditional right of centre old conservatives who could have a home in Reform.
The problem is whichever of these two groups crosses over first ought to fight by elections . The remaining ‘ Tories’ can claim they are still in the party that they won the seat for and merely form a coalition with Reform or the Lib Dems. I think that the proto Reformers will blink first. But I reckon they will win most of the resulting by elections and Reform will end this Parliament with 20 plus MPs.
I’ agree that Labour and the rest of Globalist establishment will increase the level of censorship , suppression of the people and the rate of erosion of democracy in a bid to hold onto power. But The Trump administration will easily ensure that the British people hear the truth.
Therape gang scandal will do huge damage to the political establishment , the police, judiciary and the legacy media. They have lost control of the narrative and their credibility is zero. Their hold on the people is rapidly weakening. Only a fighting retreat by the blob can save them now.

I’m afraid we must beg to differ here boss. I honestly feel that Liz Truss was warning us that the power of the Blob is greater than the power of our elected representatives and any true Conservative Prime Minister who even attempts to rock the Marxist boat will be removed and she had to go before she got started.
I thought she gave a good account of the kind of people and institutions that comprise “The Blob” and the extent of their power.
            That’s how I see it.

Hot news out of LA – Hot flushes, hot sex and Hollywood’s last taboo edition

Our BBC are still transfixed by local news from California: Death toll rises… – runs the top line of the top headline of the BBC’s top online news story – the death toll in justificatory importance mode.

That old journalistic adage says ‘if it bleeds it leads’

As 11 are confirmed dead… (BBC) – that’ll be one up on the: at least 10 confirmed deaths – as of yesterday’s headline. So of course the story still leads.

Our print press followed the BBC lead yesterday going big with ithe LA wildfires (when precisely does a fire become a wildfire?) on their frontpages – but staff long haul travel expenses ain’t what they used to be even at our big national titles – and certainly not what they are at the Beeb.

The hoi polloi public’s thoughts may now turn to dreams of holidays in sunnier climes as: One week’s supply of gas left (Telegraph) – meanwhile that mildly conservative upmarket broadsheet hints instead at the après-ski: Behind the scenes with the chalet girls

Infact we witness a veritable Ladys Day of features throughout our press frontpages.

Your Telegraph pin-up today is a movie starlet photographed with a rather odd expression on her face – not so much come to bed as meet me by the barn yard pig pen: ‘Perfect sex scene? It’s all about the grunting’ Nicole Kidman says her new film Babygirl, in which she plays a frustrated boss who has an affair with an intern half her age, made her realise sex is not properly explored on screen

Talking of frustrated girl bosses… sometimes these segueways write themselves…

Reeves: UK needs China (Times); Gilts rout threatens policy agenda… Bid to avoid need for more tax rises (FT); Now Labour plots to delay defence boost until 2030s… as Reeves flees market turmoil to cosy up to one of our biggest foes (Daily Mail); No 10 set to axe billions from disability bill to ease debt crisis (Telegraph) Mortgage rates set to rise, as Reeves faces crunch week on UK economy (i news)

Thank goodness our first female chancellor, Rachel from accounts with the dodgy CV, broke that particular glass ceiling.

But don’t let those budgetary misfortunes at the hands of the market as experienced by the likes of Liz Truss and Rachel Reeves put you off, ladies.

BBC Radio 4 Today presenter Emma Barnett turns up in the left-leaning junior poundshop Guardian that is i news to insist: Women, beware the comfort of staying at home – we get left behind

Such direct instructions delivered to the female sex as a group, prefaced with the bold announcement: ‘Women…’, inevitably reminds one of that Harry Enfield comic creation, the cut glass 1930s BBC-style television preseter, Mr Cholmondley-Warner (played by Jon Glover) and in particular the classic sketch: Women, Know Your Limits!

An ordinary dinner party, the sort of occasion we all enjoy. The men are exchanging witty stories. And look at the women, aren’t they pretty? Look at the way they laugh. They’re delightful. But now the conversation turns to more serious matters. “I wonder if the Government should make a return to the Gold Standard?” But oh dear, one of the women is about to embarass us all! “I think the Government should stay orf the Gold Standard” The lady has foolishly attempted to join the conversation with a wild and dangerous opinion of her own. What half-baked drivel.

Apparently wildfires aren’t the only hot news out of Hollywood this week: Hot flushes, hot sex and Hollywood’s last taboo. Naomi Watts (the formerly serious Times)

Now we’re somewhat overdue a calm down dear. The largely female interest Times will oblige: Badass Gran Meet the fitness world champion at 70

Meanwhile our male sportsmen making the headlines are either crook (as Aussie slang would put it): My demetia shock… Prem star Dean Windlass, 55, on his bombshell diagnosis (Mirror) – or had up on a charge: Training ground shock… ‘Sex tape’ Prem ace arrested on pitch (Sun)

Us chaps really are caught without a paddle, unable to even think about making any progress up the proverbial creek: Single men on the horror of dating apps (Times)

It’s just not cricket to ban women! (Daily Express)

Your Mr AsI loves to find those sign of the times, state of the nation quotes lurking in plain sight in our media. Frank admissions of the regime sentiment and policy. And right there you have the British justification for toadying to US post-911 costly foreign policy entanglements: Pressure growing on England to boycott Afghanistan match in protest at Taliban (Express)

So we went to war for a decade so Afghan women can go to university and the pride flag may fly over Kabul.

How very British – if we can’t beat them on the battlefield, we’ll take away our bat and ball and refuse to play them on the playing field.

And…it didn’t take long for the push back from far left racebaiters did it ?

THIS is the VERY attitude that enabled it all to thrive in the first place:

“Rape case councils brand the term ‘Asian gang’ racist – as it’s revealed Pakistanis are four times more likely to be child groomers.

Council areas where British-Pakistani men raped young white girls have endorsed an Islamophobia definition which labels the phrase ‘Asian grooming gangs’ racist.

Oxford, Newcastle, Manchester and Calderdale are local authorities backing a report that critics believe will silence whistle-blowers raising the alarm about child abuse.

This report says that using the term ‘Asian grooming gangs’ is a repetition of ‘age-old stereotypes and tropes about Islam’ of ‘sexual profligacy and paedophilia, or Islam and violence’.

This, the report concludes, ‘heighten[s] the vulnerability of Muslims to hate crimes’, the Times reports.

Labour has adopted this definition and the report, produced by the all-party parliamentary group for British Muslims, which is co-chaired by the health secretary, Wes Streeting.

It comes as new unreleased data suggests Pakistanis are up to four times more likely to be responsible for child sex grooming offences reported to police than the general population”

Rauf, now 55, has returned to Rochdale since his release from prison in 2014 after serving two-and-a-half years of a six-year-sentence for trafficking a 15-year-old girl for sex and for having sex with her himself.

This has been mentioned over and over in witness testimony, it is not a matter of conjecture.

Now hidden from the archives of the local Luton Today news website, is the article about the 300 sikhs who protested and surrounded the police station 15 years ago over the “grooming” of their children by muslim pakistani men.

Also now hidden, the story of the scandal of corrupt payments to the local college running the required English language courses for a UK passport, £500 bung for an automatic pass at the time, which is why so many of them cannot speak English.

No sign of the spike in wholesale price of electricity (price/MWh) last night. It was just as cold as the night before and wind generation well below 5GW, a bit of help from the interconnectors (France + Norway). But why no massive spike in energy price like last night where some gas powered electric generators were paid 50 times over the going rate.

Looks like an over promoted diversity hire:

*Kristin M. Crowley is the 19th Fire Chief of the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD). With her wife and children by her side, Chief Crowley took the oath of office on March 25, 2022 – becoming the first female and LGBTQ Fire Chief in the LAFD.*

Still, I love it when then blame each other .

Meanwhile scrapping the barrel for ‘Brit’ related stories the BBC find:

“Former pro footballer prepares to welcome baby as LA fires rage
Former professional footballer Andy Iro, from Liverpool, has been living in LA since 2015.
Who ? He played for Liverpool?
    a9980a3a-7dcb-4f14-b430-b13650b44544.jpg.webp
“Iro, now retired, used to play for Barnet FC”

    Finally
    “Palisades resident mourns ‘enchanted’ area”

“A resident of Pacific Palisades who lost his home in the LA fires tells the BBC World Service Weekend that his neighbourhood’s reputation as one of the safest in the world is shattered.”

Seriously? I’ve never even heard of the Pacific Palisades before.

“It has beautiful shops and restaurants all locally owned”

His cosy life revolving around restaurants and shopping. No wonder the story resonantes with the BBC staff.

In 2014, prior to the anti-Muslim riots, he told a cheering Sinhala nationalist crowd in Aluthgama that “if one marakkalaya ( Muslim) lays a hand on a Sinhalese that will be the end of all of them”. The resulting violence killed four people and left 80 injured, with hundreds left homeless. Amongst the sites attacked were mosques, Muslim homes, businesses, and even a nursery.

The UK continues to challenge (WITH NO POWER) China on areas of disagreement, with the Chancellor raising concerns over China’s support for Russia’s illegal war (Chinese airlines are still able to fly over Russia, giving them a commercial advantage. ), domestic interference (Rishi Sunak u-turns on proposed ban on Chinese institutes) and sanctions against British parliamentarians (Christine Lee: Labour MP Barry Gardiner says Chinese agent ‘gained no political advantage’ from him).

Sure enough, look what the far-left scumbag BBC have written:

    ‘Trump invades Greenland’
‘The “nuclear option” seems far-fetched, but with Trump failing to rule out military action it has to be considered.’

No it doesn’t BBC. Perhaps what SHOULD be considered is getting Trump to clarify what he meant in response to the ridiculous question this whole assertion is based on.

100% left-wing activist scaremongering rubbish. And they know it – but it’s all part of their campaign to discredit and degrade public opinion of Trump.

The BBC have no conscience, no scruples and don’t care one bit what damage they do when they push their own political agenda. Whether it’s covering up the mass-rape of young white girls by Pakistanis or the many barbaric stabbings on our streets by 14 year old black youths who are part of drug dealing gangs. They don’t care. They think their fantasy end-game of a global socialist panacea justifies it.

History begs to differ : when they have that power, they always end up murdering everyone who disagrees with them.

‘They never came. The gate was still locked,’ he claimed. ‘They never came. I watched from my security cameras until our house burned down. There were no fire trucks.’

As his home burned down, Pratt insisted that he called 911 and informed them that if they sent ‘one fire truck’ to his street that they ‘could stop [the fire from] coming down the whole freaking area.’
